It is a well furnished house in a quiet court location only a short five minute stroll to the Sale CBD. The kitchen is large and roomy with all cooking facilities supplied, with 2 fridges and a large chest freezer. A gas heater keeps the house nice and cozy. All rooms have built in robes with key locked doors. Both entrances have security doors, and security lighting is provided outside. There is a nice private and secure back yard to unwind in, with a large lock up garage to store any extra luggage if you wish. All we ask is that everyone respects each other’s privacy, and everyone follows a roster to keep the house clean and tidy.
It is located at a very quiet street and surrounded by a beautiful garden. It only takes five minutes walk to the main shopping centre and train station, so you don’t need the spend the money on your fuel. Hi, I'm Ian. I am looking for some people to team up with to start a share house. About me: I have just started a new job as a senior engineer in a large local industry. I live on the Mornington Peninsula, which is about a 2 hour drive away, so I am looking for somewhere to stay a few nights a week, and the occasional weekend depending on duty rosters/other issues at work, to minimize the commuting time. I am happily married, with teenage children in high school. So, why team up with me? Well, I am a senior engineer in a large company, so you know I will always be good for my share of the bills. I am neat and tidy, and clean up after myself. I can fix most things around the house. I can cook reasonably well (even better that toast and ice cubes... :-) ) I won't be around all that much - I work reasonably long hours, and try to spend some time in the gym either before or after work, and thus wont take up much space in the house. I am usually out of the house quite early. I am quite partial to a beer or a glass of wine, although I don't often drink during the week. I am a member of a wine club, so I will bring the occasional good bottle to share. I don't smoke (never have), so there would be no smoking in the house. Drugs are bad, m'kaay? I have a good sense of humour, and very much follow the "live and let live"' philosophy. I don't really care what age, what gender, what orientation, what colour, what religion, what philosophy (except I will draw the line at neo-nazi and the like), provided you have basic human morality, pay your bills, bathe regularly and can clean up after yourself, we will get along just peachy. I like both dogs and cats, so provided they are permitted I am good with that (in fact, you should be prepared for them to be spoiled...) My preferred location is Traralgon, as it is closer to the gym, and means a bit less driving. But happy to consider other locations if they suit. One final point: If you are a student, I am an engineer, so I am quite good at maths. Also, I have written some large industrial tenders, so I am really good at proof reading documents (such as essays :-) ). Handy skills for a student to have available I am happy to chase around after the real estate agents to find a suitable house, and also chase the utilities/internet etc. So, if you have got this far, well done! Hi, This is a 4 bedroom house, with built in robes in the bedrooms. A functional kitchen, with a smallish adjacent dining area, gas cooking, nice big lounge, ducted heating, air conditioning, . The bathroom has a shower over the bath, and a toilet. There is a second toilet. There is an adjoining door between two of the bedrooms. This is lockable, but if you wanted to spread out a bit.... The bedrooms are quite a good size. There is a fairly new, big double garage, which has the laundry in it. There is also a garden shed. The yard is a good size. Rent is $80/week for an unfurnished room, with utilities and internet on top of that. The photos have been "borrowed" from a real estate site - the lease has just been approved, and there is no furniture in the house as yet. The house will be available from 4th Feb. Pets will need approval from the landlord, but I don't think there will be too many problems there. The yard is well fenced and secure.
My home is a very comfortable and relaxing place to be. The street that I live in is a very quiet and friendly one, that is a hop skip and jump in walking distance to the town centre. Internet access is included (not for downloading purposes though), there is central heating throughout the home and a split system air conditioner (lounge room). There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms. I have apple TV and Netflix as well as, which you are welcome to use. I have a large outdoor deck that is undercover, which my dog takes over at night time for sleeping. However it is a beautiful spot to sit outside in the afternoon and do some work / relax on. I have a fully enclosed yard and neighbours who keep to themselves.
The room available for rent comfortably fits a queen bed, desk, wardrobe etc. The house is fully furnished except the spare room so you will need your own bed etc. The house is in a quiet street but is only a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Weekly rent includes wifi, foxtel and a fortnightly cleaner. The rest of the bills are split three ways.
