Hey there! I'm Isabella (she/her), a student studying a Bachelor of Law/Arts at Monash University, with majors in French and Indonesian. I'm looking to establish a safe, loving and warm sharehouse of 4 - 6 in Melbourne's east. I come with two beautiful cats, Dash and Violet. |About me (and the kitties - not pictured above!):| I spend most of my free time volunteering at my local church, at Monash University Christian Union, or at concerts and festivals with Red Frogs. Outside of that, I enjoy going on adventures with my friends, whether hikes, picnics, movie nights, or massive blanket fort parties (yes I have done this twice, it was awesome, ask me for pics hehe:)). I hit the town occasionally for a bit of a boogie, but generally much prefer cosy nights in with good chats and cups of tea on the couch. I spend my downtime listening and writing music, playing video games, or working my way through TV series. Dash is a silly, snuggly ginger boy who likes to make noises at you ("sing") at unconventional hours and bring you his favourite toys as presents. Pumpkin fiend. Violet is a grumpy, snuggly, gremlin girl who will claim every beanbag in the house as her throne. She likes to steal hair ties and play with them for hours before loosing them under the couch. Butt scritch connoisseur. Both are desexed, vaccinated, well-trained indoor cats, who have provided wonderful companionship to all housemates in every home we've been in :) |What I'm after:| I have been living in my current place for two and a half years now and sadly must move as the landlords are selling. I am so, so proud of the time, care and effort put into that house and my housemates, and the culture and community that was made in doing so. Moving forward, creating a household which values empathy, maturity, respect and kindness is vital. To me, that looks like gasbags in the kitchen, a shared dinner now and then, and showing up to each other's gigs/marathons/graduations. It also looks like cleaning up after yourself, handling conflict calmly and graciously, and knowing when space is needed and giving it. I also come with heaps of furniture (couches, cabinetry, fridge, dining table and chairs) and would prefer a place that is decently close to public transport and other amenities. If I sound like I'd be the right fit for you, shoot me a message and let's chat. Looking forward to meeting you!
