Hi Guys, me and my boyfriend are looking for a place to call home for the next 4 months. We are currently renting a great place with friends but our lease is up soon and our friends are moving up north. So we are after something a bit cheaper and preferably a 1 bedroom flat or studio to ourselves. Our current lease is up on the 11th of march and we would like to stay till July 7th. We both work full time, i'm a graphic design and my boyfriend works in construction. We both work in the west so that would be preferred. We want a place to chill after work and put our feet up but close enough to the city so we can just go out when we feel like it.
We have been on a holiday from the UK since the end off 2016 and having traveled the east coast of Australia we're planning to settle in Melbourne until December 2017. Having stayed with Joe's auntie and uncle for the last few weeks we're now looking for a place to set up a more permanent base to live and work. We've been together for six years, having met while we were at school and both went to university in the UK - Joe studied History and Ellie studied Fashion Management and Marketing. When we finished uni we decided we wanted to come to Australia so we've spent the last two years working hard to save for this trip and so we're enjoying some well earned time off before looking for jobs! We are both friendly and fun - we enjoy socialising with others but also having time to ourselves to relax. Joe is interested in all sports, in particular in rugby, and has discovered a liking for AFL! Ellie enjoys cooking, shopping and chilling out with a glass of wine.
Hi, I recently moved to melbs and am staying at my friend's place and soon to be overstaying my welcome. I am working full time as a speech pathologist but have reasonable variable hours. I need a place with parking as I drive a lot for my job and my only other requirement is decent shower pressure. I'm easy to get along with. I don't really have hobbies unless wine and cheese count, I go through phases of thinking I can be the kind of person the works out regularly (I'm not really that person). Let me know if it sounds like me and your house would go together!!
