Hi, I’m Maddy! Im a 24 year old qualified nurse looking to find a place in Melbourne! I am super friendly and outgoing, but also enjoy time to myself or hanging out and taking it easy. I’m tidy and don’t own too much stuff, I like to keep my room simple. I have a pugalier Ollie, who will pretty much respond o anything you call him, so long as you have food :p He’s a pretty good boy, constantly entertaining himself with his toys and dreaming of food. Ollie is trained to stay in a pen when necessary however he usually sleeps in my room so he won’t be galavaning around the house without supervision at night. He’s trained for inside and outside but currently doesn’t stay outside when nobody’s home due to the fact that he Weill eat anything he finds in the yard... anything. However! If the yard doesn’t have anything dangerous in it, he’s more than happy to stay outside all day! He desperately loves playing with other dogs and NEVER attacks animals or people, he’s just a beautiful loving dog still experimenting with his youthful curiosity (he is 8 mths old).
Hi, we are a couple from Spain, we are both architects. Nadia has a student visa for one year and I am working as a freelance for several architects and builders. We are very easy-going people, very friendly and very focused on our work. We don't like to party much, we love animals, and we practice sports such as CrossFit, soccer, surf.
Howdy! I'm a 31, very housetrained, social, open and relaxed human, looking for a comfortable, communal-vibe, well-loved home with excellent humans, to become a participating member of! I'm currently studying design and I also work in a cafe, whilst also doing freelance on the side, which takes up my week Mon-Sat. I'm also vego, eat/cook vegan at home. In my (small amount of) spare time I love to get out outside and hang with friends in the sun and gardens, out into the bush, treks to beach/river swims in summer, catch local gigs and shows, cheap Nova Mondays, exhibitions, and generally find fun things to do. I also spend a fair bit of time working on my own creative endeavours when I can. I also have a friendly, fully housetrained 2yr old cat, Chomsky. I'm looking for a friendly, interactive, open minded, considerate, generally non-party but social home with housemates who would ideally become pals to connect with for dinner/drinks/hangs every now and again, and are respectful of communal spaces. Thanks!
Working full time as a software developer / team manager for a company in fitzroy with a very diverse team and looking to live closer to work and the city. I consider myself a quiet and considerate person, and I'm tolerant of other people and their differences. Since I work full time, I need housemates that are not loud late at night (past 12am) on weekdays. I enjoy media of all kinds, both good and bad, so happy to hang out on Fridays after work and watch a movie or something with a beer (or many if particularly bad). I would prefer starting as a trial for a week or two where possible (paid of course) to get to know other housemates before staying with them long term.
Coming from the eastern suburbs but will have work between Geelong and Tullamarine for the next 6 months so am wanting to live somewhere relatively close to both. I am a shift worker so my room mate will need to be okay with me getting up early and coming home late. Am fairly tidy and low maintenance but would also like to share with someone who enjoys a drink/is social in their spare time.
Hi, I'm Nathan. I'm a full time student (studying Musical Theatre) and a part time worker. About me: The first thing I should mention is that I'm super clean and tidy. I work as a cleaner in the CBD and I've got some useful skills and habbits from it 😄 I took up reading self help about a year ago and since then I've had a massive gear shift in my personal progress and happiness. It sounds like a cliche, but it works! I'm generally really happy all the time 😃 Final note; I'm supper chill, very respectful, I don't really drink or anything. I can get along with pretty much anyone. If this all sounds good/ interesting, shoot me a message. I'm happy to answer any questions 😁
Hi! One of our housemates is moving out on January 8th 2019 and we are looking for a new friend to join to our home. Your room: The room for rent is the 2nd largest (3.3m X 5m) and located on the ground floor. It has floor boards, would easily fit a King sized bed, a desk and bookshelves/storage unit. The kitchen has plenty of storage, a gas stove, an electric oven and a dishwasher (lifesaver!). You can also find the 2nd toilet, separate laundry and Harry Potter cupboard under the stairs on this floor. Upstairs are the other three bedrooms and the shared bathroom which includes shower, toilet and an huge spa bath with jets. Heating is in every bedroom and an air conditioning unit keeps the lounge room cool in summer. Outside there is a generous deck with outdoor seating, BBQ and garage. It's a seven minute walk to two tram lines (11 and 96) and Northcote station is also close. Public transport into the city is 30 minutes. We have great local cafes and Northcote Plaza and High street is a short drive/bus ride away for supermarkets, restaurants, entertainment etc...

Dreamhouse in Northcote seaks 4th. Our amazing house is located in a quiet road right next to Merri Creek, on the border of Northcote and East Brunswick. Spread across two stories, 2.5 bathrooms, two living areas, a good sized kitchen with a large bench, new oven and dishwasher. There is plenty of storage space, a working wash machine and dryer and the TV is hooked up to WIFI for all your Netflix needs. Outside a deck that's great for summer BBQ's, a small balcony upstairs, not much of a garden and a double garage that could easily accommodate your bike or car. The room itself is on the first floor, at the front of the house. It's the second largest and has plenty of light. You'll share the upstairs bathroom for all your shower and bathing (big with jets!) needs. The room is unfurnished but has a pretty big build-in wardrobe. Transport is a breeze - we are a 10 min. walk to tram 96 and 11 and the trainstation is walkable as well. We are next to Merri Creek bike path and good coffee, Ceres Environment Park and Foodworks are only a short walk away.
Hey there! I'm Ivy, i'm currently living in good ol' Byron Bay but i'm looking to make the move to Melbourne to study my love, Photography, at RMIT in Feb. I currently study childcare and am working as an assistant educator in a childcare centre (from that fact alone you know i have good patience and am a pro at cleaning up icky things). The things i enjoy when i'm not working or studying are; - going to gigs - reading in parks, or reading in libraries with really comfy chairs - making collages - taking piccies of the bands i see (I run a music blog with my current roommate) - listening to copious amounts of music (psychedelic rock/lofi/dream pop/alt rock is my jam, i can link you some playlists) - watching sitcoms like the office 'n parks and rec, or the occasional terrible rom-com House-mate wise i'm very calm and easygoing, clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I very much enjoy my own space too, i'm a massive introvert so i'll probably spend most of my time at home in my room studying or listening to music. Despite this i'm still always up to hang out and share some tunes or go to a gig with you or something ! Also I currently live with a vegan so i'm used to not cooking or eating meat in the house if that is necessary. Message me with any more Q's! (or if you want me to link you some playlists) Thanks!

The house has a large living area with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Looking preferably for a couple in their 20's who are easy going. Hey looking for friendly laid back person/people to share a house with. I work in civil construction so out of the house all day, if not working would like to relax, listen to music, see friends, have friends over, go out just generally live happily :)
Hi there! My name is James and I work as an architectural draftsperson within the education sector for a company called Fleetwood. I am 25 years old and moved to Melbourne almost 2 years ago from Western Australia. I would consider myself to be a very friendly and funny person. I am a bit of an introvert however and enjoy my own space. This usually revolves around playing computer games or watching netflix, so I guess I'm a bit of a nerd! I also enjoy camping and other outdoor activities from time to time to get away from the city life and relax! I am very neat and tidy, probably to the point of being a little bit OCD, I also don't own alot of things so I guess you could say I'm a bit of a minimalist. I'm also looking to study architecture next year full time, which will mean ill be dropping down to part time work. Lastly I'm really looking forward to meeting some new people and starting this new chapter of my life, hope to hear from you all soon!
Hi, Leah here, I am the girl in the middle of my profile photo. I'm a cool chick. I'm young and single and enjoy that as a rite of passage. First and foremost I think it’s important and transparent to state that I am currently living in Perth and have committed to moving to Melbourne come January. Nothing has gone wrong here in Perth. In fact it’s been a swimmingly good time, now is the appropriate time to broaden my horizons and push out of my comfort zones. I have lived out of home for the past 8 years so I am well versed in share home living experience. I really want to move into a bomb share house, figuratively that is. A nice home, with people who really respect quiet time at those appropriate hours of the day but are up to getting distracted at breakfast time because the energy is high and the banter follows suit. In saying that, I understand that there is a buffering period where we move around each other somewhat silently analysing each movement and figuring out the quirks of the new housemate. I respect this dance. "Whats great about living with me"; I'm very neat and tidy and I function in a better state when there is little clutter around. Coming home to other peoples baggage in the common area is a frustrating prospect, emotional baggage included. All the people I have lived with have told me that I bring a strong homely vibe to the house, thus, creating a home. I've even had them sweetly say that when I left, their house has never been close to "Leah clean" again. I am a nurturer at heart, I have mainly lived with men and it's been a great joy to see how the other breed of human functions. I've actually always taken care of the financial aspect of renting so I guess I never actually had the opportunity to not pay rent and bills on time. Now for some maths Cleanliness + reasonableness + communication - passive aggressiveness / going the extra mile-ness = mature housemates. Also, the limit does not exist. If you get that reference then we are ready to kumbaya my lord. If you hate people referencing pop culture/movies/vines we have lost an opportunity to see eye to eye straight off of the bat, but I’m not all about that. Truely, I am a thoughtful individual who can see the pitfalls of communicating to each other through vines. I practice yoga around 4-5x a week. I am also a teacher and have been teaching privately and publicly for over a year, this (other then my family) will be the toughest thing for me to depart with, however, I am confident Melbourne will provide the goods when it comes to yoga opportunities. Hokai, so I suggest if you like the sound of me and think we will be a fit, contact me, we will chat over Skype or FaceTime if you’re an iPhone owner. It will be be helpful to get a gauge of each other and then we can discuss the more nitty gritty things, move in dates, leasing agreements, proof of identity etcetera etcetera. Also, just so nobody is screwing each other around please mention what type of kettle you have so that I know you have actually read of the important stuff. Bonus facts below: If I turn my head and look over to my mini bookshelf I can currently see these books (I have GREAT eyesight, I’m oddly proud of this considering it is outside of my control): Freedom in the Making of Western Culture Letting Go Clarity Captivating 12 Rules for Life Roald Dahl Treasury Yin Yoga The Tree of Yoga The Bible Anatomy of Stretching My most listened to podcasts are: The Joe Rogan Experience Waking Up with Sam Harris The Tim Ferriss Show Skeptic Tank with Ari Shafir Favourite youtube channels: Killtony David Dobrik Jenna Marbles Dolan Twins Emma Chamberlain H3H3 Cody Ko Daily Dose of Internet
Hi, My name is Karli and I am a 23 yr old creative moving to Melbourne in January 2019. I currently work full time in a Wollongong studio and printery as a graphic designer as well as a freelance designer and illustrator and a fitness instructor at a local aerials studio (yeah, I'm a very busy person atm! haha). I will be continuing to work remotely in my current position as graphic designer until March so being able to work from home is a must! I am a pretty chilled out human - I like movies, making new friends, napping (a lot!) and getting creative. I can be very social but love my own space too. I spend some weekends going on adventures with my boyfriend and some curled up watching Netflix. Also, if you are someone I can get excited for the new Game of Thrones series with, we will get along really well! I am tidy, and have an extensive experience living in shared accommodation (6 years in boarding school, 2 years in uni college accommodation, & 2 years in houseshare). I would prefer somewhere that is furnished and has off-street parking so I don't have to worry about my vehicle's security or transporting furniture interstate. Also, unfortunately I am allergic to cats so anywhere that has an indoor feline I will not be able to apply for :( If you think we will get along well in the same house, message me!
Haiiiii. I’m Meghan. 26 yo. I study full time double Bach of health sci/Bach of media & comms with intentions to get into copy writing- I have 6 months left. I also am a bartender at a couple of venues. fitzroy bowls clurb and at the arts centre. All aren’t late night venues which means I’m usually finished before mid night. When I’m at home I like to really unwind . In saying that, I’m very social so always up for a chat and a glass of red/ tinny. I’ve lived with countless people and grew up in a huge fam (I’m a triplet) so I know the drill with house expectations. I currently live in an abode in brunswick but my lease is finishing on the 20th of January, so im looking to snatch something up around that date. In my spare time I’m usually eating/ drinking with friends/ checking out local music & events all the usual things a 20-something year olds enjoy. If I seem all gravy to you. Hit me up!
International couple from Finland and Czech Republic. Looking forward to meeting new people and learning about cultures. Clean & responsible, working from 9-17 on weekdays.
I'm looking to move to be closer to a new job beginning in 2019. I'm open to joining an existing share house, teaming up to find a property or living solo. I'm a teacher working with disadvantaged youth while also studying my masters in applied positive psychology. That stuff all takes up a lot of my time, however, balance is really important to me, so I'm also active (into gym, yoga and outdoor workouts), enjoy getting out into nature and hiking, road trips, camping, eating out etc... I am vegan and do enjoy cooking. I like living in situations were we're free to cook and prepare our own food or occasionally sharing a meal. I'd like to live in a place that feels homely and warm with people who connect well with each other, while also respecting space. I don't want to live in a party house, but would like a peaceful sanctuary to return to, with friends dropping by from time to time. Importantly, I come with a cat named Yuki. She's 5 years old, the sweetest and lowest maintenance cat I have ever met. She is part indoor part outdoor (no kitty litter required!) Get in touch if it sounds like we could be future housemates!
We are a happy, outgoing couple who loves adventure and the outdoors. We both love the beach and Eli competes in Surf Boat Rowing. Erin has just returned from a 1 year backpacking trip around mostly Europe where Eli visited twice. We both love to eat, cook, or go out for a weekend coffee together or with friends. We have both grown up in a rural area so moving to the city is as exciting as it is nerve raking for us both. Eli is an apprentice mechanic and Erin works in hospitality.
Hey guys! So I’m Daniel, 27 and a half years old. Originally from Israel but also Italian, I speak both languages. I arrived not long ago from Italy after intensive studies to become a car designer. Now I’m here, trying to chill out a bit and understand better what are my priorities in life. Basically I just want to get inspiration from the beautiful people and culture of Melbourne and Australia. I’m a calm person, not much for parties and festivals (although you do need to release energies from time to time) but more for wine and a good sittings with friends. For me it’s most important my house would feel like a home. A cozy place, relaxing and positive. I enjoy cooking and I try to keep the house clean as well. I’m well over the days of beer-pong and belly shots but obviously I’m not against a nice gathering around the from time to time. Honesty is an important value to me. That is why I would never try to fake my character in order to get into your home. I think that a nice conversation over a cup of coffee will do just fine in order to understand if the chemistry is right. So if you feel I could be the right kind of guy to complete your home right me back please. (actually right even if I’m not just to keep in order my search (: ) Thank you for your time and enjoy the rest of the day, Daniel.
