House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
Hi lovely people! What am I looking for? - Somewhere fun to stay with awesome housemates - Looking to stay for either a few months or for the long haul with the option of subletting my room when I go off for more than a month at a time (e.g. going to europe sometime this year) - Would be great to have outdoors or sports loving housemates that enjoy things like climbing, cycling, hiking, tennis or whatever else - A backyard would be amazing Why would you want me as a housemate? - I'm out of the house most of the time, working, I have things on most evenings and I'm often out for days or longer at a time on outdoorsy adventures - When I'm around, I like to be social, have a chat, share a beer or a wine, a meal, a movie or anything else happening - Got plenty of board games, and always keen on games nights - I have a car with plenty of space and a towball to help cart around big things - I enjoy working on projects around the house, and keen to do some gardening (by way of experimentation!) Frequently asked questions: - I was born here. Lived in NZ for awhile, and now back in Melbourne - I'm house trained. I'm not a neat freak, but believe things work nicer when dishes are cleaned soon after they are used (or the morning after if it's near bed time), objects are not blocking the walkways, and lawns are mowed - No dramas whatsoever about anyone's race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation - Left leaning, not that others need to be, but we'd probably get along better if we all were :) What you should know that might be an issue: - I would like a place where couchsurfers or visitors (anyone's) are welcome time to time - I like dumpster diving and won't hesitate to join anyone else willing or invite others - I'm mostly vegetarian but don't care what others eat / don't eat. Happy to be vegan in the house if others are
-Found a place!- Hi, we just moved down from Brisbane about a month ago so keen to meet new people and make friends! :D We're hoping to find a place that is friendly and welcoming but also allow us to have our own space. We quite often like to share laughs, movies, and meals with our housemates, but don't want a party house (outside of BBQ's and birthdays etc). We're respectful of other people's space but are looking for flat-mates rather than flat-humans. Homes are better than houses. I'm Karen (25) a full-time working professional as a risk engineering consultant for a culture change firm, likes to laugh, likes to eat, but also likes to chill in my room. Matt (31) studies environmental science and outdoor rec at Victoria University full-time, is very warm and happy, likes to get out and about, and likes to eat more. We love pets (but don't have any) and plants (we have 2) so if you have some that's awesome, but would prefer a place without kids (visits are definitely cool though). We're not in a rush to move into anywhere, so we will take our time to pick a great spot but if you think you're awesome and would love to hear more about us, just let me know!
Hi there! My name is Natalie, I am 23 years old. I am a food technology high school teacher, I work full time and will be out of the house from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Mon-Fri (there will always be some goodies that I bring home!). On weekends I usually go out or head to the footy, sometimes even chill at home and watch some Netflix if the week has been hectic (which is most weeks are :P)! I am pretty easy going and easy to live with. Happy to do my own thing or chill together with a glass of wine. I am a bit nerdy and I try to lead a healthy lifestyle with the occasional splurge every once in a while. Ideally, I would like a long-term roommate for roughly a year or more, so if this all suits you then let me know and we can arrange a catch up to meet and if all goes well find a place as soon as possible!
Hey I'm Flo and I'm a Registered Nurse from the Gold Coast (QLD). I've been living in Melbourne for just over 2 years now. I have a pretty chilled personality and get along well with other people (and their doggos and cats). When I'm not at work, I'm usually binge watching a series on Netflix, at the gym, reading a book at the park/beach, exploring new places, driving to far places for short distances of time, going out for a few (or many) bevs, attending gigs and festivals or I'm napping (nurse life). I enjoy cooking and usually like to meal prep for the week depending on how busy my week will be. I love having a chat and spending time with my housemates but I also enjoy my alone time too and respect others and their needs. I'm essentially looking to join an already existing share house but I'm also open to team-up! :)
Sociable kiwi girl who has just moved here after spending the summer at home and a few years in London prior to that. Enjoy travelling, sports, good food and good people. I am a Nurse at the Royal Children's hospital. I am looking for a flat with cool people, not a party house but sociable together while having separate lives too. I am neat and tidy, laid back and enjoy staying at home as well as getting out and about exploring new places. Ideally I’d like to live within 20 mins public transport or bike ride to the hospital. Please let me know if you think I may suit. Thanks :)
I'm a 19 year old Administration Assistant, and I am currently studying my Bachelor of Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine. I work 3 days a week 8-4 and then study online at home. I love cooking and sharing my food with others (hence the nutrition degree) and I also spend a fair bit of time at the gym. My beautiful puppies will stay at my home (parents) when I leave so if you have a pet that is a definite bonus. I'm definitely at the cross section of lone wolf and social butterfly, so I love having alone time in my room but am also down to share a meal or what movie marathons! I'm looking to move out any time before September, but end of April is probably best for me so I can put aside my bond and months rent etc. Im also flexible with length of stay, preferably 6 months or more though :)
We are a young couple from Canada new to the city and want to make the most of our time here! We love to adventure but also enjoy a glass of wine and a good chat at the end of the day. We aren't big partiers and are super easy going:) We're looking to make a place our home for the few months we're here and hoping to find somewhere for 4-6 months starting May 1 (if possible)! If you have any other questions for us just send a message and we would love the opportunity to have some awesome new roomies !!
Hi I'm Liam, working full time as an engineer in Melbourne's CBD. I'm generally independent, but keen to have a social household with the odd shared dinner or quiet drinks after work. I don't have any pets myself but would love getting to know yours if you have any! I think I'm pretty easy going and I appreciate honest conversations should they need to come up. I love playing social sport on weeknights and chilling out with Netflix, tea and a crossword when winding down for a work night. I will be away until mid June travelling, and looking to organise moving into a new home sometime in July with some flexibility on dates.
I'm starting a new job in Melbourne at the beginning of July, would like to move in a week or two in advance. (Coming from Sydney) Clean, Friendly, Will pay rent on time, have a car so would prefer parking to be available, on street is okay though.
Hi All! Unfortunately moving in April from where I am in ascot vale but would love to find new accomodation nearby! Will be ready to move by late March at the earliest. I'm an easy going 21 year old that works too much for my own good but loves having a chat around dinner time and flicking on Netflix or the tele. I come with a PS4 and a Netflix account that can become communal if wanted to. I keep to myself a fair bit in my room as I do work from home every couple of weekends and a few days a week but I crave social interaction with other housemates too! My budget is around $1000 a month after bills and bond won't be a hassle, and I've never had an issue with paying rent. Currently on a cleaning schedule which involves floorboards and bathrooms so I do keep clean around the house! My room can sometimes be a bit iffy though but it's always kept to a decent standard, but I'm always clean around the house. Into board games and my computer but also have a sporting edge which makes me leave the house every now and again! I also go to a lot of music gigs(hit 60 bands last year!!) Also interested in team ups, please chuck a message if you are as well!
Hi I am 31 years old from Brazil(if it matters), on my second working holiday visa. I'm an electronic engineer who is now seeking work in the role, but while it doesn't happen, I will keep living from backpacker jobs(delivery at the moment). I am vegetarian(can do vegan at home, if necessary), Lefty, handy person who likes music(can play guitar and drums) and computers. Also sociable and easy going. I am house trained and enjoy a clean environment. I don't really bother about other people mess and dirty dishes, it just can't be too much, and it is fine : ) Ideally, I am looking for something below 500 PCM, but given that those places are rare, I can go up to 600 PCM plus bills(around 140 pw) depending on the location and the room itself.
Hi there, I am a mature, working professional female who is moving to Melbourne permanently on 24th April. I am looking for a house share type accommodation. I would prefer a semi furnished room if possible. I look forward to hearing from you.

I'm currently studying psychology and work as a receptionist in hotels around the city. I'm pretty busy all the time but am keen to hang out or am good at keeping to myself if that's the vibe. I spend most of my free time out seeing my friends or have my nose buried in a book.
Hello, Having just recently uprooted from Sydney to Melbourne, I am seeking a long-term roof over my head. By my own estimation, I'd say I'm quite well domesticated, experienced in share situations, easy going and cleanly organised. Ideally, I am looking for somewhere that provides the convenience of being relatively close to work (Airport), affords a peaceful and friendly environment and within walking distance of transport and fresh produce. My passions are philosophy, health, science and technology. I consume a Pescatarian diet, however only occasionally indulge in fish. Most of the time I just enjoy researching, pondering and exercising my curiosity freely.
I am pretty social (most days). I am really clean and love to cook when I am in the mood. I have a full time job, so paying on time and the full amount won't be a problem. I am respectful of other people's opinion and views. I love reading, watching cooking shows, chilling, socialising, trying new things and travelling. I'm really into fitness and do my best to keep in tip top shape.
I'm a private, but really nice, genuine guy who pays bills on time, am mostly flexible with things and easy to get along with. I'm open to anyone to live with as long as they are accepting and are clean and not noisy. :)
