We live in a beautiful area in the southern end of The Royal National Park. If you want to be close to nature but still not far away from everything you need, then this is the place to be! The property is on three acres on top of the escarpment with views up and down the coast with the best ever sunrises and sunsets! Please see the photos! (Room will be available at the end of January)

It's a brilliant little house built in the 1920's on a big block, just across from the ocean. There's unlimited internet and utilities included in the rent, we've just got a new gas tank so you'll be sweet for ages. There's 3 bedrooms (you'll have the best one) and we all share a bathroom (there's never an issue with that). Timber hardwood floors throughout, with slate flooring in the bathroom and laundry. The kitchen has a gas stove and oven, there's a big fridge and more than enough pantry space. The laundry has the usual washing machine, dryer, sink etc. It's all set up. For winter there's a wood fireplace in the main sitting area (we've got wood sorted already), there's a porch out the front and a partially covered seating area out back, so you can always find the sun. There's a big grassy backyard for whatever you want - yoga, archery, colossal bonfire - and plenty of garden beds to grow whatever you're in to. If you're commuting the Clifton bus stop is across the road or it's an easy walk to Scarborough Train Station. Major transport centres like Thirroul/Helensburgh are 10-15 mins drive respectively.
This is an amazing place to live. I describe it to others as a holiday house. Situated 2-3 minutes walk to the beach, it has water views (you can hear the waves), is surrounded by trees and has a huge backyard complete with a little bridge over a creek and campfire/bbq. Features bare floorboards and large windows for stunning morning sunrises over the ocean. Around the corner from a train station that is under 20mins to Wollongong and a bus stop right out the front of the house. Access to NBN Internet, Netflix, aircon. Includes all appliances and furniture but open to negotiate if you would like to bring some of your own gear. You will be sharing with a male mature age master/PhD student who is easygoing, respectful and quiet. LGBT friendly. 6 months lease with possible extension afterwards. Feel free to message with any questions.
Hey! My name is Emily, I'm 28, and I'm looking to move further north from Wollongong to be closer to my job as a climbing instructor at Climb Fit Kirrawee. I would love to bring with me my 4 year old cat named Cea, who is super friendly (but mostly keeps to herself, being a cat). I'm pretty outdoorsy so spend my days off climbing, hiking or going to the snow in winter. When I am home, I like to keep things tidy, and will cook a few nights a week. I also have a really good ASKO washing machine that I've been keeping in storage, so ideally the house wouldn't be opposed to an upgrade ;)
We have a huge backyard and are just a street away from beautiful thirroul beach. Lovely views of the escarpment and a fairly quiet street. We have netflix, stan, amazon prime set up in the lounge room, great for binge watching TV shows and movies!! The lounge also has air con. We are a very relaxed household. I have an energetic jack russell. He is very cute and loves hanging out with humans. Although bills are not included in the rent, its just $30 a month for internet and TV streaming, approx $25 per month for the cleaner and occasional lawn mowing when needed (approx $16 each time, or free if you mow the lawns yourself!!) Electricity is quarterly and is usually around $120pp.
The house has a rustic charm, located at the end of a cul de sac. It has a large open plan living area with gas log fire, very comfortable living with a lovely garden and deck with views of the sea. Lots of birds and greenery. The house is 7 mins walk to the train and 5 mins walk to shops and restaurants and less to Ryans Hotel and the medical centre just down the road. And a 4 mins cycle to the beach. The house offers a delightful place to relax in a nice corner of Thirroul, about an hour’s drive from Sydney. A very handy location if requiring the express train route to Sydney. The room offered is set up with a double bed and lovely outlook to the garden. Built in wardrobe and shelving available. Bathroom next door. Bills are included except heating costs in the winter
