AMAZING NORTHCOTE LOCATION: Available for rent is an unfurnished queen sized bedroom which is part of a furnished two bedroom two bathroom apartment which has amazing views of the city, facing Merri Creek with everything you could possibly need at your doorstep! Only a 6 km walk to the city, 350 m (4 mins) walk to Merri Train Station, 260 m (3 mins) walk to 11 tram stop and 850 m (10 mins) walk to 86 tram stop. The apartment building is situated off the High Street and Brunswick St is just a short 5 min tram ride on the 11 tram. The apartment itself is an open plan design with beautiful timber flooring. The kitchen flows out to a air-conditioned/heated dining area complete with a study nook. The open living area flows onto a small balcony that is perfect for a quiet get together for a drink or dinner. The bedrooms include heating and air conditioning. The under cover car park will become available once my housemate moves out and this also includes a generously sized storage cage.
Right in the heart of Northcote. A stones throw from High Street. Very easy access to trams and trains direct into the city. Around the corner from cafes, bars, restaurants, live music venues and clubs. However, still very quiet in the flat.

I'm Lucas. I work (pretty much) full time in the Homelessness / Youth Work sector and I'm on the hunt for an established share house or someone keen to find a place. Short or long term depending on the place. So i'm 24, love (trying) to stay fit and healthy but for the sake of sanity, don't mind a beer or wine too. I'm a lover of adventure and particularly getting outdoors when I can. A backyard would be a sweet sweet bonus. I'm keen to start some vege gardening too if there's a bit of space and would be keen to make this a shared project if there was another housemate keen. I love to cook, but mostly I love to eat anything delicious and vegetarian. I do like my own space a bit, as I'm a studying online part time as well as working full time in a field where you are constantly chatting with other people so some arvo's after work you might find me doing my own thing to unwind a bit. I am also kept pretty busy between work, study and training But that doesn't mean I don't make time to be social and have a chat and a beer, or a run or adventure to some mountain to climb. I'd love to find some people with similar interests and a similar lifestyle to live with! If you think we could be a good fit, let me know...
My name is Chels, 24, and I am currently looking for somewhere to reside in the Melbourne area. I currently have been living with my parents for the last 2 years and need a change of scenery. I previously lived out of home, for 3 and a half years. I have a few rental references if you want some background and if you’d like to contact some of my previous housemates I can give you their email addresses. I am a musician (I play saxophone, clarinet, flute, guitar, sing) and I sometimes do practise during the day. If this is in any way disruptive I am very happy to do all my practise at work/elsewhere. I have a partner who visits me semi-regularly. I am an instrumental teacher who works at different schools in the Melbourne area. I am quite a tidy person - anyone who knows me knows that I love things to be clean and neat, which makes me very easy to live with if you share the same ideals. I will disclose that I am a vegan, but I am not affected in the slightest by anyone else’s dietary decisions. I’m not someone who pushes any agendas or ideals, as I love and accept everyone. If I sound like the right type of candidate for your household, I’d love to hear back from you! Even just for coffee and a chat and see where we go from there. Kindest regards, Chels
Move date: 10th January 2018 - max. from end of Dec. I'm a female photographer, a creative person, have a degree in cultural anthropology and now I'm a mature age student of Latrobe University - Bachelor of Nursing aiming to do preventative health promotion rather than traditional nursing. I'm fairly social and active, but craving my own quiet time between, I prefer a chilled home. I love art, I'm conscious of the environment, politics and social justice. I'm fun loving mix of extrovert and introvert qualities. I have traveled extensively and love cultural diversity. I like to cook healthy, maintain a clean environment, I'm out going on the weekends. I don't drink (other than the odd glass of a craftie), but rather socialize out and about, see an exhibition, be in nature, listen to music or go for a boogie with friends. I'm considerate, respect other people's privacy and property. I'm fine with smokers as long as it's outdoor. I like to find a good balance in spending time with my flat mates, have fun, creating a great vibe, and also to let them to be. I'm looking forward hearing from you. Cheers, Zita
Hi my name is Alex, I'm a 27 year old Primary School teacher. I'm friendly and outgoing, but respectful of people's desire for peace and quiet. I am normally at work from 8 - 5/6. I enjoy cooking, socialising and relaxing. I am happy to clean and am always organised when it comes to paying bills/rent
I'm Dugald. I work in Brunswick, ride my bike as much as I can, do pilates several times a week and enjoy salmon to the point where I've founded SalmonClub™ with a friend (open to membership enquiries). I see a home as a quiet space to relax and unwind after long days at work while co-inhabiting a space with someone who has a mix of needing their own space/downtime as well as hanging out cooking or enjoying a gin and some good tunes.
Hi, my (legal and given) name is Tu (pronounced like the number "2" but with a tone raise in the end) but you can call me Danny. I'm a 20-year-old full-time student at Swinburne University. I'm moving to Melbourne this July to commence my study for my Bachelor degree in Design as an international student from Vietnam. I'm currently looking for a room for me and another friend of mine. The best scenario would be 2 private rooms but we can make do with one room for both of us to share. We're both males and are looking for a place to stay during the 2 years of our education in the uni. Our maximum budget per week is $200/person but can be higher if it includes the bills. Our school locates in Hawthorne so we are looking for rooms in the same area or in the surrounding suburbs that are near to public transport. As a flatmate, I'm clean, very organized and well-disciplined as I have worked part-time in a restaurant for 2 years beforehand. Housechore is a familiar thing for me since I help my parents doing it a lot at my home in Vietnam, so I will happy to assist you with any chores. To describe my personality, I would say I'm an ambivert, I can talk for hours with you but can also respect your boundary and personal space whenever you need them (and expect the opposite). I'm also an active listener and very open to communication (as part of my career's traits) so if there are any problems, I'm all for an honest discussion. My favorite pastime activities are watching Youtube videos + Netflix series (currently on my watchlist is The Society and Stranger Things). Favorite artists of mine include Lauv, Troye Sivan. Halsey, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift but I'm always open to new artist/genre. One small note is that I'm openly gay so it would be awesome if my flatmates are allies/members of LGBTQ+ community.
