I’m 24 years old and a full-time registered nurse at Flinders Medical Centre. I have lived in Adelaide pretty much my whole life and I like to be outdoors as much as I can, you can usually find me at the beach. I am a friendly, tidy person who respects privacy. I do enjoy a night out for dinner and drinks but also love chill nights at home.
Hi there! I’m from Brazil and I’ve been living in Adelaide since June last year to study and work. I love everything about the beach, waterfalls, hiking, surf, sports... I am pretty laid back, clean, respectful and like to keep myself busy in sports and Uni. Looking for a room to rent and hope to meet some good people who can also become friends. Thanks.
My house is close to public transport (5 min walk to train to Adelaide or Seaford). 9 min. walk to beautiful Seacliff beach. Flinders University and Medical Centre are within 10 minutes. Shared living areas kitchen and lounge and bathroom and private patio and rear garden together with workshop and garage. Attached study to bedroom included. Love the fresh air and being close to the beach and with views to the water. A games/gym room is available including Table Tennis. Also the use of Toyota utility and canoe possible by arrangement also a good quality piano available for the musically inclined. Currently undertaking upper level extending the house to include extra bedrooms and independent living spaces and kitchen providing future options for flatmates.
Hello Adelaide, I am a French Canadian Engineer, working in Lonsdale. I’m an ex triathlete who is still very active and healthy. I cook a lot, so you will see me in the kitchen but not the living room! I am on the cleaner side of the spectrum. I am currently looking, but super flexibles on my moving dates.
Hello, need a place in Adelaide for the next 3-6 months. I'm very quiet and down to earth. I still enjoy a good yarn if the subject is right, but most of the time I very much keep to myself. I'm not too fussed about a bit of mess but cannot stand food scraps or dishes around the place. Love cult films, music of almost any kind and wouldn't turn away a cheeky red. I'm equal parts outdoors person and indoors, and I absolutely love animals of all kinds. Paying rent in my current place until the 1st of June. Anytime after that is good.
I’m really neat and I enjoy company. I have a medium sized labradoodle who does not shed, is very friendly and trained. I looking for a house preferably near a train station on the Seaford line so I can have easy transport.
I am NOT interested in renting a room anywhere, so please do not offer !! The house I am currently renting has been sold, so I am putting the feelers out for something new. I have until September to find something, but also probably the flexibility to get out sooner. So anywhere between May and September may be realistic I want to a houseshare, where we look at houses together, sign a lease together and share the house and not just rent a room. A house big enough for everyone to have their own space. I have furniture and whitegoods for a house, and bedroom furniture for myself and a spare/guest room. But we can always adjust what goes in. I'm happy to sell some of my stuff or use it all. This is not the search for an option to live super cheap, rather to get more bang for your buck. So a decent house in good condition with enough space for everyone to not be on top of each other. 2 bathrooms ideally, a spare room, spacious living areas. Someone should be willing to spend $160-$250 plus expenses, so that we can get something nice. That's a pretty wide range there and depend on what you want for yourself. Obviously there needs to be a yard for the dog with good fencing. A doggie companion for her would be perfect. She's not the most social dog, but generally company would be good for her. Gets along better with male dogs I'm 42 (but refuse to grow up), work fulltime in the city, love cycling and trail running or hiking, don't mind the odd drink, I'm not a health-nut and enjoy my creature comforts. I do like it tidy in the common areas (kitchen and bathroom especially). My dog Zara is a bit shy at first, but nothing that can't be resolved with treats, and she is really a big sook! She doesn't want to live in a party house, too many loud noises scare her ;), and she's also not used to kids, so I am looking for single people or couples only. That's all for now, if you're looking for something similar, get in touch!
Down to earth guy that loves the outdoors. Looking for a place close to the beach and close to work for a short period. Somewhere between glenelg and moana would be ideal. Room for storing my tinny boat would be a bonus.
Hello! I'm Theresa, or Tee :) I love anything to do with food, health, fitness, beach, socialising, laughing, travelling, helping others and puppy cuddles! I have a mini dachshund named Slinky! I work full time hours & studying part time a bachelor of health science in nutritional medicine...so as you can tell, I love food! I'm looking for a roomie! Message me if you are a like minded female who loves to chat, eat & cares about their health & other people :)
Oh haaay I’m Elyza 🙋🏽♀️ I’m down to earth, open minded, have a good sense of humour (in my opinion 🤷🏽♀️) and connect well with other like-minded company. I enjoy social settings with the casual drink or two and also value my wind down time and respect others in the same sense. I work 5-6 days a week (in retail) usually from midday to 6:30pm and in my spare time I’m either veging out watching Netflix, long boarding, at the beach, or just out socialising with friends in general on some spontaneous adventure. I appreciate a positive environment that’s clean and somewhat organised, as well as common sense and courtesy when it comes to share areas, other people’s belongings and cleaning up after yourself. Also appreciate open communication and respectful assertiveness to address any concerns and issues :) * Require an unfurnished room. * My rent budget is pretty firm so that’s including most bills but happy to split when it comes to electricity/gas/internet bills. * Also I work in the Marion area and do not drive so prefer travel time to be no longer than 20mins. * Please contact me ONLY via flatmates messages. ✌🏼
I’m working as a part time salesperson in the Marion area and am a full time student studying to be a paramedic. I’m very introverted but have extroverted traits (I don’t throw parties or have friends over often but I’m not shy around people I see every day). I also hold high standards regarding cleanliness and respect other people’s things :)
Hello everyone! I am moving to Adelaide for 4 months for a semester abroad. I am a law student from Canada looking to find a roommate or two to share a house with (females only). I am very active and always up for an adventure. I would like to live close to the beach and not too far from public transport to the University of Adelaide. I enjoy playing sports, biking, swimming, surfing and cooking. I am very easy to get along with, like to have a fun time but also value personal space. It would be great to live with other students but not a requirement. I am flexible on the rent price and rental locations and possibly the rent term (if it makes financial sense). Please send me a message if you are interested!
I'm Lauren, writer at heart but working in digital marketing by day. Love baking, reading, brunching and the occasional Friday night wine-down. Own my own unit but considering renting it out to save some dosh. I'm tidy, friendly and respectful, and looking at sharehouses with predominantly female members, no pets (or hypoallergenic ones) and a tidy home with good internet and a/c.
Hey there! I'm a 24 year old professional who is looking to move southwest of Adelaide. I’m a government worker with a rotating shift work roster. I'm very easy to get along with and would definitely consider myself a social butterfly. I also like my own space and respect others privacy too. I’m into health and fitness. I’m neat and tidy, happy to share house duties. I look forward to hearing what rooms are available!
Hey all! My current housemate and I are looking for a couple of rooms available between Hallett Cove and the city as soon as possible as our lease ends in April. I currently work nights and study and she works early mornings so we’re out quite a bit or asleep haha we are both super friendly, tidy and considerate! I love to cook for people and share a glass of wine if I have the time and my housemate jade is always a laugh! I am a smoker but always outside as the smell till this day still kind of grosses me out haha and we do have 2 bunnies which basically look after themselves and keep the garden tidy! Send me a message, we look forward to hearing from you :)
Hi Future Housemates, Justin here, 30, single, looking for a fun house to join. I am easygoing, social and respectful bloke who enjoys the odd drink and a good meal. I work as a chef full time, so work hospitality hours, so I won’t be around most nights, especially weekends. I am not looking for a party house, although am happy to have a beer and chat. I get the housemate thing, I have done it before. I will gladly share a meal and chats, but also know how to respect your privacy and will pay rent and bills on time. I also know how to keep communal spaces tidy and can put a bin out. Let me know if you’d like to meet and chat further or have any questions. Cheers, Justin
Hiyya! I'm open minded, clean/hygenic, caring, pay bills on time (1st thing that should be paid), love a good laugh, am a singer and have geeky hobbies. I'm not a party gal and like to listen to music or read from home, have friends over (all of my friends are funny, safe, random peeps, most are musicians too :) ) Not too fussed with the genders, age, ethnicity of housemates, just no creeps, duh. I also do not have a car, so close proximity to train and bus stops is important! I'd particularly love to live around the Seaford train line :D I require house mates who are: respectful, egalitarian (or at least don't push their differing views on me), mature/mostly mature xD, good communicators, considerate, clean up after themselves, and aren't too loud. Extras: It'd be nice to become friends with housemates, maybe cook together, watch movies, share music tastes, from time to time - I love alone time though, so this isn't a need, but would be nice :) To support a positive living environment, friendliness and communication is necessary though :) Housing History: I've lived in shared private rental, in student accommodation buildings, with friends, and with family. Have met and been around diverse people from different cultures, backgrounds. I've been living with a 25yo male and 24 y.o. nb housemate since July 2018. Before that I lived in a large (8 story, 38 rooms/floor) student accom. 3 diff friends households at the end of high school until I got into a Music course last year. And ofc with family before that too. I've experienced controlling friendships and housemates, messy housemates, overcrowded housing (a friend who has 5 high functioning autistic siblings and parents :) I stayed with them for a month while house-hunting :) ), and with my family - the family structure house hold. I know what I like and don't like in a household and in people, so have good, real expectations for safety, living environment, and communication. I love cute things, and am semi into gardening, but I'm a bit clumsy and forgetful, so it's more of a 'when I'm not too busy' type hobby. This year, for at least the 1st study semester, I'll be studying a UniSA foundation course, since I studied more practical Music Industry (Performance - vocal) courses last year, and haven't written essays et cetera for over a year now......+ (rant: I hadn't finished paying off the certificate 4 which I was going to use to get into a uni psychology course......there's a student loan for that sort of thing that I didn't know about #regret....well.....now I know T-T ) I'm thinking of studying a Psychology/Behavioral Science bachelor degree at Adelaide Uni or Flinders, oooor an Arts degree (could study psych & Japanese @ Adelaide - I'm a bit of an otaku, so that sounds fun~) so will be looking for housing around there for mid year (looking for a 6 month lease. I prefer 6 months incase housemates end up being to loopy, not what they say they are etc) xD I love plants, animals & the environment too - I'm an avid recycler, so would prefer eco-concious housemates :) Message if you think I sound like a good fit for your household c: Toooodles~
Hi I'm Chris, a 23yo Bartender with a passion for hospitality. I like to keep the fridge full of cold beers and hummus. When I'm not working I'll probably doing some form of activity whether it be playing guitar or going to the gym. I don't eat anything that comes from an animal, so you don't have to worry about me stealing your snacks. Always down for a cheeky beer.
Me and my daughter and a Maltese shitzu dog We are easy to live with would prefer female house mate 1 or 2 bedrooms be awesome decent size back yard for my baby girl to play in. Close to public transport a bonus as I do not drive ATM thank u
Hi all, Im Sarah. I am 21, Working full time Administration and study part time in Business until next year. I'm very bubbly, understanding and neat. I fill my spare time with playing sports mostly soccer and being outdoors and exploring, but i also love to enjoy my time being at home when i can.
Hey! I am 24 years old and have recently graduated teaching. I am a Relief Teacher and Free Lance Outdoor Ed Instructor. I spend most of my time outdoors, away on school camps or in the classroom. On my days off and in my downtime I love adventurous activities, water sports, relaxing/netflixing, seeing my friends/family/boyfriend, live music, camping trips, getting home to the country and going to the gym. I'm looking for clean, tidy, considerate, fun & positive house mates who will get the same in return! If you think I'd fit in at your house, I would love to catch up for a chat and to hear more about your place! 😊
