We are a very friendly couple who love to meet new people and socialize, but also enjoy down time spent alone. With one of us being a passionate cook and the other being a clean freak we would be ideal house mates! We are from Geelong in Victoria and are looking for a whole new life in Northern NSW! We love the beach, being outdoors and exploring new places! We love to travel and try to do 1 overseas trip a year minimum
I am a paediatric occupational therapist, recently moved to the area and working for a mobile therapy service. I am passionate about surfing and nature and use this within my practice and work as it encompasses a lot of my everyday life! I am very easy going, take pride and care of where I live, and enjoy cooking for others (more than I would for myself), being in the ocean, and working creatively on projects. Cooper is completing his PhD in Sustainable beekeeping practices for rural communities in PNG. Coops is a mad keen surfer, enjoys building things (like his bee hives) and is super easy to get along with- respectful, kind and fun loving guy. We are looking for a place to be able to peacefully complete work from home at times, and to enjoy the outdoor space to be able to create in. We would take great care and pride in any space offered to us, and easy to get along with :) Look forward to meeting you Aims, and Coops
Student. Casual worker. More than the sum of the parts. I have widely varied musical tastes (whilst respecting volume levels) and enjoy getting amongst it, wether that be hiking to the top of the mountain or snorkeling to find nemo. I cook a mean roast or BBQ, I cook a sub par risitto but an working on that. I cannot walk tight rope, nor juggle. I do have a mean as frisbee and hackysack game though. I am a conscientious and empathethic flatmate. I have no pets but I love animals. I rarely party but when I do you better hope you have a camera handy.
I’m a self sufficient adult who is easy going. I enjoy my own company just as much as the company of others. I’m moving to the area for work and will be away most weekends.
My high school testimonial described me as a gregarious boy with 'reasonably' good eye/hand co-ordination. I was so chuffed that my teacher had noticed my artful french cuts on the cricket pitch that I never enquired into the meaning of gregarious. It recently came up as 'word of the day' on dictonary.com and I was delighted to find out that it meant: "fond of the company of others; sociable". I have long since hung up my cricket whites but remain gregarious. That said, I'm hardly a socialite! To earn a crust, I work as cameraman/editor, everything from news to music videos (but in my fantasy world I'm an international secret agent or an inventor of exceptionally useful things). For work, I'm often away filming - usually 2-3 weeks at a time, but when I'm back in town I usually edit from home. I'm more interested in people's attitudes and sentiments than their occupations, ethnicities, sexual preferences etc. Attitudes and sentiments that resonate well with me are kindness, humour, and honesty. In terms of communal living... I certainly don't like living in a pig sty. But equally I'm not going to go mental if someone leaves a dirty teaspoon in the sink. Politics: I tend to get along with lefties, but love a good spar with a right winger.
I'm just backpacking for a while, and would like to find somewhere quiet, peaceful and non-judgemental where I can just chill, walk on the beach, and occupy myself with my own activities. I'm a solitary person who prefers my own space. I'll never invade your privacy or personal space as I really detest anyone who invades mine, on any level. I have a background in the arts, like music, have a wide range of interests, and don't mind sane and intelligent conversation, or sharing dinner and a chat. Beyond that, I prefer my own company. Thanks.
Hello! We are a very quiet, peaceful and respectful young couple that are looking for a tranquil abode to call home. We would love a relatively new, clean, light, airy, sunlit space with greenery surrounding. Ideally a granny flat or studio would be perfect! We do not smoke, drink or party and currently have no pets but would love the opportunity to perhaps get one in the near future. We return from overseas August 1st and would love to move into the space as soon as possible. We have all our own furniture. We look forward to meeting you! Trent & Fleur :-)
Hi, I'm Anna! I'm Irish. A health food nut. Love to cook (and eat!) fresh, tasty, nourishing food. A yogi. A surf novice. An explorer. Most of all, I'm a curious enthusiast - I love to learn from (and contribute to) a community of like-minded people who share the same values, ethos and passion for life as me. I'm a freelance web & graphic designer and marketing consultant. I also work in the health foods industry - all areas, as I love it!
Easy going, open minded, non judgmental, spiritual lifestyle, loves nature and animals and plants. Non smoker, yoga , spiritual healer. 43 years young, work part time with an online business and studying part time also.
We have a room available in our fabulous share house. Close to Bangalow town centre ..5 min walk to shops, cafes, pub etc. There are 3 of us living here, we are looking for a 4th housemate who enjoys living in a tidy & clean household...we share the housework & staying of top of pool leaf removal. We have one spare bedroom as well which is great if any of us have visitors. We are all working full time & most important that you are too. The house / property is spacious & we sometimes go a day or two without seeing each other having different entrances into the house. Always great thou when we share a bbq or meal together. Fabulous sunsets from the front balcony particularly in spring / summer ....& the pool is just the best on hot summer nights or mornings. Prefer someone who does not smoke & is looking for long term accomm. PM me if this feels like a fit for you :)
The house is located in a peaceful rural area, backing onto a 100 acre farm. The large furnished bedroom room, with rural views, has clothes drawers and hanging space. PLUS large reading / writing / yoga room. Quality linen and bedding can be supplied if needed. You will have your own bathroom (when I am away) as my flatmate has his own bathroom. It is available short-term for the whole of July or approx 4-6 weeks from 25 June. I can be flexible on dates. $230 per week includes bills (not phone) and lots of moderately fast internet (nbn). There are two large comfy living areas, so you will have plenty of space. The large kitchen has the things you need for cooking and a dining table. The house doesn’t get much sun in Winter, and is made from fibro with minimal insulation, so it can get quite cold. There’s a wood-fired combustion stove to warm the house, and plenty of wood. Warm woolens won’t go astray! There is a paddock and lots of garden areas to spend time in, and soak up the sun. It is generally a quiet, peaceful area, however the neighbours are building a house, so there can be building noise during the week from 7.30am. Being rural, the house has rainwater. The mobile phone reception is a bit limited but most networks get reception in certain spots. I will be away for most of July, and while I am away you will only be sharing with my flatmate.
Hi - looking for a peaceful and accepting warm environment to set up our nest. Healthy and clean lifestyle, love exploring outdoors, geocaching. Tidy. Like a chat but also enjoy privacy. My son is pretty cool, he is 4 - he likes to chat and is full of curiosity. Would really like to join up with someone who has child/children around the same age. I am starting my own business so would prefer a house. We value respect, privacy, compassion and connectedness. Hoping to find someone or family that values similar ideals.
Ahoy! I’m a 25 year old who is looking for a peaceful place to live. I currently live in Melbourne and will be moving on up this August. I have lived in shared accommodation for the last 7 years. I’m clean, love to eat and cook, love animals and music. Looking for some healthy, creative individuals to share a house with. All I require is a shower, a place to cook, and a bedroom. Always down for a chat so let me know if you’ve got any questions and if you think I fit your future housemate criteria!
Gorgeous leafy townhouse in Suffolk Park. Room has BIR, ceiling fans and looks out onto reserve. Walking distance from the beach! Netflix on the TV, internet, swimming pool in the complex. Our house is situated 5 minutes out of Byron Bay, close to the beach, shops and recreation grounds. The house is modern, spacious, clean and tidy. There is an outdoor verandah area with a BBQ and small fenced in yard with vege and herb gardens. There is a piano, fireplace and gas cooktop. The kitchen is well set up with just about every type of appliance you could think of or need and there is both and indoor and outdoor dining areas. We have two cats and one beach loving Border Collie. It's a musical, creative, happy place, with with a good mix of socialising and time where no one or next to no one is home too. If you like healthy living, are friendly, responsible and have a good sense of humour, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome people from all cultures and countries and if you need to improve your English we are happy to help. We have two rooms available but the price for each room is for one person only. We are happy to consider a couple but the rent would be an additional $70/week.

I surf and love the ocean, this is the main reason I came to the Northern Rivers. I’m neat, tidy, social, healthy, and would make a fun housemate. I recently finished a marketing contract with a company in Byron Bay. Since then I have been writing full-time, working on my third book. I'm used to share houses. On weekends I surf, teach surfing and do some creative writing. Currently living in Suffolk Park, and loving it.
Recently moved from the Melbourne to Byron and in the process of looking for full time work with a part time job currently in Byron. I am looking for a sharehouse. I am a clean, well mannered but fun loving individual. I love being social but also appreciate down time. A few of my interests include exploring the outdoors, music, painting and drawing, I love expanding my creativity. I’m a vegetarian.
Hi I’m Mel, 33, looking for a studio or potentially a share house that’s pet friendly. I’m a nurse, like to keep busy. Not a couch potato. Like to surf (beginner), walk my dog every day, do pottery classes in Byron. Clean, tidy, don’t mind socialising with the odd wine but definitely not a party animal, homes usually a place to chill out for me. Looking for a place that’s secure with a reasonable yard for my friendly three year old border collie. She’s well behaved and gets along with everyone.
