For rent is a perfect sized bedroom in a chilled and friendly house. It's a large 3m x 2.8m room (not including the study nook next to the window) so it's easily big enough for a queen bed, desk and furniture. There's a ceiling fan to keep you cool and a double built in wardrobe (one side has a mirror) to store all of your things. The bedroom is located at the front of house, away from the lounge and kitchen area making it a nice and peaceful spot to enjoy some R&R or a good sleep in. Located in a green and leafy street in Mitchelton, the house is very secure as the block is fully fenced. There's also a double garage with a roller door that you'll have access to with your remote (no need to get out of your car). My favourite part of the house though is the big deck at the rear of the house. This is a perfect spot for a BBQ or a few cold bevies after work on a Friday. Living with myself part-time is my 11 year old son who stays every second week (Friday to Friday). He's also a very chilled person, low maintenance and will definitely keep you entertained (when he's off his Xbox that is). I'm generally an early riser (around 5.30am) and work pretty standard hours. I also work away one week per month so the house will be all yours then. I'm into running and going to the gym (either one i do on a daily basis) and still play a little AFL. Oxford Train Station is only 700m away, Blackwood Street is 1km away (where you'll find great coffee, food and drinks) and the Brookside Shopping Centre (Coles, Woolworths, Big W etc.) is 1.2km away. Rent is all inclusive too (all bills included - electricity, internet, Netflix) at $175 per week. Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions or want to inspect the room.
Hey there! I'm Michelle and I'm looking for a place to call home. I work full time and am a non-smoker. I am looking for a master room with ensuite in an easy going house or flat. I have no problems with animals and love cats especially. I'm a tidy, friendly person who is happy to share a meal or drink here and there. Not a big party animal these days though. If it sounds like we might get on, send me a message. My current lease finishes early December so I am looking to move around mid to late November.
As a single mum to a 9yr old boy, I'm seeking a calm family friendly house we can settle and call home, preferably with two bedrooms and a our own bathroom. I work from home so would need a space to setup my desk, reliable internet, and a non-smoking family friendly environment is imperative. I'm clean, tidy and a health food lover who loves to cook, enjoy healthy meals. My interests are listening to quiet music, reading a book, doing Yoga, gardening or watching the odd Netflix movie. We both love animals so pets (especially dogs) are welcome if you have them! Other children are fine too as long as we are a suitable fit overall.
My name is Liam, i'm 20 and currently in my third year at uni. My girlfriends name is Krystal, she is also 20 and working full time at a cafe and looking to study next year. We are looking for a room to rent as a couple. We have both rented before and are very neat, tidy and respectful.
Hi, my name is Travis, I'm 28, single, gay, super clean, super tidy and super dorky. I'm respectful of personal space but also don't mind hanging out, specially if it involves Netflix and a big box of Cadbury Favourites although wouldnt mind a housemate who I can be friends with. I'm not a party animal but don't mind going into the city or somewhere nice for a couple drinks on the rare occasion, so I'd like a housemate who is similar in that sense and who has a friendly and easy going personality that's clean and tidy. :) I'm work night shift as a Environmental Services Assistant at the SVPHN in Chermside and Im studying IT full time at Tafe South Bank. Im after a place that has the following, - Pet free (Allergic to dogs) - Cigarette free - Drug free - LGBT friendly - Air-conditioning - Non party house - Off street parking - 1 other person maybe 2 max depending on the person/situation - Queen size room with built in (Unfurnished) - Ensuite or own bathroom - Storage (Preferable) - New or Newish house/townhouse or apartment (preferably) - Super clean, as I am really clean myself so ideally Id like my future housemate to be the same. I do have a few bits and bobs that need to be stored, some I can just chuck in the cupboard and under my bed but I do have a sensor dryer and also a mountain bike which I'd like to keep out of the weather. If you like what you read and feel I'm suitable please done hesitate to message me.
Hi! I'm a quiet, respectful and private person who enjoys reading a few books with my cat, Valentino. I do also enjoy going on a night out with friends but am always respectful and try not to make too much noise! I work full-time in childcare so I am at work all day and generally will keep to myself (Unless you'd like to have a few wines!) I am looking for a housemate who doesn't mind a cuddly cat (he's very sweet) and who would enjoy a chat but am very happy if you would prefer to keep to yourself! Please let me know if you'd like to have a further chat! :)
Working full-time female. Fun, and down to earth, artsy, private, clean and tidy. Looking for a shared house with a room and ensure to stay in during the week four nights Monday to Friday morning. I'm away most weekends at the coast staying.
Hey guys/gals, My name is Jake, I'm a 29 yr old male and work full time for Queensland Corrections. I'm clean and tidy, I keep mostly to myself but am happy to have a chat and coffee/drink as well. I'm very easy going and like to get out to the beach, go for a hike, go to the gym, grab a coffee and/or a beer in my spare time. I'm also an Army Reservist, and am undertaking acting/stunt training.
I'm (Kate) a full time dietitian working in private practice and Brady currently works as a water quality technician. We're seeking a quiet, respectful, relaxed, but generally tidy household (house/cottage preferred) with 1-2 other people to move in to in early November. We both like to cook and spend a fair bit of time in the kitchen. We prefer to compost all of our food scraps and value taking care of our world so we appreciate living with those who value this as well. We're often up early to head to work or the gym/yoga (4:30-5am) and are usually in bed by 9-9:30pm. We're both not big on drinking, going out or large gatherings but occasionally have a friend or family member over to catch up over dinner and a glass of wine Fri-Sun. Brady may go off travelling for 3-6 months again next year so ideally we'd like to find someone who would be happy living and splitting rent with just myself should this occur. I'm also very keen to get a pup in the next year so finding a dog-loving housemate would be a bonus! We currently have almost all items to furnish/equip a small house or apartment apart from furniture for other bedrooms and a dining table/chairs. If you're interested in teaming up, please feel free to shoot me a message :)
Hey, 32 year old male who's studying full time and working part time. I'm pretty easy going, quiet but social. I consider myself a good housemate. I cook, clean and tidy up after myself and try respect everyones space.
Hi I'm Mel, I work full time shift work at the airport. I lead a really busy lifestyle. I enjoy being active/social and don't mind the occasional drink but I am not a party animal. I am looking for clean/tidy and respectful people to live with : ) a place to call home not just a room. I am honest and reliable. I do smoke at the moment but quitting is on the cards. (Outside only) My moving date is flexible. Any more questions please ask : )
Looking to move back to Brisbane within the next couple of months. I have two inside cats (very clean), and I mostly keep to myself but wouldn’t say no to a cooking or drinking night! Currently studying full time, planning to work part time when I move down. I’m very flexible with lease length & pretty much everything, I just hope to find the right roomie match. :)
