we are looking for ONLY a girl to share a room with another girl, the apartment is just for three girls, we are very clean and friendly flatmates. The apartment is 15 min walk from Macquarie shopping center, Macquarie Universidad and Macquarie Park station. All bills are included, It's perfect to someone who study or work in this area, and also there is a bus stop just in front to the building, with buses 292( City- Marsfield) and 259 ( chatswood- Macquarie).
I'm looking for a small self-contained studio/granny flat or similar to move into in early-mid August. I'm flexible location-wise, but ideally the place should be close to Macquarie University. I do have a car so if the place comes with a garage or other dedicated parking that'd be a plus. Non-smoking environment strongly preferred. About me: I work as a researcher and teaching assistant at Macquarie University. Easy-going and tidy. Can provide references from previous flatmates and/or landlords. If there's anything else you'd like to know feel free to shoot me a message!
Hi, my name is Bridget! I'm going to be moving to Sydney for 3 months (mid-November 2019 to mid-February 2020) to complete an internship with a medical engineering company. During this time I will be working full-time, and I don't know many people in Sydney so it would be great to share a place with somebody friendly! I'm looking to find a furnished bedroom (literally all I need is a bed) for three months, preferably on the north/north-west side of Sydney.
Relocating from Adelaide to study. I like to keep things clean, I'll be starting my Masters so I will be pretty busy weekdays but am also social and like to have a few wines here or there :)
Hi, I'm Michael! I'm an advertising analyst Mon-Fri and every second Sun and I'm currently looking for a second job to help supplement my savings and stop Sydney rent from killing me! Basically looking for anywhere in Sydney close to a train station, as I work in Macquarie Park and have been dealing with getting there from Revesby so anywhere's better really! I am applying for my Irish citizenship/passport very soon so am hoping to save up as much money as I can and move to England before I turn 25 in May next year (so not looking for 12 month stay) plus a few short cheeky holidays along the way :) (planning Chile atm) I love music and singing in the shower is one of my favourite pastimes so any musicians would be sick as I love a jam but definitely not required. I generally spend my weeknights watching Netflix, playing games and planning holidays as I am pretty dead after work (hopefully this will change living closer!) but enjoy socializing and hanging with my mates on weekends. I’m hoping to find roommates who I can actually consider as mates and have a bit of banter and sing our favourite songs together after a few bevs every now and then but of course I respect everyone’s need for privacy and space and would hope my roommates would be the same as I do love retreating into my room :) Also trying to get back on the weight-loss train so a gym buddy would be sweet too
Easy going. Clean and tidy. Busy lifestyle. Have a Golden Retriever named Indi, who has been crate trained (easily contained when necessary) and in well trained in general as we have a family member who has been a dog handler for 30+yrs.
Postgraduate Student from Bangladesh, previously lived in the UK, Canada & USA; and this time I'm looking forward to my time in Australia. I'm looking for a private room to rent near Macquarie University. Potentially it could be a room in a shared house/apartment with ensuite or shared bathrooms. I'm usually quiet, chilled-out, and clean; like to enjoy a good conversation, culture, different cuisine and music. Enjoy traveling, photography, cooking, occasional drinks, art and socialising.
I am a very friendly person. I do love to cook and irrefutably a good one. As i have traveled to a lot of places, i have met a lot of different people from different nationalities. So it will be easier for me to cope up with different situations.
Hi there! I’m making the move from Brisbane for work in Sydney in August! I am currently overseas so I apologise if I respond to messages at weird hours. I will be moving down when I get back, so would be happy to do a virtual tour of the room if this suits you! I am looking forward to meeting some new housemates who I hope will become mates but also respect that everyone needs their own time/space. In my spare time, I like to get out and explore as well as keep fit.
Hi everyone! I'm a university student currently undertaking a Bachelor of Commerce at UNSW. As a part of this degree I will be working full-time at my upcoming 3rd internship. As it's located in Macquarie Park I'm looking to move closer to work to make life a bit easier. I'm looking to rent anytime from 22nd July for a minimum of 6 months. Those things aside, I'm a super friendly, light-hearted and laxed person. I do like my quiet time but always up for a good chat and laugh. I'm also a fairly active person so in my spare time I'm a big fan of boxing and hiking/scenic walking.
I'm working as a full-time engineer in a medical devices company in Macquarie Park / Lane Cove. Ideally, I'm looking for a place that's within walking distance to a train station, or near the shoreline / riverbanks. Preferably with off-street covered parking. Bonus if I could have my own bathroom. I am originally from the Philippines and moved to Sydney in 2012. I'm into various sports (sabre fencing, indoor climbing, squash, badminton, running). I also enjoy food trips, occasional traveling, and learning foreign languages (Chinese, Japanese, Malay). On idle times, I'm usually staying indoors listening to Freakonomics podcasts, Spotify's Chill Hits, or watching movies and TV series (HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, House, Criminal Minds). 😊 I'm very neat and tidy. I don't smoke. I rarely drink (like once or twice a year) and I'm not a party / clubbing person. I like milk tea with pearls. 👤
