I'm a 39-year-old guy looking for a share house in Melbourne. Preferably at least a 6 month lease.
Currently studying in community work and psychology fields. Fitting part time work around studies is a juggle.
I spend my days seeking calm and prefer a quiet atmosphere in my home, but I don't mind when things are loud, I can sleep through almost anything.
I mostly keep to myself but do relish a shared household meal and good conversation.
I'm an ex professional chef, so you might find me cooking up a feed for everyone, but I always keep it clean. I never leave my mess for others.
I studied a biology degree at uni; there were a lot of different subjects covered in the various units but I was most interested in genetics, botany, pharmacology, neurophysiology, international relations, philosophy, sociology, epidimeology, molecular ecology, and biotech. Though I didn't wind up working in a STEM field I still retain these interests and try to stay up to date.
A brief stint in IT and a lifetime of tinkering with tech has left me with what I'm told is a better than average knack for fixing computers and solving software and network issues, so I might be able to save you a trip to the Apple store too.
You'll often find me reading or going for walks and I love to dance.
I like to have music in the home and quite enjoy watching a movie with friends in the evenings.
I quit smoking, but genuinely don't mind if anyone else still smokes.
