There are bus stops literally less than 1 minute walk away and within 5 min walk to aldi, woolworths and coles! 10 min walk to Pako. The large, furnished room I have on offer is in a 3 bedroom renovated Californian Bungalow with a decent sized yard. In a nice neighbourhood. The house has ducted heating, a split system air conditioner, and new wood heater! Wi-Fi also available and included in weekly cost.
Two girls looking for another two people to join them moving into a house! We're flexible on move dates around mid November-mid december We are both fun, social, tidy people who enjoy each other’s company but also respect privacy. Looking for like minded people. We enjoy going out and having a drink but also enjoy quiet nights at home binging Netflix and cooking together or heading down the beach! We both have years of experience in share housing situations so understand the importance of shared responsibilities and always pay on time! Claire is currently studying psychology at Deakin and working part-time and Hannah works full time in allied health. If we sound like a match for you please swing us a message 🤗 Males, females and couples welcome! Would prefer to live with people in their 20’s.
The house is in a fantastic location, close to Geelong CBD and within walking distance of Newtown woolworths, the Great Western Pub and other shops. The area is really quiet and private, despite being close to Aberdeen street/Shannon Avenue. It's a five minute drive to the ring road too so great if you're commuting. The house has been recently updated with new appliances (including a dishwasher). It is pretty much fully furnished, you'll only need to bring furniture for you bedroom. You'll have the main bathroom to yourself which even has a bath! The house has lots of storage and cupboard space. There is central heating and a cooling system in the lounge . The house retains cool and heat making it really comfortable over both winter and summer. There is fast unlimited internet too! Rent is $825.50 per cal month which works out to be roughly $192 per week. Bills and internet is additional. Bond is $950
I am very much a people person but I also enjoy and respect my own/ other peoples alone time. I am a very clean person to live with, always keen to chill and get to know my housemates more. I love to cook, listen to music, watch movies and always down for a games night or a binge on Netflix! Not into the clubbing or party scene at all, but don't mind having drinks with friends. I have no issues with cats or dogs, I've lived with both and happy to do so again :) I'll be attending Deakin university next year and also work part-time as well
I am 23 years old and work full time as an office manager. I currently live at home but am hoping to move out in November/ December when I return from my holiday in Europe. I am a very clean person and like a tidy house. I like to cook and am happy to pitch in with the weekly dinner meals. I am very easy going and sociable but also like quiet nights in.
I am a friendly, bubbly 24 year old who loves a good time, with the added bonus of being responsible and tidy. I can cook and I'm pretty good at baking when needed so if you like cake you're set. I would like a peaceful place to stay without drama so you can expect the same from me. I like beading/jewellery making so you could try out the new pieces I make if you're into that, and I love drawing in the manga style so if you like Japanese comics and anime I'm your person. Hoping to find like minded friendly and hopefully funny, creative people.
Working full time 6 days a week. Hate mess so things are always tidy. Social person but also loves my alone time. Quiet since all I do is work, eat and sleep
One room available in a sharehouse in Newtown. The bedroom is unfurnished, but the rest of the house is fully furnished. The bedroom is very large and has double built in robes. There are 3 bedrooms in total, all upstairs, with one shared bathroom downstairs. The backyard is large, with a big shed and undercover entertainment/patio area. If you want to bring along a furry friend, we may consider, but only if they are outside pets. Rent price includes bills (water, gas and electricity). Internet is additional and split between housemates ($80/month in total). The location is great, with a Woolworths, post office, medical centre, gym, cafés and multiple bus stops all around the corner. Pakington St is just a walk away, and Deakin University and Geelong town are not far! Let me know if you're interested and we can have a chat :)
I'm working 5 days a week in a high School as education aid, not a party animal, prefer pet free house. I'm not home most of the weekends as I do volunteer work as respite foster carer in Melbourne. I'm living in a beautiful granny flat but my lovely land lady is downsizing by end of the year, I'm not in rush but I like to be ready before she sell the house. I can move as soon as I find somewhere nice.
So, I have just bought this place and it is too big for one person... here is what the agent had to say about the place (photos are also ripped from the agent). Superbly located, elegant home so close to all of Newtown ’s desirable amenities, this tastefully renovated and extended home offers four generous bedrooms, two bathrooms and open plan living. The bathroom is beautifully appointed as is the kitchen – all feature stone bench tops. The kitchen opens to a sitting room and dining room with French doors opening to a verdant courtyard. A separate study is adjacent. Split systems take care of warm weather and ducted heating and a gas log fire will make you comfortable in the cooler months. Plantation shutters, dark stained timber floors and neutral walls and ceilings are striking, 2 off street parks...

This house is situated in Geelong West which makes it ideal for students (10 minutes from Deakin and Geelong CBD) and a great centerilized location for many other activities. Jamie and I have busy full time work but enjoy many of the activities the area has to offer. Being so close to Geelong CBD it is a cheap Uber and is also situated close Pakington Street and to other social hubs. We’d love for a fun, interesting house mate to move in that will love to enjoy a glass of wine with us but also has the same work commitments as we do.
I am a tidy and easy going 25 year old working close to full time and planning to study throughout the year. I'm pretty social and like chilling out with my housemates
Hi there, My name is Ellie, I'm 20 years old and have just returned from some overseas travel. I'm working part-time at Woolworths and will be returning to study at Deakin in March 2019. I'm currently living on my parents farm near Winchelsea and am looking to move into town to be closer to work, uni and friends. I'm organised, clean and friendly and in my spare time I like read, cook and hang out with my friends.
Friendly, respectful and fun to be around, I don't mind a chat but also like my alone time. I am responsible, reliable and trustworthy. I like a drink on weekends, getting out and about, love the outdoors, surfing, music and playing the guitar. I'd live with me!
32 yo female British social worker transferring to Geelong from Melbourne with with work to be closer to the ocean and hoping to enjoy a slightly slower pace of life. 5 years in Australia, the last 2 spent in Melbourne. Clean, tidy, considerate, reliable and I try my best to be eco friendly. I keep myself busy with work and various physical persuits, running, Crossfit, hiking, exploring Australia, big fan of the outdoors. Determined to learn to surf. Vegetarian/animal lover. Hoping to be able to continue cycling to work in geelong centre. Keen to hang out but also respect privacy.
I like to think I'm an easy going person that can enjoy a good conversation. I work part time and am currently studying my masters degree in Melbourne, so I'm not home a lot during the week.. however when I am home, I do enjoy time to relax and do nothing. I do also love a good adventure or social outing. I like to keep things neat and tidy, and will always respect your privacy. I can also cook up a mean stirfry.
Friendly and respectful 23 year old looking for flatmates who enjoy a good time but work hard and would love to make a new friendship. I love animals, reading and baking so you're always guaranteed some sweet treats! I work full-time as an Administration Assistant during the week and a casual Bartender on weekends.
I am working individual. I am Postie as well as Woolie, Asian (Ethnicity), Busy all the time, non-smoker, non-alcoholic (But I like parties) and 25y M. Looking for a new place, new great flatmates, and new friends. One more thing I like dogs, pets (so if you have.. not a problem..), cooking, music etc. :)
I am a huge animal lover, I generally keep to myself but I'm happy to chill and watch movies or play boardgames, not opposed to a cheeky drink, and I'm not afraid to put in effort to clean the place. I do have pet rats that will never leave my room.
Hello I'm Alex Valle. I'm looking for rent a room in a share house in Geelong west ( 150-200$/pw bills inc) for minimum 6 months. I'm working full time in a small cheese factory in Geelong. About me: hi I'm Alex I'm a Frenchie and I'm 25 old! I'm not totally fluent in English but after 1 year and 4 months in Australia, I can understand you ^^! I'm looking for a freindly house. With flatemate with whom it is possible to have fun and enjoy the weekend If you want try French food, I will teach you no problem! If you need more information about me just ask me!
I’m a 27 year old nurse at Geelong hospital so I have a lot of interesting stories! I work 3-4 days a week and go back to Warrnambool for the remaining days. I’m super considerate of other people’s space and belongings. I always clean up after myself and I’m easy to get along with!
i'm looking for a place to stay with at least 2 other housemates, i love being around people and can get along with pretty much anyone. My puppy, Teddy, is a Westie, weighing a measly 5 kgs he is as cute as a button. He has been living with me in a share house for a year and a half and is an absolute gem, he only barks at possums once a week and will stop when told off. he cuddles up to absolutely anyone and is the best little hot water bottle a girl could ask for, he sleeps with me in my bed and does very well being home alone. he doesn't eat anything he shouldn't,other than food scraps off the kitchen floor. nor does he dig holes. If anything were to happen with my living arrangements i could move back to my mum or dads house in a heart beat, so i'll be pretty easy going if you feel you can't live with the doggo. I work full time shift work for the Department of justice, i work 12 hour days every second weekend, but only a 9 day fortnight to make up for it. In my spare time i love hanging out with friends, going to the gym and having 'family' dinners with my housemates whilst watching teh bachie. I don't often go out in town as i prefer music gigs and festivals (falls, rlgrime and dom dolla coming up) but i'm not opposed to living with people that do, so long as they are respectful. Feel free to ask me any questions.
Neat & Clean (testimonials from current housemates available), plenty of shared house experience. Up for the usual household banter & friendly chats but value downtime aswell. Living a very independent life well travelled, filled with activities mostly spent outdoors (surfing, bouldering, longboarding) or related to everything creative. Officially on a work & travel visa until March 2019 but currently applying for jobs to settle down here. Budget of 190/week inc. max. Ideally the bedroom comes furnished, however I do chose moving in with the right people over moving in with the right furniture, so could be willing to buy a bed if you're chill :p
