A La Trobe MBA Student, enrolling in mid Feb 2017. Simple, easy-going decent dude if I have to say so myself. I'm into music and spiritualism. Pretty carefree most of the time.
Hi my name is Dat. I am a working professional who is looking for a place close to the city. I am pretty easy going, open minded and considerate of others. Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports/going to the gym and going out to bars for a drink or two.
Hi my name is Lauren. I'm 27 and working full time in government, in a role with varied and sometimes long hours so will be out and about a bit. When I'm not working I like to get outdoors as much as possible, whether it be the beach, hiking or riding, I just generally like being outdoors! I like to also go to whatever sporting event is on in Melbourne, and check out gigs where I can. I'm an easy going and energetic person, who loves a chat and a drink with th people I live with, but am also respectful of space having lived in a couple of share houses. I am ideally trying to look for a place that can also accomodate my little 6 year old Jack Russell Emma (I did not name her haha). She's a little dog who loves a snuggle, isn't a barker and generally chills during the day when she's not begging for a walk, and likes sitting outside watching for possums at night. She can sleep in or outside.
I'm a easy going, fun-loving guy. I'm currently work full-time in a corporate professional environment (I.T Professional). I'm originally from Mount Waverley and currently renting in South Melbourne. I like to stay fit and hit the gym most week days and on the weekends I like to chill with friends.
Evie!!!!! I'm the one in the red skirt!!! 21!!!! Tall!!!!! Friendly!!! 3 orders away from a free meal on menulog!!!!!! I am working full time in customer service for CrownBet in the CBD. I can touch type 40 words and I've a full driving license with two points on it. I've a decent knowledge of geography. And a basic award in water safety!!!!!!!!! Anyway, simple girl simple pleasures. Currently staying with my beefy BF for a bit, looking for a room in a chill house with happy lovely people. Not a party gal these days what with work keeping me busy but like bottle of fat lamb and a George Michael sing along every now and again. Respectful of your private space and treasure my own. Love my down time hiding under the covers but enjoy cooking a meal together or having a cuppa on the couch while watching a monthly fail compilation on youtube. Clean up after myself and strongly oppose dishes in the sink for longer than 6 hours!!!! In between work, friends and family I'm not home a huge deal but when I am i'm usually just laying low. Ultimately wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin' and plannin' and dreamin' for a place with some people who are down to earth, respectful, honest and fun to be around. In return I can offer all that and more. More shitty pop culture references if you want but completely understand if you don't. I'm a hard working gal who just wants a home I can call home and house mates I can call friends. Hit me up if you think we'd get along. Cheers, Evie!!!
I am a full-time student studying master of architecture design currently in RMIT as well as having my part-time job. I have been in Melourne for 2 years. I keep tidy and clean in my space as well as cleaning public area sometimes. I don't smoke and don't like drag. I enjoy having a night in with movies and mates but also enjoy checking out restaurants and bars. I am into music, painting, reading, movies, swimming, photography and biking, recently i am making some interesting graphic by programming. When i am free, i like hanging out to discover new restaurants, new places and fitness or staying at home for cooking or cleaning. Meanwhile, I love chatting with people, for sharing our stories and exchange our opinion. I am a gay, so definitly LGBTI+ friendly. I like to live in a clean and tidy home and am looking for people who agree. I am considerable and kind and would like to make new friends and share life and happy time with my potential lovely roommates. I also would love to share my food and hang out with roommates as well as respect your privacy and keep independence for myself. I took an apartment by myself and manage it, and I lived with more than 6 people in 2 years. Therefore, I think I really know how to get along with my new roommates. Ideally, I hope the room is furnished and prefer to live with males in house or town house which is less than 5 people, and fast speed internet, if there is a garden or yard, it would be perfect. Nor sharing room. I can move in February, but i can also move in Jan if the room is really what I am looking for.
I am a 25 year old, non-smoking, easy going guy who loves to create animations, illustrations and paint, cook and chat to like minded people. I work fulltime at RMIT University teaching Digital Media, but I love to relax, watch movies or work on creative projects in my downtime.
Hi! I'm a 26 yr old newly graduate nurse working casually as a disability carer until my grad position starts in May. I'm an experienced share house dweller very friendly, tidy, reliable and incredibly easygoing and am looking for a positive space that i can make my home. I am generally pretty busy and sometimes work weird hours but when I'm around i love being able to have a chat over wine or cups of tea or sharing a meal. I come as a package deal with my dog Wesley who is a 9 mth old Aussie Bulldog who is very affectionate (loves a cuddle) and is also very chilled out happy to hang by himself outside during the day. i'm looking for a room in a house that has fellow dog loving people or happy to find others to look for a house together. Preferably I'd like to share with 1 or 2 others (happy to live with couples) and am looking in northern suburbs.
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. I don't party hard, but I am sociable and always happy for a chat or a glass of wine. I'm studying psychology and a cert IV in Mental Health, I volunteer at a telephone crisis line for women, and I work 4-5 shifts a week at a part-time hospitality job. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you!
We have a large bedroom (about 4m x 4m) with a built-in robe available to rent from Monday 6 February in our friendly 4 BR sharehouse in Westgarth (Northcote). After 5+ years of living in the house, our departing housemate has just completed her second Masters (!!) and finally has time to travel before she heads to Canada to work for a while. The available bedroom is unfurnished and is situated at the rear of the upper level, overlooking the backyard (which includes a stunning Hill’s hoist clothesline). It's available from Monday 6 February. House-wise we have most things... except Holly will be taking the second fridge, one couch, TV and washing machine - so we’re in the process of working out who/what/how/if these will be replaced. Rent: $585* per calendar month (due on the 4th) Bond: $625 Other costs: - Fortnightly cleaners @ $45 each per month - Wireless internet @ $20 each per month - Utilities – water, gas and electricity – billed monthly or bi-monthly *Total cost for house per month is $2,500. The front rooms are slightly more as they are a bit bigger and have balcony access. Bond is split evenly between the four tenants - not 4 weeks' rent as stated above - there was no suitable option!! It’s hard to convey here, but the house is in really good condition. It's not cheap because it’s falling apart. It’s really just a super good deal. One of us has even lived here for almost 13 years. Yes, 13 years. We pay our landlord in cash (which keeps the cost down) so he or his wife come around for about 5 minutes once a month to collect the rent (just one of us needs to be here for that). They live in Thornbury so are nearby and very responsive for repairs or anything else house-related. About the house - 4BR house in Northcote (Westgarth area) - Ducted air con upstairs and ducted central heating downstairs - Security shutters on all windows - Dishwasher - yay! We also have fortnightly cleaners to keep the house spick and span. - All bedrooms have built-in robes - 2 x bathrooms and 2 x separate toilets - The house was painted inside and out and also re-carpeted in July 2014 - Garage that is currently used for general storage and storing of bikes - Close to #86 tram as well as Rushall (South Morang line) and Westgarth (Hurstbridge line). Within walking distance to #112 tram and #250 and #251 buses among others. - 5 minutes’ walk from the Westgarth Strip, including Palace Cinema and various bars/cafes and amazing gelato!
We're both very easygoing soon-to-be film students at RMIT and come from a theatre background - we love all things music and performance related. Sean loves to play guitar and video games in his spare time, whilst I enjoy cooking, reading and watching films. We both like to be active and would also love the occasional housemate tea! We're clean, tidy and respectful people and are looking for an already-established share house as this will be our first time living in Melbourne :) Ps. We have many brand new home accessories which we can bring if required - particularly things that belong in the kitchen such as pots, pans, teacups etc.
Hi, I'm Shannen, 21, and work as a nanny in Clifton Hill. I have a playful Staffordshire Bull Terrior who loves people, is toilet trained and doesn't chew or dig. She spends her days outside ( need fenced backyard) and only comes inside when I'm home. I love a good tv series and spend my weekends socialising or with family. I'm tidy and respectful of communal spaces. Am always up for a chat/drink but also happy to keep to myself.
Hello fellow flatmates! We are Amelia and Nikki, two young fun loving melbournites looking for 2 rooms in a share house to park our little cabooses in! I am Amelia and I have just finished my nursing degree and waiting to start my job as a nurse in July. In the mean time, to make the coin, I am a real life Mary Poppins! Nikki is a full time entertainment management student who works at several music venues, slinging beers and stamping bitches! We are incredibly clean, love a good cook up, always up for beers and gasbag, and we will always be having a laugh and we wouldn't describe ourselves as mundane at all! We also respect fellow housemates privacy and quiet times. We have also have rental history. We look forward to finding our perfect amigos! Amelia and Nikki
Hmm lets see here. I'm very passionate about traveling, fitness, and keeping up with the friends I really care about. I love life and squeezing the most out of it. I'm always keen to meet people from new cultures and learn about their lives. In the past I've worked in several NGOs, taught English, and hospitality,/service industry. I'm from the states but I can confidently say I'm not you're stupid stereotypical American. I'm laid back, outgoing, considerate, and fun to be around. Always up for a beer and a laugh, but not an obnoxious party animal. Anyways really looking forward to living here and making new friends!
We are clean, easy going and friendly. We work during the week and enjoy exploring Melbourne on the weekends. We are looking for a 4 week stay until another lease starts mid-March. Please let us know if you have any questions!

I love a clean home. I'm friendly and happy to hang out at home but also love to have time to myself spending it with friends, or venturing around Melbourne. I love cooking, music, gardening and spend a lot of time drawing or messing around with something crafty. I'm originally from Newcastle but have lived in Melbourne for 8 years now so this is definitely home. I work part time in a cute little shop in the city and the other half of the time I sell my artwork at craft markets in Melbourne.
Friendly, easy-going and respectful couple looking for a place to call home in Thornbury, Northcote or Preston. I am from the UK and my partner, Ryan, is from Melbourne. We are both currently working full time and enjoy fairly relaxed evenings in the week and are always up for a drink and laugh at the weekends. We are pretty flexible with our legnth of stay - preferably a minimum of 2 months. We are both working full time in Melbourne and would ideally like to find a 1 bedroom flat to rent, but also happy to share with other friendly, easy-going people.

I love animals, especially dogs so I'm easy. I'm good with the occasional house party, but I'd rather a quiet night in or some close friends over for a chill. I'm all the usual things, neat, respectful, independent, responsible etc. I like to keep busy doing theatre when I'm not working/studying/eating/sleeping, so that'll take up a lot of my semesters. I want a house I can can home, somewhere to retreat and unwind.
Hi guys! My name is Tess, I'm 27 years old, single, have successfully lived out of home in share houses since I was 19, and am about to commence full time work as a vet. I am friendly, easy going, clean, tidy and very respectful of others things and space. I'd ideally love a room with an ensuite, and preferably in the more northern suburbs so I'm not a huge commute from work! I love movies, playing the guitar badly, and wine and cheese. I make a mean cheesecake.
30 yr old male who likes good people, good times and most forms of music. By trade I'm an office worker but I am a country solo artist as well as bass and guitar in various indie bands. Easy going, reliable, happy to be on lease, etc. I am a smoker but one that knows it has to be outside! I like the usual things - reading, playing guitar and watching Netflix but I miss the camaraderie of a good social oriented share house. I'm regularly out at/playing gigs but I do enjoy hanging out, especially during summer. - Move date negotiable. - Northcote/Thornbury. - Early 20's to late 30's max. - Prefer musical/arty types. - Min. 3BDR places only.
Hey! I'm a 25-year old female who just found out she needs to move from Canberra to Melbourne within the next 3 weeks for work! I work full-time and my new office is in Elizabeth street so looking for something close by, north Melbourne area. I am also an almost qualified yoga teacher so to my future flatmate(s) that means *free yoga!!!* I like food, tea, laughter and sunshine. 😊😊😊 I'm easygoing and enjoy general cleanliness; if my values speak to you, I'd love to get in touch!

Hi, I’m Ben! I’m a software developer currently living in Parkville. By day I work full time for an agency making iPhone apps, and by night I’m involved in musical theatre, both on and off the stage. In my down time you’ll usually find me playing piano (with headphones if it's a bother of course), enjoying a video game, or cooking with a wine in hand. I am tidy, friendly, and enjoy sharing the occasional wine and meal with my housemates. If you think this nerd would be a good fit for your place, please send me a message!
Hello! I work in hospitality and am in the process of relocating to Melbourne. I've lived in Sydney all of my adult life in shared housing situations, and have gotten along well with a good mix of people. I prefer living in a place where the occupants are happy to mingle and socialise, especially over drinks and/or food, but understand the need for personal space as well. I enjoy cooking at home, and will be bringing a bunch of cool kitchen toys with me! At other times I run fairly regularly for exercise, or play video games on the computer. My work hours will very likely be late and long. I do my best to keep things quiet when I come home late and have never had complaints from the other 9-5ers I live with. I don’t have a pet but love animals, so I’m happy to feed or walk/exercise your pets. I’m looking for a long-term home (6 months or more) and would like to move around the 1st of February, with some flexibility. I should have a job by then but if you’re (understandably) apprehensive, I’m open to discussing arrangements for contingencies or a guarantee of some sort.
Hello potential housemates. I am a 21 year old female currently working in retail & modelling. I am outgoing, friendly and love a good chat but also respect mine and your alone time. I am LGBTQ+ & 420 friendly. I am currently living on the Mornington Peninsula but would like to be closer to Melbourne CBD. Interested in starting a share house also. Would love to meet up and see how we get along! Thanks.
I'm well independent. Very clean, tidy and a great company for chats, dining and drinks. Love trying out new restaurants and cafes a bit of a foodie - definitely that type who would instagram my food plus I do love food photography and I'm hoping to make a career out of it. I'm a barista and photographer by trade. Can make you a cup of coffee or an espresso martini anytime, any day. I'm doing personal growth thing and have decided to move to Melbourne from the Gold Coast. I have visited Melbourne a handful of times and I fell in love with the city. I'm looking for a room with preferable my own bathroom and a secure carpark. I have some furniture and a coffee machine that I'll be bringing with me. Ideal flat mates would be sociable people but respects privacy as well. We can chat and party if need be or watch Netflix docu or chick fliks cause we can. I'll be focusing on my health and career once I move to Melbourne so it would be nice to settle in a cool place with you all.
We are currently housemates and are looking for a new place to live with easy going, social people. Maria (23) is a norwegian student at la trobe studying creative writing, and Drew (20) works full time. A deal breaker for us is a messy kitchen, so as long as you clean up after yourself we will along fine! And lucky for you, Maria tends to clean the whole house when she is stressed. Both of us are social and like having a drink/meal with whoever we live with from time to time, but won't bother you if you're busy/studying/taking a nap. We're all for housemates bringing friends over as long as they're respectful to those with early mornings. Basically we're laid back people that joke around a lot, play angry games of monopoly, drink beer and make fun of Maria when she doesn't understand something Australian. PS: Drew tells dad jokes and Maria bakes when she's bored, what more could you ask for?
