House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
Hello potential housemate(s), Brief overview: I am looking to move March 10-17th I need an unfurnished room and somewhere to park my car My name is Brooke and I work Mon- Fri in the CBD as an ESL teacher. I am also studying online to become a primary teacher. Currently, I live in Ivanhoe but in March I will move to the west side of Melbourne as I will be doing a one-month teacher placement in Seabrook from April- May. I am looking to stay in the west until late July. I am always up for a chat or drink with my housemates but am happy to also have my 'me' time. Coming home to a friendly chat is a great thing but I respect that people also like to chill out in their own space. I am an animal lover and also love to help in the garden. With my studies and students at work, I tend to be at my desk in my room working away so you needn't worry about me hogging the lounge or partying late into the night! I have lived in sharehousing long enough to know that I am a neat person who prefers a place that is cleaned regularly and common areas kept tidy. However, that is not to say I am obsessed with cleanliness but like a house to be a home. I have all my own bedroom furniture and own a car so will need somewhere (on or off-street) to park it. Feel free to contact me if you think I may suit your place or if you have any questions. Thanks!
Hi I am Danielle, I am 31 from the UK. I am a registered nurse awaiting my registration to be passed to practice here in Australia. Until then, I am currently in a full time job. I am Very clean and tidy. I am Respectful of others. I like to keep healthy and fit but still enjoy a wine and a pizza.
I am 35 year old newly arrived back to Australia after many years in Greece. I am easygoing, clean and tidy. I am studying part time and I’m looking for a friendly home to share, preferably with females. I don't drink or smoke but happy to share a coffee, a laugh and good conversation.
I'm Annika, a 23 years old full time student at Melbourne University. I spent the past 6 months on exchange in Denmark (Copenhagen University) and now that my time here has come to an end, I'm looking for a place to move in 😊 A bit about myself: I grew up in Germany and am bilingual and generally interested in picking up new languages..currently Danish 😁 I love being creative and am an outdoorsy kind of person 😊 I enjoy socialising but also appreciate some alone time..especially in busy times (exams etc 😕 ). I'm responsible, clean and tidy and have lived in a shared house in Newport for 1 1/2 years and before that in a shared house in Ballarat for a year. I am not a party person, but enjoy a jolly chin wag (always) and a drink every once in a while 😀 I don't smoke! I'm very reliable and it goes without saying that I always pay rent&bills on time. What I do on weekends: Going for a road trip (if I find friends with a car haha), anything outdoorsy, catching up with friends, studying and working 😀
Hi, I'm Leanne. I'm 34, from England. I work full time as a Dental Technician Monday - Friday. I'm very chilled and easy going, clean, tidy and respectful. I don't get up to too much during the week because I work long days. I like a few drinks & to socialise but also like time to myself. I've got a lovely little cat called Frankie. She is well behaved and house trained. Looking to move around the 10th March but I can be flexible with dates.
Moving back to Melbourne after 2 years in Sydney to take up a new full time role in the medical education field. I am a social person and love to head out for a beer at the local pub, or for lunch/dinner anywhere new. Love meeting new people, can be quiet at first but warm up to people pretty fast. Looking for housemates that like to chat while cooking meals, perhaps hit up a pub trivia session once in a while or have an afternoon of beer drinking on the weekend. I'm not new to Melbourne have lived there many times and in a variety of suburbs. Have lived in many share houses throughout my life in my home town; Warrnambool, Melbourne, London and Sydney. I know how to treat a house and my flatmates with respect and hope to find others who are the same. I have a 2 gorgeous 12 month old black cats named shadow and lunar they are both pretty smoochy and are toilet trained. Whom I would like to bring with me. I'd be happy to meet a few peeps and create a new share house together. I have a whole house of furniture and would be happy share whatever is needed in a share house situation otherwise I can store the items elsewhere.
Hey! I’m 22 and have only moved over from Perth recently so I’m looking for somewhere to call home :) I’d like to think of myself as clean, respectful, and friendly. I hold a degree in communications so I’m on the hunt for some full time work within my field - but will result to hospo/retail work to tide me over until I find something (and have some savings to help out also). I’m open to all genders, sexualities, and walks of life, so I need housemates accepting of that. I enjoy a drink or two like anyone, but am not focused on partying every weekend as I moved to start and focus on my professional life. I do smoke lightly, but hate the smell (hypocritical I know) so obviously I will only do it outside and am hoping to stop in the future. I don’t have, or plan to have, any pets but I miss my cats at home so have no problem with them being around at all! If you think I sound like someone you can live with then I would love to hear from you! Harry
Hey my names Hayden I'm easy going and like to get and about to do thing and get fit, I’m working at Peter Sadlers Transport. I’m honest, fair and will put in my bit around the house, cheers :)
Hey, my name is Ajay (FYI; 29, single, born & raised in Melbourne & Indian background ) and I am working full time hours in hospitality and studying full time in hospitality as well. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. With classes and work, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
I’m an easy going, down to earth osteopath and part time student. I love to counterbalance work by seeing my friends and getting outside - anywhere! I’m seeking a sociable share house where we can all hang out together and feel comfortable in our home. Whether this be exploring new cafes, sharing a bottle of vino or indulge in a Netflix binge session I’m down. I am also independent and value having time by myself to read, paint and contemplate life in the shower. I am an adaptable open person who is happy to work together on how we can make our place into a fun restorative little oasis.
Hi, my name is Amal. I am currrently studying English. I love going to the gym and riding my bike. I am looking to house share with another female or a granny flat/bungalow. I am very clean and organised and considerate of others. I look after my space with much pride. I am often on the go and like to keep to myself. I am looking for someone who also enjoys living a quiet lifestyle.
I’m a relaxed person who keep a busy schedule studying civil engineering online full-time whilst also working as an engineer on the NBN network. I love travelling and am currently in South America until late Feb. I enjoy hanging out with people and going out when I can but also like having my own space after a long day. If there is anything you want to know feel free to ask.
Hi guys, I’m Jono and I’m currently away in Malaysia with work. Back home in early March. I come with a really cool dude named Bam Bam. He is a great dog who is very friendly and doesn’t destroy things in the backyard. I’m pretty busy with work but do like to go out on the weekends to the footy or gigs that are on. My weekly budget is roughly $175 a week, but with the right fit I can adjust that. I’ll come back to fill this in a bit more later,
Hey Guys! So about me; Pretty easy going, can hold a detailed conversation, even if your response is simply 'yes' or 'okay'. I smile quite frequently. Ive lost 55 kilos in weight over 5 years, so fitness is important to me. Im a decent cook now, but basic at the same time. Im still living with the folks currently, last child at home, but not the youngest(obviously was the smartest though, ahaha). Im quite clean too, been doing my own washing since '07. I'd like to say i can sing too, but you'll soon find out that its just something i enjoy doing, but dont have a talent in. I have quite a variety of people i know, so my social life can be busy at times, which means im out and about. With saying that, i do like some quiet time to kick back and watch the latest Netflix Marvel series or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia(Please tell me you watch this)! I work full time, Monday to Friday - 8:30am-4:30pm at the head office of a kitchen company, i absolutely love it I do drive, i have soccer mom car, so there will need to be an available space for parking. I must disclose, i am a bisexual man, but i dont flaunt it, just be easy going with it. Lastly, i am cat obsessed, so if i could bring my cat of 14 years(She is super youthful), that would be a bonus, but if not, my folks are happy to keep her :) I can move out whenever, just prefer by the end of year, as my situation at home is highly in tact, i just more want that growth and independence. Pop us a message, i would be mad fun to live with
I'm a full time student, studying a double degree in Sports Science at Vic Uni and work part time as a personal trainer. I do have children and they’re all in their double digits. I'm active and clean eating guy and just love living the healthy lifestyle. I like to get away hiking and camping. Not a fan of party houses and i rarely drink (I may have a cider from time to time), though can be quite the conversationalist haha. But can also be very quiet 🤫. My options are be close to uni (Footscray) or be close to friends and family (Seaford-aspendale) I would prefer closer to uni. I don't mind having a chat first over a coffee (Mmmm Coffeeee ☕️ 🤤) and see how we get along. I don't mind teaming up with someone and starting a new lease if that's what you're keen on. Dan :)
I am an easy-going third year law university student originally from Southwest Victoria looking for people to share a house with. I am always up for having a chat or a bit of banter. I am neat and tidy and enjoy social and relaxing activities like going out for a meal, to the beach or to the footy.
Hello lovely people of Australia! I hail from the Rocky Mountains in the US where I learned to love the outdoors. If I can see new places, meet new people, and learn about new cultures while maintaining a kind and open minded approach then I'll be content. After finishing my Mechanical Engineering Technology degree at Montana State University I set my sights on Australasia, the perfect place to pursue the aforementioned goals. I'm currently working in Melbourne as a data analyst. In a country this size I'm aiming for a more long term, personal feel for the places I travel to, rather than bouncing around randomly. While I am adventurous in the outdoors, no need to worry about any excessive partying, alcoholism, smoking, drugs etc. I am very respectful of other's property, and privacy; and I will seek to ensure the living situation is beneficial for all parties involved. If you'd like to add a touch of class to your living arrangement look no further. Hope to hear from you soon! Trevor
