Just over a 5 minute walk from Northcote Plaza, this place is very conveniently situated. It is close to the 86 tram and the 250, 251 and 552 bus routes. Croxton train station is a ~12 minute walk away and Northcote station is also nearby. There is ample street parking, with unlimited parking always available. There is also an off-street parking space. I currently have my car parked there, but we can come to an agreement about parking if you have a car because I’m not at all fussy where I park. The flat is at ground level. The lounge room is beautifully light filled. It opens up onto a sweet balcony overlooking the unit complex’s modest garden, and is a refreshing view to see in the morning. The bedroom is generous (approximately 3x3 if I’m recalling correctly), with a large built-in robe. The best feature is the huge window which lets in heaps of natural light. The bathroom is shared, but my current roommate and I have had no issues so far. There is a washing machine in there, and the building has shared drying facilities. There is internet- $35/month Rent is $869 per calendar month (exc. bills), to be paid on the 22nd of each month. The bond is actually $1200, but the website wouldn’t allow me to put in a custom number. You would be required to go on the lease. The lease is on a rolling contract. ABOUT YOU: I’m looking for someone with similar values that is competent with cleaning. I’m not fussy about the rest, but would prefer someone in the 20-30 age range. Non-smokers preferred, but I could make an exception for the right match provided you’re respectful of the space and boundaries. I do require someone that has a means of employment though, just to make sure there won’t be any issues with regular rent and bill payments. If you think that sounds like you, send me a message or a text and we’ll organise a time for you to come check the place out!
Hi, My name is Raz. I work fulltime in a childcare centre as a chef. I am outgoing, friendly and always up for a chat. I am clean and tidy, always clean up after myself. I do not smoke cigarettes or use drugs. I also don't have a pet although I am okay if you have a cat or a dog. I am looking for a room close to work ( Abbotsford/Richmond ) preferably with an ensuite(not a must) and accessible by public transport or team up for a 2 bedder. I love fitness, I eat healthy and love the nature. I love meat and vegetables equally.. so if you are strict about being vegan or vegetarian.. then we won't be compatible. I am also a T in the lgbt+. So looking for potential flatmate/housemates who are lgbt+ friendly. I work 7am - 3pm Mon-Fri and usually go for a 5k run every second day, yoga and cook dinner most evenings during the week. I also work casually as party helper serving food and drinks on weekends/weeknight. Otherwise if not working on the weekends, I tend to go out and about hiking, exploring, hang out with friends, eat out and I run 10k with a group of friends on Sundays if the weather permits.. otherwise, other hobbies includes sewing and baking. I am Malaysian born Australian and have been living in Australia since 2004 away from my family. I just moved to Melbourne since march.. Currently renting a room in a friend's apartment but think it's time for me to spread my wings. If you have any question for me, please do not hesitate to ask.
Heya! I'm a 19y old student moving into a shared home for the first time, although I have been living on my own for over a year and have practised independence and tidying up after myself. Currently studying an arts/science degree and working part time. Interested in music, eating good food; generally an open-minded and chill person. Always down for chats and beers, but also understanding of privacy.
We're a British couple in our early 30s moving to Melbourne in the first or second week of October and looking for a short-term place while we find our feet. Alister is a university lecturer and Elly is an environmental scientist. We're sociable and enjoy people's company, but we're also respectful of their space.
Hey, I'm a 26 year old Web Developer and work regular hours. I've just moved back to Melbourne after living in Warsaw, Poland for 5 years, working as an English Teacher. I'm looking to make new contacts and discover new perspectives on life. I love music. I have a small, but gorgeous vinyl collection. Put on a record while cleaning and I'm in heaven. Cooking is another passion of mine whether it's cooking with others or sharing a meal. I enjoy the occasional wine and craft beer, but in moderation. Or just a chat over coffee. Always up for a chat!

I do enjoy my downtime of reading, trying to keep in shape and video games if I ever get a spare moment in the week but I am still looking to live with people I can be friendly with over the odd drink or by showing off my cooking skills.

Hi! I'm currently living Huskisson NSW, on somewhat of a sabbatical. I have lived in Melbourne previous to that for close to 10 years. I'm clean and value my solitude when I need to recharge(classic introvert) but I do enjoy cooking and spending some time with fellow housemates. I'm into music, woodworking and gardening. I have a well trained and behaved kelpie/koolie her name is Bobbie. I've been working as a music teacher, furniture maker and gardener all part-time while I've been living in Husky. It has been a great break from the city but I miss Melbourne! I'll be completing a short amount of study(3 months) when I move back and then back to the full-time grind!
