I am a person who is easy going and really comfortable to live with. A person who minds his own business and does not poke his nose into others' lives is definitely me. Moreover a person with a really good understanding is all that you will be hunting for. And that, I assure you of and expect from others.
Josh 23 My current lease is ending in January, so looking to stay in a nice place at a good price with great people. Looking to rent with people close to my age. I'm flexible with length of stay. It'll be my first year out of uni commencing full time work as a radiographer, I'm also going to work a few extra hours as a pool lifeguard to earn some extra $$, I quite often go swimming and/or the gym, so ill be out of the house most of the day. I have previously rented with other people for over two years now. I'm respectful, fair, polite and considerate housemate. Im clean and tidy but not one of those people on your back if your not tidy. I'm relaxed, calm and easy to communicate with. I have a car so parking on the street or at the property would be great. Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks, Josh
Will and I are pretty easy going people, we like to have a fun time and a drink or two but we also can appreciate a quiet night in with a movie and a couple of friends. We are currently living in Wonthaggi, South Gippsland but are looking to relocate as I will be studying Wildlife and Conservation Biology at LaTrobe Bundoora come March and Will will be study with ACAP. I love love love to cook vegetarian/vegans meals (I am a transitioning vegan) and usually make way too much for the both of us, so if you like to share food then we are your people! Will loves his gardening and has developed a bit of a hobby with alcohol infusions. We both have no qualms with pets or smoking, essentially we will respect you if you respect us. Looking forward to hearing from any potential flatmates!
Awesome property in Macleod - centrally located and close to public transport. The entire upstairs floor is available from rent - which includes private rumpus, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom could be used as a study so this set up would suit a student or someone who needs more storage space. There is an outdoor pool which will be great for the coming summer.
Hi, I'm looking for accommodation near Latrobe University (enrolled in Masters of Communication PR) I want a furnished room and all bills included in rent. I'm pet friendly. I need a household with people who'd let me do my own cooking separately.
Hi, I'm Steph a 23 year old physiotherapist working at the Austin Hospital. I will be working full time 40 hours a week, some weekends and some evenings. I am a pretty active person who loves netball and the gym. I am mature and respectful but also social don't mind a quiet drink and a yarn. I am a mature and respectful person who likes to stay active with an avid joy of netball and the gym. I enjoy a social meal and drink but likewise I'm partial to keeping to myself. I am looking for a place where I can be a housemate not just rent a room and being that I'm still relatively new to Melbourne, moving from Canberra I am keen to meet new people and would love if my housemates could help me out with that.
I honestly enjoy being tidy and am respectful of everyone's space. I enjoy meeting people and hanging out. I'm studying Bachelor of Computer science at Latrobe uni and work part time. Being outdoors, and living a healthy balanced lifestyle is important to me. Feel free to contact me.
I am quite busy with my schedule at the moment (uni + work), I also tend to be a bit of a muso so I do have 3 guitars and more guitar stuff. I am quite particular about things being clean, but not too crazy, as long as people are responsible for cleaning up after themselves I am all good. As mentioned above I am quite busy with my schedule, but would love to enjoy a dinner, drink or occasional movie when time permits.
Hey there, I'm currently looking for a house that is close to Latrobe as I am studying there from next year; majoring in Japanese and Linguistics. I am neat, friendly, quiet and vegetarian. In my spare time I like to read, go to the gym, watch sci fi and anime and go out for brunch :) My move date is flexible as long as I have found a place by the beginning of February, as I will be going to Sri Lanka for 3 weeks and want to be settled before then. I am a package deal with my cute bird Paulie! Dont worry, he's very friendly! During the day he would be outside in his cage and when im home he'd be in my room.
Dear awesome, fun, cool, exciting, new person :) Are you looking for some peace and quiet, somewhere to relax, have your own personal space whilst feeling at home and safe within a lovely green neighbourhood? I am currently looking for a new flatmate to move in with just myself and my two little cute kittys into my lovely 2 bedroom home in Macleod. Rent is $175 per week not including expenses. The utility bills are just split evenly. The internet is just $35 a month each. The available bedroom is not furnished but does have a BIR. If you have not yet been to the area, it is right near La Trobe Uni, just past Ivanhoe and Heidelberg, before Greensborough. It is a quick 5 min walk down to Macleod Station (with buses to the uni) and the train to Flinders Street takes 30 minutes. If you are looking for somewhere to get away from the hectic city, there is a mini bush vibe going on with very close proximity to park/bushlands and a great little forest nature reserve. We have a small shopping village right near the train station with two cute little op shops, a funky 70's cafe that does great coffee (they even have a mirror ball in their bathroom!) and a bunch of other weird stuff that you can discover for yourself :P
Business Student at La Trobe University, looking for a clean household as I like tidy environments with friendly people. Uni for me is a few days a week. I lived on campus my first year, moved out with my friends from there this year and I am looking to team up with someone to rent in the Bundoora area for 2018. This will be my final year. I am only looking for females to rent with :) I love to have a chat with others, however, like many, I do also like my alone time or meeting up with friends. I am not looking for someone who has pets or wants to have a rental that allows this.
Hey, I have just finished my Honours in Botany at La Trobe University and will be continuing my studies with a PhD over the next few years. Seeking a share-house near uni but am open to suburbs a little further away and am flexible with the move date. My PhD project will focus on molecular plant biology and genetics in fields such as medicinal agriculture and plant development to help discover plant-based solutions for human illnesses and maintaining agricultural productivity/food security in the context of climate change and a growing population. I have lived in share houses since I was 20 and quite enjoy it when there is good chemistry between housemates. I have also owned and lived in my own home and have backpacked through many countries including Greece, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Most recently, I spent a year in South America where I volunteered on farms, couch-surfed with many locals, and made a short film with students in Colombia. I like exploring new people/places/experiences, am pretty adaptable, and am very accepting of cultural differences. I like to keep things tidy and happy to clean, garden and chip in around the home. I don't mind a bit of a chat. Apart from uni, I have plenty of casual work, I like to catch up with friends, hit the gym or go for a bike ride. I'm into gardening, permaculture, Qi Gong, the outdoors, equality, movies, music, respect for one another etc. I get along best with open-minded, free spirited, positive, creative types who are self-motivated and passionate about what they do in life whatever it is. In addition to my bedroom furniture I have a dining table, a two-seater plus chaise lounge, a top-loader washing machine and a 520L new-ish fridge in excellent condition. Happy to answer any questions and I'm really looking forward to seeing what's out there. Cheers G
Hi ! 😎 I am Anindita from India. I will be pursuing my Masters at La Trobe University, Bundoora, Melbourne campus. I enjoy making friends and would like to team up for shared accommodation near the university (Indians / girls preferably). Love to stay fit, able to cook and prefer cleanliness. Looking forward to get along with a happy soul who is full of life ! 🙌🏻
Studying at La Trobe next semester, finding part time work as soon as I land in Melbourne. Currently in Tasmania. Enjoy interacting with people, am neat, tidy and organized.
Hi! I am Iris, looking for a place around La Trobe Uni. I am starting a bachelor of science next year, so am looking for a place to move into in Feburary. I've recently had a nearly a year off traveling Aus in my van and working casually as a nurse. I have lived in a couple of share houses before and am respectful of privacy and belongings. I would love a to have a garden for a veggie patch and maybe chickens is possible! I love meeting new people!
Hi, I’m Mathew, I'm 36 and I study Aerospace Engineering full-time at RMIT. In my spare time I like to relax, eat out or go see a gig. I'm also a huge fan of the beach and I've begun to dabble in the world of health & fitness. A bit of Netflix and the odd video game rounds things out nicely. Aside from the Engineering stuff, my special skillset is computers and tech. Any tech problem, I can fix it! I am currently living off a Disability Support Pension for two non-physical disabilities. I can either work or study - I can't do both. But rest assured, I am 100% independant. I have 6 years of sharehouse experience and references are available on request. I pay rent and bills on time, and manage my money very well. I am a model housemate! Due to my needs, I am looking for a very large bedroom or 'wing' of a house that I can claim as my own. I am social when at home, but as it is I require a lot of downtime and privacy. I'm currently living in Heidelberg and need to stay in the area for uni, and also be reasonably close to The Repat hospital for appointments. Furniture wise, I have most of what I need to live alone, including white goods - happy to share these with others. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Any questions, please ask.
The house is in a perfect location for someone studying at La Trobe University, Bundoora, as it is only an 8 minute drive away. 10 minute walk and 3 minute drive to supermarket, shops, and the nearest train station. Your bedroom has built-in robes, a double bed and plenty of privacy. The bedroom joins onto a separate living area, which you will have primary access to. There are 2 bathrooms, and you will have primary access to 1 of them. Kitchen is shared. Priced at $160 per week; including bills and superfast, unlimited internet. Off-street parking is available, and there is a massive backyard.
Hi! I am a 20 year old bachelor of laws/bachelor of psychological science student at La Trobe University. I believe that I would be a great addition to any share house. I am easy going, clean, and organised. I like to have a good joke and a laugh with others but also like my alone time. I would enjoy living in a house with others who possess these qualities and value these things. I am looking for a room in a share house somewhere on the Hurstbridge line or around the Bundoora-Kingsbury area close to university.
My name is Marcus, a 33y.o. Professional who lives in this beautifully renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Tudor style home in Macleod. (Renting) The house is lovely and light and is full of character! The space: I basically have just furnished the whole house with my new furniture where I now have just left empty; 1. the largest bedroom (6mx3m) 2. an adjoining carpeted lounge and 3. a main bathroom all right near each other on the downstairs level (where my room, and my kids* room and ensuite are all upstairs.) so in short, other than the main lounge and kitchen you would almost have the whole downstairs level to yourself! The laundry is a European laundry in the downstairs bathroom. I have a big fridge, new washing machine (so you wouldn't have to bring one if you didn't want to.) There is a garage on the property, at the moment taken up by my classic car, but there is plenty of parking avail on the street right outside the house. I'm basically thinking $250pw plus sharing the bills (elec, gas, water) and I'll cover the internet cost.
University masters student. I live simply with a routine that involves cleaning 1 thing a day to stay on top of mess (sweep a floor, clean the toilet etc). Massive nerd, enjoy an occasional drink, but not into parties. At home studying most of the days not at uni or a job. Have managed a share house for two and half years so I understand the challenges of divided cleaning so will pull my weight and can help encourage others to do likewise.
