Hi there, I’m a 35 year old high school teacher with a 4 year old border collie. I live fairly quietly, love to walk, bike ride, do yoga, travel, eat simply & healthily and, when I have my own place, I love to potter in the garden. I keep my space clean and pick up after myself. My dog, Banjo, is well trained and exercised every day. I’m very good at keeping yards clean with a regular poo patrol and would really value living with/among folk who are relaxed with dogs & willing to give him the same boundaries that I do. Banjo has always been allowed to spend time inside with me and sleeps inside at night. He is left outside while I’m at work. If we sound like okay housemates to you, let me know and I’d love to pop by! Many thanks, Suzi
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into a two bedroom flat at the start of next year. I work at McDonald's Manuka (not glamorous, but it pays rent) and between that and studying I love to just chill out and read or watch Netflix. I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good yarn and watching TV or playing board games (though I'm not very good). I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. My budget is $200 a week (but less would be even better). Feel free to shoot me a message or text if you'd like to get to know me more before making the plunge! I'd prefer living with a friend anyway so we should get to know each other! :)
Hey there ! I’m Georgia, I’m an easy going, friendly and reliable gal ! I like playing sports , travelling, being outdoors, socialising and having a few wines but also am happy keeping to myself. I’m looking for people who are clean and tidy, easy to get along with and can have a few laughs!
Hi! I am moving to Canberra in May to start a new job in consulting. I am moving from North QLD so I'd love to find a room with some housemates where I am able to make friends and socialise. I am clean and quiet but happy to have a chat and hang out! Thanks (:
Hi there, i’m a calm going guy Who works in government IT, spends time at work, have dinner at home watch a movie or talk to friends over the phone and go out to see friends or places on weekends.
Hi, I'm Jayden. I'm a carpenter and i work long hours and play videogames or go to the gym in my spare time. In winter i make regular trips to the snow. I'm looking for a place that won't affect security clearances. Preferably a master bedroom
I'm friendly, clean, neat, sociable and respectful of the privacy of others. I've lived in flat/house shares for a few years now and I am now a fully "trained" housemate. I'm working part-time as a therapist and relatively new to Canberra. I have an assistance dog who is ridiculously well behaved. At times, I work from home auditing cases. Please note: I'm only looking to rent as a co-tenant or as a head tenant. I'd be willing to discuss all agreements upfront, even an occupancy agreement with the proviso that I be given a 4 to 6 weeks notice period. Hey guys, the rental market is brutal out there! I'd love to hear from you. In my spare time, I paint and have an active social life on weekends. I tend to go for hikes with my dog, visit friends and I am involved in many side projects that keep me busy. I tend to watch too much TV and Netflix too. I'm looking for a long term stay.
I currently work as a graduate consultant for a private IT company here in Canberra. In my own time I'm a big musician, who specializes in music production. I enjoy graphic and interior design, collecting vinyl records, and meeting new people. I was born and raised in Canberra, and have lived here for the past 19 years. I'm also a uni student, currently aiming for a double degree in IT and Music. My partner Finn & I have been together for almost a year now. Finn is a trans man from Nowra, NSW, and has been living with me in Canberra for about 3 or 4 months. He is currently studying at CIT enrolled in the childcare course. Finn has a large interest in interior decor, the arts, and gardening. He is a very sweet and extroverted person who is always happy to make new friends.
I am a 25 year old female who is looking for a place to stay long term. I am currently working 4 days a week and studying 1 day a week. I work and study on the North side and am hoping to be closer to both locations. I am clean, respectful and give people their own space, however, I am also happy to have a chat and watch a movie! I am an active person who likes to exercise and volunteer in my spare time.
Hey I am from the Philippines but i've been working in Australia for almost 2 yrs now. I am a chef based in Adelaide and was recently assigned in Canberra (Woden to be specific) for work. Interests are food, music, movies, little bit of working out. I am looking for a room to rent in Canberra around 2nd week of april, I am bringing my car with me so a parking spot would be needed. I am a easy going person who loves to hang out with friends whenever I have free time but I also value my own private time. I love to cook during my rest day fron work and I really value cleanliness around the house. Cheers!
It is a nice and spacious house, close to Belconnen Mall, Belco Markets, Jamison Shops, and the Uni of Canberra. The house has 2 cooking stoves areas, 1 gas, and 1 electric. The house has ducted cooling, so in hot weather, the house stays nice and cool. The bedroom for rent is large with lots of cupboard space. I like the house to be kept clean, so a roster is set up for cleaning. It is essential that the future flatmate is clean and respects the privacy of the other people in the house. The No.40 bus is the nearest, although a slightly longer walk will get you to Belconnen Mall and more buses to choose from.
I'm a Yoga teacher, dancer, photographer, nature-lover. I'm very tidy, thoughtful and responsible. I am independent with a full life, but I also enjoy the buzz and colour of communal living with good-hearted and gentle people. I like to live in places with beautiful light and near to nature.
I’m looking to move from Tasmania to study Nursing. I enjoy my own company but would love to also be able to socialise with my room mates. I’m looking for a room preferably with my own bathroom but not necessary or a place to my self. I’m officially needing somewhere to live as of the 1st of June!
I work in Canberra during the week in a professional role (usually staying 4-5 nights per week and I am looking to share a 2 bed 2 bath 2 car space apartment in the city or close suburbs with one other person (no couples). Prefer to share with a non smoker, professional person.
I am currently in my last year of study. I will be a primary school teacher by the end of the year!!! I love both quiet nights and having drinks with some friends. I have lived in Canberra for most of my lif and ready for some more independence now!!!
I'm very easy going, considerate to live with and enjoy chilling at home or seeing friends outside of work which I do full-time in the APS. I do have an indoor trained cat that I would love to bring with me! Looking for a flexible person/s to live with who enjoys a chat or to just relax watching movies.
Hi all. I'm a student at the University of Canberra studying sports science. Also a rower with the ACT academy of sport which takes up most of my time. I am clean, tidy and to bed early. Looking for a place around $150 anywhere between or surrounding Lake Burley Griffin and the AIS. Cheers!
A fully furnished double size room with BIR in house in belconnen. Older style, cosy 4 bedroom house with 2 toilets and one bathroom. Relaxed, friendly, neat and tidy house. 175 per week or 200 for couple with shared bills. Possible option to extend.
I'm looking to share my home with someone. (NOTE: the photos are from the real estate agent and I will be furnishing it differently). It's a lovely open home with plenty of space, a nice backyard, and a double garage for both our cars. I'm looking to fill Bedroom 2 on the floorplan-and keep 3 as either a spare or a study. So you'll have the bathroom to yourself!. I'm moving in on May 28 and looking to get someone in anytime after that. I should have all the essentials set up right away and may need a week or two to fully fit out the home. The home has air con, a new oven and stove, and plenty of room to chill out or entertain. I'm not in a rush to get someone in so happy to meet people and show them through once I've moved in.
The property is fairly new. It offers a free gym, pool, sauna, barbecue area and a lovely courtyard. Most utilities like a fridge, microwave etc will be provided. The building is about a 5 min walk from Westfields, Ginninderra Lake and the main Belconnen bus stop. Your room will have a large wardrobe for all your clothes and a window that outlooks onto the courtyard. Available from mid-July .. if you would like to move in before then, you might have to share a few things with an extra housemate. And of course, we'll adjust your rent accordingly.
Professional working full time in the public service for about 10 years. Easy going and open minded. Prefer somewhere that is on the 'clean and tidy side of normal'. Mostly keep to myself but happy to socialise, chat, or game and share some meals and drinks together.
Looking for some lovely people to live with, either an existing share house or starting one up! I have a cat, Bobby, who is very polite and adorable. He wears a cat scrunchie (look them up!) which means he co-exits nicely with local bird populations. Ideally Bobby will move in with me.
Hi, I'm Otilija:) I work part time in hospitality and love art and music. I'm originally from Canberra but moved around a bit and only recently came back. I'm clean and social but also like my own space. My friend and I are looking to move out of our current place ASAP so we're pretty much cool with anyone so long as you're nice and not a slob:)
I'm a recent university grad and started working full time in Feb. I enjoy reading, watching movies, tv etc in my spare time, and like to run to keep fit. I'm from Canberra with some close friends living in the area, and enjoy going out for drinks/food, going to the movies, playing minigolf etc and just generally hanging out.
