Hi my name is Victor, currently working full time as a Business Development Coordinator. Looking for a place in the South Eastern suburbs and wanting to share a place with other housemates who are looking for similar accommodation. However I would prefer to have my own bathroom. If this is something you can help with or are interested in then please feel free to get in touch with me.
Hey there! We are a couple (with a very sweet and friendly elderly cat) searching for a single, preferably large bedroom with easy access to Monash University. Tim is a Maths student who does theatre, is a video game enthusiast + musician while Tina studies Nursing and adores fine art, vegetarian/vegan cooking and adventures! We are both tidy, respectful and very easy going people with an excellent sense of humour. While we both enjoy going out and partying during the weekend we'd prefer to live in a chilled out/peaceful environment (gotta study sometime). Although our cat is super affectionate and loving to most people she might need some time to adjust to other animals in the house if there are any since she's spoilt asf. Anyway, message us if we sound like the right room mates for your house and we'll arrange for a time to meet you.
I am a friendly person with respect and good communication with others. I am smart and tidy. I am currently studying business management and working as well for orora packaging.
Hi, my names Daniel. Looking for a place to stay as my family is moving overseas. I'm very laidback and easy going/get along with. I Run my own concreting business so most days I'll be out and about, good money from the business so rent$ ain't ever be an issue. I ride motocross so somewhere for my bike is a must and I also have a business trailer to store too. A space around the size of a single garage is fine for the bike and trailer as the trailer isn't big. Cheers.
Hi I'm Natasha, A 25 years old working professional, who is looking to move closer to the city and to my work as I currently live in Pakenham. As I work full time I don't really get up to much during the week, mostly reading, watching Netflix, cooking and if really motivated going for a workout. On the weekends I love to go shopping, even grocery shopping. I am one of those people that goes down every aisle, checks every rack to make sure I don't miss anything. I love go out for brunch, lunch, dinner (I should mention I love food!!) and catching up with friends. I also like reading so on weekends you will see me come home from the library with a mountain of books. I am a clean and tidy person who don't like conflict, so I'm pretty chill about most things. I respect others space and belongs and would expect the same. What I really hoping is that I can find a place to call home and people I can have a chat with over food and wine.
Hi, I am Bismeet kaur from India. I am doing Masters of Architecture from Monash university. I am a very jolly and polite person. I am always up for exploring the city, hanging out and making new friends. I love cooking and I am a vegetarian. I prefer to keep my surroundings neat and clean. I am very adjustable person and doesn't like to interfere in others life.
Hi, I'm Marla, I'm a science student and a trans woman. I love to cook (and I'm not too bad at it) and I think good communication is the best thing in a house. Whether housemates are social or private, neat or messy, making sure we can communicate clearly and openly about the house means things can always be settled and run smoothly without any bitterness, stress or inconvenience. When I'm not studying, I like women's sports, card games and watching shows with friends.
We are Kostas and Elena, a young, friendly couple from Greece. Both of us are 27 years old, and we are working at Melbourne the last 9 months. We like to meet new people and cultures, and both of us have experience living with other people and respecting their privacy, while at the same time like to socialise and have interesting discussions. Elena is an accountant and likes music, dance, exercising and travelling. Kostas is an IT engineer and likes music, reading books and exercising too. We have already lived in a shared house in Melbourne and the experience was great. If you have anything that fits our criteria please do not hesitate to send us a message!
Hey everyone! Mo (22) Quentin (22) and myself (23) have a super affordable room in Murrumbeena for lease! The location is walking distance to Murrumbeena station which have express trains to the city, 15 min walk to Chadstone shopping centre and Carnegie strip shops. We're all university students and are super relaxed, we enjoy sharing a meal together and playing sport together but also respect time alone! Currently the room has a mattress but we're happy to help you find/move in! if you have any other questions just let us know 😊 looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks
URGENT! I'm from Japan, half Australian and a first-year student at Monash:) Love music, animals, outdoor, cooking. Quiet and Clean (would prefer to live with female students) Close to bus/train/tram stop preferred Thank you!
Hi, I'm Kien. I'm a friendly laid back person, a bit introverted but also usually up for a good chat. Currently I'm doing a bachelor degree. Besides studying, I like reading and listening to books, and learning new things. Fun facts: I'm not proud of my cooking skills. I mean I can make fire and all, but these days everybody can do that. Recently I learned how to distinguish between things that get questionably burned and things that get reasonably burned. Made some significant progress before switching to a frozen microwaveable diet. I ride an unicycle for short-distance traveling. The reason I learned unicycling in the first place was that walking is mundane and inefficient on certain surfaces. I like cats. An ideal place I'm looking for would be nice, tidy and reasonably quiet, with friendly, sociable & fun housemates so we can make it a cozy home. I'm also interested in teaming up.
I just arrived to Melbourne on April 5th, landed a job, and I'm ready to leave the hotel and settle down in Melbourne for at least a year. I came here on a working holiday visa, but I'm not planning to leave Melbourne. I want to work hard and invest the money I can save for the next 12 months. I'm 25 years old. I studied mechanical engineering in New Orleans. I was born and raised in Ecuador but came here as Italian. I have an Italian Passport, because of my father's family. I'm the oldest son in a big family (3 sisters and one brother), whom I miss so much. I enjoy having dinner or sharing some drinks with good friends. I really like to cook and eat good food. I love soccer, pizza, dogs, meeting new people, reading, and learning new things. I am very respectful, clean, and tidy (but I guess everybody says that when they're looking for a place). No, really, I like things to be clean, especially in the kitchen and bathroom.
Hey, Im Dylan, grad student doing my masters in film and media while also working part time at dan murphy's (4 days uni, 3 days work). I'm a pretty chilled guy who is pretty contempt with just hanging out with friends on nights off so having chilled roommates would be ace too. Im definitely one of those kids who grew up with parents who couldn't stand the shame of a dirt in the house so cleaning is no issue for me.
Hi everyone :) Just semi newly renovated. We have a good size bedroom to Rent. Rent can be negotiated. The bedroom comes with a Queen size bed, cupboard, desk if needed. We have a variety of different styles & sizes of side table or coffee table & bit of Art for you to furnish your room. We do expect that linen on the bed is cleaned once every 2 weeks (we have had issues prior with others not doing for months. Yuk) There is also a ceiling fan for hot days. I supply the heating for your room as some heaters aren't safe. Please no build up of rubbish, food, containers. Basically rubbish. We have a great large kitchen with Dish washer, fan forced Oven & a middle Island. Attached to the Island is a 2 seater dinning table for casual use. Please no food in bedroom but if so dishes to be removed straight after use. We have a med to small lounge room with desk top. Really comfortable leather lounge. The TV room is not used that much by us most times. The Bathroom is awesome with a Bath/Spa that can fit 3 people also a separate shower. Large mirrors that cover half the walls. We have 1 separate toilet. The lovely Backyard is very large & low maintenance as is the front yard. We do ask as this is not just a House but a Home. Everyone is expected to help out every 2 weeks with a tiny bit of gardening, as said very low maintenance. Also that the kitchen is kept clean & everyone puts in the clean the house. As the main part of the house is tiles so very easy. The bedrooms are carpeted so please vacuum regularly if they get dirty. Just the basic's. Either we all put in for a kitty jar for the basic's eg toilet paper & basic cleaning Products eg dish detergent, spray & wipe. Or we all take turns in buying these cheap basic things. We sometimes do a large shared dinner. If you join us we have the deal who ever cooks doesn't have to clean. This always works out great for everyone. In regards to food we ask that you buy your own. You will have a shelf in the fridge & a shelf in our large freezer. Also your own space in the pantry. We have had problems prior with people not buying their own & eating most of our. Please respect this. No one will touch your food at all. Food includes every thing unless you want to negotiate another arrangement. Smokers outside only. Please no drug users at all or any alcoholics. No one with any type of illegal history.
Brand new 2 bedroom apartment with large garden and air conditioning with 1 room available. Nice quiet street with lots of parking. Apartment comes furnished with everything brand new but the room is unfurnished with built in robes. Train station and shops/post office/take away at the end of the street and Chadstone shopping centre is a 5 minute drive. Train into the city takes 15 minutes.
Our home is conveniently located just moments from Murrumbeena Village (450 meter walking distance to train Station) with groceries, supermarket, coffee and popular brunch places. It's also surrounded with parks, safe walking & bike path, recreation facilities and more. The house is newly renovated and fully furnished with heigh ceilings, ducted heating, ducted air conditioning and many more features. The room is very spacous and would include a double bed, BIR and own window with lots of light. You are welcome to see the place (in due course).
Like my own space but also very friendly and respectful Clean and enjoy a few wines and out for dinner with friends Gym 3 to 4 days a week
Hey boys and girls We’ve just secured a new house and are looking for 2 wonderful people to join us in sharing this space (there’s a lot of it) The house is situated in Murrumbeena. there are 2 bathrooms, 4 large bedrooms and one small one (potentially available at a cheaper price) a massive well lit lounge room, a dining room and a swanky sun room. The house is 900m away from Murrumbeena station and with an IGA, pharmacy and kebab shop across the road not a lot is left to desire. but if you are looking for that something special, across the road there is also what would have to be one of the last video rental shops left in existence. If you’re a Monash student this house is ideal as it is right between the Clayton and Caulfield campuses with Caulfield just a 4 minute drive away. What were looking for: the ideal housemate would be of similar age and lifestyle to us, no preference on gender but would love it if you were a good time and got along well with us as we’re looking for more of a home than a co-habit experience. Rent is $160 p/w not including utilities and long term stays are preferred. Also for your convenience i have placed a box of milo cereal in every photo for scale. (please note this is a family size box) If you have any queries shoot me a PM, look forward to hearing from you
Easy going mature minded individual that is considerate of others space and things. Enjoys cooking and the team effort of keeping the place tidy. The home I see as a place to recharge for the day ahead, some social interaction and time out. Tend to be more social out with friends than at home. Preference for unit style accommodation with some yard & Lug. Thanks, Sam
