I am Masters student, respectful and honest. I would like to find a place that I feel like my home. I am very busy during the week between job and University. I am not a party animal but I like to share with my flatmates now and then a glass of wine.
We have been together for 2 years and looking to get a place closer to our jobs. I Sidney work in Ormond as a Veterinary Nurse and do lots of pet sitting jobs as well, my partner Daniel is a carpenter working towards the city. We own two lorikeets, who are super friendly, tame and will brighten up your day. I occasionally bring wildlife rescues home such a baby Ring-tail possums, so we would love to live with people or a person who likes animals as well. We like to camp, travel, love our animals and are very easy going. We would like to live with someone who likes to socialise as well as respects our privacy. We are clean and pay rent on time, we will have plenty of money as we are looking for something cheap so that we can get ahead. If you have a house you would like to share or privately rent, please contact us we are super keen to move in together after my next 6 week pet-sitting job that ends on the date stated that we would like to move. We hope to hear from you soon!
I'm a respectful and tidy undergraduate student. I work part-time and spend the rest of the working week concentrating on squeezing the juice out of my studies. When I'm not studying I like to get out for a run, swim or a round of golf and catch up with mates.
Ahoy, I'm Ollie. A relaxed, employed 29 year old, and part-time psychology student. A bit of an ambivert, I comfortably flow between socialisation and independently pursuing my own curiosities included, but not limited to learning Sitar, an array of little projects, and plenty of cooking (if only to keep ample hummus abound). I could bring to a house a lush tea and spice assortment, a decent sound system (don't worry, I have headphones), solid computer know-how, a washing machine, and a presence that is well honed in the art of taking care of oneself and being a conscientious housemate. I've run share-houses before and can summon references from both landlords and former housemates if need be. All said, hopefully I'll hear from you soon. Best of luck, Ollie.
I am looking for a room somewhere in Melbourne's inner east preferably close to the bay. Kitesurfing is my main hobby, I spend allot of time bayside so I would like to be reasonably close. I ride my bike to work everyday, enjoy the outdoors and generally keeping fit. It not necessary but It would be perfect if I could find a place with some facilities like a pool/gym etc... The home and people are more a focus for me than the suburb. I am open to any suburb in this area. I am originally from New Zealand I have been in Australia for around 15 years, 12 in Sydney and 3 in Melbourne. After spending 9 years in the snow ski industry I now work in the IT industry as an analyst/programmer so I like to be active in the w-ends. I enjoy kitesurfing, biking, technology, travelling, food (especially Asian), socializing/eating out, skiing, most sport and just about anything that is fun. I am very easy going, consider myself clean and tidy and are very respectful of other people and their space. I am an animal lover so don't mind any household pets especially dogs. I look forward chatting and hopefully to coming and meeting you!
Hi! I'm super easy-going, tidy and very clean, and financially reliable. I'm a paramedic, so you won't have to suffer my company too often with all the shift work :P I like to keep healthy and fit (housemates are welcome to join in for workouts! Haha) and I love to cook. I play jazz trumpet and I do occasional painting. I'm outdoorsy - enjoy regular camping and hiking. I do have two mostly indoor Bengal cats (both~2yo, and hypo-allergenic) who are freaking adorable. I would ideally prefer to live with other cat-lovers, it makes life much easier. Please know I am a very responsible pet owner, but the occasional help of cat-feeding would be appreciated what with night shifts etc. I'd love to be able to make a friend out of my prospective housemate(s), but I understand everyone needs their space of course. That's me :)
In my mid twenties, professional (EA) studying part time; in my final years of my Bachelor of Commerce, I live a healthy lifestyle - enjoy going to the gym etc. also very munch enjoy a wine, having a laugh and the occasional night out that escalates into the dreaded Sunday/Monday..Tuesday.. hangover! I'm very relaxed, clean and tidy and have lived with friends for over five years now. Looking for a place, ideally in Hawthorn, Kew, Richmond or close too....
I am an easy going, friendly, 23 year old Melbourne girl. I work full time as a primary school teacher in the eastern suburbs. Have lived out of home for a year now and loving it! Enjoy cooking, having a wine and catching up with friends :)
I'm James, a 25 yr old kiwi working in advertising. I have been in Melbourne almost a year and am looking for a quiet and sunny room in a central suburb and some cool people to live with. I'm a laid back, social guy who appreciates things to be clean and tidy, but I'm always up for having friends over for a few drinks during the weekend. I work in advertising, so if I'm busy you may not see me for a couple of days, but at the end of the week I'll be craving a few drinks and a good laugh. I enjoy eating out and going to gigs, as well as making the effort to squeeze the odd run in too. As a kiwi, my footy knowledge is slowing developing, so I'll be making an effort to attend a few games this season. Can cook, and happy to share meals if you are too.
Hey there! My name is Sophie, I'm 28 and moved here to Melbourne in February from NZ. I am a graphic designer currently in the process of job hunting for nice and tidy place! I have savings to pay for rent etc until I get a job. Happy to pay rent in advance with bond. Rent and bills have always been a priority to me, they come first before anything and I have never missed a rent payment or bill in my life. I enjoy exploring the city, a drink or two and eating! I also enjoy quiet nights in and relaxing. Love music, finding rooftop bars and I love to cook too (amazing kitchens are a seller for me!) but I still appreciate Uber Eats! I'm really easy to get along with, very tidy and always clean up after myself - one of those clean as you go people! I want to live in a home where everyone takes pride in how the place looks. I am available to move in as soon as possible and happy to discuss length of stay. I am a very happy person and looking forward to making new friends along the way! I promise you won't regret living with me!
Hi, I'm Joel. I'm in my final semester of uni currently working part time as a civil engineer, but will be transitioning to full time in a couple of months. I'm looking for a place fairly close to the city with easy access to the Monash Freeway and somewhere to park my car, ideally with people who keep a pretty normal schedule. I consider myself to be someone who is well mannered and relatively tidy, and I wouldn't say no to a glass of wine or a bit of a yarn after work. With that being said, I am definitely the kind of person who also needs a bit of alone time, usually with a book. In my spare time I enjoy going to gigs or just to the pub. Feel free to get in contact.
I am a mature woman, a young widow unfortunately, who moved from Mosman in Sydney to Melbourne 2 months ago and I have been invited to stay with old friends on their farm near Berwick until I find a place of my own, which is so kind of them. I have an adopted young kitten/cat of 11 months, Miss Ellery, who was a rescue from the RSPCA in Sydney, and we both come with excellent references from Ray White! I am a quiet person, I like my space and because I have no children or family here in Oz, I would never impose a lot of visitors at any time on my flatmates. I had my own business for many years, I keep a clean and tidy home, and I am a lover of Nature and my diet has been vegetarian for over 25 years, and recently, about 5 years ago, I have become more vegan in my food choices. I am also fond of all animals, large and small and I volunteered in an animal shelter in Ingleside, Sydney for three years. I like social interaction intermittently and I am a native French speaker and my professional work now is mainly my acting work in Melbourne where my new Agent has his offices. When my husband died I decided to return to University to complete a four year Bachelor of Laws and I have two more years to go, so I do need digs where I can be comfortably ensconced and secure in a quiet environment where the owner or other flatmate is not there during the weekdays. As I have been a home owner several times in my life, I would look after a property as if it were my OWN and people always tell me that I leave a place much nicer and cleaner than how I found it originally! Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Hi, I'm coming to Melbourne beginning of June, and I am looking for a flat to share with other nice people. I am French but I live in London at the moment. I think I'm easy going, tidy, quite (most of the time, but I love laughing).
I am a Taiwanese-born medical school graduate who intends on preparing for Medical licensing in Melbourne. I am neat, organized and doesn't drink or smoke.
I'm a 24yo health professional who is moving to Melbourne at the end of April for a job at a Hospital. I am a very active and social person. I enjoy swimming, cycling and running. Then I also really enjoy going out for dinner / drinks when I can. I am also studying part time (in my spare time). I have been living in Cairns for the past 2 years, but am originally from Perth. So looking for people who can give me pro-tips on Melbourne life! Looking for a sociable household to move into, where people hangout when they're around and then also respect each others space too.
Hi there, my name’s Angie. I'm 25, working full time, and looking to move closer to work. I’m a high school teacher, so I promise we'll never run out of stationery (I hope you like stickers!). I'm very sociable, but also value my personal space and time, and ideally, I’d like to live with someone who feels the same, but would be up for the occasional coffee or Netflix binge with wine. I am a self confessed nerd, and love movies, books and games, I come with a PlayStation, and maybe a few board games. I am not opposed to pets and especially love cats. I'm a non-smoker, and I train at a gym about 5 times a week. Please feel free to message me if you think we’d get along!
Hey future flatmate! I am an exchange architecture undergrad student at Monash Uni from Israel. I am a very clean, organized and responsible person. I really enjoy cooking (ask my friends, they'll say it's even tasty) and I'd love to have a good social night out with friends, drinking beer and grabbing a bite. I also like to have a good mind-clearing run, a hike in a new environment, and appreciate most types of music for all kind of moods. I'm looking for a furnished bedroom for myself, preffered with a private bathroom, to spend around 3-4 months here.
I'm Haley. Currently I am working full time as a Personal Assistant. I'm 23 years old and I'm looking for a place to call home. I work from 8-6 everyday and have weekends off. On my weekends I try and hang out outdoors. I will either be exercising, at the markets, cooking, catching up with girlfriends or just relaxing at home. I also have family and friends in Bendigo as I am originally from there so I travel home quite a bit. I am relatively quiet, very easy going, relaxed, respectful and clean. Living in a clean and tidy house is really important to me so I would like to live with someone who has the same mindset, please do not contact me if you cannot put your dishes away and leave your stuff lying around the house. I am looking for a flatmate that I can become friends with and share the occasional dinner/brunch and a laugh, but also someone that likes their own space and independance. At this stage I am looking for a place for about 6 months but if I can find a place that feels like home I will stay for longer if possible.
Hey, I'm Sven from Bavaria, Germany, and I’ve been offered the opportunity to work on a research project at Monash University School of Chemistry, Campus Clayton. My stay will be from 1. Mai to 4. September. I would describe myself as an open-minded, enthusiastic, joyful and active student. When I’m not at university, I spend my free time on working in associations, supporting refugees in German cultural integration or organizing events for Christian Union at university. Moreover, I like to do sports particularly with friends, e.g. table tennis, swimming, squash or hiking. It would be fantastic to share a flat with some locals since I love to learn more about Australian culture and having a good time during cooking, sports or discussions. I could also provide you with some German-Bavarian Culture and dishes ;). A personal highlight and aim of my stay is to get involved in Aussie Rules culture, so If you could teach me rules or even go out and train together, it would be awesome :) . Concerning some organizational details, I’ve considered living in a reachable periphery to the School of Chemistry and paying around ~190 AUD/week (negotiable). I’m looking forward to hearing from you and I could also provide more information or we arrange an interview on skype, if you like. Best regards and greetings from Germany Sven
I'm Tom. I'm almost 25 (quarter of a life...oh no, it's almost over!) and looking for a new place to call home with a nice, likeminded cohabiter. I work full time in Hawthorn East and am on the lookout for a place. Hawthorn, Malvern, Burnley, Camberwell, South Yarra or Toorak would be great for public transport reasons, but anywhere with a train line that connects to (and not too many stops from...) Richmond or the CBD would also be good. Ideally, I'd live within walking distance to to these train stops: Kooyong, Tooronga, Heyington, Burnely, or Camberwell (or 72 tram line). But again, any train stop on a line that connects to Richmond/CBD is equally great. You'll find me sipping tea of an evening and going for a bushwalk or some kind of adventure on the weekend. I'm a quiet but sociable guy. I'd like my new home to be one that is really comfortable, where I get along well with the people I live with and look forward to coming home after work, or relaxing one day on the weekend...for it to be more of a home rather than a transaction just paying rent (of course, it's very important to pay rent!). I enjoy a clean and positive environment with mutual respect. I'd love to chat if you think we'd make great flatmates :) Tom
Hello, potential future housemates! :) I'm Helena, a relaxed, employed 23 year old, who is also studying commerce. I like to keep things organised and clean and im very much an independent person, i like going out and being around people, but im definitely down for a quiet night in more often then not. I'm just looking for a place to call home.
Hi I am looking for a pretty fun, chilled and easy going sharehouse with one to two people who are looking to team up to find a place around the chadstone, camberwell, bentleigh or brighton area. If anyone has any rooms available in these areas please send me a message. About me: I am a young professional working in retail store management full time. I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed and friendly type of person who is neat and tidy and always happy to help complete jobs around the place, be supportive of my flatmates, be respectful of everyone, enjoys a good chat and happy to cook and share a meal with my housemates and don't mind staying in and having some quiet drinks with friends. I like pets, going to gym when I can and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, please send me a message if your interested!
