Hi there My name is Camille and i'm looking for a homely and peaceful place to live, with the right people. I've nearly finished my masters of teaching and should be out there teaching by the end of the year. I'm friendly and social, and I also like my quiet time. At home I enjoy cooking-mostly vegetarian, and a spot of gardening, having friends over for meals and board-games, reading and art. I also enjoy hiking and other outdoor sports. I try to keep positive about life and aim to live simply. I'd like to live with people who have similar outlook on life :). Please get in touch if this sounds like a good fit :-)
Hi! I'm a wildlife ecologist working for a national conservation organisation, but based out of Adelaide Zoo (or work from home on occasion - who doesn't love that). Whilst I'm based in Adelaide, I have many extended trips away, into the field and to other cities for meetings. I spend plenty of time in the outback for work, but I also love aspects of living in the city; little wine bars, festivals, live music, group fitness and outdoor activities to do! I'm looking to live in a nice and tidy home with an open feel. I'd love to share with some awesome people who are genuine good humans. I'd prefer to live just on the fringe of the city, in the inner East or South suburbs like Parkside, Rosewood, Eastwood, Unley, Norwood, or possibly on the beach (like Henley beach, Glenelg, Brighton). Looking to move by mid/late Oct :) Leah
This house is right in the hub of Norwood! It is close to the CBD and just down the road from the busy parade. The house itself is great for entertaining with a huge backyard. We also have a vegetable garden that is growing with great success! All the bedrooms are spacious with high ceilings and the house stays nice and cool in summer.
Amazing location, huge room fits a queen bed, desk and there's still so much room for activities! Room has ample storage with a built in robe and a large window at end that captures all the beautiful sunshine. There is private access to the bathroom that you will share with one other person.
George and I are a quiet, hard working couple who like to surround ourselves in a peaceful, relaxing and clean environment. We are settling in Adelaide for as long as possible and are looking for somewhere for up to 6 months lease as we want some consistency. We both work in the city at the same restaurant in hospitality and we are looking for somewhere with good links to the city.
My name is Catherine and I am looking for a room to rent as close to Adelaide CBD as possible, available to move immediately. Originally from Russia, I am a Permanent resident in Australia since the end of 2015 and planning to become a citizen. Starting my new job at Women's and Children's Hospital, will be working rotating shifts. Have been doing nanny work before, and my background before coming to Australia is in HR -- I am planning to get back to it once I settle down here and sort out additional training and other things. I don't have a car, pets, don't smoke or drink, don't party, clean after myself, and don't have any furniture except for a queen mattress (+quilt and pillows). I am pretty quiet, like to have my privacy and don't bother others, but happy to chat, cook together or hang out in the outdoor areas. I am usually the tidiest person in the household (at least that was the case in all sharehouses I lived in), and every once in while will get in the mood to bake pies and cookies to share with everyone.
Hey, my name is Kalen and I am a 19 year old male currently living in melbourne, I am a quiet and clean individual and very easy to get along with. I currently work in hospitality and plan on undertaking studies at the begining of next year, I am extremely friendly to animals so pets wouldnt be a problem for me and I love to socialise and get out and do things all whenever I can. I am more than happy to assist with the cooking and cleaning duties and will always show iniative if I see something that needs done. I see myself as a very pleasant person to live with and I know you will too.
I’m an easygoing, divorced professional who loves to laugh. Am LGBT with no kids, too many degrees and a sweet cat. I work full time as a gov PR and social media advisor in the CBD and I like the good things in life. I’m a bit of an extrovert, but respectful of an introvert’s need for space. I like to cook, love good food and wine, and trying new restaurants, pubs and festivals (especially Fringe etc) as they roll on by. However my clubbing and all-night party days are well behind me now. I’m very respectful of privacy and keeping noise low, however I’m also a sociable gal and I love a good chat over a glass of wine or a cup of tea. I’m a card-carrying nerd, so if you like that sort of thing then hey, all the better! But totally cool if you’re not. I can get along with pretty much anyone as long as we’re both respectful. I’m interested in a teamup with another professional who doesn’t mind splitting a bigger (3-4 br), modern/updated, cat-friendly home between 2 of us. I’m at that age where I want all the mod cons like dishwashers, ducted a/c and decent bathrooms. I’m also happy to pay for regular cleaning, and I’ll always keep communal areas tidy. Don’t mind gender as long as you’re cool.
We're a super friendly and considerate pair. Xavi is an engineer and I'm a designer, we both recently moved here from San Francisco and are looking for a place to stay with some relaxed and social people. We love to hang out, but also enjoy having time alone so either works for us. Super clean, super organized.
PhD student at Uni Zurich who will stay in Adelaide for about 5.5 months. I love to practice sports and read during my free time. I'm always up for shared activities like cooking or going for a walk/bike ride. I've been living in shared flats since I started uni 7 years ago, so I always share gladly my time and space with others.
Our beautiful home is located just off of the Parade in Norwood! There's 1 off street car park available + another for guests. Parking on the street is a possibility but you'll have to get a permit from the council! We have a pet cat named Dolly & she's a very non-destructive fluffball. There's modern furnishings throughout the house and a washer / dryer too. The living room has a beautiful working fireplace & there's airconditioning in the kitchen / dining room too!
Our house is in such a convenient location, just 100m from the parade in Norwood. On street parking is available however you will need to get a permit from the council, and there is one off street car park and a guest car park available.
Hi there. I'm a student graduating at the end of the year and starting work in Adelaide CBD in early January. I'm social but I also love a quiet night in. I'm a clean and tidy person but I'm easy going and don't get fussed by much. I'd love to find someone to be a housemate, but hopefully also a friend to share a chat with every now and then. I'm looking for a female(s) who might want to team up to find somewhere close to the city. I'm flexible with timing and location but hope to have moved before mid January. Send me a message if you're in a similar situation. I'd love to hear from you.
My name is nicola, I'm 20 years old and work a day job in the city. At the moment I'm nearly finished a degree in wildlife conservation at the university of Adelaide but have taken this semester off to work. I'm looking to stay somewhere for the foreseeable future while I finish my degree. I absolutely love travel, photography and the outdoors, and the gym, so in my spare time I'm usually out of the house. That being said I love to hang out over food and movies, and would love to meet some easygoing, friendly people to share a home with! I'm clean and tidy but have no issues with mess, and I love animals so if you have pets it isn't a problem! I have my own furniture to furnish a room but can also easily store it all as well. I'm also flexible with dates and can wait if you're not quite ready for someone by the date I've set. Please feel free to message if you think I might be suited for your listing :)
So we're Daniel and Keaton! We are looking for a third person (or more) to find a decent house to share around the Adelaide CBD or surrounding suburbs. There are some alright looking 2 bed places around but sharing between 3 or more you can get some much nicer places for the same price per person. Looking to move in October time. - $200 per week or less is what we're aiming for (after bills ideally) - Happy teaming up with either males or females - Will divide up room rents fairly, given most places will have a master room or something - Looking for someone who wants to stick around for awhile (We'll both be here for several years) Daniel - British guy, just moved to Adelaide, works in physics research Keaton - Melburnian, newish to Adelaide too, works in advertising We're both pretty chilled out, but like keeping the place relatively tidy and organised, work full-time so don't really want a party house all the time. Both into gaming (We have a Switch, more consoles will be added no doubt), cooking, hanging out as a house, cycling, bouldering, checking out bars/cafes around the city. Up for adding anymore activities you might want to bring to the house.
Hi, I'm an easygoing person and currently in my last semester at uni. I am a non-smoker and I like reading, popular culture and some quiet time. I'm not really a party person but I'm not a buzzkill either. Mostly cook at home and try to eat healthy. I like going for walks in nature or to the beach when the weather is nice. I respect and maintain personal boundaries and privacy.
Hey im Kurt! Im 21 and im looking to move out of my parents house and adventure out to the big world on my own! Im looking for a room to rent with 1-3 house mates in a local area around my work. Im an apprentice cabinermaker and love my job, i work 5-6 days a week usually between 7 - 5. Im gay so would prefer the housemates to be LGBT friendly. I perfer to go to my friends house's also rather then them come to mine, so no need to worry about parties but to be able to have a friend over from time to time would be great! Hi my name is Haico, I’m a 23 year old Engineer moving from Sydney to Adelaide. I am looking for longer term accommodation for a job I’m starting with. I’m a social person and have always managed to get along with people I live with - I can respect people’s space. I like the outdoors (hiking, camping etc..) and have recently gotten into Scuba diving too. I also enjoy cooking, BBQ’ing and having a good meal with good people. This is the first time I’ve even visited Adelaide so I’m keen to meet people and explore the area.
Aaron is a full time apprentice plumber, heard working and dedicates his spare time to playing and refereeing basketball. Chelsea is a full time store manager who also likes sports and spending time with family and friends. Very relaxed and down to earth couple, always up for a convo!
Hi I'm Emma, 22 year old female looking at moving back to Adelaide primarily to finish off my uni degree. I am studying teaching, I work in a school. Love the outdoors, sports, food, travelling and music. Always up for a laugh, I'm easy going and get along with people easily. I am sociable and friendly, but enjoy my own space - likewise I understand and respect others space.
Both a clean and respectful couple. Both from Ireland. We are both working full time, we work in Construction. We enjoy hitting the gym and chilling out during the week and we like to enjoy ourselves at the weekend, beach, going out for food and drinks etc.
