I'm Maisie, 25 and from the UK. I currently work in office administration while finding the time for more creative pursuits such as illustration, sewing and knitting. I'm very clean and tidy and respectful of people's privacy. I'm social, often seeing friends in the evenings and down for drinks and cooking. In my spare time I enjoy the movies (I go to the cinema a lot), live music, reading and chilling with friends - often whilst knitting/ drinking/ playing cards. I enjoy keeping a clean home and having a space to take pride in and that's welcoming and relaxing.
The house is a completely detached, spacious and beautifully appointed home. It comes complete with new furnishings and appliances, linen and towels. There is loads of natural light, two bedrooms (one queen and one double, both with 3-door inbuilt wardrobes and desks), two bathrooms, a huge gourmet kitchen, two living areas (one also doubles as a games room with ping pong table). There is a courtyard, both bedrooms are upstairs, north facing and take in an uninterrupted view of the street as there are no buildings nearby. There is central heating to keep you toasty in winter and also ducted cooling throughout for the summer. All bills and internet included. The train and several bus lines are a 1 minute walk away. Trendy High St Northcote is a short stroll with trams, cinema, restaurants, cafes and bars. Fairfield village is also nearby. Fairfield park and Yarra bend are 5 minutes from the house with natural bush land, Yarra river, walking/running and cycling trails. All this and only 5 km from the city! All bills and internet included.
I work at a school in the design department, helping kids design and build their creations. I love to cook and i'm always happy to help out my house mates with anything they need! I also love to rock climb, paint and build things!
Hi I'm Rachel, 25 years old and working full time in the CBD in a Social Housing job. I am from England and have been travelling South East Asia and Australia for the past year. I love food, eating out, meeting people and gaming. I am a relatively good cook and I'm a tidy person, I clean up after myself. I'm not a huge party person but am always partial to a glass of wine or a gin! I'm currently in a house share with 5 men, so I have more of a preference to live with girls! Thanks :)
Hey everyone, Looking for somewhere to stay close-ish to the CBD, if anyone has a room free please let me know! I am also open to starting a new sharehouse if anyone is looking for someone to join-up. About me: I recently moved from Perth - enjoy a bunch of things like cooking, gardening, camping/outdoors, seeing live music, festivals, skateboarding and taking photos. I'm pretty easygoing and respectful to my housemates, always tidy and considerate. I like a good balance between spending time on my own and with housemates and would be up for dinners and drinks together. I'm flexible with move-in date and length of stay, I'll be studying at the unimelb for the next two years.
I'm a full time strength coach and a competitive powerlifter! My loves are lifting, good food and plants/greenery. I'm ridiculously friendly, but I like having home as a place for down time - so I'm not a big entertainer. Totally not opposed to house dinners or movie nights though!
Hey there, I'm a ex-kiwi, ex-Qlder, long term Melbournite recently returned from two years working in The Netherlands and travelling around Europe every chance I had. I like to swim, garden and get to the beach regularly where my family are now based. I have a 4yo dog, Billy, who keeps me moving and giggling. I’m looking to live somewhere with friendly people who like casual convos but happy to give lots of space too. I’m sometimes vegetarian and make eco-conscious choices with products & practices. A tidy house, early bill payments and live respectfully is just what I do. I have full-time permanent employment in Rosanna so ideally want a 12month lease within easy commute (but thinking even longer term). I am looking for a stable home rather than a transition house. If this sounds like a good match, I’d love to hear from you! Cheers, Katy
My name is Sandeep, I’m 26 and I am from Hamburg, Germany. I came to Australia almost three months ago with a program for students, who are at the end of their teaching degree. Currently I am finishing my master thesis and work as a Assistant Teacher for German at the Victorian School of Languages and will be staying until the end of the school year in December. I work 4-5 times a week and am very tidy and sociable. As my thesis is due in June, right now I pretty much only sit in the library in my spare time. But apart from that I like to go to the gym, meet friends and explore Melbourne. I am experienced in living in a shared flat. If you have any questions, please message me. Looking forward to hear from you 🙂 Cheers, Sandeep
My name is Deanne, I'm 30 years old, I work full time as a Fashion Designer and Garment Production Assistant. A bit about me...I have a good sense of humour I like having a good laugh and love being social. I'm spontaneous, very open minded and calm. I also like having some time to myself to relax. I can't live without friends, family, music, dancing, good food and wine, beach/ swimming in the ocean, I love to travel. I'm currently living in a share house in Thornbury (the only reason I need to move is because the property has been sold) I really enjoy the family vibe it can have as well as time to ourselves. I'm very neat and tidy, always on time with rent payments. I respect other peoples privacy and space, I do enjoy interacting with my house mates and having a shared meal and a wine from time to time. I work full time Monday to Friday, so during week nights I like to keep it low key I'll cook, catch up with friends for dinner and wines, do yoga, watch a movie. On the weekends I'm mostly out and about with friends.
Hey, my names Jacob and I've been in Melbourne for about a year and a half. I'm laid back, don't take myself to seriously and love to explore or chill. I'm moving out at the end of this month (April) and am hoping to find a tidy, easygoing and fun housemate/s. I love reading, gaming, exploring the outdoors, working out and exploring what Melbourne has to offer. I'm not a party animal and I'm hoping to find friendly housemates that enjoy drinks or catching up after work. Feel free to hit me up with any questions if you have any!
Hello :) I am an Art/English teacher. I have moved back from Brisbane about a month ago..so ideally I would like to move in fairly soon. I have a very sweet, gentle natured, calm and toilet trained poodle by the name of Winston. He is very attached to me so he wouldn't really bother anyone as he is my shadow. He doesn't shed any fur. I am very bubbly, clean and organised person who likes other like minded people. I like the usual things such as; wine and cheese, socialising with friends and sometimes with housemates. But I mainly do my own thing and go out with my friends quite often. So basically between work at 7am-5pm and my social life, I won't be home for more than half of the week. However, I usually take my dog with me, except working hours. This doesn't mean that I will use the house like a hotel either. I just have a very active life :) I would like to share a house with 27+ - 40 year old people (male or female). I would prefer to be in a bigger household as there is more fun to be had in a bigger space. Looking forward to hearing from you! Esin :)
Hey, I'm Claire. Arriving into Melbourne after five months travelling across South East Asia. Previously lived in London for five years and my last job was a Marketing Manager for an autism charity. Prior to that I've lived in Hungary and Russia - I love to travel! I'm friendly, polite, respectful and clean. I love cooking, especially for other people. I have a busy social life with fitness, yoga, cinema, arts stuff and going for dinner and drinks with friends but I'm looking to find somewhere to enjoy a night-in and call home. I'd like to find housemates that I can explore this new city with! If you would like to know any more about me, please get in touch.
I’m currently working full time in Fairfield and looking for a place long term, preferably close to work. I’m available to move in whenever. I’m very easy going and quite a clean person. I’ve lived in a few share houses before and can adapt to new environments very easily :) If you want to know anymore, feel free to ask :)
I moved to Melbourne from Denmark 5 years ago and absolutely fell in love with the place. I have since progressed in my career and made great friends here which keeps me busy during the week. I an very easy going and I love a good chat/deeper conversation and generally just hanging out with fun people. I have been living with a partner for the last 5 years, so I am very used to sharing a space and respecting other peoples way of living. On my weekends I am usually going camping, mountain biking, hiking etc. If I stay in Melbourne I go to a lot of gigs, out for dinner drinks, dance and other fun adventures! I am looking to share a space with someone who is as easy going and personable, but still with a good understanding for sharing a space.
Myeongseob and I are a friendly, optimistic couple. I am an elementary ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher from America. Myeongseob is a chef from South Korea, where we both currently reside. We are both respectful and responsible people looking forward to living in Australia!
I am studying sports management at La Trobe University and I am about to finish my studies in July. I really like listening to music and going to music festivals. I like to exercise and stay fit. I like cooking also but I don't really cook much. Netflix and video games are also my thing. Really like meeting new people, sharing experiences with them and going out as well. I am a very easy going person might be little shy initially but would definitely get along. I know how to live in a sharing house and respect people's space, privacy or anything it is. I have lived with people from 5 different countries so far here in Australia so I think this has made me slightly wiser about how to appreciate and respect people from different backgrounds. I think that's pretty much about me. Looking for long term and I am a 25 years old guy from India currently in Northcote.
Originally from California, I'm currently a few months into the second year of my working holiday visa and plan to stay in Melbourne until my visa expires on 30/11/18. I’m moving out of my current house in Reservoir on May 8th, and my ideal new place would be in Northcote or a nearby suburb. A bit about me: I'm an inquisitive travel-addict whose mission is to experience as much of life as possible. My passions include the circus arts (specifically poi spinning) writing, festivals, and urban exploring, and I'm virtually always keen for an adventure. I derive my income from an assortment of side hustles, such as one-on-one poi lessons, teaching poi workshops at festivals, and bartending/serving at events. I'm paradoxically social and introverted - I love meeting and connecting with people, but it's also important for me to have time alone to recharge. As a housemate, I'm clean, quiet, respectful, and I always seek to make the place I'm living feel as much like a "home" as possible. The best way to gauge if we'd be a good fit is to meet in person, so let me know when I can stop by for a tour and a chat!

Hey, I'm looking for a pet-friendly place (or team-up) for preferably 12 months. I have a dogfaced baby, but can provide references/pet-bond. I rise early, walk Taco, do ballet workout, shower, head out. I'll be studying in the city, working in hospitality, and animal rescue. We need a dog-friendly place where Taco will be treated like a member of the household, not "treated like a dog." Always pay rent and bills on time, have done so for 8 years straight. First picked up work when I was 9. I'm ambitious, a hardworker- only on hiatus til I find a place in Melbourne. Taco is a house-trained Pointer X. Excited to make new friends, and go a lot more adventures! I take care of Taco 100% + clean as I go, all the usual stuff! I'm chill, need ample time alone for study, but love to laugh and mess around with housemates (when not too busy) Secure outdoor area. Private room. Anywhere 10 mins (1km walk) from a station is mint! If you're experienced, friendly and chill message us! ^_^♡☆ Luna and Taco🐾
We are a group of friends, 2 Chileans and 1 Italian. All of us professionals at what we doe. Maurizio is a really classy guy, easy going, lover of new experiences and different cultures. He is the manager of Mr Bianco , italian restaurant in Kew. Benjamin is the other Chilean, he has an exceptional energy, he is a chef but also loves working with nature and he is a specialist on compost making. We actually live together and we are looking for something more quiet and private, we love the ambiance we bring with us everywhere. I'm sure if you meet us you will find people that is interesting and joyful as much as responsible.
As part of a fellowship program, I'll be working with the Melbourne government starting this upcoming early June. I'm currently looking for a place to live with convenient access to the Central Business District. Some random information about me: - I'm a 22 year old from New York City, which to some might mean arrogant and uptight, but I assure you I'm very friendly! (Some have said, 'frighteningly friendly.') - List of things I like: Politics, history, animals, silly memes, Indian food. - Since this will be my first time in Australia, between working and exploring, I probably won't be spending too much time indoors. Although I'm going to go to a bunch of your fabulous restaurants, I'll cook once in a while too. - I don't care what you identify as in terms of race/ethnicity, sexual identity, etc, as long as you are kind and respectful. - I can leave flatmates alone and let you have plenty of your own personal space, but I'd love to have flatmates who are open to telling me all about Australia or adventuring with me! :--)
