Our big cute artsy gay sharehouse is looking for a new addition! A 2min walk from Middle Footscray station/Vic Uni, we're super close to all the basics (shops, gyms, public transport, a bunch of pubs) and only 15 minutes from the CBD. The house itself is 6 bedrooms (although we use one as a lounge/music room!) with two bathrooms and a huge backyard, where we can often be found having some beers around the fire. The building's in ok nick but there's no heating/cooling so byo on that front! We're definitely a little family, so we'd love to find someone who gets along well with us and is super respectful. Being trans/queer friendly is a must :) Looking for someone ASAP!

Hi I’m Mel! I’m a professional working full time in the city. I’m looking for somewhere nice and close to the city. I’m very neat and tidy and respectful of other people. I enjoy getting outdoors and exploring new places but also enjoy a quiet night in. I can be found baking, outdoors or hanging out at the gym in my spare time. I’m reliable and easy going and enjoy being around other people. I am looking for a private room somewhere near the city and close to a train line. I’m looking for fellow housemates that are clean and tidy and know how to clean up after themselves. I would prefer a quiet and respectful housemate that isn’t up at all hours of the night making loud noises. Always up for brunch or a wine and cheese night with my fellow housemates let’s not be strangers! (Please note that I am not a drug person and would best suit a drug-free household) If you think I would suit your household please message me :)
During the weekdays I'll be at Victoria University, footscray park, for my internship. In the evenings and in the weekend I'm totally in for some socialising but I'm also fine on my own and I'm looking for a place that will give me some privacy. I'm down to earth, easy going and always try to keep everything clean. Besides that I'm always down for a drink and a laugh.
Hi Everyone, 50 year old professional straight guy. Spend most of my spare time outdoors engaging in endurance sports such as trail running, triathlons and mountain biking. When not out training or exploring, I enjoy relaxing at the beach, markets and winery trips. All this means I am not home much, however I am house trained and house proud, owning a few properties myself in NSW and QLD. Not into drugs of any nature and only occasionally have a few drinks. Not looking for a party house however am hoping to find a mature, fun, lively environment, clean and organised - a place to call home! Over the past 8 years I've shared with one other in various different homes, with each lasting over 1.5 years - ranging from girls in their 20's to 40's, including a mum with her 8 year old son, a guy and his girlfriend etc. Usually out of the house by 6am and often not back much before 7pm. Have National Police Clearance Certificate (NPC) and references. Thanks Andrew. PS - thanks to the dozens of people who have contacted me offering a room in a share houses that will be occupied by 4 people and more. Whilst I appreciate the offers and promises of order, cleanliness, and no anti-social behavior or sad sacks, for the last 6 years I've always found a place living with just one other person and prefer to pursue this option for the time being. Thanks again.
I'm a 30 year old male from north queensland moving to melbourne for work. I would like to live close to my depot in the footscray area or areas in the direct vicinity. I work a 24/7 shift roster so I will be starting and finishing at some weird times with some stints being 30-40hrs away from home. Being a shift worker for 10 years and living in numerous share houses I am respectful of quiet time and personal space. I'm clean, responsible, considerate and have my own vehicle. I have 5 days to move from the whitsundays to melbourne before I start my new job (thats including the possible 3 day drive) so the less I have to buy/shift the better. Happy to stay at least 6 months or longer all going well. Wanting a private room roughly 200/wk. Will consider other prices. Arrival 11-13th Oct

Hi Everyone! I'm looking for someone to team up and find a place together! I've actually already been approved for a place in Yarraville but seeing as I only just started looking this week I'm keen to see if there's anything else better (I like a good place!) So I'm Zak and I'm a 28 year old graphic designer, born and bred in Melbourne! Like to keep active, socialise but also like time to myself. Very tidy person (ok I'm a neat freak) and very considerate of others. Like to relax after a long day at work and happy to chat and have a drink with my housemate. I've mostly sub-let other rooms before so I have all the furniture and appliances for a place but happy to be flexible about what goes in the place. This is mostly why I'm looking to team up with someone as I'd like to avoid putting all my stuff in storage! If I sound like the right person for you feel free to get in contact with me!
Hi, I'm Luca from Italy. I'm looking for an accomodation in Footscray or Seddon area. I'm working at one of the cafe in Footscray at the moment, and I'm going to study from next year, thing that will keep me in Australia for at least 2 other years. I'm a very friendly and easy going guy, like to know new people and open to different cultures. i'm a very clean person and I can cook italian meals properly as a plus. In my spare time I like to see new places, go around the city or sometime write or paint, trying to explore my creative side. I'm looking also for people to join me in a teamup and get a place in the area, thing that I find very money wise for everyone. Ok, so this is a bit of me, hope I will hear from you soon. Ciao, Luca

Hello, I'm Chloé Tellier, I'm 20 and I'm French. I am in an engineering school in Rennes (France), in agronomy and biology. For my studies, I will do an internship in Victoria University (in the suburb of Footscray), during September to January. I'm very excited to come in Australia ! I'm looking for a place to live, preferably a sharehouse with others foreigners. I'm easy to live. I'm clean, orderly and respectful. I love watching movies, partying, eating, visiting ... I don't speak very well English, but I'm working on this ! :) I love the idea to live in a sharehouse, because that would permit to me to progress. I have already lived in colocation with my bestfriend, and in a boarding school during my first year of engineering school.
Moved here from Brisbane last year to study criminal justice at Victoria University. I have been living at uni accomodation but I’m ready to move out into a bigger place I can make my own. I’m easy going, clean and respectful. I am always down for a chat but also appreciate some alone time. I work part time so between my job and university I love to make the most of my free time by exploring the city, going on day trip or socialising over few drinks (or more than a few) I am ready to move in now or if any of you are looking to team up as well because I would also love to find my own place with a few people
I'm a 30-something professional who needs a quiet space to relax after work. I pay bills on time (usually early) and like to keep things tidy. Easy to get along with. I don't smoke and have no pets. I'm into tabletop games, comedy and sci-fi on Netflix. I like to eat healthy food and coffee is essential to my diet. :) I am LGBTI-friendly. Happy to occasionally chat over wine or go out for breakfast on a weekend. :) Because of where I work, it's important I live near a tram or train that goes direct to the city in 30 minutes or less.
Hi ! I'm ideally looking for flatmates who have a sense of humour and are not adverse to having a quiet beer or two after work or weekends, but at the same time are respectful of other peoples privacy and are considerate. I know how to do dishes and clean up after myself and would very highly rate those that do too. I work fulltime in an office job in the CBD (exciting, eh?) and like to chill out when at home - movies (Wes Anderson is God), watching sport (rugby, rugby league and cricket) and all that kind of thing.
Hi all. My name is Michal and I am a construction engineer, 30. I am pretty laid back, easy to get on with and looking for some like minded people to share a house with. I am originally from Prague although I have lived in several places over the past few years and with Melbourne being my home for the last two. I really enjoy meeting new people, travelling and participating in outdoor sports like mountain biking, skiing, running or hiking. I have three bikes that I would like to keep indoors or in a garage and having this option in the flat share is important for me. I do not mind if my flatmates have a pet or two, actually I would probably really enjoy it. :) During the week I work full time, so week nights are generally quite for me, although an evening having a chat, sharing a dinner and/or a good wine/beer is always welcome. Weekends I often spend outside Melbourne. When in Melbourne I am keen for a brunch or an occasional gig/concert in the evening. I would like to find roomies I can call mates and people who are tidy and considerate like myself. If you feel we could be a good match give me a shout. Also happy to get together a group of people for a new house share too.
I'm a 28 year old working full time in the city. Interests include football, socialising, running, outdoor activities, reading and music. Very generic I know. Fairly clean and house-trained. Would like to have housemates that are cool to hang out with and have a wine or two after work but at the same time respect each other's space and privacy.
I'm a 22 year old student and part time worker who wants to find a home- not just a house. I’m well share-house trained, and the only place I’m messy is my bedroom! I’m a quite social person but also really value some quiet time at home to chill out and relax.
