Hey there... Over living in a shoebox? We have a huge room for rent in an awesome 3 bedroom house in North Sydney. Seriously wait til you see it. Unfurnished w/wardrobe $290 P/W plus bills. Fully furnished $310 P/W plus bills. - For couples it is an extra $100 P/W on top of furnished/un-furnished price. Bond is 4 weeks rent. The room itself is large and comes unfurnished besides a big wardrobe. It is available on 3rd December. This house would suit someone who is ideally working in North Sydney (but not necessary) as you could walk to work, not to mention the money you would save on travel (I personally save about $40 p/w on travel) The house is fully furnished with all modern appliances and furniture (apart from your bedroom). Highlights of the house are the huge sunroom at the back, the huge 2 level backyard, great views, second outdoor dunny and wine cellar. It is about 7mins walk to North Sydney CDB and train station and about 10mins walk to North Sydney Ferry Station. 25 min walk to Sydney CBD. Only 5mins walk to the water. Oh and I have Netflix, Hulu Plus and super fast cable internet! Unfortunately the street parking is timed and myself and my other housemate are using the only 2 available parking permits, so if you have a car it probably wouldn't work for you unless you knew some secret untimed parking spaces around here. As for me, I'm in my early 30's and work full-time in North Sydney. During the week I'm pretty busy with work/gym/dog and then on the weekend I like to do all the general stuff people like to do. Scuba Diving if I get a chance. I have been told I'm pretty clean for a guy, have been living in share houses since my early 20's so I know the drill, I'm very laid back and I also enjoy having a beer every now and again with my housemate just so we aren't strangers. I have always lived in the inner west so am still kind of adjusting. I also have a super friendly 7 year old staffy who will probably want to be your best friend. Dimity's blurb about herself - I'm in my mid twenties and work as a personal assistant in the CBD. I'm a huge animal lover, especially Craig's dog and the possum that comes to visit here every now and again. I'm usually out at least a couple of times a week at a dance class or dinner with friends. Enjoy going out and socialising with friends or hanging around home, baking and watch Netflix! Can't wait to meet you!!! I'll be showing the room starting this week, so if you're keen drop me a line to tell me a bit about yourself and then we can organise a time for you to come check it out and meet myself, Dimity and Buddy (the dog). Any questions just ask. Look forward to hearing from you Craig
Originally from the Blue Mountains. Working in the CBD full time Mon-Fri 9-5. Master chef, neat and tidy, can take bins out if required.
I'm fun, love to cook and love a balance between socialising and a quiet night in. I just spent the last two years living in a share house in London and we always had a blast. I studied Interior Design at uni and am working in Outdoor Media. My role is for two months in Sydney and after that I will potentially be moved to Melbourne. I love to go on adventures and try new things. Sometimes the most spontaneous of ideas create the best weekends. Would love to live in a house with people with a good sense of humour, reasonably clean and love a chat over a drink here and there.
Hi, I'm 33 years old fitness professional. Looking for nice space with good communication to CBD where I work. Polish girl born in Melbourne, came here again after 27 years in Warsaw last year. I'm tidy, honest and open, like to meet new people. Love to have a relaxing dinner with friends and few drinks on weekends. Very busy normally, long working days:) Can't wait to meet my new flatmate:)
Hey guys, I'm looking for a single room in a nice house or flat. I will be working in Macquarie park starting this week. A bit about myself; I'm 25 years old, been living in Australia for about 4 years now and moved down to Sydney from Brisbane couple of months ago. I'm clean, tidy and respect others privacy. Always up for a chat and a dinner or something. Please contact me if you got what am looking for. I got a car so a parking spot or free street parking will be needed. Cheers,

Super easy going and social, just moved down from the Gold Coast and need a place to live long term! I'm in Sports Marketing at Fox and work pretty hard Monday-Friday, but like to kick back on weekends. I'll come with full Foxtel for the house, and ripping banter. Get in touch! I need a place as soon as possible.
I am a California Beach Lifeguard studying abroad from SDSU to UTS. I can't wait to experience Sydney and it would be great to find a place to live where I can really explore the city. I'm not home to much because I'll probably be in the library or at the beach. I also love to cook and live in a safe/clean environment.
Hi all! I am currently looking for a private room in the areas described. I am a PhD at UTS in the field of microbiology, bioinformatics and genomics. I am looking for a nice place to live, preferably in a quiet and green area. I would like to live in an international environment, with respectful and tidy/clean people. I would enjoy feeling at home with my flatmates, exchange a chat and some laughs in the evenings. I would be gone for work every working day approx. 9 to 6, and I dance twice a week. I love animals, I wouldn't mind cats or other small pets in the house :)
I am a real estate agent in Mosman/Neutral bay. Just recently moved to Sydney and looking to find my own place. I have a stunning bengal cat so must be ok with pets. I also have most of my own furniture but happy to sell if not required. Looking to live with a young professional under 30, I am very clean and expect the same back. I am a people person and ideally would like to live with someone who is sociable
Iain, 29, British. Here working as a bricklayer. Just been sponsored by my firm so looking to spend the next couple of years at least out here in Australia.
Hi! I (Çağla) and my friend Damla are looking for a room. Both of us are chemical engineers and we have a work and holiday visa. Also we are clean, tidy and friendly. If you are ok to share your house with 2 girls, we wanna see your house and meet you.
2 British girls looking for a decent place to live. Travelling around Australia has taken its toll and we finally want somewhere to settle for Summer in Sydney! We are clean, tidy, considerate and respectful and we can cook! What more could you wish for!? We are here to work and enjoy what Sydney has to offer but do enjoy a glass of vino on the weekends!
I am currently a student at University of Sydney while also working full time. In my free time I love sitting down with a good book and spending time outdoors. I am very independent and self sufficient but also enjoy spending weekends cooking with friends and enjoying a glass of wine. At home I am very clean and tidy. I would love to find a share house of like minded and friendly people.
*** NB NOT MOVING OUT UNTIL NOVEMBER *** Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a push bike, 2 cd racks and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space somethings could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I also have a big tv - currently with ex housemates if you need one in your lounge room and have a display unit for it to sit it on - we can retrieve it .... I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Sometimes I get 4 day breaks when I've worked 10 days in a row, I try to get away for those breaks usually Queensland. I get about 7 weeks annual leave and I like to go overseas or up to Queensland to visit my family. I try to travel outside school holiday time - who wants to pay those inflated prices ?? ;) I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
I'm an International PhD candidate looking for a room to rent from mid-December. I work on campus and train at the university gym five days a week, and so, won't be home most of the day. Over the weekends, I usually cook, do housework, and watch cooking shows.

Hello! I moved to Sydney from the UK at the end of September. I'm working up in Asquith but want to be living a little bit closer to the action. I'm very easy going, have flat shared in London for 5 years with no problems. I'm looking for a place that is a home rather than just a place to sleep. I have a good amount of friends in Sydney already so won't be around all the time, but would love to have a glass of wine with my new flatmate(s)! I have a full time, permanent job that will keep me pretty busy in the days and I enjoy keeping fit through going to the gym or playing netball in the evenings. As any 20 something, I of course love going out for dinner/drinks with friends, but I'm respectful of others space and privacy so won't have an spontaneous, wild parties! If you think that I'd be a good fit - I'd love to hear from you! Tamsin
Hello! I am Giulia, an italian girl. I moved to Sydney 4 months ago and I am actually working full time and soon (from October) I will start evening classes. I am looking for a single or shared room. Cheers.
Hi all! I am relocating from Brisbane and need a place to call home. I'll be working in Events in Pyrmont so would like something nice and easy to get to preferably! I do have a car so would need to know if there is a garage/street parking. I am a very outgoing working professional, super neat and tidy and love to have a laugh and a cheeky wine! I'm not a big party person and will respect your space - it would of course be great to make a friend though! Happy to share a place with preferably no more than 2 other housemates (no shared bedrooms please). Furnished would be great but I can also buy new things/relocate my furniture from Brisbane if you don't have anything - I LOVE styling! Let me know what you've got! :)
Hey, I'm an English girl living and working in Sydney and looking for a great home! I've been in Australia for the past two years and plan to be here a while longer. I'm a marketing exec working in St Leonards so having a train line close by would be preferable. In my spare time I love to cook and keep fit - I go to the gym most work nights. On a weekend I love socialising with friends - especially if it's over cheese and wine!
