It is a modern house and I am 24 years of age looking for a student who is responsible and respectful not only to me but for themselves. The house is air conditioned, very modern renovations have been done in the last year also fully furnished but welcome to bring desks etc, there is a bed already in the room and it's a double queen, there is a spare desk too. Very close to public transport, bus stop out the front of the house train station no more then a 15 minute walk and Griffith university is only just up the road. I would appreciate no partying and no drugs, I also am very lenient and fun haha so I am always down for a chat or to share a meal or watch movies have a drink or two or even go to the gym or play some recreational sports. Goodlife gym is 3 minute walk up the road and the Gold Coast city council is 2 minutes walk. Rent has to always be on time and electricity is the only seperate payment witch is $125 a month varying on usage.
Hello! I am studying Nutrition and Dietetics full time at Griffith, looking for a relaxed share house close by. I'm a pretty quiet roommate and tend to keep to myself, unless someone is up for a sneaky wine in the evening 😉. I work two nights a week as a fitness instructor and 3 full days as a Lab assistant in Brisbane, so you wont see much of me. In my spare time I study, train or go on outdoor adventures. I am more than happy to do my share of housework and cook for us when I am home. I am (hopefully but it's not a deal breaker, he can stay with a friend) looking for a pet friendly place, so I can bring my cat Mr Whiskas too. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hey, name's TK for short. Recently graduated and now working full-time on the Gold Coast full time in healthcare. Easy-going and chill. Always up for a good chat ranging from small talk about the weather to deep meaningful conversations about the futility of human existence. I'm friendly and sociable, and above all I'm really respectful of people's privacy. I don't have pets but really like animals, so if you do have 'em - rest assured, I'll practically adopt them. I don’t smoke and paying rent on time will never be an issue. The closest I ever came to drug abuse was taking my grandma’s strepsils and eating them all when I was 9 because I thought they were candy.
Im a 24yo guy Im gonna be studying masters of marketing at Griffith Uni. Im kinda tidy for a guy lol, i take care of all of my things and i can help with shared areas as well. I like to socials and have a few beers every now and then but not really a party animal, i like my privacy and respect others privacy as well
I'm a super friendly, outgoing Peruvian girl that just moved to the gold coast. I’ll be studying Hospitality at Griffith University, and I’m looking forward to getting to know the place. I respect privacy, and appreciate it when people do the same for me. I’m keen for chatting and watching movies, and always down for a night out and having a good time. Looking forward to meeting lots of people and making the most of my time living in Australia!
Master bedroom available with large ensuite and walk in robe, ceiling fan, air conditioner, brand new carpets and a parking spot in the garage. Large shared living areas including an additional study that’s currently unused. $214/week includes rent, electricity, water and internet. 15-20min walk to Griffith University/Hospital, 5min walk to shopping complex and public transport. The room will be available 1st of July but there’s potential to move in earlier if required as we can always utilise the study.
Hello folks My name is Scott and have been doing the flatmate living arrangement since leaving hometown WA five years ago. Since then have been traveling Australia and a little overseas while working in hospitality based in Adelaide. Now what better place to be on the coast with an inspired career change to attend Griffith University for International Tourism. Essential for me is living with no smokers please, and preferably no cats am slightly allergic. I also work part-time as a research assistant. If you have a place please message me.
Im a fun person and an easy going one to live with. My hometown is Vietnam and I usually going around my city to ease my stressed mind. Surfing and cooking are what Im into and want to discover more. Hoping to make friends with everybody while studying in Gold Coast :)
Very quiet street, (so on street parking is safe and secluded, depending on working times, driveway has room if shuffling around isn't a hassle). Modern home with space for everyone to have privacy in. Large outdoor patio area with TV, BBQ. I do have a garage with a bedroom suite set up and small office if this suited a student temporarily. Can negotiate a price.
I'm 20 years old, going to be studying Criminology and Criminal Law at Griffith University. I have lived in Ottawa, Canada my entire life and I have never been to Australia (yet). I love keeping an active lifestyle, playing lots of sports (ultimate frisbee, soccer/football, and tennis are my favourites), hiking, and exploring the outdoors. I have a passion for travelling and will likely be doing lots of that while I am living in Australia. I am understanding of when people need their quiet time, but I also love socializing and getting to know new people. I pull my weight in keeping the place clean and I don't like leaving messes behind. Little bit of mutual respect goes a long way. (My dog, as cute as she is, won't be coming with me)
Hello, a friend and myself are looking for 1 or 2 females to team up with to look for a rental house (no apartments) in the Gold Coast regions (between Arundel and Worongary). What we want 1. A house, with backyard and where everyone gets their own room with 1 or 2 spare rooms for visitors. 2. 1 or 2 Female house mates 3. Can be a smoker (one of us is a smoker) 4. A lease of 12 months minimum (further details will be discussed because things happen and sometimes people have to leave, so that is understood) 5. Looking at finding a place and moving ASAP 6. Have already got regular funiture (beds for others will have to be organised), got kitchen ware. 7. Must be reliable in paying rent and helping out with house chores if needed. 8. Must pay a bond 9. Will recommend that any allegies or similar relevant information be told (for health and safety) Please contact me if you are interested or have any questions. For pricing- depending on the rental, a package (including electricity, water, internet and rent) will be calculated. The aimed maximum is $250 each for the 1 or 2 extra house mates but hopefully will not have to be that high. Overall, we want someone who enjoys a good chat and a BBQ. Perfect opportunity for student or single people who like to live with others. We just want to move but need 1 or 2 more others. NO OFFERS FOR ALREADY ESTABLISHED SHARE HOUSES OR ROOMS PLEASE.
Spacious, private, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. Garage parking, 2.5km to Griffith, 400GB Internet! Friendly and easy going atmosphere. Totally nerd friendly :) We have a lovely 3 bedroom duplex on offer with 2 bathrooms and double garage. Outside is a small yard and terrace area :) The house is fully furnished, air-conditioned and has all the necessary bits and pieces. The room available is the back bedroom with a built in robe & a ceiling fan. The successful new roomie would share the large main bathroom with Clayton, while the master bedroom is occupied by James & Emma, who have their own ensuite :) The room comes with a secure park in the garage and there is 400GB of Wifi included for free :) The bills are all split evenly between 4. Emma & James are a lively young couple who mostly keeps to themselves while working and studying. Clayton also works full time and mostly keeps to himself. We're all very clean and tidy, relitively busy people so we're out and about a lot of the time and the house is fairly quiet. Our cleaner, Nicole comes once a fortnight to give the place a good tidy up, otherwise everyone just picks a job each week to do :) We're ideal if you're a student, being minutes to Griffith Uni (2.5km as the crow flies), Crestwood Shops, bus lines, Smith street (which leads straight to the M1), plenty of other shops in Ashmore, 10 minutes to Southport CBD & Surfers Paradise. Please feel free to ask any more questions! Otherwise make a time to come meet us :)
I'm easy going and respect the privacy of my housemates. I will be studying at Griffith and working part time as a bartender so I won't be spending very much time at home. Also a garage space is fairly important as I own a motorbike and don't want to park it out on the street.
ASHMORE. Not Molendinar We have a furnished or unfurnished room available. You will have your own bathroom another room you can turn into you own lounge room, with a couch, desk and tv, your have your own entry/exit, access to pool and tennis court, shared kitchen on the river in Ashmore.
