This recently built apartment block in Mitchelton is only a 2 minute walk from public transport (train and bus) which makes it perfect for anyone who has to travel into the city for work or study. Its only about a 15/20 minute drive, too. You would also be a 10 minute walk from a large shopping centre (Target, Big W, Woolies etc) and another shopping/dining precinct. Bedroom 2 is available for rent and contains a ceiling fan, built in closet and shelves. The room can also fit up to a queen-sized bed and a few other pieces. You will also have your own bathroom with a shower and toilet which is one step across from your room. As for the main areas, the apartment is open-plan with heaps of natural light and quite a big balcony. Dishwasher and clothes dryer came with the apartment and the rest is mostly furnished but there is still room if you are bringing things with you. There is also air-con in the lounge that flows through to the bedrooms during summer when it's on. Rooftop entertainment area has tables, a bbq and bathroom with great views! I also have a cat who is 4 years old. He is super friendly/chill and won't bother you much.
Needing a quiet place to relax in after work? Needing your own space and it to be respected? Look no further. Beautiful home in a quiet neighbourhood, parks, shops, train and bus all within a 5min walk. Two lounge rooms, big patio, full kitchen, laundry and own bathroom. Lots of storage too if you need to store boxes or small furniture. Friendly neighbours.
Recently moved back to Brisbane after working in Melbourne for 6 months. Looking for a house to get back into the groove of things. I work full time Monday to Friday as a Tree planter / landscaper. I have the weekends off which I either take full advantage of or if I’m too wrecked, I chill out. It can go both ways haha. I am a fairly active person, I’ve always got something going on that I’ll be delving my time into besides work. I’m into hiking, camping, tree climbing just all that outdoor good stuff. I like to catch up with friends for drinks, dinner and such and I like doing so from time to time with housemates. I’m fairly social, I’m not someone who hides away in their room and you never see haha. I like sparking up a convo but then also respect some quiet and space for other and myself as I take time out to re group from life. Balance of both really. I own a pet snake. He lives in an enclosure that is lockable (not that he has ever escaped) As snakes are, he’s silent and doesn’t smell. You can’t really tell he’s there really. I’ve never had a problem with him I previous houses. My housemates have loved having him around. Other than that I think I’m a pretty well rounded chill person. Feel free to contact me if you want to ask me anything!
This is an old house with character. Four bedrooms that all have their own little hallway for privacy. Your room is right next to the bathroom. The toilet is in a separate room which is ideal in a share house.. The kitchen and lounge room are connected but can be subdivided. All of those rooms are for sharing as well as the huge storage space under the house. We also share the washing machine and dishwasher. The backyard is huge and offers offroad parking. There is an outside chill space under the house with a little sofa and table and chairs. Mitchelton train station is a 5 minute walk away as well as the Brookeside shopping centre. And of course Blackwood is full of cafes and little shops that add to the character of living here.
Hi, I currently live in Taringa QLD and am looking to move into a place with a house mate for the company and to make things financially easier. I work full time in Aged Care so will only be home in the evenings and on weekends. I'm easy to live with, very well house trained, I can cook, I'm clean and tidy and I don't mind living with animals (pets) if you have them. I'm not a party animal and am fairly quiet and respectful of peoples privacy.
Hi there! I am a quiet and tidy individual preferably looking for private, self-contained accommodation (e.g. seperate granny flat). I enjoy gardening, nature, cooking and reading :) I currently work part-time and study at university. As I only work 15 hours a week, my budget is a little tight. I am looking for a more long-term arrangement though so hopefully we can work something out! I also have an 8 year-old indoor cat who I'd be bringing with me. She's rather lazy and spends most of her time napping.
Looking for somewhere I can call home..🌞🍃 I’m a happy, loving and down to earth soul who appreciates honesty, openness and people who are content doing their own thing/letting me do mine but still down to get to know each other and become a bit of a family.💛 I love to laze out in the sun for hours at a time, either snoozing or gardening. I enjoy going for a little wander on my days off but usually prefer to relax at home as I am a bit of a homebody🙃 Not much of a party girl myself but don’t mind a glass or 3 of wine every now and then😙and can be easily coerced to join the party😋 I currently work about 4 days a week as a Barista in Everton Park. I also come with plants, two quiet birds, and lots of colourful things🌈 ❤️
Easy going guy looking for other like minded people. I like online gaming and collecting. I play League pool once a week and up for a social drink as well. Ive worked as a DJ, band promoter and owned my own business selling music and collectables. I respect peoples space and keep my place tidy.
I’m Jahan, hoping to study a double degree in bachelor of engineering and mathematics commencing Feb 2020. I’m athletic, play tennis and cycle, I’m an avid pianist and composer. I enjoy having a chat but also respectful of other peoples space, I’m neat and tidy and will contribute to house hold chores. Look forward to hearing from you, Cheers, Jahan
