Hi everyone , I'm looking for a place to call home for at least the next 6 months if not longer! I'm 21, I love make up, a quiet night in or a night out but I’m often working or studying. I am a very relaxed tidy person who is social likes to have people overbut also loves some down time relaxing or watching a movie. I do have a car so I would need some sort of parking. I'm happy to share or cook my own food would love to sit down catch up and have a meal with each other ever now and again. I also loving going out for brunch, lunch or dinner and exploring what Melbourne has to offer. I have a job at a nightclub on Saturday nights and Maccas in the cafe a few mornings a week. Please no cats (I'm allergic) but I'm fine dogs and love them! I am looking for a private room something that is close to public transport as I travel into the city for uni. I have a queen bed and a desk. Message me if you have something that will suit, would love to come and have a look at your available room and meet you! 😊
I'm 31 and currently work as a senior analyst in tech. I'd say I'm a very laid back, easy going person and I like to live with relaxed, positive people who don't take themselves too seriously. I'm not a fan of conflict/BS so I prefer to live with people who are open and happy to chat if any issues do arise. Id say I have a pretty balanced lifestyle and in my spare time I get outside whenever I can, love going to the beach, yoga-ing (yeah, that's not a real word I know), music, reading, cooking, the usual - pretty much just like keeping busy, having fun with mates and relaxing when I'm home. I like to live with people who keep the place neat and tidy but I'm definitely not OCD with it and would prefer the same in housemates. I enjoy going out on the weekend, but I'm more of a keep the party at the bar person. I tend to work pretty hard so I like to have relaxed weeknights when I'm home. I like having people over from time to time, but if you're a massive entertainer in the week, I may not be your best bet. Would like to live with friendly people who I get along with and can share a meal/couch hang with on occasion, but who are independent and also happy to do their own thing. Hope to hear from you and shout if you have any more questions :) Ash
Dear friends, My name is Emily and I am looking for a double/en-suite to rent in Melbourne - South Yarra, Armadale, Caufield, Glen Huntly, Toorak and Malvern area. I do not mind other options along the Frankson line if the offer is good. The best moving date is after my arrival - 24/09/2018. However, I am willing to accept an earlier moving in date. Here are some information about myself: + I'm 24 and I am going to be a student at Le Cordon Bleu Melbourne so I definitely love foods, especially my soft spot is coffee, wine and whisky. + I like fitness, gym, cycling, outdoor activities. In my freetime, I enjoy going to visit galleries, markets and books. + I've lived in the UK for the past 7 years to complete A-Levels in England and a Bachelor at University of Glasgow (Scotland). + During the student time, I shared a lovely white Scandinavian flat with 2 other flatmates which one of them owned the property. We loved it there so we took responsibilities to make it home and arrange the weekly cleaning to keep it at its best. + Beside, I used to work for TEDxUniversityofGlasgow (TED talks), so you are preparing to have a flatmate who appreciates great conversations and good company (even just for netflix) and at the same time respects the personal space
I just turned 18, am half German half Australian and planning to study at Monash starting February. I'll be moving from Germany, but have been to Australia quite often as I've got family in Geelong. I'm easy going, pretty clean and active. I like to do sports in my free time as well as go out for drinks. I'd be down to go to concerts and music festivals. Also planning to pick up on surfing again. Would prefer living with people around my age. Hmu!
Hi I am Danni! I have lived in Melbourne for over two years, moved over from NZ. I have lived in a share house and on my own. I work full time in brighton. I am a responsible person, who loves a tidy, considerate, relaxed, comfy home. I cook dinner most nights after work, and love to relax with some tv, podcast, music and a warm cuppa. I’m super chill, but also like having a friend or two pop over now and then. As I have lived on my own, I do have some furniture, including a fridge, washing machine, bed, microwave, furniture etc so I’m also keen to rent somewhere for a team up. Hit me up :) let’s have a chat
Flexible and easy to live with. Been traveling and lived with people the last three years so I know how it goes. On my free time I like movies, hanging out with friends, and being active.
Hi, I'm looking for a room in a shared house. I'm 25, friendly, sociable and easy to live with. Clean and respectful of others. Working full time in marketing in the CBD.
I'm Roberta from Vilnius, Lithuania. In February I'm coming to Melbourne to do my traineeship, so I need a cozy space to live for three months. I am friendly, easy-going, neat person. I don't like to party in my living space, but would like to meet interesting people to talk with. I like travelling, reading, cooking. I do not smoke, do not own any pets but could live with them :) I'd need a private, furnished room to live.
Hey. We are Isabelle and Salvy in mid 20s. Isabelle is beauty therapist who works in chemist and Salvy is a booking manager. We both are open minded, easy going, responsible and clean. Like to have a drink, good conversation & play boardgames, but are also respectful to privacy (sometimes we will just want to stay home and watch Netflix 😋). On weekends we like to go out to the city, beach or somewhere far and catch up with friends. We would like to start a new home, next to the train station, preferably with ensuite, with no more than 2 people. Feel free to message us if you want to know more. 🙂
Im 19 and working full time as a support education worker, Im looking for a nice room with easy going people to share the house with. I would love to hear from you, give me a message :)
We are 2 really chilled people! I like to clean and organise (not too much, don’t worry) we are both clean and healthy people, and we are also quite desperate for a room as the house we are renting in now is being demolished soon. I work so will have no problems with paying my rent. We both have our own cars, love animals and people and are very friendly. We come with a 4 month old puppy.
We are two incredibly hard working people both working usually 7 days a week. We are quiet and enjoy a cold beer after work however we also like to keep to ourselves. We really only have clothes with us so some furniture would be great but we aren't overly fussed. We have a Labrador who is my assistance/therapy dog and his best mate, our cat. All four of us are house trained and have great rental references!
Hi Everyone, My name is James, 30 years old and originally from the UK. I have been working in Australia for the past 5 years and now have Australian Residency. I am moving down to Melbourne to start a job on the 4th November at Monash University. Ideally i am looking for somewhere within walking distance of the Monash University, Caulfield campus. My job requires significant travel, i am usually away 3-4 months per year. I am fairly sporty and take part in triathlons, tennis, squash, badminton, kitesurfing and pretty much anything else, If you are sporty that’s a real bonus! I dont know anyone in Melbourne at the moment so ideally i am looking for a group of people who are social and like to have a bit of fun on the weekends. I dont have any furniture i am bringing to Melbourne so if the apartment is furnished already that would be great. I also have 2 bikes, 1 triathlon bike and one road bike. I usually do a 40 minute bike session in the morning on my wind training so having somewhere to do that in the morning is pretty important. If there is anything else you want to know please get in contact and i look forward to hearing from you James
Hello hello everyone, My name is Amity and I am moving to Melbourne early 2019. I’m from the Torres Strait islands and I’m looking for a change to a city I love. I will be working full time and eventually part time as a musician. I’m a generally chill & down to earth person who loves a good laugh and a good time. I’m super flexible when it comes to where or who I’m living with but I am particularly looking for likeminded people who will put up with my shower singing. I am easy to live with and do my part to keep people happy and keep up the good vibes. Look forward to hearing from you.
I'm originally from Perth but moved to Melbourne for work at the beginning of this year after 5 years of studying in Canberra. Would love to live close to the beach, but preferably not too far away from the city. I'm looking for housemates who are fairly quiet during the week but keen to go out and do stuff on weekends! I'm clean and respectful of others, enjoy hanging out with mates and going out, but always down for a quiet movie night in. Looking for a home, not just a house to live in!
I’m an easy going Primary School Teacher who is moving over to Melbourne. I’ve got family and friends in Melbourne, but I’m looking to have my own place. I travel most school holidays which tends to be every 10 weeks so. I’m not home a great deal.
Hey, I'm a 20y/o Scottish girl looking for some where to stay until February when I leave Melbourne to do my farm work . Ideally Id like to stay close to the beach and quiet... I get that's hard to accommodate but that's the dream. I plan on doing some travelling in the first few months but likely it will just be at the weekends so I can have a week day job as well. Love a night out as much as a movie night with snacks as long as I'm in good company. I'm quite a clean and organised person and that would reflect on my room and living space. Would be more than happy to stay with any animal but if you have a dog, please I'd love it if I could stay with you. I'm always looking for a good time and to make friends but also will respect others space. Land in Melbourne on the 8th of November
Hey there, I’m a professional guy who’s looking a good place for long term either short term. I am into outdoors, rd trips, exploring new things and places. Music is therapeutic for me and I’ m always down for a good meal, cooking or TV/Netflix with housemates. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean after myself. I’m very respectful, reasonably private but social, always happy for a chat but not a party person. I come with a car so off-street parking is a bonus otherwise on-street is just fine. I want to have a nice cozy room and chill place to come home to each night. Happy to pay upfront rent for a good place. Don’t hesitate for further chat. Best regards,
I'm extremely easy going, open minded and fastidious. So anyone living with me always benefits as I do most of the the cleaning. I respect others needs for private space with occasional socialising. I'm a full time student and artist, so spend most of my time doing assignments or paintings. I'm looking for low maintenance housemates who are also not overly sensitive emotionally. Just want to live in a drama free household. 😊👍 I have a Japanese spitz (small-medium size dog), but can keep her at family if absolutely necessary.I also have some furniture so looking for a place that can accommodate furniture or has storage for furniture until I can figure out what to do with it. I'm looking for home I can be comfortable in, and has a friendly, safe and open environment. This is imperative as I am more of a home body. Respect is also key regarding interaction between housemates as well as respect for belongings. I would like a bedroom door that is lockable and would prefer to live in a house, but open to apartment only if there is a balcony with view or a courtyard as apartments can get claustrophobic. 😜☺️
Hi! I’m Tom, a 22-year-old individual who is looking for a room to make it feels like home. I am a future student of property valuation, while at the moment I'm working full time in hospitality. I lived in a share house before I left for a big trip around Europ. I love the feeling of having someone else at home although it is important to respect each other’s need for privacy and space. The kitchen is my passion, I spend my free time cooking or baking. Length of stay needed is 3 to 6 months. Looking forward to finding my awesome new place.
I´ve been living in melbourne for the past 4 years now. Got a new job at Carrum downs so plan on shifting closer to my workplace. Love music, socialising, travelling, but most importantly, understand the meaning of personal space in a sharehouse.
