The house is a quaint sandstone villa, 10 mins from the city in Payneham. Inside it features polished floorboards and high ceilings throughout. It's in excellent condition and has a great kitchen with a stack of bench space and gas cooking, which is perfect if you consider yourself to be handy around a chopping board! The bedroom itself is large and sunny, approx 5m x 5m in living space, along with a huge set of built-ins with room on either side of the mantle and also against the wall opposite the window for desks/cupboards if you want! The bed in the photos can be yours if you'd like, perhaps for a little more $ p/week but we can chat about that anyway. The house also has a great yard (see photos) with an undercover patio area that has table chairs - perfect for summer! There is also a lemon tree!
Hi, I'm Kris, If you want a stable, sensible, neat housemate, who is an excellent cook and mixer of exemplary cocktails, look no further. I run my own business, whilst studying Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience full time. This keeps me quite busy and has me sequestered in front of a screen or book, and out of trouble for much of the day. I don't play loud music, and late, raucous nights are something that you do not need to worry about. I generally keep pretty fit, Running in Morialta, riding, gym, various martial arts etc. If there is somewhere to install a small boxing bag, that would be just dandy. If there is a shed or space available for my tools, I would be very happy, but it is not essential... just preferable. I am a capable gardener and handyman. I am looking for an unfurnished room, big enough to fit a queen double, I will also need room for a desk, bookshelves and a metric tonne of books... I may be exaggerating a little... maybe. Complimentary bonuses that come with my residence: Tools and someone who knows how to use them Regular kitchen knife sharpening Costco Membership Jar opening and top shelf reaching services The understanding ear of a professional counsellor Free cocktail making lessons A sparring partner in boxing, BJJ and MMA A free set of steak knives! * One, maybe two housemates would be great**, I am, however, severely allergic to drama, gangstas, regular illicit drug users, people who throw their phones, angry drunks, and bees*** I'm looking to move sometime in the first half of December, I have a couple of weeks wriggle room on the date. If this all works for you, and you are on the eastern side of Adelaide, within a stone's throw of Magill Rd, I look forward to hearing from you *While stocks last. **Furry housemates don't count towards the total. Especially dogs. Bring on the puppies. *** Actually I'm not really allergic to bees, I quite like them... and their sweet sweet honey.

Please get in touch if this sounds like a good fit :-)

Spends most of his day in the sun and likes to sleep on his mat next to our bed at night. We are hoping to find a temporary home with some cool people, while we save to one day buy our own place.

Hi, my name's Raj Chatterjee. I'm a university student pursuing a degree in Accounting, at the moment. I'm not studying this semester as I had taken a break last December to work on a 5 month project regarding habitat conservation in some swamps in South Adelaide. My degree may start next March. I've been living in a share accommodation for the last 10 months and am well used to it, by now. I'm a calm, respectful person who can get very talkative when in the mood. But am very aware of others' spaces and respect them, and am rather tidy too, particularly in common use areas. I spend a lot of time reading on my interests in Constitutional Law and economics, and keep to myself. I'm keen on well-spaced room with a bed and a wardrobe that'd come within $160/week inclusive of rent, water, electricity and NBN. Any house (in any suburb) that has supermarkets nearby (as I mostly have to rely on walking/public transport to get around) and is not over a 35 mins ride to the city are more preferable. Thanks! :)
Clean, tidy person. Respect each other's privacy... enjoying as well sharing a glass of wine or a beer or a chat. Working full time in a restaurant.
Myself an Indian national with an Australian PR. I am into the Facilities Management industry and work as an Operations Manager. Will relocate soon to Australia.
We are a couple of friendly professionally working people in our 30s. We are looking for a place for short term stay (like yours) while we are looking to buy a house. We don't need much room as we have been living out of our suit cases for the past month already, since all our furniture is in storage. We are interested in your accommodation. Please let us know if you would accept couple and if we can have a look at the place. Thanks, Anthony.
Hi guys. So I’m moving interstate at the beginning of next year, and am hoping to have someone take over my rental house. The three bedroom house is in a superb area of Payneham. Really close to public transport, gyms, food, the city etc, in a quiet Culdesac. Rooms are a decent size, there’s a huge yard and a shed for your tinkering needs, and pets are negotiable (I have a dog). Hit me up if you’re looking for a good place to live for next year.
Hello! My name is Hannah and I'm currently 19 years of age! I'm studying at Marden Senior College (part time) to complete my year 12 certificate. Whilst I do love my odd night outs, I do like being at home either in my room or talking with my roommates. I'm ideally looking for a house where the tennants and I can have dinner together with a movie but will also let me smoke (outside, if preferred) and my cat snuggle up with us!

Unit is fully furnished with the exception of the spare bedroom. The living room has reverse-cycle and the bedroom has a ceiling fan to you cool during those warm summer nights. Hey future housemates :) Patrick (Pat) and I along with our friendly mutt Mowgli are looking for some fun but clean and tidy people who are approx our age to live with! We are both 25, relaxed and happy, appreciate some good banter ;) but also like to keep things very clean and tidy. Both of us are seasoned roomies and have been living in share houses for 3-5 years so we know how to respect others and get along. Our past housemates have always become our good friends :) I am a veterinarian and Pat is finishing his PhD in wildlife and livestock disease epidemiology and ecology. In our free time we like running, making pancakes, hiking, walking our dog and going out with friends. We have been together for 5 years and we have lived together before for >1year and also done a year of long distance. Mowgli is a 3yo male desexed medium sized mixed breed and has also lived in share houses his whole life :) he is very well trained and behaved and has been to both puppy school and additional dog training (certificates available if required). He can come with references from previous landlords and housemates if required. He is well looked after and walked for >1hr by me daily. He never barks or digs because he's not that kind of dog and also is so well stimulated with lots of exercise, play and food dispensing toys. He sleeps outside and is outside when no one is home however he does need to be allowed to come inside when we're home as he is very much part of the family <3
Moving back to Adelaide from rural SA for new work opportunities. Experienced in living in share houses. I am respectful of others belongings and enjoy a good chat and watching TV with my room mates. I enjoy cooking, keeping fit (netball and hiking... hoping to take up gymnastics). I work full time as an Occupational Therapist and would likely be out often on the weekends also.
*LOOKING FOR FEB 2018 TIME* Looking for somewhere to spend my last 6 months in Adelaide! I will have just come back from travelling around Australia from December-feb, and then need a place for my second semester. I will then be returning to the UK after spending a year here. I'm not at all a clean freak, but would like to live in a place where everyone is happy to do their own part, and not afraid to wash the dishes! I love going to the beach, going out, festivals, any music and drinking wine or beer! But more than happy to just sit at home, relax and watch Netflix! Love animals, so having pets is no problem. I don't smoke, but don't mind living with those who do. Would need to be somewhere near public transport, as I need to get to Magill campus but also like going into the city. Just a nice place to spend my last few months here, and meet new people! (Preferably all females)
I'm friendly, easy going, love dogs (i don't have pet), I like to have an ensuite bathroom so it'll be easier for me to go at night :) , I'm a student (master program at uni of adelaide), prefer female flatmates

Hi! I plan to move to Adelaide by 29th of December as my course starts from 1st January 2018. I am going to study in the City East Campus of UniSA. I am looking for a shared flat around the area. I am from India, very easy going and mostly preoccupied with my books. I respect privacy and can be very non-intrusive potential flatmate. I am not too much of a party person, but do enjoy a drink or two after a long day; having said that, if you're throwing a party at the flat, I would be more than happy to help and participate if needed. When I am not studying or reading novels, I devote my time to Netflix. Absolutely adore dogs, hence don't have much problem with pets.

Old enough to know how to get on with people, to know what matters and what doesnt. I am a happy person, but not intrusive. I am fairly private,. but not unsociable. I am looking for a large-ish room with an ensuite.
Pretty relaxed living space - great for studying and close to city, Norwood shops etc. Very old villa with lots of rustic charm and a nice garden with plenty of room to start veggie patches/ pursue hobbies etc. It's a lush place that is surely very inviting for those with a green thumb. The house is very old, circa 1880 and was likely one of the first establishments in the area. Yep they sure don't build them like they used to, and this old beast has certainly stood the test of time. With it comes the energies of families, lovers, artists and travelers from all walks of life across many different parts of the world. The space is a quiet place and best suited for those who like peaceful living, with the occasional dinner with friends and good banter. I have a large double room available at the front of the house. It has been recently repainted and has a queen bed, large standing desk, shelving and open hanging space for clothes. It is a comfortable space with lots of room. I would ideally like a couple in this room as it reduces rent and makes living here quite cheap, however i am open to single applicants also. With three people here it's $100 each per week, which includes ADSL. Water and electricity are extra and charged quarterly. I like being around people who are light hearted with a sense of humour, and preferable experience with share-house living.
