The property is situated on a quiet suburban road about 20 minute walk (4km) from Monash University. We have a nature reserve, Scotchman's creek trail very close by (150m) which is great for walks/runs/bike rides. There's air conditioning in every bedroom + the lounge, there's a shed for storage, a small courtyard with clothes line, garage space and an outdoor living area that's heated. Transport options include a bus stop about 200m away on Ferntree Gully Road and it's also a 5-minute drive to Huntingdale Station. The cost per month includes rent + water + gas + internet. The only additional cost is energy, which can fluctuate due to aircon usage in winter. It's a new house with a modern feel and good atmosphere.

Hey there! We are a couple (with a very sweet and friendly elderly cat) searching for a single, preferably large bedroom with easy access to Monash University. Tim is a Maths student who does theatre, is a video game enthusiast + musician while Tina studies Nursing and adores fine art, vegetarian/vegan cooking and adventures! We are both tidy, respectful and very easy going people with an excellent sense of humour. While we both enjoy going out and partying during the weekend we'd prefer to live in a chilled out/peaceful environment (gotta study sometime). While our cat is super affectionate and loving to most people she might need some time to adjust to other animals in the house if there are any since she's spoilt asf. Anyway, message us if we sound like the right room mates for your house and we'll arrange for a time to meet you.

Hey-oh! I'm Matt, 26 y.o, full time IT Specialist working in Education. I love music, fitness, festivals, travel and goodtimes. Looking for a place that has a 'homey' vibe where everyone can just chat and chill, I'm very chatty and I love housemate adventures. Looking for people who can keep the house reasonably clean and who have a good sense of humour. Bonus points to musicians and fitness enthusiasts (or just plain fitness junkies). Fun stuff: I'm in a band and I play several instruments - I only play with headphones though! I love animals - dogs preferred I like to get out-there with activities - Skydiving, scuba diving, Obstacle courses, etc. I rarely drink (Although I enjoy wine. Wine is good) I have the 'functioning-adult' thing sorted and clean up after myself Currently living in a large (8 person) share house but wish to move to something quieter (but not too quiet...)

Hi! I'm Melissa and I'm a student at Monash University (Clayton). I hope to find a place that has easy public transport options that goes to the university. I've been living in share houses for a few years before I moved down to Melbourne so I like to keep common areas clean. I don't drink, party or smoke. But I am a very late sleeper (if that is a problem) as I tend to stay up doing work for uni. I don't cook meat and I'm allergic to animals :)
Spacious living room and kitchen, close to public transport (bus 734, 767 (8 mins to Deakin Uni) are in front of the house and Jordanville train station is 8 mins walking), friendly housemates (all working or studying full time). Room is furnished with queen size bed, side table , wardrobe,...
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to the office each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
The location of the house is very convenient with lots of access to public transport. 3 minutes walk tops to bus stops. For those who owns car, you can park on the house driveway or free parking across the house next to a park. 24 hours Hungry Jacks is just around the corner. 24 hours Kmart is not far from the house. The house has a big backyard which is a great place for BBQ. Garage will be going under renovation in becoming a chill hideout space. From Home: 3 minutes to Blackburn Road Bus 703, 736 (towards Blackburn) 25 minutes to Monash Clayton Bus 703 (towards Middle Brighton) From Burwood Highway/Blackburn Intersection 8 minutes to Deakin University by tram (7 stops) Stop 70 - Blackburn Road Stop 63 – Deakin University 15 minutes to Box Hill Central Bus 732, 735 (towards Box Hill) 5 minutes to Syndal Station Bus 703 (towards Middle Brighton) From Box Hill Central Any train towards city, Flinders Street, takes roughly 40 minutes Feel free to come over and have a look, no hard feeling, no stress at all.
I am hoping to rent out the whole house for $350 per week. Not including bills. It is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house on a 800 sqm block of land. Perhaps perfect for a couple or a family. House comes with a double bed, dining table, washing machine, coffee table. I am looking for 6 month rental. House is 10 minutes walk to Syndal station, 12 minutes walk to Mt Waverly Station.
A young working professional in mid-twenties who is also attending university for a Master's in Business. Easy going and social but also have a very busy schedule so I am out of the house quite often. Love to maintain a clean common area and keep an orderly house but also like to relax and share a glass of wine or meal with the roomies. Ideally would love to find a couple of like-minded friends to start a sharehouse together.
Looking for that South Eastern suburbia house to reside in with chilled, easy-going housemates? Here it is. This bright 3 bedroom brick house has a large kitchen, two large living areas, a dining area, study nook, laundry and two bathrooms. It has floorboards throughout, ducted heating, air-conditioning (in one living room and the bedroom up for rent), gas cooking, dishwasher, 2 bathrooms, a large yard and solar panels covers most of our electricity bills. The house is fully furnished (except the bedroom for rent) and includes all kitchen, laundry appliances plus Foxtel is free as well. We are located in a dead-end street (no through traffic) next to Scotchman's Creek which has a path into Chadstone (20 mins walk) and the city. There is public transport nearby with bus stops to Monash University, Oakleigh station, Chadstone Shopping Centre, Glen Waverley station and Box Hill station all around a 5 minute walk away. All parking is on the street, however, with limited traffic this is not too difficult. Electricity - FREE (with solar panels unless we use significant amounts) Gas - $17 per month approximately Internet - $30 per month approximately Foxtel - FREE (all paid by one of the housemates) Lawns - $15 per month approximately Generally meals we do ourselves, however, we share condiments. We are looking for someone who is friendly, kind, easy-going, neat, organised and responsible. Hopefully someone who is social and enjoys having housemates that will ask them if they had a good day. On weekends, they are interested in going out for dinner or going to a movie. We all share responsibilities around the house but also know it does not need to be perfect, so a balance of responsibility.
Hi, my name is Liam Tran. I’m 26 years old and studying MBA Program at Deakin University. I’m very quiet, clean and tidy; I spend most of my free time running my business in my country. I love Jazz music, discovering art galleries and music store with friends at the weekend. Sometimes I like chilling out every Saturday night at lounge/bar, listen to live music and enjoy a grass of wine and a cigar with my friends. I want to rent/share a room/house/apartment with young people. It is more preferable if it have a car garage or off street parking.
I'm a very relaxed person when it comes to life and as such I am always open to new experiences and meeting new people both of which I hope to have with my future flat mates. For fun I play any sort of sport I can get my hands on or just hang out with friends and joke around with them. I am currently studying a bachelor of Information Technology at Monash University in Clayton and am looking for a part time job as we speak.
