Hi there! My name is Ebony and I'm looking for a new place to call home with my gorgeous 12 year old cat Puff. I work full time at a College and will often work the last 2 Saturdays of the month as well (meaning I can pay rent on time). I did live alone in a small one bedroom apartment in Toorak but as my lease is up in March I am wanting to live with other people again and in a busier, younger neighbourhood. I am looking to move between the 16th of Feb and the 20th of Feb. I come with all my own furniture but happy to get rid of it if I need with a bit of notice. I have been in share housing for 5 years before having my own place. I loved living alone but missed having other people around. I'm looking for somewhere to call home rather than just a place where I pay rent so I'd really love for us to get along. I love a Netflix binge, a good gossip over wine and the odd Saturday lay in. I am an avid ubereats enthusiast but happy to cook and share a meal with my future housies. Puff is a 12 year old indoor cat. He is a chubby all black (except his little grays, hes old) thing with a lot of personality. If he isnt laying in the sun living his best life He loves playing with his toys. Puff follows me around everywhere and is my little spoon of a night time. Since he is old he doesn't tend to ruin any furniture and loves a good cuddle (I sometimes find him sleeping on my chest when I wake up from a cheeky couch nap. ). I got him from a shelter about 6 months ago so we definitely come as a package deal. If you think my fur baby and I will be a good fit for your house please let me know! I'm starting to inspect houses now. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hi guys, I am a recent graduate working in the city, looking for a nice place with good people. I'm 25, easygoing, enjoy evening teas, and nighttime reads. I'm happy to do chores around the house and cook really well (according to my girlfriend). Keen to meet you and share the odd drink every once in a while. Hoping to move in before February 19th. =)
*** Pictures belong to the agent's ad since I have not moved to the apartment yet *** I'm moving in to the apartment on the 1st of Feb, so you are welcome to have an inspection after that date, however the date is flexible and I might be able to provide accommodation if you need a place before that date. It's almost furnished but you're welcome to bring your own stuff as well. It's a two bedroom apartment and you'll have your own private room. The building has a gym as well, we'll share the bills including the Internet ($30 pm) and electricity (which is around $40 pm). The gas is paid by the owner and the water does not cost too much. This is not a party house, but we can have gatherings there as long as the neighbours don't complain. And sorry in advance but NO SMOKERS and no pets/couples. 1 min away from the tram #59 and #82 1 min away from the bus terminal (they go almost everywhere in the city) 5 min away from the Train station (Craigieburn line) 15 min away from Highpoint SC 20 min away from the city 1 min away from Coles/Aldi/Woolies/KMart/Market 1 min away from Puckle st, which has lots of cafes, pubs, and restaurants 2 min away from the park/library
I'm a fresh-out-of-highschool student from coastal NSW moving all the way down to Melbourne to study at UniMelb (B.Science). I am a very tidy person and clean up after myself however my bedroom can become a bit of a bombshell of half finished art and supplies some days :’) I'm looking for a friendly environment and the chance to meet some awesome new people to live with for a while. Please feel free to PM me, I don’t bite!
Maltese backpacker currently staying in Melbourne for the next few months. Will start working soon, probably doing differently labour jobs. I am a very friendly person and love meeting new people that are out going and that respect the people around them. Just crazy enough not to be boring :)
Happy, kind, driven, tidy, clean and open-minded. Studying individual support in age care and disability at the moment, I’m also working in early year childhood education as a educator. Obsessed with health and fitness, reading and meditation, In my spare time I love to cook and watch movies.
*I Literally was accepted & moved into a townhouse a month ago, just found out the landlord is moving back in so we're all going. Help me out? :) Moved to Melbourne years ago from Brisbane, pretty chilled; don't mind for a chat. Love the leafy suburb where I live and have for a year, and my housemates! Work full time, try to keep fit. Always pay bills & rent on time. Also been trusted with MANY housesits so I know how to clean, even how to change a toilet roll and take a bin out :)
My name is Ollie and I will be moving from Sydney in Feb to start studying theatre full time at VCA. I’ll probably be spending most of my time either at uni or working. I’m very neat and clean and I love to cook big dinners. I also make really good martini’s if you’re into that. Not really a party person but I have my moments, I’m more of a go out twice a year and get home before midnight kind of dude though. I’m a very creative and easy-going person, I write, act, paint, sing, you name it. I’m the kind of guy who always cleans his toothpaste out of the sink and never leaves a kitchen untidy. In Sydney I work at the aquarium; I do tours and talks so if you want someone around who will ace any useless marine trivia nights I’m a solid investment. I’m hoping to transfer over to Melbourne aquarium when I move. I would love to be in a household of other creative people, and LGBTI friendly is a must as I am a queer transgender male. I also eat meat so you’d need to be okay with that! Looking for the kind of place where everyone is respectful of eachother's space, but also open to sharing a meal or a glass of wine.
Hey mates! I'm a Colombian student living in Melbourne. I work as a nanny part time. I like to do yoga and I usually travel on weekends. I would like to find a nice place for living in such as a tidy, quiet and friendly home.
Danish student at University of Melbourne in the fall semester. Hoping to find a place to call home where we're friends and not just housemates. I'm outgoing and postive and love to have a good time with friends either at home or out. Doesn't matter if it's in the company of Netflix or beers, just love to hang out with good people. Will be studying full time and hope to do things around the city in weekends and weeks off.
My name is Patrick, I'm 29 years old born in Melbourne. I work in materials research full time while I finish my mechanical engineering degree part time. I'm pretty busy with work and uni during the week. On weekends I enjoy heading out for dinner or grabbing a couple of drinks at a bar with friends. I'm looking for a comfy place, potentially long term, with my own room. Looking to make friends, I would enjoy having a beer together on the weekend, but I am completely mindful of peoples privacy. I like to keep my place neat and tidy! Have a background as a mechanic so can fix just about anything around the house.
Hey! I’m a relaxed and easy going person. I work full time at a cafe in Essendon and I’m also an artist so majority of my time I’ll be at work or working on my portfolio to try obtain a tattooing apprenticeship. I’m a tidy person and prefer a cleaner environment, I am very approachable and friendly. I enjoy cooking (I am vegetarian but I’m not fussed being around meat eaters) I’ve lived in Brunswick for the last 2 years but I’m starting a new chapter in my life, I hope you’ll consider myself as a possible housemate!
Hi all, looking for someone who would be ok with a six month lease with the possibility of a longer term. The two-bedroom house has Access to the tram just over the road, and is a 10 minute walk down Puckle St for the train. It's close to everything Moonee Ponds has to offer. It’s an Edwardian home right across the Moonee Valley Racecourse and 10 minutes into Brunswick. What you need to know: the room has an attic which I will need to access on rare occasions and does not have an aircon/heating in the room. I would prefer to live with a single person who is happy to chill at times and maybe go for a drink, but who also likes their own space. Also, there is only one bathroom and the toilet is NOT seperate. Also, I am the home-owner and never bring randoms into my home, so if that’s something that you’re wanting to do, then we won’t be able to live together :) I do not have a microwave as there is no room for one and don’t have wifi connected, although willing to do for the right housemate. All are welcome, as long as you're respectful, tidy and considerate. :) If you’re interested, please arrange to call me and we can go from there :) Thanks :)
Brand new apartment with windows throughout the whole place. $280 for 1 person. $180pw per person for 2 person Prefer long term but alright with short terms with extra charge. Only 3 bedrooms in the whole apartment. Please leave your name, description about yourself and a contact number for quick response.
I'm a 20 year old science student at Melbourne uni. I've been living out of home for the past two years (gap year and 1st year uni) in North Melbourne and am looking for a larger house with more housemates and a bit of a reduction in rent! I'm a pretty bubbly guy who loves to get super involved with clubs and societies on campus so I'm always off helping out with camps and trips and stuff! Living close to uni is a big priority for me! My main hobbies are gaming, snowboarding, photography and cooking but I'm super into giving anything a try and I need to learn to surf because all my German/Canadian friends want lessons when they inevitably end up travelling here! I also love going to live gigs/festivals with my friends from uni! I've got super stable work as a forklift driver part time so I'm super reliable with rent/bills. At the moment I'm working for Frank Walker at National Tiles in Preston (😂), but I'm also currently applying around at toll/amazon etc! As my housemates can attest, I'm a super friendly and laid back person who loves science/politics/music. I'm also really reliably clean/neat as I've been living in a house without a dishwasher for the last couple years and I know how frustrating it can be having a messy kitchen/living spaces! My ideal housemates would be other young people who are pretty socially active and have decent income. I dont mind people working fulltime but some other students would be loads of fun. I'd like to start up a sharehouse with some (soon to be) good friends somewhere in the inner city with a total house size somewhere between 3-5 although I'm pretty flexible with numbers. Shoot me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your existing sharehouse or if you'd like to join me in setting up a new one! Dan-
Beautiful period brick home in great location close to Moonee Ponds station, Puckle Street and Queens Park. The bedroom is fully furnished, the kitchen has all modern appliances, there is excellent heating and airconditioning in the lounge and Netflix is also available. A highlight of this property is a huge backyard with beautiful gardens, BBQ and dining areas, ideal for entertaining or just relaxing.
Hey there I'm Flavia! I'm from Zimbabwe but I have been living in Australia for about 17 years now. I'm currently working part time and studying a diploma in Dental Technology. I'm looking for a new sharehouse to live in to for at least a year or two and to make new friends :) I'm easy going, I love to have a chat, love to cook, travel, read, exercise and meet new people. I consider myself to be very clean and respectful of others and their privacy.
Friendly respectful person to live with, do have 2 older quiet dogs & a cheeky ginger cat. They are also respectful friendly & clean...... I work with & train dogs for a living & am also a yoga teacher. Happy to have a chat with housemates & also respect privacy, maybe share meals when free. Not into a party house but do tend to become friends with people I live with. I'm not a 9-5'er but love my work, am fit active, vego, love the arts & looking to set up or be a part of a chilled, friendly home :)
About me: Well, I’m a store manager for an op shop in Kensington so I work full time. I play the bodhran and have recently started archery which I do at point cook so I always like to keep busy, I’m also a big camper and try to get away whenever possible! I’m a pretty relaxed, friendly, open minded and big into British comedy. What I’m looking for: a place that’s close to public transport, and female run! I don’t mind living with males but as long as there’s another female in the house. I’m a person who enjoys their personal space so living in a house with scheduled room mate dinners and dates wont work for me as sometimes all I want to do after work is just veg out. I definitely love a clean house!!! So if you’re looking for a clean freak that’s me 😂 I’m looking for room mates that have their own lives but are more that happy to have a chat and a laugh when the time is right. People who are opened minded and are able to communicate verbally instead of through passive aggressive notes haha. Why me: I’ve been living in shared houses since I was 20 so I know how to live with people, how to pay bills on time ( I know everyone says that but I’m an adult and know how to budget my money haha) how to clean up after myself and to be respect of personal space. Happy living with animals too! If you want someone who’s cruisey, a person you don’t have to chase for bill money and won’t steal your food then I’m your girl!
