Our much loved modern Edwardian home is located in the storybook suburb of Westgarth with everything at your doorstep. Our modern home offers plenty of natural light, high ceilings, hardwood floors, aircon and heating in the warmer months. In your own private part of the house, the bedroom offers a very comfortable Tempur mattress which will ensure a restful sleep as well as luxurious linen and towels provided. A large flat screen TV comes complete with Apple TV and a small glass writing desk. Our recently renovated modern, spacious and private bathroom hosts beautiful high ceilings, a large sink and a big mirror, toilet, bathtub and rainwater shower head to give that added touch of luxury. EVERYTHING from our home is at your doorstep: trains to the city (Mernda line), places to eat, The Palace Westgarth cinema, the tranquil surrounds of Melbourne's greatest parks/gardens and the well known Terra Madre whole food store, all within a few minutes walking.
Two rooms available in a beautiful Federation-style house in Northcote (Westgarth), one long-term, one for six months. Shared with M 51 + F 33 (not a couple) and a dog. We're independent people with active professional and social lives in and out of the house but enjoy the occasional shared dinner at home (we're undogmatic vegetarians). $1,185 per month each, $1,600 bond (only for the long-term room). Generous TV-free open kitchen-dining-lounge-dance area, spacious bathroom, lovely back garden, shared study, storage space. Train station right out front (otherwise it's a very quiet spot), High Street (Tram 86/Terra Madre/Westgarth Cinema) and St Georges Road (Tram 11) less than 10 min walk away.
Room for short-term sublet in a lovely single fronted three-bedroom terrace in Northcote. We are looking to sub-let the front bedroom in our house from February-April 2019. The room is large, freshly painted and has plenty of natural light. It is furnished with a bed, a desk (a larger one than in the photo), bedside table and a clothes rack but any of that can be removed if you’d prefer your own things. Rent is $1100 per month, paid one month in advance and includes all bills and wifi. Couples will be considered for a slightly higher rent. There is a train and two trams only a short walk away and just up the street is Northcote's High St, which has many bars, music venues, restaurants, cheap diners, shops, pubs, grocery stores and a cinema. We like home to be a clean, friendly and a restful sanctuary. We don’t tend to cook together because we have such different schedules but we’re definitely up for a shared meal every now and again. The room is freshly painted and the house has a new kitchen with a dishwasher and is fully furnished, with washing machine, dining table, couch etc. The bathroom is located just across a small deck outside the kitchen and has a washing machine, shower, toilet and vanity.
we live in a large house with a good size front and back yard. we are close to westgarth village and public transport. the house it self is a little rustic and there is a barn. currently there is four of us living here.
The property is in a inner suburb but at the same time it is pretty close to the cbd if needed. The house is in front of a creek, for nature lovers, it is amazing. Everyday you get to hear the singing of birds, ducks and some others animals.
Beautiful double brick house with swimming pool. Peaceful and friendly environment. Fully furnished, bills included. Single and sharing rooms available Walking distance to shops, shopping mall, etc Walk to public transport - 20 mins to CBD Lease negotiable $255 pw for single, $345 pw for twin share.
Two bedroom unit located near the corner of Miller St & St Georges Rd. Unit is close to 11 and 96 tram, 20 mins from the CBD or a good 1 hr walk. There are plenty of parks and cafes within an easy walking distance & Merri creek is only a 2 minute walk away. I am looking for someone who's easy going but respectful of others space and is clean. I like the occasional social gathering and I am often baking. I am after someone who wants a home rather than just a roof. I am a pretty relaxed person who likes to share a meal when I can but I also really like my own time. The unit is fully furnished, including your bedroom with a big court yard with outdoor dining and a hammock. $250 a week plus bills.
I am offering a room with a queen bed, private ensuite, TV, desk and BIR. Room is upstairs so you will have the level to yourself, very private. Great location, close to High Street with its cafes, restaurants, bars, music, supermarket and cinema. House has aircon, bbq and an outdoor area/garden. I live on a tram line into the city and close to 2 metro train stations.
It is a nice little place. Amazing location, Edinburgh Gardens one end of road and Rushall station the other. Piedemonte's up the other way is a great market and there are great pubs etc around. Lovely street with nice neighbours. Yard is lovely too, good shade and some nice plants. Best spot in Fitzroy North in my opinion! ;) Has heating in each room, good aircon in lounge, microwave, dishwasher, new oven, Weber bbq and washing machine.

Hey there! Looking for some similar people to live with in a sharehouse. Don't mind if a join a hood or we start a new one in a new house. Preferably would like to live with 2-3 others to be able to afford a decent place but not drain the bank. I'm Extremely clean. Easy to live with. Responsible. Have a good renting record. Work multiple jobs to support a decent income. Love socialising, music, drinks and hanging out. I own/operate a music mixing and mastering business so I'd require a room to live in but also another room to work from. Ideally, I'd love to find a place which had a granny flat (separate room away from the house) where I could do my work. Hit us up if you're interested!
Moving to Melbourne in Jan 2019 as a full time academic. Looking for a place (walking distance) near the 86 tram line, station and amenities. Loves chilling at home, exploring cafes, going to the gym, chatting, but also respects the need for some quiet time.
Hey there! I'm Abbey and I'm from New South Wales' South Coast. I am looking to start my undergrad study (BSc) at the University of Melbourne in 2019. I'm looking for a place where I can stay at least for the first year of my studies, with some flatmates who are just as friendly and easy going as I am. I am highly organised and always willing to lend a hand wherever it is needed. I love music, nature and art, and am particularly passionate about wildlife (so I would be over the moon if you have any pets!). If I sound like someone who'd work well with you and your flatmates, please get in touch :) Cheers!
I'm a 25 y/o male, country-born and relocated to Melbourne in 2015 to attend university. I plan on returning to uni next year as a full-time student. I'm clean, friendly, and I leave the TV remote in obvious places. Dogs also take an immediate liking to me. For recreation I read, play video games and run begrudgingly. I'm also a bit of an audiophile and a film buff, so in my spare time I enjoy listening to music and watching movies (and talking about them with like-minded people!) I'm relaxed most of the time and wont bother you if I'm not.
I am Dutch chef (kitchen) interested in travelling and meeting new people from wherever it may be! I love food, cooking, dining out, music, fashion and life. Eager to learn about myself and life itself I have decided to move to Australia.
Looking at moving down for uni from the country. Enjoy sports, sitting down relaxing, having a chat, while always up for an adventure or a few drinks. Looking to share with someone around the same age if I was to share.
I run the Dao Yuan School for Qigong in Germany and I would like to teach in Australia as well. Currently I'm looking for accomodation in Melbourne from 14 to 24 May 2019 - then I'll start with some information events. I am interested in everything that others think and do and are interested in.
Im a horrible person, you dont want to live with me. jk Im alright, work full time spend weekends with friends. I play basketball and go to the gym alot. Loves music, cooking and travel. Keen surfer and looking to improve whilst in Aus! Dilys – Works as a teacher. Enjoys seeing live music and comedy. Looking to explore Melbourne and make the most of the time here. We will both be working during the week so will be looking to live somewhere more chilled Monday – Friday. We look forward to hearing from you!
