Hey! I'm Michael, 28, originally from overseas but have called Melbourne home for nearly 9 years. I currently work in tech as a data engineer (with a splash of Generative AI projects on the side), splitting my days between working remotely and going into the office.
I'm looking to move closer to the city around mid-April—ideally somewhere within a 10-30 minute commute to the CBD (parking space is a bonus as I drive!). I'm after a furnished room, initially short-term (3-4 months), with a budget around $300–$400 per week.
Lifestyle-wise, I’m a balance between enjoying a night out at comedy shows,live music venues or anything stimulating and relaxing nights at home. I'm tidy, easy-going, and respectful of others’ space—definitely not the type to bring parties home. I drink socially, don't smoke, and I’m passionate about fitness, hitting the gym about four times a week. I’m also deeply interested in fashion and always keen to learn new things.
I have a friendly 5-year-old Border Collie mix, but he won't be moving with me, so no worries there.
