I’m a Norwegian lady working in tourism in a lovely rural town called Rosendal by the Hardangerfjord from april to august. My partner Andrius works as a chef in the same place. There is a kitchen and herb garden next to the restaurant he works in, and he really enjoys cooking with garden produce. Previously we have been working in mountain lodges in Norway. We live close to Oslo in a small house (with a tiny garden) that I inherited from my grandmother. When we are there Andrius works for one of the restaurant groups in Oslo, while I take shifts as a care worker. We love going on long journeys together in the off seasons. The last couple of years we have spent one winter in the south of France and one winter in Japan. Now the time has come to visit Australia! We are both practical people and enjoy helping out with all kinds of tasks. On our off time we like going for walks, relaxing, reading, visiting bakeries and cooking.
