Hey guys! My name's Alexis and I'm currently in Japan working as a guesthouse cleaner! But I'm returning to Aus at the beginning of March and looking for a new home! About me: 21, Deakin student, loves playing acoustic guitar, reading and bushwalking. I've been living out of home for close to two years so experienced in share house environments and always pay my rent on time! What I can offer: I've been cleaning in Japan so I know how to be neat and additionally, I'm flexible with length of stay. Can make you a great cuppa if you feel like a chat but also know when to give others space ^____^ Send me a message if you have any other questions! More than happy to have a chat! -Alexis ^___^
Hiya I'm a gal from England currently on exchange for a year studying at Monash university. I've been here for one semester where I stayed at halls but am looking to move into the city to be closer to shops and bars. I'm really sociable and love going out for drinks and meals but my days will mostly be spent at uni and studying. I'm clean and am more then happy to share cleaning responsibilities around the place :)
Hi there! My name is Matiss. I am a Latvian post-grad exchange student at the University of Monash for 1 semester (till July), and I am looking for a private room to lay my head in peace while I am not at the university. I’m a pretty social, open minded and easy going person who always cleans up after himself. In my free time, I am kind of active (after I finish my assignments for studies) and love trying new sports/hobbies. Some of my favourites are beach volleyball / wakeboarding / kite surfing. Been playing tennis for 15+ years, and co-organizing weekly beach volleyball tournaments for amateurs and enthusiast in Latvia.
Hello! :) I am looking for a large furnished room for myself, My bunny and my kitten ! Happy to negotiate with rent. I'm down to earth easy going girl, I'm a very clean girl and I'd only feel comfortable in a clean house. I am very respectful of others privacy and comfort. I don't party and I don't have people over, I'd like to live in a non party environment. I don't drink or do drugs or smoke, maybe if you're having a beer I'll have one with you but overall I like to look after my health and the smell of smoke is a pet hate of mine. I am looking for a long term arrangement now that I am working here and enrolling into my second degree. I 100% need wifi. Hope to hear from you asap! I am free for inspections this week before I go to visit family next week till the 17th. Thank you!
Hi I moved from Perth to Melbourne on the 17th of February. I got a job persueing an advancement in my career. I'm a kind and considerate person and in general a happy person that smiles a lot and makes quirky little jokes. I'm accomodating to others and have respect for their belongings. Looking for some outgoing people, yet people that can value some quiet time as well. I'll be working hard, and will also be looking at studying business managment and marketing. I love my live music, and a beer to go with it (it's good thing I moved to Melb's) Hoping Melbourne's comedy and improve scene will have something to offer. As I settle in, most likely will be looking at playing some sports and/or joining a gym. For the most part, I like exploring new things, places and having a drink whilst doing so. I have a pretty laid back approach when it comes to my social life, a spontaneous happy go lucky outlook really. I do the chores and keep things tidy as I go. I've lived with a couple previously, then lived on my own. So to sum it up, just some fun, friendly people that will make my Melbourne experience a welcome one 😊
Im 24, i work full time in interior design and i am also doing my last semester of my Masters. The last two years ive been living with a family in Camberwell working as a PA and a nanny for a single mum and her daughter, so im super used to living in someone elses house, and being clean and respectful, and im used to being extremely responsible. I loved the experience but i really want my own space! I really want to live somewhere thats quiet, calm and clean...as ive been living with a 7 year old for over two years now! Im really busy on the weekends at athletics competitions and other stuff. I also train for athletics full time. I'm pretty busy! I am originally from the US so i have a funny mixed up accent. I might also be keen on making up a new apartment with one or two other people?! I dont have alot of "stuff", so i don't want to live somewhere crammed with clutter!

Easy going, mature, respectful I am very independent and tidy. Happy to socialise, however I an spend a lot of time out as I enjoy the outdoors and keeping fit, walking as I have a very friendly social small dog who is very happy to chill with others or run around in the park. Not wanting a party house as I like my home to be peaceful and somewhere to relax. Enjoy watching movies and also cooking glass of wine when I have time.
I am looking for a room somewhere in Melbourne's inner east. I work in Hawthorn east and spend a fair amount of time going to the bay kitesurfing in the weekends so somewhere in between is perfect. I ride my bike to work everyday so I dont want to be to close to Hawthorn east as I enjoy a decent ride, also biking is part of keeping fit which is important to me. The house and people are more a focus for me than the suburb. I am open to any suburb in this area. I am 44, originally from New Zealand I have been in Australia for around 15 years, 12 in Sydney and 3 in Melbourne. After 9 years in the snow ski industry I now work in the IT industry as an analyst/programmer so I like to be active in the w-ends. Kitesurfing is my main hobby. I also like biking, technology, travelling, food (especially Asian), socializing/eating out, sport and just about anything that is fun. I am very easy going, consider myself clean and tidy and are very respectful of other people and their space. I am an animal lover so don't mind any household pets especially dogs. I look forward chatting and hopefully to coming and meeting you!

I am a 25 year old New Zealander living in Melbourne working at Monash University. I am a biologist with an interest in mosquitoes! I thrive on outdoor adventures (rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking, yoga). Meeting new people is something I really enjoy doing and have been described as very easy going, caring and courteous by my friends. I am courteous and respectful of people's space and time. I strongly believe in creating a positive atmosphere in which people are free to express themselves in doing so we can learn and share from one another. Living In communal settings I know the importance of having a clean and tidy environment, of which I endeavor to uphold. I can also make a legendary butter chicken dish! :)

Hi, we are a German couple. We want to find a long term accomodation as we are planning to stay three to four years in Melbourne. We both have been living in shared flats for many years and are looking for a relaxed rather than a party place. Let me write a bit about us so you get a first impression. We both have studied in the beautiful little town of Heidelberg in the South West of Germany and have been a couple since 2010. We decided to go to Australia a year ago and Andrea found a job as a postdoctoral researcher at Monash University in Clayton. Before her job starts in March we took the opportunity to travel throughout New Zealand. Now the real adventure begins, we have to find a place to live and get settled into our new lives. We both enjoy nature, outdoors and like to go for walks or day hikes. We cook a lot and like to invite friends for dinner every once in a while. Arne: I have studied cultural anthropology, political science and psychology. I like to travel and I have seen my share of the world: I was one of the countless backpackers in Oz after my civil service in 2005. Later I went to Chile for an exchange year. The university there was not so good, so I rather started travelling throughout Latin America from Fireland to Mexico. I took my time to finish my studies and read some more interesting books about world history, philosophy and the global financial system. After university I tried to get a job in an IT company and was more than surprised when they actually hired me. I did a crash course in IT & project management and really liked it. In 2014 my company sent me to work for one of the big banks in Zurich, Switzerland, and I have stayed there until moving to Melbourne. Once we are settled in I will start looking for an IT job again. I have been playing indoor volleyball for my entire life and want to join a team again. But let's find a new home first... Andrea: I grew up in a German city close to the Dutch border and did my bachelor in Nijmegen. I moved to Heidelberg for my master in molecular biology and to Uppsala, Sweden, for an exchange semestre. I got my PhD in 2015. I had a great Ultimate Frisbee team in Heidelberg and am really looking forward to join one in Melbourne. So please let us know if you think we would fit in. Happy to come over to get to know eatch other in person.
