Hi, I’m 56, single, easy going. I’m a graphic designer and studio manger in Murbah. I love tennis and teach Swing dancing. I also have two gorgeous middle aged border collies who have had advanced training. They’re very social and chilled out siblings and cohabit well with all creatures. They also have their own references. Feel free to ask any questions. Thx!
We are an early 30.s couple. Been together over 14 years. Have been the main tenants of a house for nearly four years. With the owners permission we have had people in to share. So we are not new to sharing with others. The owner is now selling so we are exploring our options. Realestate have said they are happy for us to stay, but are also happy to give us a great reference. We are wanting to get another house but suitable ones are a little out of price range. So to even apply we will need someone to team up with. The only thing that seems to be limiting our options is we have a small dog. And for the past nearly four years the owner has allowed us to have him inside. Due to the limited amount of rentals that are pet friendly, we are also looking at the ads on here for flatmates wanted. So that is our situation, now for a little about us.... Dave works casual. Is a smoker but always outside. Sometimes has one or two drinks after work just to wind down. But certainly is not a huge drinker. He did have his own lawn mowing business and still has some equipment. So he is happy to maintain lawns and gardens Belinda is not working yet but actively looking. Has never smoked and dose not drink. She has had cleaning jobs and since Dave takes care of the outside she takes care of the inside. We are both very easy going and friendly. We must be getting old as we are over the party scene so we are not wanting a party house. Like most people we are happy to be social but also need the mix of our privacy too. Our dog is an English Staffy who at four years old is still small and always gets mistaken for a puppy. Everyone says this about their dogs but he is extremely well behaved. We can get a "pet reference" from the realestate to give anyone peace of mind that he has never caused an issue inside or out.
I'm a quiet, friendly, clean, supportive single guy. I have been taking a break from work for health reasons, though I am looking for part time work now. I love taking photos, am in a photo club, enjoy the outdoors and nature. I'm involved in various community groups in Murwillumbah. I enjoy doing yoga and meditation. I'm originally from Sydney. I've lived in the Byron/Tweed Heads area since 2002, and really love it up here, and I'm looking for a place I can be a part of, share some meals with, and have space for myself as well.
You will have the choice of a furnished or unfurnished room, and there is capacity to bring some common area furniture you have some. This is a brand new house in a new 'Telstra smart community' estate. There is a dishwasher and washing machine that uses tank water (as do the toilets). Its usually quiet with minimal traffic. It is about 5 mins drive from Murwillumbah, 30 mins to Tweed / Coolangatta, 45 mins to Byron (more if traffic). The yard is still a work in progress and I don't have full fences as yet, so pets are not really an option at this time, sorry. (Plus I have pets that visit occasionally) There is a small BBQ area. I would prefer a working professional, however students / part time workers will be considered.
Double room available in large open non-smoking house on the edge of Stokers Siding. Beautiful and peaceful 53 acre rural property, only 10 minutes to Murwillumbah and 10 minutes to the highway. Price includes all bills and the rooms are available for short-medium term. There is a large deck to sit out on and a spacious lounge area to relax in. If you fancy getting active there are tracks throughout the property and into the bush to walk, horse ride or mountain bike. There are a few horses and some feathered friends also on the property. Please contact us to find out more.
I am extremely easy to get along with and very respectful of their peoples space. Im a humble quiet person but love to have a good chat and be friends with who i live with. I am a creative person who loves to draw and paint and am looking to start some work in Byron Bay in August. I am vegan, love meditation, boxing and running. love the mountains. i would love to live somewhere that has a banana or mango tree haha... would be amazing and even some space for a veggie garden :) I am driving up in my van from Melbourne so dont have any furniture just my clothes, art, sketchbooks, clothes etc. Would really love to live with someone who is shares similar interests :) also would love to live somewhere a bit off grid. big property and land, and maybe 35mins drive from byron.
Clean, tidy, professional, good sense of humour. Respectful of others space and expect the same in return. Laid back and easy to get along with, quite happy in my own space as well as sharing with others. None smoker/drugs but do enjoy a gin and tonic at the end of the week, live a fairly clean, healthy lifestyle. Looking for somewhere spacious with garage and storage if possible - happy to park the car on the road but I have a motorbike (not a bikie sort though so don't panic!) and camping/sports/travel gear which needs keeping clean and dry.
I'm looking for a team-up to form a new long-term share house and a place to call home for a while! I'm really easy-going, and laid-back. I've lived in plenty of share houses and understand that every one has their own little quirks. That's what makes us all a little bit wonderful...!!! I love a good conversation and shared meal, and also enjoy my own space and giving others theirs. About me - Down to earth but also in my own world at times enjoying the small moments of life.... Mostly vego - some fish and some cheese. Like to try and eat healthy and clean (but damn that sweet tooth for dark chocolate....!!) LOVE tea. Exercise - lots of body weight and animal movements, love a good bush walk, and just starting BJJ! Dabble in being creative. Love the green, so living somewhere where you can look out and see some trees is a must. No set move date - just want to find the right people!
1 comfortable furnished room available in large 4 bedroom home. You will have use of the large bathroom to share or your own bathroom downstairs if you prefer. Perfect for student or professional. Huge open plan home, you must like animals as we have 2 dogs, 1 birds, 3 cats, 3 peacocks , 2 chickens and 2 jersey cows. This is not a party house and no drugs, very relaxed place, still like to enjoy meals, bbqs and evening beverages together occasionally though . great place to live if you like a spacious house and good people who respect each others privacy. Hi there my names Celeste and My partners Name is Jake. I am 20 and he is 18. We have just moved down home from Brisbane and have been staying with my parents which isn't working out great. We are currently looking for a room furnished or unfurnished. We are a couple that enjoy time to ourselves but also like social time. I'm an organised clean freak most days but love to kick back and relax other days, My partner is rather shy but easy to get along with. As we have currently just moved back home we are unemployed but with the commonwealth games I doubt we'll be unemployed for too much longer hopefully. Our affordable budget is 150 per week but when the extra bills come in we can pay extra as we'll put money away for them. We both do not have our licence's so due to that public transport close by would be great. We would love an easy going housemate.

Hi! 22 y/o looking for a new place to call home. I work full time as a Geotech tradie (with seasonal fly in fly out) and never miss rent. As a tenant: Fairly clean and tidy, I do my laundry and cleaning on the weekends. Ex chef so I clean as I go in the kitchen. Personally: Quiet but happy to interact and share a drink or meal. Hobbies include art and painting, gym, yoga, film, hiking, gaming. Generally respectful and laid back. LGBT friendly, pet friendly, pretty easy going. Prefer to live with straight forward, drama free and down to earth people. Am an outdoor smoker, although happy to take a walk for it.
Hi guys, I’m looking for a place thats clean and tidy, with friendly people. I don’t party and am not a smoker. I’m a very laid back person who’s just looking for a relaxing place to live with great Flatmate’s.
Hi. I'm working natural therapies casually [Doctorate level], and occasionally as a Trainer/Assessor. I love fishing (lures, hate bait smell on my hands), surfing, sunrise/set, clean air (don't care if you smoke when I'm upwind), long distance views from hills near the ocean, considerate people that know how to fit in/get along; good ventilation at home; getting away to the bush for fossicking [few nights/fn & will start doing trips away for 2 weeks at a time]. HATE: dirty air from anything including: AEROSOLS (droplets of chemicals that aren't fit for humans invading everything. TELL me if you have an aerosol free home, or not; I use essential oils in mister bottle for insects), exhaust fumes (will not live on a main road), smelly animals (would prefer pet free home or at least one with pets that are groomed/clean), bad smells from anything, loud/boisterous in your face personalities that are talk-a-holics, ICE and all hard recreational drugs & the way they destroy minds/bodies/lives, alcoholism; front loader washing machines [inefficient wash/rinse etc]. Currently living with 3 other males that are aerosol air pigs; have to put on fume mask at times because they spray themselves & the whole house becomes contaminated & difficult to breathe for up to 1/2 hour. Deadset people! Google "The Dangers of Aerosols" & see what you get. Not gonna live in an aerosol using home again. Yup, everybody has their sensitivities & mine is my nose & what passes through it :) Typically I'm a quiet, reserved, gentle person that always has something to do; a visual/kinesthetic/auditory type. One who has to keep their sarcasm to themselves rather than be branded rude ... certified Trainer/Assessor, so I can. I come from a family with military back ground [air force] so know how to fit in & get things done. Note: If you are asking for a bond, the Residential Tenancies Authority is the best place for it because: 1] Anything can happen to you, and if it does it'll be difficult to recover the bond. 2] Not everybody is honest. Sometimes scammers keep new comers off the lease, hold the new comer's bond ... good luck getting it back. I would prefer to be dealing directly with the Rental Agent or property owner & become part of the lease. All the share houses I've lived in have had lockable bedrooms. I'll install a key lock on my bedroom door if it doesn't already have one. Cheers, John
Quiet down to earth full time working single local with no children. Positive very clean and tidy respectful fun personality looking for like minded chilled people. Easy going and drama free working as a head chef of popular day cafe. Love to hear from you! Matt
