$350/week•22 year old woman
Heyy,
I’m Elli, 22, from Munich, Germany 🇩🇪, and I’ll be living in Melbourne from early July to late November for my exchange semester at Monash University (Clayton Campus). I’m studying to become a high school teacher for English, Geography & Ethics and can’t wait to explore everyday life in Melbourne – both the city and its people 🌏✨
🌿I’ve lived in shared flats before and truly value a warm, respectful and easygoing home. I’m tidy and considerate, especially in shared spaces like the kitchen and bathroom, and I believe a flat should be a place where everyone feels comfortable and at ease.
💛I’m used to balancing independence and shared moments, and I love the idea of not just living next to each other, but also sharing the occasional chat, dinner, or spontaneous activity – while fully respecting each other’s personal space and downtime.
✨As a person, I’d describe myself as open-minded, friendly, social, humorous, and reliable. I enjoy meaningful conversations as much as lighthearted fun, and usually find it easy to connect with others. It’s important to me to bring a positive energy to shared spaces and to be mindful of the people around me.
🌿In my free time, I enjoy long walks, discovering new neighborhoods (art, food, parks…), being out in nature and spending time with friends. I love dancing, painting, and playing volleyball or spikeball, and I’m always up for a cozy game night or cooking together. Since it’s my first time in Melbourne, I’m excited to meet new people and explore the city.
🔎 I’m looking for a furnished room in a friendly, social but laid-back sharehouse or apartment – ideally with locals or fellow students, and with good tram or train connections between the CBD and Clayton Campus.
If you think I could be a good fit or know someone who’s looking for a new flatmate, feel free to get in touch – I’d love to hear from you! 😊
Looking forward to meeting lovely people & getting to know life in Melbourne!
– Elli 🌿
