Environmental Scientist looking for a new home together with my partner, a nutritionist and recipe developer. We are environmentally conscious, place great store on having contact to nature, and living healthy and happy lives.
Looking for a place on the Sunny Coast until November this year (6-7 months). I have a full time job where I split my time between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast for work so you'll only see me Wednesday night to Sunday night each week. Keen surfer and love a chat. Have a few mates already on the coast but look forward to meeting new friends.
Hi! My name is Lars, and I’m looking for a place to move in with my partner Kashmira. We are both in our early twenties, with eco conscious attitudes and a desire to live healthily and happily. I work in vegetation restoration and home garden landscaping, and Kashmira works in administration and nutrition. We’re looking for somewhere to call home for the next few years, where we can feel connected to nature and keep a positive energy in the household. We believe in treating where we will live with gratitude and respect, and will look after it as if it were our own. We are always happy to catch up for a chat and get to know new people, and look forwards to meeting you and talking in more depth about your home for rent!
Hey potential houseo! *I have a beautiful, character-filled male cat (named Soya, like the bean), if this is a-ok please keep reading* Who am I? I am a part-time artist, part-time nature fairy, part-time activist, part-time hospitality worker, using as much of my spare-time as possible to create hand-built ceramics and enjoy the out-doors. When I'm home, you can find me dancing in the kitchen while I prepare food or in the garden. Here I'm usually either meditating, picnicking or watching clouds - feel free to join me! What am I looking for in a house? I'm on the hunt for a medium sized room with (hopefully! i'm open-minded) floorboards and nice natural lighting, within an eco-conscious home with plenty of green space. Close by the beach, a river, parklands etc. would be ticking a big box for me. I would adore a backyard and some space to grow food too! I'm looking to set up my room to double as a well-kept clean art space, as well as an occasional Reiki clinic space. With this in mind, I'm after a relatively quiet home, not a party house. 180 INCLUDING BILLS is my absolute max. My most ideal housemates try their best to be: - Clean and tidy - Good face-to-face communicators - Respectful of privacy and boundaries - Body positive, queer positive, all of the positives - Interested in environmental issues/eco-conscious - Up for shared 'family meals' occasionally! These are the qualities I try my best to embody, and I say I do a pretty good job at it! Read: This young gal does have share-house experience. Woo! Please get in contact if you think you have a space for me that fulfills this description/almost does - I'm happy to discuss differences or answer any questions you may have! Peace and love, Clo.
Hi, Islander from Tahiti, French Polynesia, just came back from two months travelling in south east asia and south india. My partner and I are actually looking for a new heaven to stay. I'm a vegan Chef working full time in a Café in Moffat. I spent most of my spare time over or under the Ocean. We are a very easy going couple, quiet, peaceful and very tidy. We like to share some good time around a good dinner but also appreciate our own space and moment. Early bird we will never miss a sunrise on a day off ! We also love spend time in the kitchen when we both not working and cook for the people that we love !!!
I have just sold my house in Victoria and moved up to the Sunshine Coast (i used to live here about 13yrs ago). I am ready to move into accommodation as soon as possible. I have my own bed, some furniture for the bedroom which is on the way up. We are a working couple with a friendly dog. Look forward to all your replies.
My name is Chloe-Amanda. I've struggled getting a small place with my doggo and two cats (I can absolutely not give them up they’re all awesome and well behaved, we’re all pretty chill) so am looking to team up with someone to get a house with a big yard. Because I have the pets, I would be happy to go say, a house for $550 a week - and pay the difference. I have been looking in Mudjimba, Alex Heads, Mooloolaba and Maroochy. Any of those suburbs would suit me. I am a senior journalist and work in Brisbane Mondays and Tuesdays and 2 Sundays a month. The rest of the time I am heavily into fitness, beach, coffee.. and just living really! I am not much of a party person. Just pretty chill. Looking for someone to apply for places together. I have all furniture etc. Chloe
I am a quiet and clean university student, working two jobs and trying to complete my degree. I have a beautiful 2-year-old Staffy, who is very friendly and affectionate. I mostly spend my time working, studying or training my dog.
This beautiful Resort Town-house offers large master room with en-suite, queen Sized Bed, Built-in Wardrobe and Ceiling Fan. Spacious living through out kitchen, dinning and lounge area opening out directly onto back courtyard and canal. Great for kayaking, fishing, stand-up paddle-boarding etc... You would also have full access to Resort facilities such as swimming pool, tennis court, basket ball hoop, chipping green and large BBQ area. Mudjimba is in a very central location on the coast with easy access to the motorway and public transport. The Resort is walking distance to beach, supermarket, and other handy amenities.
Hi there, Im an environmental scientist. I work mostly from home, but am usually away a few days a week. I also have a small friendly dog, but that is negotiable atm. I keep to myself mostly, and work a lot. I like to train and adventure quite a bit 😊
I’m easy going, clean, and love animals, I’m into drawing, music, free diving and surfing. Happy to have a chat but also like doing my own thing. Plant based and I make raw vegan cakes 😋
Im looking for a unfurnished place - granny flat, 1 brm etc up to $250 per week OR a team up where we both get our own bathrooms and maybe even living areas - a good share place up to approx $210 each. I have a small amount of my own furniture that I want to keep using, I dont mind sharing what I do have but I am only interested in unfurnished places. (Unfurnished 1 brms/granny flats or if a team up, I have furniture of my own but not enough for a while house so there will be plenty of room for yours ) I am vegan and need to live with someone who is vegetarian or vegan or very respectful of my choice. I have all my own kitchen stuff to use for this. I work in Mooloolaba at a stable job that I've had for around 5 years. My hours can change from 3-5 days a week and I love being at home and chilling in a relaxed place, not a party person at all these days and seeking a flatmate who is also pretty quiet. Im clean, honest, reliable & respectful. I just want to reduce the amount of rent I pay currently. Im not on a lease so am flexible around time and not too fussed on the area but anywhere suitable between Kuluin and Peregian would suit me. I also dont drink or smoke, i dont mind if you drink occassionally but def non-smoker please. If you have a dog Im cool with that, as long as they are cleaned up after and hopefully like extra pats! Send me a message if this might sound like a fit :) Cheers, Rebel
Hey, I am an 28 year old man from Norway, who recently moved to Australia, and now needs a place to call home. I currently live in the Melbourne Area, but moving to Queensland as soon as I have a new place to live. I am not that picky when it comes to the location, as long as it is close to the Beach/ Ocean I am going to work full time, and I am a steady payer of the rent and other expences. I am very easy going and flexible, and usualy go along very good with other people. I am too tidy, and like to have it clean around me. So I have no problem with cleaning the bathroom twice a week for excample. That doesnt mean that you have to be as tidy as I am. My background is from the military, security business, police and fire departement, so I like to concider myself as a solid flatmate, who doesnt come up with that much bullshit for those around me. And on my freetime I go skiing maybe too much, hunting, diving, icehockey etc. I would prefer to live with a female, because I like to have a female touch in the place I am going to call home. If you got a pet, that would be a big plus, as I miss my dogs that is back in Norway. I dont take up too much space, and usually only shower in 2 minutes. Most important, is that the person I am going to live with, is someone I can call a friend, and not just a flatmate, I dont know that many people in Australia yet. If this sounds interesting, dont be afraid to get in touch with me. Best regards, Aleksander Skog
Hello potential roomie :D ! I'm looking at moving to the Sunshine Coast in October, so I wanted to see what might be available now so my move isn't so stressful later in the year :) I'm currently living in Toowoomba and I live on my own with my 2 Kitty cats, so I would need somewhere I could have them both! I'm very independent & I currently work in disability support and will be looking for a job in the same industry up there, and possibly some bar work but I'd take any work I can find just to get my move happening! I'm pretty low key and chill, but also a social butterfly and love to have friends over for some drinks & hangs - the wild party scene isn't too much my vibe anymore :) Ideally id like to find a place with some space as I'm used to living by myself, and a housemate/s that is quite laid back and friendly/social! I love everything outdoors, just chilling on the beach or in a park, learning the guitar. I'm starting a business of making crystal jewellery and clothes - I'm a bit of a hippie in that sense. really what you see is what you get with me so if you're interested in having me as roomie, Shoot me a message!
I’ll generally keep to myself. I’m clean & very friendly!! Will also be spending 2 nights or even more a week out of the house. I enjoy a nice wine and good company.
I am Sky, peaceful and quiet guy who needs a place to live for 6 to 12 months. I am very independent, can keep myself amused for hours without bothering anyone. I enjoy playing my acoustic guitar and singing, you are welcome to join in :) I am a computer tech with a mobile computer repair business. I teach computer classes at various locations around the coast. Im not a regular drinker but I enjoy a social drink now and then with my housemates or friends. I dont smoke. Ive been living next to the airport for 3 years but its getting way too noisy now so Id really like to get back to the country (or at least away from this noise) where I can grow some organic vegies and wake up to the birds rather than a rocket taking off in my back yard. I recently moved to Coolum Beach but it's only until I can find a more suitable place and compatible friends. I love animals and get on great with all of them. I like to compost and recycle everything possible so theres only a few bags in the wheelie bin. I am very happy to help around the house, I prefer a clean place to live in so Im happy to keep it clean, ride the vacuum or lawn mower (I own both), kitchen and bathroom always clean. I am a keen electronics enthusiast and love to tinker with gadgets. Im always happy to help with any computer problems. I do everything I can to save electricity. Im developing some small scale solar ideas you can see in my facebook page Portable Solar Generator. Youll see lots of links from Sky Johnson, that's me on fb. Click the link to my Portable Solar Generator Page, theres a pic of a solar panel on a small trolley. In my Solar Generator Page you can see a couple of videos of me showing you how I use my solar panels, the electronics that go with them, and the things I can use with the power I make. I also love watching the stars and planets, photography, markets, fresh fruit n veg, the beach of course, and good live music. I work part time, on call, fixing computer problems and I teach computer classes at various locations. Other than that I'll be out drumming up business or tinkering with computers to get them fixed so I can sell them cheap to the needy. I don't make any mess or noise fixing computers, my only tool is a screwdriver. On the other hand I have boxes of software and spare parts. I will need a space where I can work. To see the size of my office needs, checkout the videos on my facebook page about the solar panels, it shows my outdoor office space. I like my home to be quiet and peaceful just like you do. When Im not working I am very quiet around the house. I can always amuse myself without bothering you. I would like to find a nice place with friendly co tenants who like to share meals sometimes, enjoy a social drink at home or out at the local, maybe someone who plays the guitar or any instrument, sings (everyone can sing) I like to grow some nice vegies in the yard so we can all have some fresh food from the garden. I need some space to store my stuff, I can fit everything into a single car garage or under the house out of the way. I have everything I need, queen bed, 2 x 2 seater lounges, computer desk, shelves for my computer stuff to keep it organized and neat. I have those plastic storage containers on wheels that stack up, theyre good for keeping things sorted and easy to see whats in each box. I would really like to share with musical or artistic people who are creative and not going to trash every good idea I have. Some of my ideas have turned into a business that made me a good income. I need to be around people who are open to new ideas, supportive of solar power, recycling, organic vegies, healthy lifestyle, friendly people. I can't live with drunks, miserable, angry, condescending people. Thanks for your time, Sky :)
I’m super easy going, tidy, respectful and keep to myself mostly but I do enjoy good company. I’m looking for like-minded housemates to get along with. I love a lazy night but also love having a few🍻🥂 and I do smoke. i work two jobs part time and always pay my bills on time, everytime. Please message me if you think I’d be a good fit :)
