Hi there. I am a professional single woman, no kids, 60 year old, looking for a quiet non-smoking, pet friendly mature independent female to half-share a 3-4 bedroom home in the Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Heidelberg Heights, Rosanna, Macleod, Watsonia area with a rental range of $600-$800 a week ($300-$400 each). I am fit, active, loyal, reliable, trustworthy and honest, clean and tidy. I have a small dog and cat, both well house trained. I enjoy the theatre, the arts, movies, catching up with friends for a walk, Sunday brunch, going to the markets. Love to walk. Walking/hiking is my thing. On the home front I live quietly, potter around the home, gardening, reading a good book. I am enjoy clean food, although I indulge when the occasion is right - Christmas...and love my hot cross buns. Looking for someone with similar lifestyle and interests to share a home with. I work full time in the CBD (Melbourne) in an executive administration role in the Victorian government. I have all furniture and whitegoods but can easily put into storage if needed.
I am a 21 year old female studying at Bundoora RMIT. Currently my commute is about an hour and a half either way to get to and from uni and I’m looking to move closer to uni! I respect the element of people’s own space but I am also open to hanging out and meeting new people! I enjoy having a laugh, cooking and shopping!
A pretty chilled individual. Final year law student at La Trobe University. Working part time for a firm in the city. Likes the outdoors and country. Been share house trained. Ideally I want to find a place with a long term lease where I consider home in the north eastern suburbs. I enjoy looking after a place and keeping it clean, warm, and welcoming. I have great references from different real estate agents and housemates with whom I have lived with over the years in the area.
Hey. We are an english couple back in Australia for our second year. Just finished a road trip around WA and are now looking for a place to call home. Last year we lived in a share house in Macleod and ideally want to be in the same sort of Area. We are a clean and tidy couple, social and looking to make friends whilst being in Melbourne. We enjoy an active lifestyle doing a fair bit of running and hiking. We enjoy exploring the city at weekends going out for drinks and living the Melbourne lifestyle. Hope to hear from you soon.
*Update* Brass tacks: I'd pay max! $250 pw if that includes either bills, perfect location or both! - internet's just a bonus. All depends on the details! Fitzroy's my home so anywhere where there's a station or the city's within walking distance is blitz for me & my furbaby Taco! Taco is medium in size, house-trained, loved by everyone & will be my roommate -esp inside of the night- cos if someone was trying to break-in he would be a greatly appreciated asset in your eyes & he wouldn't be able to save your ass if he was kept outside! Add to that, he never stinks cos he thinks he's a cat & so cleans himself as such. Is great to live with; quiet & gentle & fun! You'll fall in love with him right from the start!^_^ Me, well recently, I was studying Visual Art in Bendigo (2017) which is from where we'll be moving. I want to come back to Melbourne cos I've missed the place &;the people much! I'll be studying at CAE + finding part-time work this year - I always get what I want from life cos I let nothing stop me. - Ideally looking for a 6 month stay or more. Clean, easy-going, friendly & like my people much the same & enjoy my own space ;) Love cooking communally every now & then- it's well fun! Enjoy happy-go-lucky/spontaneous/fun/chill people; love music, art, playing with my furry baby, being active, dancing, adventures, reading, & playing guitar, etc. Always cover living expenses on time! Can handle myself. - I've never been in debt & have paid rent etc since I was 17 years old; took care of horses since I was 9 (for the hard work appreciated I got to ride them at a cheaper price) & cared for all other animals since even younger (naturally I love them); first started paid work at 15; sold artwork at first exhibition aged 16; volunteer work with rescues/op shops/RDA; teaching guitar freelance; working behind bar, etc. & have always studied both in & out of school. So there's my work ethic all laid out for you, & for these reasons, I guess- lazy & boring people are a total turn off to be around for a second- let alone live with. So if you're boring/apathetic or think I'm gona split with Tac' don't even waste my time. Thanks much. Need to know any more, ask.. Naturally, if you don't love dogs there's no way -so in that case- don't ask ! Want to get back to melb asap ^_^ Advocate against animal abuse/cruelty & never buy products tested on animals - you'll be surprised by how many are!! See & share this link with your family & friends♡☆ N.B. fm wont accept urls so just search 'animals australia animal testing list' if you love animals & want to help put an end to the cruelty! Passionate about social justice; LGBT friendly; "perfect tenant" blablabla lalalove! ;) Luna♡☆ You can msg my mobile ~ wait no you can't cos flatmates is a whore (they'll prolly censor that too like free contact info) whatever. Fuck this. I'll upgrade later. Can't just move-out right yet anyway - but soon
Hello my name is yaqoob and I'm moving to Melbourne to complete my study in Latrobe university. I would like to make a respectful relationship with people . I'm socially with people and listen to them . I like doing sport like jogging and play tennis . I'm looking for a place that close to Latrobe university Or between the CBD and the uni. If you're interested to have me in your house , please contact me . Thank you
I am a very independent but I don't disclose the social aspect that comes along with being a young adult. Interested and always up for meeting new people. I suppose partly comes from travelling and living overseas. You learn to accompany yourself as well as get involved with what other people are doing. I personally spend majority of my time outdoors whether with work as a landscaper or finding some new, cool or thrill seeking spot to hike, climb or ride. My tendency of living is generally clean and tidy. I've lived in my own shared house in Canada, I shared rooms or lived in a house with as many as 10 people at once. I respect other people's privacy as I would expect some what of the same in return. I can cook, so I am self sufficient. I don't mind cleaning the inside of a toilet either, nor the entire shared bathroom in general. When we first meet, I might be shy at first, but come round a week or so and I'll drop my guard down and be super chilled. I am honestly after a place with people who are like minded, between ages of 22-30 mix of female and male. Down to earth but up for having fun too. All rounder not completely strict. Although I am a non-smoker and i don't have any pets.
Hey, I am an international student from India with an easy-going, friendly attitude who loves to hangout with people. I love playing musical instruments and enjoy sharing a drink. I am not at all a loner/shy person and would enjoy having company of room-mates.
I am an easy going post grad student and will be spending my time at uni or work during the week and out and about on the weekends. Born and raised in Melbourne. I am an organised, respectful and sociable person who enjoys cooking, going to the gym, and travelling.
Hi, my name's Justin, I'm a 38 year old barista, and musician in my spare time. I'm pretty quiet around the house, but like to make a little noise with my guitar when no one is around (I have weekdays off, so this usually works out pretty well). I've been renting with a married couple in a house they own for nearly 4 years, and moving on due to upcoming renovations of my room. Always considerate, tidy, clean, think communication is important (like to know if I'm doing something that annoys others around the house, yet pretty tolerant of other's quirks). Always on time with rent, and like to keep on top of my share of house chores. Friendly, love a chat, but sometimes keep to myself for a while to rejuvenate after a day of working with people in hospitality. I'm looking to move within a month, and am free to move pretty much as soon as something suitable comes up. Thanks, Justin.
Hi ! I am Anindita. I will be pursuing my Masters at La Trobe University, Bundoora, Melbourne campus. I am someone who is easy going, social, quickly adapts to change, enjoys making friends and would like to team up for shared accommodation near the university (females preferably). Love to stay fit, very organized, able to cook and a neat freak. Besides, I don’t mind socializing but would definitely respect the privacy and space of the other housemates. Looking forward to get along with a happy soul who is full of life !
I am a very friendly and bubbly person! Always clean up after myself. I work in childcare and study social work at Uni ☺️ I receive a good pay from work and the government which means I always pay rent and bills ontime. I have two amazing references from my previous houses also! I’m also very social but also extremely respectful of privacy considering i also like my privacy sometimes. I dont want any other suburb than these ones ... look forward to hearing from you 😉 OH and I’m a busy bee so I’m rarely home😌
Hello! Im a 25 year old male Software Engineer. I have been share renting with a group of friends for the last 3 years now. Looking for a change of atmosphere. Im quite an introverted guy but open to new experiences. I am very respectful of other's property. I have taken on the roll of house bookkeeper and can appreciate the need for mutual responsibility. I travel to the city for work; working 9 to 7. A little bit eairler if I visit the gym. I have a motobike that is not that loud (250 cc honda) - I would need to be able to park behind a locked gate or preferably within a garage. I also have a furry feline friend who's name is Toby - He can be quite affectionate but unfourtunatlly does not play well with other animals - especially dogs. When I have free time - it is usually spend reading, motobike riding or possibly playing a game on the PS4. Lately i have taken an interest in scuba diving and i plan on turning into a more prelevnant hobbie. Smoker specifed as I use an electroic ciggerate - happy to not use inside.
I see myself as an extroverted introvert. I enjoy being in a social atmosphere but at the same time can appreciate alone time as well. I enjoy keeping active whether it being involved in sports or going to the gym. I'm well travelled and have just returned from travelling across Canada & USA for the past 6 weeks. I've stayed in hostels for extended amounts of time so know how to respect others personal space. I'll be studying full time so probably won't be home all that often as i'll be working part time as well. I enjoy the art culture and am excited to explore Melbourne a lot more as i'm from North Queensland. It feels odd just typing a paragraph about me but if you have any questions or queries just send me a message! Basically i'm easy going, can respect your space, clean and organised and love exploring! Look forward to meeting you :)
Hi my names Nadia! I’m 20 years old and currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences through Swinburne University. I’m very neat and tidy, I love to cook and I pretty much keep to myself but not to the point where I never leave my room, I love to socialise!
I honestly enjoy being tidy and am respectful of everyone's space. I enjoy meeting people and hanging out. I'm studying Bachelor of Computer science at Latrobe uni and work part time. Being outdoors, and living a healthy balanced lifestyle is important to me. Feel free to contact me.
Our townhouse is situated in an adorable street filled with beautifully well kept homes and lot's of greenery. Along the street there is plenty of visitors parking spots for friends and family to park close and securely for when they come to say hello, and if you have a car yourself we have a double car garage in a gated area shared with the houses around us, which makes it very secure! The bottom floor of our townhouse includes a spacious living and dining area, a medium sized kitchen with extra space at the very back (still trying to work out exactly what to do with that space, maybe you could help!). There's also a guest toilet, a laundry and of course the backyard! The backyard includes a BBQ, a small terrace with a table and chairs, a walkway down to the washing line and also a big patch of grass on the side (looking at getting a large inflatable pool to sit there for summer time!). The top floor only has the three bedrooms and the shared bathroom. The room that we are currently presenting for rent is decently sized and has built in wardrobes and storage space. It is a well lit room with three windows which gives you views of the trees around us and our backyard. The bathroom will be shared with only one other person (female) and includes both a shower and a bath and has plenty of storage space underneath the sink. There is also a toilet which is seperate to the bathroom. We have unlimited internet (extra $) which does seem to be slow at times, so if you are a heavy internet user and would like faster internet, we would be happy to look for something better together at a price range that suits all. We also have (seperate) heating and cooling systems. If you are a smoker, we have no issue with this as long as you smoke outside. We also have two small dogs (Maltese x toy poodle and Maltese x jack Russell) so you must be okay with dogs! There's an oval just a two minute walk away if you enjoy exercising and going for walks, or theres a massive reserve about a 5 minute drive away (maybe a 20-30 minute walk?) that is perfect for long walks and runs. Greensborough Shopping Centre is a 5 minute drive down the road as well! LaTrobe University is also only a 5-10 min drive away! Macleod train station is a 10-15 minute walk away and there is a bus to LaTrobe situated at Macleod train station that will get you there in 8 minutes!
I'm a La Trobe Uni Student, studying Maths and Statistics. I work as a Barista in Montmerency. I'm quiet and tidy, and make a mean coffee if you have a machine available! My main hobbies are card games and Warhammer (a bit of a nerd in case the Maths and Stats didn't give that away). Currently, I'm looking for a place with a bit of extra space and comfort, ideally with my own bathroom. The two locations I need to be somewhat near are Bundoora for study, and Montmerency for work.
Four bedroom house located in quiet street of Macleod. House is fully furnished - fridge, washing machine, dinning, unlimited wifi connection. Room is spacious built in robe and Double bed Very easy access to the public transportation ( train or buses ). 9 mins walk to Macleod station. 20 mins walk to La Trobe University. Only 14kms to Melbourne CBD or half an hour on the train.
I am a 42 year-old male professional working full-time in the university sector. I am busy with work during weekdays and on the weekend, I catch up with my daughter or go out etc... My length of stay varies around a few months. I have a strong preference for a smoke-free, pet-free, and clean place.
