THE ROOM - Can fit up to a queen bed, has a split system air conditioner, a double mirrored wardrobe and a nice sized window. THE BATHROOM - You will have your own, very modern bathroom with a large shower, toilet and sink with storage cupboards underneath. (your room being on the bottom floor will only be shared with the garage and the laundry that is in the garage so it will very much be your own space) THE SHARED LIVING SPACE - Is a modern, spacious and bright area with a toilet, study area, kitchen, dining and living room that goes on to a balcony which will have a little sitting area and BBQ. We have it all fully furnished and stocked up so unfortunately we could only take a few kitchen bits and that's about it. We will have unlimited wifi which you can pay $20 month for as well as bills on top of that which has averaged at around $150 every three months. We are looking for someone who cleans up after themselves in the common areas and is easy to get along with and also enjoys a social catch up from time to time. We would like someone who either works or studies full time like ourselves. There is a tram stop only 50 meters from the front door and a Moonee Ponds Station about a 15-20 minute walk. There is also a Coles supermarket and lots of other shops, cafes and bars close by. Also a public outdoor pool and a lovely park close across the road.
I'm half way between a professional corporate and nature loving hippy- the yin and yang. I love to smile and to laugh and to be happy. I like meaningful chats and getting to know people. I also love space to be alone. I work full time and a casual job some weekends. In my spare time I love yoga, reading, exploring rainforests and waterfalls. Music is my favourite thing in the world. I eat mostly plants and try to live pretty healthy. Get in touch :)
I am Mayura, 24 and I'm hoping to find a place to call a home. I'm currently a full time masters student at RMIT and work part time for the Student Union which means I'm generally a busy human. I have been living in share houses for 6 years now so I'm fairly experienced with sharing a house and the responsibilities that come with it. I'm social and love to get to know people but also understand and respect people's need for privacy and space. I'm all for sharing a beer or meal occasionally ( I make a mean curry )and discussing anything from philosophy to the absolute mundane. Cheers!
Despite being on the wall of shame, for being unable to devour the gargantuan hot dog (see above), I am still a great human being. I promise, even ask my mum. Onto the boring stuff about myself: -- I am 25 years old. -- Working as an audio engineer at Crystal Mastering -- Work in a nightclub on the weekend -- I play the drums -- Quiet but enjoy hanging out with housemates I have 7 years of rental history, with sharing houses with girls and guys.
Hi, I'm a easy-going girl from Taiwan looking for a private room. If everything goes well, probably will stay longer. I'm a respectful person who likes quiet a lot and always clean the house alternately to make sure the house is clean and tidy. I'm an internation student and I currently work at a hotel 3-4 days in a week. I generally work and study form 9am to 2~5pm, I saw your ad on website and i am very interested. is the room still available? and when is ok to make a inspection? Thank you and I really hope to hear from you soon! Have a nice day. lynn
26, Gold Coast born and bred who is flying the coup to take a job with government in the Melbourne CBD. My loves in life are *Quality food *Footy (The Rugby Kind) *Horse Racing *Road trips
I’m a student who works in the city part time. I currently am studying at RMIT to get my applied bachelors in logistics and scm. I’m from the country but I’ve been living in the city for the past 5 years so I’d consider myself somewhere between a melbournite and a country boy. My hobbies are sport, music, games and food so as long as I’m doing something that involves one of those 3 or I’m with friends then I’m happy. I’d lived in a few share houses so I’m good to live with and I know the basic sharehouse requirements - keep the house clean, try not to break anything and keep the noise down.
$800/month. I have a room available in a ground level, 2 bedroom apartment near Puckle street St, 5-7 minutes walk to the train station, bus stop, trams and supermarket. The room has a built-in wardrobe, a single-bed with Mattress, side table, study table, chair, pedestal fan and a cupboard with full length mirror. I am a 34 yr old female of Indian origin working in risk management. I do cook a great curry only if you like veggies. Been in Melbourne for over a decade and work most days including weekends. I spend most of my time working and studying, so will appreciate someone that would respect my space & time. Sorry, no party animals. Please email me if you need any further information. * Internet ($30/month) and Electricity Bill not included in the rent* Cheers Anu
Tidy, easy-going female looking for short term dwelling. I am going overseas in September for 3 months but will be back in December/ Jan. My flatmate is in hospital for an extended period so we are having to move from our current house due to her absence and my other flatmate moving in with family to support our friend. I work full time managing a bar so am out of the house most evenings. I have minimal stuff and no pets. I'm also a non-smoker but don't mind if other people smoke. I studied political science and sociology and have a masters in business management. I have lived in Melbourne for 2 years and before that Brisbane for 1 year. I also spent a short time living in Adelaide.
Easy going/laid back Aussie guy looking for a room. I have a 3ft fish tank and a small trailer. Also need a bed supplied as I do not have one.. I smoke but not inside. My interests are going to the gym when possible, playing Bf4 on Ps4, aquariums and have a green thumb..
Hello, I'm Christine, a 24 year old student currently studying full time at Latrobe University. I've just returned from a year living abroad in Japan and am looking for a new place to call home! I'd love to find somewhere long term with friendly housemates. I'm respectful of people's belongings, personal space and privacy and am very clean and tidy. I’m hoping to live with others who also value these things and are respectful. My hobbies include art and video games so I do spend a fair amount of time in my room, as I'm also busy with university work too, but I do enjoy socialising as well and am always up for a good chat. I'm pretty easy going and laid back so I'm sure I'd fit in well with any personalities or house set up. I love animals so I'd be more than happy to share a house with any furry friends too! I hope you will consider me for a future flatmate in your lovely homes. Please avoid calling or messaging me unless you are an early bird user (because I can’t message those). Please just message me here, thank you!

Hi I'm Ben, I'm a 30 year old civil engineer looking for a home. I work a 9-5 job (usually a bit longer) and enjoy making the most out of my time off. I'm looking for people who have good social skills, are tidy, respect their fellow housemates, are responsible and are more than happy to make friends.
I'm quiet easy going who loves to draw. You'll often find me with my notebook and pens as I doodle away. Currently looking at going back to school and finally finishing my studies so plan to find a job around this schedule. I'm cashed up and able to fund my rent and bond. Ideally you will be close to transport and train station. Prefer a place that is pretty low key and minimal partying. Love a casual chat and sharing a meal. Unfortunately I do smoke so an outdoor area is appreciated. I don’t have pets but happy to love yours. Whilst I’d love a minimum of 6 months I’ve just updated my listing to include short stays as I’m open to exploring new places as I figure out where I want to live long term.
Hello I'm on a working holiday from the UK. I am currently temping at Swinburne University of Technology. What makes me a good tenant? I respect people's space and their possessions. I also believe in meeting people half way so we can live smoothly- realistic expectations, rights and responsibilities apply to everyone. I enjoy Netflix, love cinema, museums, galleries and saving up for some short final trips around Australia. I don't have any pets but I love small furry, fluffy animals - rabbits, guinea pigs, and of course, cats ( I also don't mind voluntary/free pet-sitting if you're a landlord on the look-out for your next tenant). I welcome female-only flat shares but as I'm gracefully entering my 30s, I would prefer to find a small place, such as a studio or 1 bed flat just for myself.
I am moving to Melbourne from Canada. I am in my early twenties and will not be spending too much time inside, as I'd rather be exploring the city. I am huge on music and arts. Looking for clean roommates to share a home with for a few weeks! Would love to become friends with you but would understand your need for privacy too. I'm friendly, sociable and chill (by Canadian standards!)
Beautiful little place situated in a nook and cranny in Moonee Ponds. Perfect for people who are looking for a quiet atmosphere at home, but also down to socialise from time to time. The house is a two-storey, 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom gem with a reasonable backyard, big enough to fit lounge chairs and a BBQ. 10 minute walk to the gym, moonee ponds central (woolies, coles, bookstores, retail precints and cafes), moonee ponds station about 15 minutes away, as well as trams 58 and 59 about 10 minutes away as well. Super close to Queen's park if you're into nature, and just out the back of the house there is a nature strip you can go on that runs adjacent to the riverbank. Really beautiful location with plenty of opportunities. The room itself is a fairly decent size, with a huge wardrobe and full length mirrors. Can easily fit a double bed, desk and bookcase. Big window that brings a lot of light in. The house is fully equipped with everything you need: Fridge, microwave, utilities, TV with Xbox (woo!), dining area and plenty of seasonings for your food if you're big on cooking. There's also a carpark available that's included in the rent. Value for the money is amazing. Bills not included in rent, but they are relatively cheap. Around $30 a month unlimited internet, electricity and water bills are paid every three months and are roughly around $35 when you split it between the other roommates. This is a great place to stay if you're on a budget but still wanting to have space and private time! Available ASAP.

You can have your guests/partner sleepover occasionally. This is not a party place and all the visitors should leave my 10pm the latest. I let the room to only one person for this price. It's about 2-3' walk to the tram stop 59 which is on Mt Alexander Road and about 10' to train station Moonee Ponds. Woolworths is 5' away and the shopping centre within walking distance (7-8'). Puckle st with the popular coffee shops and restaurants are a breath away too.
