Im an easy going up for a chat chiller kind of girl. Im respectful around the house when it comes to cleaning and general housey stuff.... I enjoy hanging out for a meal, drink or movie and having a general family vibe at home, but am normally pretty busy with study for uni, winding down and visiting friends or hanging with my dog magic. I like good music, dancing and the bush and beach, I'm currently studying environmental science and enviro social science . I have a dog and he is with me most of the time so i need a pooh loving house he is the best and his name is magic.
I'm 19 years old and work full time in Brunswick. I'm wanting to move closer to my work as I'm currently commuting 40+ minutes to work every day. Ideally I'd like to live with someone around my age with similar interests but I'm not too fussy as long as I get along with my housemate/s. I'm firendly, independent & definitely very clean. I enjoy going out with my pals quite a bit but I don't expect to have a party house (unless you're into that). Please chuck me a message if you think we'd get along!
Hello I'm a single male looking for a nice place to call home. I like living in a clean space. I'm respectful of personal space but at the same time enjoy a good chat. I clean up after myself and would expect the same from my future room mates. I grew up in Brisbane and have been travelling and working as a cellar hand in wineries throughout Australia for the last 3 years. I have lived in Melbourne for one year. I have commenced a Bachelor of Agriculture at The University of Melbourne with the intention to major in Wine Science. I like hiking, travelling and good vibes with quality people, food and drinks.
I am a recent graphic design graduate, an artist, and mixed martial artist of ten years always striving to learn as much as can to benefit other people around me. I have lived in Los Angeles and Zimbabwe meeting many people from all walks of life, and I have just the right bunch of hilarious stories to tell about them. I am very easy-going, jovial, and respectful of noise and house etiquette, with an active sense of duty when its time to get things done. I would love to share a home with like-minded people who are independently motivated and positive. I have an extensive knowledge of great movies, and I always teach others martial arts skills free of charge for fun and exercise. J
Im pretty easy going and relaxed. I very tidy and organised. Always up for a laugh, beer BBQ etc but also happy to keep to myself at times. I like to keep active and can be quite busy during the week and weekends. Feel free to drop me a line happy to have a chat.
Hi Friends, Just a quick announcement that I would like to make. We, the Hawthorn's peasants are going to relocate to Moonee Ponds and reside ourselves as royalties in this timeless edwardian brick house! The catch is...., we still have an empty room, looking for its rightful tenant. So if you're still on the hunt for share house, looking for somewhere to stay; look no more and inquire within cause this house is bawzzzzz asssssss!!!!!! The house has three big ass rooms, one fancy as bathroom/toilet, cool as laundry room, big as living room, Masterchef worthy as kitchen, breezy as backyard and sick as shed! It's only 10 mins walking to Moonee Ponds station and super close to all of the shops as well!!!!
I have just moved back to Melbourne after spending 3 years in QLD, i was working in a tattoo shop and am going to continue my career back home but i'm just doing paid work at the moment and going to get a bit of savings behind me before i continue my apprenticeship. im also going to be doing extra art classes wherever i get spare time. i'm friendly, respectful of other people and their belongings and like to help out wherever needed. im 28 years old so like to spend alot of time on my art and exercise. If you have any questions for me my number is. cheers, Liam
I'm Ash, I'm 24 turning 25 this year. I work at Melbourne airport and would like to live closer to work and the city. I'm fun, bubbly and social but also love my down time and own space. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I am a shift worker so my hours are all over the place. Would much prefer a housemate/housemates who I can become good friends with, rather than living with a stranger and the only contact is hi and bye.
My partner and I have secured a 3 story, 2 bedroom townhouse and are looking for a single housemate to join us. THE ROOM - Can fit up to a queen bed, has a split system air conditioner, a double mirrored wardrobe and a nice sized window. THE BATHROOM - You will have your own, very modern bathroom with a large shower, toilet and sink with storage cupboards underneath. (your room being on the bottom floor will only be shared with the garage and the laundry that is in the garage so it will very much be your own space) THE SHARED LIVING SPACE - Is a modern, spacious and bright area with a toilet, study area, kitchen, dining and living room that goes on to a balcony which will have a little sitting area and BBQ. We will have unlimited wifi which you can pay a small amount a month for as well as bills on top of that. We are looking for someone that will always make sure they clean up after themselves in the common areas and is easy to get along with. We would like someone who either works or studies full time. There is a tram stop probably only 100 meters from the front door and a Moonee Ponds Station about a 15-20 minute walk. There is also a Coles supermarket and lots of other shops close by. Also a public outdoor pool and nice park very close.
Quiet location, close to public transport, shops, wine bars, restaurants, library. Plenty of parking available. House has air-conditioning, heating, spa bath and a dishwasher. There's also a laundry room (I don't have a machine, so if you have one, feel free to bring it along!). If not, there are cheap laundrettes nearby. Both rooms are about the same size and have built-ins. Also have a garden. I'm looking for someone around my age (mid-late twenties, early thirties). I don't mind if you like your own space every now and then - I do too, but it would be nice if you wanted to indulge in the occasional glass of wine and trashy TV session, together. Move in date is flexible - you can move in a week before the tenth, if need be.
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room, but I'm open to sharing a room with the right person. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
Hi there, two housemates (Jess and Ally) looking for a third housemate to rent a room from the 10th May. Great house in a quiet street very close to public transport (Only few minutes walk to both Ascot Vale & Moonee Ponds train stations (15 min ride into CBD) and both the 57 and 82 tram). Only a short walk to Puckle street and Union road shops, cafes and restaurants. Also close to Highpoint Shopping Centre. The bedroom available is a large sized room that is carpeted, has a giant wall to wall 6 door built in wardrobe. The house has 2 toilets, one shower and an open kitchen, dining and lounge. It has ducted heating through out, fully furnished other than the room, on and off street parking available.
I'm a 18 year old female university student, looking for a private room in a safe, healthy environment in a closer area to the city. I’m a positive, friendly and easy to get along with person who enjoys good company but also respect and like some time to my self. I’m currently in my first year in Bachelor of interior design at rmit. I'm mostly studying, working and keeping fit. I work as a waitress/bartender in the city and spend a lot of mine time in the and around the city for both work and uni. I’m always down to chill, have a drink and enjoy having a good chat! oh and if your close to or along either the 96, or 109 tram line that would be even better!
Located in the heart of Moonee Ponds, within minutes of supermarkets, # 59 tram, train, shops, fast food and restaurants & Queens Park and local outdoor pool. Light and spacious, with aircon, balcony, BBQ, Netflix and WIFI available for use. Massive floorplan, all full furnished except for to be rented bedroom ( see pics), ,
I'm considerate and respectful. Like to have a friendly relationship with housemates but also some space. Believe that communicating well with the people you live with is the best way to make a household work. Respect other people's property and preferences regarding cleanliness. I have a very cute ginger cat named Abraham. I'm 40yo, working in health at one of the hospitals in Melbourne. Not super fussy about the location of the house, so long as it's accessible to the city. LGBTIQA friendly.
Hi, I'm Anton, a primary school teacher, surfer (who gives housemates free surf lessons) and laid back guy who's looking for a new place. I have a teaching job in Keilor East and my landlord of my lovely Brunswick lease for the last two years is renovating and then selling! I hit trivia once a week in Collingwood with friends and enjoy eating out and cooking up awesome food. I have a cat too that comes with references from my current and former housemates. Would love to be part of the house. Also can contribute furnishings too if you'd like. Please message me or give me a call. Thanks, Anton
This is my first rodeo of shared living accom outside of paring with a partner or family & friends. I'm flexible to move out within the next month for a stable place for a decent time. I am a Latin/African dance teacher by trade, I work almost every weeknight and many weekends also. I am super chilled dude, knows when to hang out and when to keep to myself. At this stage I can only afford to pay $600 inc bills a month & looking for areas around Carlton, Brunswick, Fitzroy, Moonee Ponds, Preston that side of town. If anyone is interested in having me or can help lead me in the right direction would be amazing! Thanks all!
Hi I'm Jess. I'm 28 years old and work as a client services officer at a financial planning firm. My interests include music, especially live gigs, the ocean, travel, animals and spending time with friends. I'm a fairly easy going person, like to keep things tidy and would consider myself to be quiet but friendly. I am a bit of a nanna during the week but always up for a dance and a drink on the weekend and my poison of choice is a vodka, lime and soda water and a tequila shot never goes astray. Cheers :)
Looking for a chill household with an unfurnished room preferably, I've been told I'm friendly and I know how to keep a clean house and a pretty sick garden. I work most nights at a hotel and yes I do come into the house as quiet as the grave if it is past a certain hour, funnily enough I sleep like the dead so no need to return the favour, as for the rest of the time I am rather outgoing. Can adapt easily to most housing situations and respectful of anybody who chooses to share a roof over their head.
My home is cosy, peaceful and has nice bright living spaces. It's a 5 minute walk to tram or bus interchange, 10 min walk to train (30 mins to city centre by any method). It's a 5-10 min walk to all major supermarkets, banks, k-mart, restaurants, cafes, post office, etc. The house has all gas appliances, a small kitchen, dishwasher, good shower, bath, laundry, WiFi broadband (an even share is 125 GB/month each) and a private sunny courtyard. It has gas heating but does not have cooling or a clothes dryer. Bills are currently averaging $22 per week per person with two people. You can opt-out of the Internet if you wish, which is approximately one third of the bills. The actual bills to be higher over winter, because this figure is from summer and does not include heating. I'm open to sharing the heating costs proportionally to how often each of us is home on average. The available bedroom is bright, with decent sized windows facing westward onto the street. It has window blinds and a good sized built-in wardrobe. I have a bunch of mix & match furniture you can optionally use, including a queen bed ensemble, 2 bedside drawers, a small desk, some stools and an armchair. You'd probably want some additional shelving, as the wardrobe has just 1 shelf across the top.
Beautiful double brick home in a great location in Moonee Ponds, close to public transport, Puckle Street shops and Queens Park. In addition to a private, furnished bedroom, tenants also have access to the dining/music room and a study. The lounge is large and comfortable with quality leather furniture, TV, DVD etc and excellent heating and cooling. The back yard has a large covered deck which is ideal for entertaining, and a beautiful garden including vegies, berries and fruit that tenants are welcome to share.
Hi Im Jesse. Im 30 years old. Im looking for a place for me and my dog Buster to move into. We are a pretty chilled out pair who love to socialise but also appreciate our down time. I work full time as a refrigeration mechanic. Im looking for a nice relaxed household with a yard as Buster spends most of his time outside. I enjoy going to gigs, hiking, walking the dog, music and reading.
