Hi, I have a room for rent for one person in a fully-furnished two bedroom, single-storey unit with one other person in Murrumbeena. Situated in a quiet block of 10 units, I’m conveniently located near Murrumbeena and Hughesdale railway stations, providing easy access to the city (30 minutes) and Monash Caulfield and Monash Clayton campuses. Both Chadstone and Oakleigh Shopping Centres, Carnegie shopping strip, parks and great café’s/restaurants are also in close proximity. The unit has two bedrooms, a shared bathroom (shower and bath) with separate toilet, rear courtyard which opens into the garage (with BBQ, outdoor setting and clothes line), a large lounge room with TV and two sofas, separate laundry (with washing machine, dryer and laundry tub), central heating as well as cooling (kitchen/meals area), fully accessorised kitchen (utensils, microwave, kettle, toaster, gas stove top, fan-forced oven etc.), a large pantry, large fridge and an additional separate freezer. Adjacent to the kitchen is a table and four chairs for meals. For those who love to cook, there is a flourishing herb garden with a large variety of herbs as well as cos lettuce, spring onions and garlic growing in the courtyard. The unit has polished floorboards throughout, except for the bathroom and toilet. You will see in the photos the kitchen and bathroom have 1970’s-style wallpaper. It’s pretty garish, but after a while you don’t see it. The bedroom will come with a single bed but is big enough for a double bed if you have one, small built-in wardrobe plus a large separate wardrobe, and bookshelf. The unit has external blinds for summer, but the room also has a pedestal fan for hot nights. Parking is on-street. Smokers outside only.
Hey flossers! I'm looking to join an established house with a couple of new grousemates. Something short-term over the spring/summer would be ideal while I save some money to avoid another Melbourne winter. A sublet would suit me or an empty room for me and my bare essentials. I'm 30, female, vegetarian, work at Nintendo and enjoy sunny day time activities and travelling. I'm a simple housemate with my own life, in and out doing things and quite often away over weekend nights with friends, road tripping or at festivals. Hope to speak to you soon! :)
I'm an easy going guy, moving from the UK to complete my PhD at Monash University. I'm a pretty decent chef, like to chill out and socialize. Imperial to a couple of games of FIFA although I'm not very good at it! Looking to move in end of September before starting my course on the 1st of October
Hey, I'm Belinda, I'm 30, and have a 5 year old feline fur child. Looking for my own place or a lovely housemate. I would prefer to live with one other female, not a large share house. I work full time in retail. I consider myself to be reliable, considerate, friendly, easy going, and tidy. I'm quite respectful of others space and privacy. I enjoy chilling in watching tv or a movie, going out for brunches, dinners, or the occasional drink. I'm a non smoker and would prefer to live with a non smoker also.
Available for rent is a goodsize bedroom with plenty of storage space for clothes etc. in a 3 bedroom house with 2 other people. The room comes with great sized window with curtains & Aircon! We're looking for a clean and respectful housemate to live with us for at least 6 months. You're going to get a comfortable, quiet space, so it suits anyone looking for a place to live. Less than 10 minutes walk from Hughesdale Train Station, Pakenham and Cranbourne metro lines. Hughesdale has a great Cafe (Brew Bar), Convenience store, Pizza Joint & Bakery just over the Railway Line. Super close to Chadstone Shopping Center and Dandenong Rd/Princes Highway. Buses 767 and 635 run just in front of the house.
Pretty quite kind of person, but always up for a chat. Looking for roommates who love cats, I've got a 8 year old tabby who loves cuddles but doesn't get along with other animals. Need a place that has an enclosed front or backyard for my cat the play in.
Hi, my name is Dani and I'm an easy-going 30 year old female who has worked in the Marketing industry for a number of years. My interests include travel, music, socialising, sport, adventure, and the outdoors. I particularly love animals and the beach, and have trained in Natural Horsemanship and worked on a rescue farm. As a housemate I am clean and tidy and extremely respectful of others. I believe in always paying my rent and bills on time, and I do not currently have any pets. I'd be happy to answer any questions that you might have. Thanks for your time and I hope that you have a lovely day! Kind regards, Dani
Hello, I am a 24 year old full time student studying Fine arts! I work casually in an art store in Prahran and generally spend a lot of my time doing art. I'm super easy going and love a good chat, I love to cook, enjoy art, gaming, music, movies and binging TV series. I am very respectful and clean :) I'm trying to live a minimalistic and environmental lifestyle, so I don't own too many things and I'm working on becoming zero waste. I also own a bread maker and make heaps of bread... So thats something thats.. uh.. really great about me :) I'm not fussy with rooms, I like natural light and somewhere that is big enough to hold a double mattress and a desk. I also own my own car and frequent my home town in Canberra. I also have a few plant babies and a Guppy called Freddy Mercury. I'd love to find a place that is comfortable and friendly, I'm not big on parties (but don't mind the odd one) but I do love dinner parties!

Hi there. I am an elderly, drama-free lady, looking for a long term accommodation. I would prefer a stand alone flat or a studio. Central/ducted heating is preferred but not essential. I am originally from Russia but Melbourne is now home. My son lives in Melbourne and will be helping me with inspections. I am still learning English so my son will be helping me organise everything. I am fully independent, self sufficient and active. Love stitching and travelling around Victoria. Being clean and tidy goes without saying. I have a bed, bedside tables and a drawer that I would like to bring with me. Paying rent will never be an issue as two of my sons are supporting me.
Hi I'm moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane begining of August. Looking to make that lovely city my new home. Me: I've been sharing for most of my life, am an actor/ex biologist, like to cook, rockclimb, try to not kill the plants, dance, spend time outdoors, watch movies and theatre, sew, yoga......stuff. Will have a job, so don't worry. I come with mostly just bedroom furniture. I have a 10year old house trained tibetan spaniel x border collie, Toby, who wont eat your shoes or lunch, and is fully house trained. It would be great to find some chilled, friendly, people who like to share a meal and a drink occasionally, and are maybe artistic (obviously clean, tidy, respectful etc, but that goes without saying so...And same for me too). I am really looking for a place to call home not just a room in a house. Love to hear from you. Cheers Donna
We are a very understanding and easy going couple. Love exploring/discovering new places but also enjoy a quiet day at home watching movies. Both of us are studying and work part time but might start working full time from October. Specifically looking for a place with an ensuite. Wish to move in towards the end of October but can pay the bond right away to book the place.
Hi, my name is Amelia and I'm 18 years old. I'm currently studying Computer Science at Monash University, in my second year. I'm originally from rural Victoria but have been living in Melbourne for uni for a while now, and am looking for shared accommodation in the south eastern suburbs. I'm tidy and responsible, I only drink occasionally, but I enjoy being social and meeting new people. I am LGBT friendly, and would welcome housemates of any gender. However, I am a non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers :) If you're in the south east and you think I sound like I would be a good housemate for you, then contact me!
LOOKING for either short-term stay (3-4 months) or indefinite stay for the right place (haven't decided yet ahah) as I'm going away for two months at the start of next year :) Hey all, looking for a new house and new people! I'm a 20 year old student currently studying engineering and science at monash while also working part time. Personally, I'm a mad swans supporter, I'm heavily invested in a few sports and can (and will) talk endlessly about footy! I'm also pretty passionate about a lot of shows, movies, music, and most importantly, alcohol. Despite being an only child, I love a busy and social house, getting home and being able to have a chat and a drink with great people is my favourite thing about share houses! I thinks that's everything? Shoot me a message if there's ever anything you want to know! I look forward to meeting you :)
