I am clean and tidy. I always pull my weight with house work and pay my bills on time. I enjoy cooking, baking, craft projects, board games and curling up with a book and a cup of tea. I am often up for a chat but also like my privacy.
I am pretty chilled out, just moved to Canberra to do a Masters of Pharmacy from the Far South Coast. I will be studying and in my spare time trying out some activities like rock climbing or bike riding. I will also be making trips to the coast. I like to keep fit and healthy but also go out to catch up with friends.
Chloe is studying a bachelor of arts at ANU, majoring in human rights and international relations. Rania (in the picture) is studying psychology at uc. Our current lease ends on the 20th of March, so we're looking for 1-2 new housemates and a new home! We're looking for a tidy, left-leaning, vegan/vego friendly, student home within short driving distance from both unis. We're both respectful, friendly people, and excited to meet our new potential roomies:) - LGBTQI+ friendly
I am a quiet person. I don't go out much or have many people over. I am out of the house around 9-6 weekdays. Usually away every second weekend seeing family. I am pretty tidy. I don't leave dishes around the place or random bits and bobs.
I just arrived from Melbourne and studying at UC. I'm a quiet person but friendly for sure :]. I'm a Graphic Designer who was working in Melbourne for almost 2 years until moving to Canberra to continue my studying. I'm tidy and responsible for what I'm doing and It's good when we live with strangers. Not a party person who can dance all night along but sure that I can drink and enjoy with everyone. Very easy-going mindset and I respect everyone in their own living lifestyle. I'd love to hear from you :)
I think I'm a pretty considerate housemate! Easy going, clean, tidy and conscious of noise. I clean up after myself and am not a fan of clutter or things being left around the place unnecessarily. I keep busy with my hobbies which include photography, dancing, yoga, travel, walking my dog and bush walking. I'm always up for adventures and on weekends you'll find me out on my mountain bike, up early to watch the sunrise or swimming at Uriarra. I don't watch much TV as I prefer to be outdoors, but when the mood strikes, I can be found watching documentaries or the occasional trashy show on netflix as a way to chill out and switch off. I'm not into the party scence or have guests over very often as I like my space to be a place of refuge and zen, but will have the occasional night out with friends every now and again. I work full time in the public service and have been employed in the same department for the past 8 years which pays the bills, but my dream job would be a national geographic photographer travelling the world. I have a very affectionate staffy cross whom I rescued from the rspca. She's about 9yrs old and mostly sleeps all day. Non-destructive, doesn't bark or dig holes, and is both an inside and outside dog but happy to work around this if needs be. I'm looking for a place I can chill that's kept clean and tidy and have equally considerate housemates who are happy to have a drink and chat every now and again. Feel free to get in touch if you think we could live together.
I'm considerate and easygoing. I'm a grown-up and won't trash your place! I'm a good cook and people tell me I'm good company and a good conversationalist. I have a sense of humour :). I'm originally from the UK, but have lived and worked in several different countries, and I enjoy meeting different kinds of people and hearing about their lives. When I'm not working at the University of Canberra, I'm a musician (but I will go out to do that, as I play with singers and bands; I won't annoy you with noise at home).
Hi! I'm Vin, I work part time as a plant science technician at ANU, and as a swim teacher in the afternoons. When I'm not growing mutant plants or teaching kids how to swim, I like to kick back with a wine or cider and a good conversation or some Netflix. My passions include teaching, cooking, dancing and being active. I also enjoy playing board games, trying out new brunch spots on the weekends and going on hikes/picnics. I am a very tidy person and value cleanliness. I am quite social and easy going, but also appreciate my space and privacy sometimes. If this sounds like your ideal housemate, please get in touch and we can arrange to meet for a coffee!
Young American Couple moving to Canberra looking to rent a room near UC. Kris (26) has been accepted into a Doctoral program at UC studying ecology and evolution. Arriving in Canberra March 13th. Mallory (26) is a graphic designer at an advertising and consulting firm. Outgoing couple looking to start our next adventure. Hi! I'm Tomás from Chile and I will soon start my PhD in plant science at ANU. I want to live with someone who is easygoing, open-minded and keen on keeping his/her place clean and ordered. These are the basics, but I'd also like to call my flatmate a friend, so I can tell you I'm very passionate about how nature works, I love being outdoors, gardening, I like books and movies (a lot) and to share a nice conversation with a good beer/wine. Also I'm a good cook and I love to share that with others. At other times I like to keep to myself and study, read, write or play the classical guitar. I'd like to live in a place at cycling distance (<10 km) from ANU, and which I can call home. If you feel like we'd make a good match please don't hesitate to contact me for either joining your house or teaming up. I will be staying in Canberra from Feb 28th and will have a couple weeks to look for a more definitive place. Cheers!
I'm a 3rd year ANU student looking for a place for the next half year. I've lived in sharehouses before so I know what its like and what gets things going smoothly. I'm quite chill, up for a few drinks and a good chat if I haven't allowed myself to become swamped with work. I'm pretty independent, do my own cleaning and cooking. Love to try cooking up new things every once in a while. Pretty sporty, played basketball for ages but now getting into frisbee and gym too.
Hi, I'm Catherine. I'm starting a new public service job in Canberra in early Feb so I'm looking for a new home. I'm from Melbourne, and am planning on heading up to the ACT late Jan, but can be flexible and come earlier if that works too. I like the outdoors and the snow, bushwalking and running and I'm looking forward to exploring some of the cafes around Canberra. I'm fairly quiet these days, I don't drink, so I'm not looking for a party house. However, I'd love a chat and a coffee with my housemates. I love cats, so if you have one that's a plus!
I am a mature, but fun loving, working professional. A bit about me: I enjoy exercise and keeping fit/healthy, catching up with friends and when at home watching TV/movies. I’m quite independent and respect others personal space but equally enjoy a good chat. I’m house trained (clean) having lived in previous house shares
I am a university student in my final year of study at the ANU. I work part time in Belconnen so I am pretty busy throughout the week and on weekends I am usually stuck in the books with assignments and study. However, I try to still be a social person by getting outside and exercising or catching up with a few mates. I am a very tidy person and I am respectful of other peoples space and would expect that in return. I am looking to find some easy going people that don't mind having a beer in a place that is close to either work or uni. If you would like to know anything more about me just flick me a message. Cheers
International couple looking for a place to live for less than a year. Stephen is Canberra native and have two part time jobs and Liz is from Sweden on her second year work and holiday visa. We are a relaxed couple who like to keep to ourself but also are happy to socialise. Love to cook, watch movies and tv shows and hang with our dog, a Samoyed called Tali.
I'm a engineering graduate from Brisbane who's come down for a graduate position with the ADF. My hobbies include drinking beer, cooking a metric shit tonne of food and eating the same thing for a week and playing games, console, PC or tabletop I'm not picky. I'm a fan of Game of Thrones, Firefly and Westworld and read the occasional fantasy novel.
A fully furnished double size room with BIR in house in belconnen. Older style, cosy 4 bedroom house with 2 toilets and one bathroom. Relaxed, friendly, neat and tidy house. 180 per week or 210 for couple with shared bills. Possible option to extend.
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra from the US, and am looking to team up with some flatmates. I'm easy-going, active and would like to live with someone who'll hang out and have a beer every so often. I'm hoping to find a place with a garden or some area I can make into a garden. I don't have a preference at all for the region where we'd live, as long as it's within a 15-20 minutes drive from ANU.
I'm moving from Melbourne to Canberra in Feb 2018 for a Grad Program. I'm looking for shared accommodation in Belconnen or surrounding suburbs (within close proximity of public transport) in Feb. I enjoy binge watching tv shows and exploring new brunch spots! I’m a tidy person by nature, respectful of personal space and privacy but happy to socialise too!
I'm Dutch so I'm extremely averse to causing offense. I'm very clean and friendly to a fault, and always open for a movie night or group dinner (I'll clean the dishes unless you guys like pasta). In Australia for a year and decided to start off in Canberra, which isn't nearly as boring as everyone kept telling me 😀

Hi, I'm a PhD student at ANU University. I'm italian, I'm a funny person, I like to make friends and I'm a good cook (italian cuisine ;) ). I have several hobbies, for example I like listening to the music, reading, playing bass guitar (not in Australia, of course) and playing football with friends. I have been living with other flatmates for 6 years and rarely I fought with them. Actually we are still friends. I'm clean and polite. I'm looking for a long-stay as well as a temporary accomodation.
I am a 21 year old full time student studying social work at ACU. I work casually at a residential drug and alcohol rehab, and I would consider myself social but am understanding that everyone needs down time.
My name is Vivian Asikhia, 27 years old. I am a working professional in Finance. I will like a home to live in, i am respectful of privacy and space. Away from work , i like to unwind watching tv, visit family and i like a clean space.
We are brazilians arriving in Caberra on the beggining of March. I am 28 and my husband is 32. We both work with IT and we are coming to Australia to improve our english and to work. At the moment we are looking for a short term ensuite private room, preferably furnished.
Hi! I am currently working as a software engineer in the city, whilst undertaking a bit of study on the side. I tend to be fairly busy during the week but I love to socialise and would like to find a house in which the other housemates are friendly and happy to have a chat over a beer, cook a meal together or watch netflix. A house that is close to the main bus routes would also be preferable.
I'm studying part time at ANU, but have graduated from my degree in International Relations and am finishing off a diploma of Languages in Indonesian Studies. I work as a part time manager at a restaurant in Hackett and am President for the ACT chapter of the Australian Indonesian Youth Association. I love learning languages and exploring different cultures through that, I also majored in Arabic and Japanese and have studied in both Qatar and Indonesia. I would hope my career can help build understanding and stronger relations between Australia and our neighbours. A good kitchen is preferred because I love cooking and baking but not essential! Ideally I would like to live in a house that can have a dinner every couple of weeks, everyone feels comfortable checking in on how we are all doing but also aware that we may have times that we all need our own space sometimes and is respectful of that. Currently I'm in Sumatra on a DFAT program though but will return on the 10th to Australia so I won't be able to inspect in person before then. I get one of my friends to drop by though and would love to have a skype call to see if we would get along well together if the move in date is sooner. Hope to hear from you soon, Peter
