My name is Latifa. I have a full time job working in the Defense sector and need a place to share for min 6-9 months. I am clean, tidy and quiet and respectful of others. Non smoker. I like to cook and tend to eat at home on weeknights. Happy to share house hold chores to keep the place tidy. I own property in Perth and my family lives in Perth. I am relocating to Canberra 2nd week of May. Looking for a room to share where parking is a possibility (Okay with off-street parking, as long as there is no time limit on parking) and with easy access to public transport to Russell Offices. I have temporary accommodation sorted, so looking for a share house with long term potential. Happy to provide character references from colleagues and friends in Perth as well as a work colleague from Canberra.
I am from Melbourne and have lived in a few share houses during my time here while I was studying my undergrad degree and when I was working full time. I am looking for accommodation for a student about to start his Masters degree at ANU. I enjoy cooking, board games, card games, reading, and computer games. I’m generally a quiet, private person but do enjoy socialising and having a few glasses of wine or beer.
Hi, I am 37 years old, Training & Development Specialist. I am respectful of personal space, clean and organised. I love to have meaningful conversations, reading, learning new things, practicing Yoga and exploring nature. Looking for friendly and responsible housemates. Prefer a furnished room with own bathroom in a furnished house/flat and access to gas stove, washing machine, fridge and wifi internet.
Im a happy easy to get along person. Responsible with paying rent on time and ive NEVER lost my bond in any way in 16 yrs of living from home. Considerate with others and their space but om quite sociable when needed. Im about to start my own Cleaning business so i am a clean tidy individual and i expect the same from others. I'll always pull my weight with house duties but im not a maid lol. I enjoy my own time and am quite comfortable around all personality types. I am a qualified PT so im fit and healthy and im not a slob. I get along with all walks of life. I love to cook and i love my sports. My cat Shadow is well house trained and adapts quickly with new people and her enviroment. I work from 6am to 12pm mon to fri and do casual shift work at the Raiders Gungahlin which so my work times there range from 4pm to 9pm which equals 38hrs per wk usually. I understand the need for quiet when living with others. If i sound like the right person you'd like to live with then feel free to message me. Thank you and i look forward to our first meet.
I will be commencing study at UC doing a double degree of health and psychology and will also be transferring my current job and working part-time in retail! I'm looking for either 1 big bedroom or 2 bedrooms for my daughter and myself (she will be 3 years old), she will only stay with me from Monday to Friday and I will commute her back to her dad's house on weekends. She will be enrolled in care Mon - Fri surrounding my work and study so the only times we will really be home is mornings and afternoons! I'm an extremely tidy person and don't like hanging around the house my work/study load permits a day off! I don't smoke but don't mind an occasional glass of wine on the weekend or after a big day :)
Hey there, I am a young kiwi looking to fly from the nest (even though kiwis can't fly). I was born, raised and have never moved from a small city in New Zealand and am ready to venture over to Canberra to begin my studies at University of Canberra. I am currently a full-time student at UCOL (my current course finishes mid May) and part-time employee in sales- yes, I never seem to get a day off. Some hobbies which I have also include some rather nerdy things such as gaming, cosplay and playing some good ol'fashioned card games. I do have a taste for the finer things in life such as fast speed internet, 2 minute noodles and memes. I enjoy being social and trying new things, I never back down from a challenge. I am more than willing to compromise and cooperate with everyone I live with (it also helps that I'm a passionate baker and love cleaning- vacuuming is my favorite). All I am seeking in return is a good experience with some relaxed, friendly people. I look forward to hearing from you soon, Robyn
I am looking for a room. I am a middle aged man who is a full time self-published writer and performer. I spend most of my days writing (plus admin and marketing my books) in cafes. I have been a counsellor, cleaner and public servant. I am 'spiritually' minded, for want of a better word. I have been either house-sitting or renting for a few years after the end of a long relationship. The place I was sold. I have temporary accommodation thanks to a lovely friend. I like to meditate, go out to places like The Front Cafe or Smiths, art openings and other things around town. I have a lot of friends of different ages. I like reading and going into the bush and I can cook well. I cannot drive as I have a genetic eye disorder but my brain seems to compensate a lot; so other than driving I am quite functional. I am pretty clean and tidy. I can pretty much talk about anything and I am quite 'chilled.' Also, I have plenty in my bank account to pay rent with, just not enough to buy; I am also on the visual disability pension Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
I'm a uni student studying a Master of physiotherapy looking to move down from Victoria to start at UC in August. I'm a very laid back person who spends most of his time at the gym, studying or at work. I'm keen to become good friends with whoever I move in with and will also always be respectful and clean.
I am an Australian student studying Museums and Conservation at UC, I arrive back in Australia after studying in the UK for a year early August. I am wanting a room until mid November. I am clean, sociable (but also love my own space), I get along with everyone and have years of experience in living alone and in sharehouses. Cheers, Brent
Full-time public servant who plays a bunch of sports. I dont mind a beer and hanging out on the weekend but respect peoples privacy. Im really easy going and easy to get along with.
We're quiet and respectful. As we're both studying full time we are quite busy but like to hang out and watch tv or game. Ben is completing his masters in engineering at ANU and I'm finishing studying ecology at UC.
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills. I am a builder and have a ute and trailer that I need to be able to park safely and a few tools that I would like to store in the corner of a lock up garage if possible.
Hi there I work at ANU. I have one room available. There is no pet in the house. The house is a double- storey townhouse which is newly renovated with new carpet, kitchen and bathroom. All appliances are new. It is a good size room fully furnished with a double bed mattress. A large built-in robe, writing desk and chair. The house is conveniently located within walking distance to bus stops, Westfield Belconnen shopping centre, restaurants and lake and public swimming pool. I am looking for a clean, tidy and responsible housemate. She should be considerate for others who are sharing the house. Utility and WIFI will be shared equally three ways (not included in rent) If you like living in a clean and neat house you are welcome to join us. p.s. I am a Chinese originally from Singapore but has been in Canberra for ten years.
I'm going away for the winter, so please contact me if you're interested in subletting a house for six weeks to three months. This house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small yard, and a garage. The time and price are negotiable depending on your needs! I cycle into ANU every day, but there is a bus stop nearby if you want to take the bus. University of Canberra is much closer.
Moved to australia a couple of years ago and I am looking for a nice sharehouse with cool people. I work as an in an electronics factory doing electrical testing, I don't smoke and don't listen to music without my headphones on so don't worry about being woken up in the middle of the night.I'm a really easy going, tidy, a little bit OCD about cleanliness. Don't hesitate to ask any question you may have.
I am a 42yo female working 6 days a week as a store manager. I am very tidy and responsible. I am looking for a nice quiet accomodation preferrably with 1-2 people. I am often away, have no pets, my children live interstate. I am nice and easy however keep my distance and do not invade other people's private space. I am planning to move interstate in a few months time but have no particular date set, so my preferred length of stay can be smth from 3 months to 12 months or so, may be a bit longer.
We are an easygoing, respectful and open minded couple moving from the Netherlands to Canberra, to do a fulltime internship at CSIRO for 6 months. During the week we will be working and in the weekends we would like to explore the area and meet new people:) We have both been living in a housesharing situation for 5-6 years in Amsterdam. We both like sports and being outdoors. Send me a message if you can help us out or want to know more about us!

Heya! I am a veteran sharehouser who is after a quieter 2 bedroom 2 person set up. I have a stable job working for a private engineering and consulting firm so my work hours aren't extreme and I am generally free weekends and evenings. I am studying librarianship and am in my 3rd year of a 5 year study plan. I am after just one other to live with in a non-party, but super friendly set up. I want to become good friends with my housemate. I would prefer to team up with someone and tackle the rental market together so we can start a new home. I have an old lazy cat named Molly, so the tenancy would have to be agreeable to her. She is however very docile and kind, strictly indoors and only meows when I'm getting her meals ready, so she is the perfect addition to any household! I am a quiet and kind housemate who has been around the block renting in Canberra (I also have references etc) and enjoy relaxing with housemates chatting, have a few drinks and Netflix binging. Of course I enjoy my personal space too and could only live with someone who appreciates the same values. My move in dates are very flexible, I have all my own bedroom furniture and have some basic furnishings for the rest of the house if needed (couch, side tables, artwork, cookware, rugs etc) I enjoy a good book, movies and discussion, cuddling with animals and going on adventures. Let me know if you think we might be a good fit!
I moved to Canberra 4 years ago for Uni. Last year I completed my Bachelor Music/Visual Arts. Now I'm studying to get a qualification in Business and Administration. I'm currently working as floor staff at the National Gallery Cafe. I'm a very easy going, quiet person. I've lived in a few share house situations and I believe respect and consideration of the other flat mates, and doing your share of work and cleaning, is key. I'm a fairly independent person but I also like to sit down at the end of the day and have a good chat with friends. I enjoy drawing and painting. Reading is also a beloved past time of mine.
I moved to Canberra 18 months ago for University but now have deferred, looking to move off campus and a full time employment. I enjoy going to the gym, walks and enjoy social outings. I have an outgoing, bubbly personality. I have no pets.
two dudes, just looking for a place to stay and to make some mates on the way. both on our way to becoming chefs! we're both pretty clean and tidy (accept jacks dirty dreads), and also easy to get along with. we work pretty late hours sometimes so will be in and out quite often. both enjoy to have a drink with mates and getting upto some mischief, also love getting outdoors and trying to be productive :) both smoker and both full-time workers just looking for like minded people to share a home with. send us a message or give jack a call or text:)
I'm currently a full time postgraduate student at ANU. Well, I was born, raised, educated and challenged in Phnom Penh, Cambodia before moving here. I originally wanted to keep living and challenging in my home country, but then later became interested in traveling and learning different culture and thought it would be better to do so through thriving in a different society with diversity and appreciating a simpler way of living. Up until now, I've been in Canberra for nearly two weeks, and I am still looking for a place to move in since I am currently living in a temporary accommodation. I promise to be a good tenant who will make an on time payment and will take care of your house as my own. Besides, I am not a drinker and a smoker, but a follower who will try all my best to meet the landlord's requirements.
