I own a Suburban Bar in Nundah, I work pretty much 7 days a week and don't intend on spend large amounts of time at home, I do share custody of a Great Dane, BUT I have alternative accommodation for him when he visits. I have recently just returned from Northern NSW setting up another bar, but invented on being based permanently in Bris running the bar. I am very clean and tidy and have lived in share houses on and off for almost 12yrs.
Hey I’m Ebony. I’m currently looking to move out with another girl or guy and girl around my age. I’m hoping to meet people like myself who are outgoing enjoy to socialise but also like there downtime who I can make friends with and go out with etc. I’ve been looking at a few modern apartments and wouldn’t mind starting a new 6 month lease with someone. The apartments are all brand new and have rooftop pools etc. I’m also interested in moving out into a place that’s already furnished as long as it’s modern and there are people my age to make friends with etc. I work at the international airport and this will be my first time moving out. I’m super clean and am really keen to make new friends as mine are all currently settled down. If your interested send me a message :) if your unable to message me on here my name is Ebony Wilford.
Just setting this up atm.. made a start ... will flesh out details later... Lived in a number of share places over the years.. enjoyed most of them..but. you're either entering someone/s 'domain'..or Vice Versa... as I have no time pressure have decided to try new tactic .. 1st Find right share partner..& THEN.. find a place you both like... Moved to Bris in March, been living in an adequate but tiny Studio, looking around I've noticed plenty of 2-3 BR places for $380 -$520pw. Based on 2-way split (+ say $50 each for bills, wi-fi etc) worst result is same cost, more space. I'm an Aussie, well travelled, have lived in 5 states in Aus. & 10yr in UK.. you will find me easygoing, open minded, non-judgemental, friendly , sociable, very considerate of others needs, a hard worker & equally hard relaxer, intelligent though silly at times, a naturist (where/ when appropriate), funny (bad puns a specialty), calm, hater of unnecessary conflict or violence, very easy to live with . I : Pay rent & bills on time, Keep (communal areas) Clean & Tidy (Bedroom may resemble bombsite at times), ... TBC
I'm a 30 years old Chinese IT professional. I recently graduated from QUT and currently I work in a Brisbane-based IT company. I'm friendly and not a party animal. I love to meet new people and make friends.
•31. •Copywriter & social media manager. • Sarcastic, but not an arsehole. • Gay. And like most gays, I love glitter. • Vegetarian (not preachy, live your life yo). • Fully house trained. This comes in handy. • Have my own friends; I won’t steal yours. • I like wine. Gin. Beer. You get the gist. • Happy for some Q & A.
Clean. Friendly. I cook delicious food. Work full time so I'm only home mornings, evenings and weekends. Vegetarian. Enjoy TV shows, movies and books. Have a fairly new car so would prefer off street parking Love pets but don't have to have one of my own.
Hey! I'm Bre and I'm a full time secretary in the CBD at a corporate company. I'm out all day Monday-Friday and usually out on the weekends. I enjoy my alone time however enjoy chats with my roomies on how our days were and am happy to make meals for the people I live with. I'm incredibly neat and tidy and appreciate a clean house. I have no problems in doing house work as I hate a messy house. I am an adorable little cat names Ari who is the easiest going cat. He's literally hilarious and acts like a dog half the time. He's toilet trained and is an indoor and outdoor cat. He's very cuddly and will keep you company whether I'm home or not. Anyway I'm really trying to move out of the current share house I'm in at the moment as my room mates always have people over, blast the TV all night and make a huge mess everyday. On a happy note I'm nothing like that as I'm hoping you've picked up so hope to hear back :):)
Hello. My name is Giulianna, 25 years old. I am studying cookery in the city for now, but i am about to finish it. I am currently living in milton but is too noise for me here right now so i decided to move. I am looking for a nice private room in a chill house with nice flatmates. I do not smoke, i am vegan and i like music and nature.
I've rented in Brisbane before, but I'm currently living on the Sunshine Coast. I'm hoping to move to Bris in January next year whilst studying a 6 month course at tafe. I've had a lot of experience living in share house situations so I'm pretty aware of personal space and cleanliness. I'm respectful e.g. not the kind of gal to bring the party back to the house at ungodly hours (we've all had that flatmate tho), and I love making new friends! I'm pretty laid-back and I'm a little more of a tea & netflix than a ric's @ happy hour gal.
Hello, My name is Jonathan Blake I'am 23rs old and currently looking for a place to move to or like minded people to get a place with. I work full time in Eagle street at CBRE ( Commercial Realestate) i also use to be an Electrician so i can be handy at times. I am very clean and organised and I work out in the mornings, so i will only be around at nights or the weekends. I'm pretty chilled and easy going, I'am originally from the gold coast so i dont know to many people in Brissy but keen to meet new people. Looking for somewhere to move into or keen to do a team up on a new place. Cheers
I am a working professional who is soon to be relocated to Brisbane. I enjoy socializing, cooking and going out for a drink on weekends. During the week I am usually quite quiet as I work full time and try to get in some exercise as well. Looking for a shared flat of relaxed people.
I'm 25 and work as a graphic designer/ photographer. I work part time in the valley and also freelance from home. I'm social, clean, respectful and easy going. Looking for friendly house mates who like the occasional social drink or chat.
Hey I’m looking at teaming up to move to gasworks area with someone who enjoys a laugh & a cheeky wine occasionally. I work Monday to Friday in the valley and I have my very loyal dog being trained to live as an apartment dog. Late party nights are passed me these days but enjoy cooking and catching up on a movie during the week. Respectful of others space and I do have a house full of furniture.
I'm easy going, Brazilian, 28yrs old. Single father and musician. Kids live with mum in the sunny coast where I go every weekend. I'm checking some places now but not in a rush to move. But if the right place rises I wouldn't say no. Cheers
Hey! I'm looking for a room to rent or someone who wants to find a new house near Red Hill/Paddington area. I go home to California over summer but need a new place by end January/beg February. I am a postgrad development practice student at UQ, working part time as well. I love to travel and explore new areas when I have days off and stay on the coast as often as I can. I am super easy going and respectful of other people's space. Definitely want housemates I can get along with but I mostly like to relax in my room and keep to myself when I am home, so looking for a quiet house with people who lead similar lifestyles. No couples please or party houses. Prefer to live in a house with a backyard or outdoor area.
Please read this fully before contacting me as I am looking for quite specific type of people to share with only. Please indicate you have read this all by using the code word written somewhere below. I am wanting to share with conscious, spiritual people in their late 20’s to mid 30’s who enjoy meditation, yoga, gym, pilates, hiking etc and cooking healthy food utilising organic produce as much as possible only. Ultimatley I am wanting to expand my existing circle of these types of people in my life and live this lifestyle with ease, grace and comfort. It would be great if house mates want to do these types of things together regulary and keep each other accountable and motivated. I can move into an existing place or we can team up and get a place together as long as it is fully furnished and everything meets below desires. Location wise anywhere from Lutwyche to Woolloongabba would be suitable. I am clean, organised and tidy without being obsessive. I am respectful and friendly and always pay bills on time, usually within a week of recieving them. You would need to be the same as well. I am happy to socialise regulary and looking for others who do too but also need my own down time and space so respecting each others privacy is obviously needed. Small, well kept pets that don’t drool, don’t smell bad and are house trained are ok but smokers or drug users are not. I am not vegatarian but I am looking to lessen my meat consumption and learn how to cook vegatarian style and asian food better. Also love using wild caught seafood. I would love housemates who would be keen to either cook/eat together regulary and work out a system where we could either have fun experimenting with recipes and learning from each other or enjoy nights off from cooking by sharing the responsibility. Of course we will all want to do our own things at times but this is an idea to discuss that would help keep a good flow of people sharing a kitchen more streamline and issue free. Healthy eating is a must no matter what though as I generally do not keep soft drink and junk food in the house so the temptation to consume it is not there and you would need to be the same. I work in education and mental health, study psychology and am starting my own community enterprise business in the wellbeing/happiness industry. If housemates are also entrepeneurs or work within health/wellbeing/mental health industry well wouldn’t that be just fabulous haha. I am an avid world traveller (if you love travel as well I look forward to swapping crazy stories). I am looking to move away from the party scene and get a routine back in place so would like to share with people who do not consume a lot of alcohol. The odd quiet drink is ok - I do enjoy having dinner parties (think “Come Dine With Me”) with a few glasses of wine or cider but like maximum once a month or every 2 months would be the ideal for me. If you drink every night or more than a few once a week maximum, I do not wish to share with you as this is what I am looking to get away from. If you don’t drink at all you are more than welcome to be part of the share house but please know that I am keen to throw the odd dinner party still. I would like a big, modern, spacious place in close proximatey to a gym and yoga studio as well as a local fruit and veg market, chinese and indian grocery stores would also be a great bonus, as close to the city as possible but with easy access to major highways at the same time. Private bathrooms for all of us would be ideal and if there was a spare room or nice garden space we can turn into a meditation area I would be in total bliss! I’ve just returned from a round the world trip and my focus is on getting fit and trim again, eating healthy unprocessed food and working on developing my business goals and want to share only with like minded people on the same wave length as this will serve to aid and help each other rather than be a hinderous or distraction. I don’t mind how many of us share together as long as you are of the same mind frame that I have described. Please use the code word yogi so I know you have read this. I will only reply to those who use the code word. I am pretty flexible with my moving date as I am just crashing at my fathers apartment on Bribie Island currently but ideally would like to move late December/early January as I have a loooong commute to my work in Marsden from here. If we are all sharing bond though I could probably move sooner as well. Just need to discuss, really. I was approved at the beggining of the year for the National Rental Affordability Scheme so if we can find a furnished place on the NRAS program this means we would pay around 20% less than normal prices. These are pretty hard to find though. If you have enough furniture to fill a place though let’s talk about that too. Anyway, if this all sounds good to you then contact me and let’s start a discussion!
New to Brisbane, moved up from Sydney for a job opportunity working in insurance for the next 6 + months. Probably the best house mate you'll ever have, i'm very active, love getting out and doing things (sport, adventuring and drinking), however I don't mind having the odd chill day. Im very clean, respectful and hate having a messy house/ room, i'm an easy going bloke who loves a bit of banter and can take constructive criticism on the chin. I know absolutely no one up here so finding some people who are willing to have a drink or show me around would be great! What I bring to the table; a Netflix account, playstation, good sense of humour and a great attitude. What I am looking for: My office is in Hendra so ideally not too far from there. I have my own car so a car park either on the street or on the property is essential. Again i know no one, it would be preferable to share a house with people in their 20's/ 30's who are clean and social. Good Internet is a must. A little bit more about myself: Definitely a dog over cat person. I love nature, water and snow sports, fitness and travel. If we become house mates I wont be home all the time, my job takes me all around AUS mainly up north and down to Sydney, also one of my main hobbies is surfing and ill be travelling up and down the coast when i get the chance!
Liana and I currently live together with 1 other housemate. Out lease is up in January and we both want to move closer to the city, so we are looking at finding a 3rd housemate for a townhouse or apartment. We have both always lived in share houses so we are both very respectful and tidy, but we are also social. Prefer someone around our age :)
hey pals i'm looking to move into/rent a room around January or even late December before i start my Massage & Myotherapy course in early Feb. I'm from Yeppoon in Qld i am a pretty easy going guy always up for a chat i enjoy footy, surf lifesaving and bit of live music and dj. I have lived in few share houses now so i am pretty on top of all the regular stuff cooking, cleaning, chores, making cuppas, respectful to others, pulling my weight during inspections and i used to be a tradie so i'm also fairly handy around the house too. If you want to know anything more just hit me up i will be be more than happy to answer your queries
Hi guys! I work at a digital agency in the Valley in marketing, so I am gainfully employed (yay!). Current live in New Farm, and keen to stick around nearby so I can keep walking to work. I'm pretty active and generally out a few nights per week and tend to be out hiking and camping on the weekends, but also love to cook and have a glass of wine. I'm organised and neat, but not obnoxious about it. Lived in shared accommodating before, and just looking for somewhere with a chill vibe, with housemates who are also friends.
We are a fun loving couple who have recently returned to Australia after travelling around for a while. Sarah is a professional psychologist originally from Sweden and working in north Brisbane and Javi is studying English and working part time (he is Spanish). We are both very clean considerate and quiet. Not into a party house but rather a home where we can relax and have dinners and enjoy our flatmates too. We are looking for either temporary and long term accommodation depending on what we can find.
Hi there, Hamish works full-time Monday to Friday so he can provide a lavish lifestyle for myself and my plants. I'm currently studying and working 15 hours a week at a cafe. I also volunteer at a Cat cafe as I cant have my own! We are both two beach bums who enjoy visiting the sunshine or gold coast on the weekends. We love to have a good laugh and get a little silly but not much of party people and are both extremely clean. like, extremely.
Last year I spent most of my time living in Brisbane whilst I was on my Work and Holiday visa, I totally felt in love with the city. I am coming back to Brisbane at the end of January. I'm from the UK and currently working in hospitality. I am a very bubbly and energetic person when you get to know me. I work hard during the week and also like to travel around on mini adventures when I find time, other interests include, music, arts and photography. I love cooking, finding some likeminded flatmates to spend time with can also be a plus to have some shared meals every now and then. An ideal quiet weekend would consist of a cheese and wine night with some films. On the other hand I do like to spend most of my time outdoors unless I have completely hooked myself onto a TV series. Ideal flatmates would be those who keep the place clean, enjoy social drinks, get involved in activities together but also have some privacy. :)
