Don't be fooled by the low cost, I rent from my brother and they generously haven't increased the rent in 7 years. It is a cute older house that has been renovated so has plenty of charm & a decent sized yard. I have everything a home needs, all you need to bring is a bed. Arguably the best room in the house, it is situated at the back and is nice and quiet (and cool). Has a ceiling fan and air conditioning along with block out curtains so if you work night shifts you can keep the place shut up nicely. It was freshly painted approximately 12mths ago, has built in robes and easily fits a queen bed. Also has beautiful polished wood floors. I love living in this area, it is so close to everything, public transport, shops, a library, Blackwood Street for brunch. Brisbane is so small it never really takes long to get anywhere. Will be required to go on the lease.

I'm a muso, vego (I'm cool if you're not), barista with a beard and long hair - I'm a walking stereotype! I'm pretty sociable, but I also enjoy my own space and practice/study music a lot. I run a digital set up for my instruments so you won't have to worry about me making heaps of noise. I also start work pretty early so I'm not big on late night parties. My girlfriend would probably come over a few times during the week, but she definitely wouldn't be living with me/us. I'm out every Tuesday night, work 5 days a week and usually go camping for a few days once a month as well. I'm always keen for a good hang, and and building a pretty great coffee set up so there would always be good coffee in the house if I'm around ;)

The room that is available can fit a double or queen bed with a desk or dresser if needed, this room also has the 2nd biggest wardrobe out of all the rooms with two mirrored sliding doors. The room also has a ceiling fan and French doors that lead onto the deck. We're about two blocks from Mitchelton Station (Ferny Grove/beenleigh line), its a 5 min walk to the 390 bus route, which commutes directly to the city and stops at Kelvin Grove if you're a QUT student. Brookside is a 2 min drive incase you need do a quick drop by coles! Ideally, we'd love to have a male housemate to complete the puzzle but we are open to anyone if its a perfect fit!
