Hi all 👋
I'm looking for a room/accommodation space in the inner west suburbs of Melbourne in the Maribyrnong and Hobsons Bay council areas ONLY.
Note: I am NOT interested in the Wyndham and Tarneit areas, please do not message me about these locations.

About me:
● I've been a proud local in Yarraville for many years and require new accommodation.
● I have connections and a love for my local inner west community, and its fantastic people who make up our generous and lovely community - which is why I'm seeking these local areas.
● I'm a mid 30s male
● Previously have been working in the community services, public service and early learning sector in corporate type roles. Am now also doing postgraduate university studies remotely.
● My background is half Spanish/half English - born in Melbourne.
● Easy going, a bit more introverted but enjoys meeting people and enjoys the outdoors and multicultural festivals of Melbourne.
● I'm not a "party person" (It's not my scene), I'm a more low key and enjoys more relaxed and homely households.
● I'm a considerate person, always respectful of others personal space and belongings.
● Also am a reasonable cook and have a collection of usual foods I can cook and enjoy.
● As an added bonus, I consider myself a thrifty type of person - careful with expenses (ie water usage etc) and also a thrifty bargain hunter with shopping for groceries and household essentials.
● I'm also respectful of and am pro active in maintaining cleanliness, household duties and commitments of the stay.
● I'm also a great gardener (so if there’s a veg garden would be a bonus).

Looking for (Types of accom):
● A private room in a share house (max 3 or so people) etc
● or you may be in a home (as a renter or a homeowner) and have an available or unused self contained granny flat/unit accommodation.
● or a one bedroom unit (or similar)
● Also open to home sitting and pet sitting opportunities

● Budget up to $200 / 250ish per week - ideally including utility bills (ie water, electricity, internet etc)
● Looking to move in asap.
● Am already across groups on Facebook and listing sites - Posted on both Flatmate finders and Flatmates.

● Important - Also due to my circumstances am *not* currently seeking to be on the lease.

● Hobsons bay council - Brooklyn, Altona North, Newport, Spotswood, South Kingsville, Williamstown, Williamstown North, Altona, Seaholme.
