I'm looking for a place to live near Acacia Ridge ASAP as I start working there. I am 23 years old girl from Estonia. Been in Australia for 6 months on working holiday visa. Really loving it! I can mostly keep to myself but I would also love an occasional wine/beer and with housemates. Also keen to watch movies, just chat, BBQ or anything really. Looking for a home not just a house 😊 Also I'm really tidy and neat and expect the same from others 😊 Ps. Need a place for 5 weeks (until 3rd of July) and need to move in on 1st on June latest.
My name is Jamie and I'm 22, I'm currently living in NSW but will be relocating to Brisbane in mid June for study purposes. I will be studying at Griffith Uni Nathan campus. I'm working full time at the moment and I plan to be working part-time or casual while studying. I like my own space so I won't be in your hair or much of a bother. I'm polite, respectful of others spaces, privacy and lifestyles and I like to keep a clean space. I'm after a furnished room (bed + study desk would be ideal) in a share house though I'm also interested in team ups and unfurnished rooms as I can bring my own bed. A place where I could stay long term (1 or more years) would be preferable. I'd like to have a place close by public transport. I love animals so rooms in a house with pets would be no issue to me but I myself don't have any pets. I also enjoy socializing and wouldn't mind having a chat and hanging out with other flatmates but I'm also fine with keeping to myself if that is preferable. I finish my work in NSW on the 16th of June and will be in Brisbane for some of the following days to look at accomodation.
New Zealander just moved here to purse a job as a flight instructor at Archerfield aerodrome. Am a super easy going person who enjoys being social but is also more then happy to quieten down. Have way too many interests of which cars, motorbikes, music, adventuring, outdoors and gym are only a few.
Howdy! I work in a college kitchen in Saint Lucia. I am quitting smoking a.s.a.p, but if smoking is an issue, I am very happy to get as far from the premises as possible if I do go for a smoke! I have 1 bird with me who is very friendly, her name is Myla and she loves head scratches :) I enjoy art, games, cooking and gardening. I'd love a place where I can relax and work on my art projects. I'm super tidy and respectful of communal areas and personal space. Would love to hear from you!
A little bit about my partner and I, I work full time as an ALM (Auslan Language Model) and my partner is unemployed however is trying his hardest looking for a job. He is with a job agency, and used to work for Brisbane city council. We both are 19, and is very clean, respectful and fun. I am deaf and my partner is hearing impaired so I promise we will be very quiet and no parties!
My name is Cassandra and I am looking for a new location to live. I currently live too far from my place of work. and relying on public transport it takes well over an hour and a half to get to work every day. I am a soon to be full-time hairdressing apprentice I currently work just over 30 hours a week. I am a quiet and courteous person and I'm easy to get along with. I am looking for a place in or around Kenmore. please contact me on the messenger on flatmates or directly text me thank you.
Hi, I'm Julie and I'm looking for a large room where I can have my queen size bed and a table to put my TV and DVD equipment. I also need an area of about 2.5 metres wide to set up my computer and other equipment. Ideally I'm looking for a large room or rumpus room sort of thing, granny flat etc. I can't afford much more than about $180 as I also have to pay $50 per week for storage at a facility. I've lived in the same rented house for over 14 years and can provide an excellent reference from the landlord. I have to move as both my housemates (lived with me 12 years and 1.8 years) both moved out at the same time and I can't afford $440 rent on my own. I'm a pet lover, non-smoker, hard worker with a fun and positive outlook on life. I'm a good communicator and also "don't sweat the small stuff" when living with others. I am looking now, with a move-in date of 3-4 June. I hope I will find something suitable very soon. I can inspect any evening after about 6.30 or any time on the weekend. If you have measurements of the room that would be great! Call me! :-)
-Pets must be aloud- Hello fellow comrades! My names jaunita, 23 and work full time. I have a cute ragamuffin kitten named Delilah that is 5 months old that will be living with me that needs to be indoors. She is house trained and super playful! And lovvveess to be with people. Myself I'm fairly quiet and respectful of people, their things and space. I tend to spend a lot of my time at work or at the gym or out and about. I'm very laid back just about nothing bothers, clean up after myself and pitch in on house cleaning, but not OCD. I look forward to talking to you!
We are a really quiet couple, who need to get out of my partners parents place. We literally don't have a room, despite there being three bedrooms, as four other adults have their rooms. We are looking to move out into our own little place, prefferably a place where I can have my own space, including kitchen, as I have a few mental conditions and live with chronic illnesses. I will be getting a service dog in August as well, hopefully right after we move in to a place, so it has to have a yard, just big enough for her to do her business in (I will be cleaning up her poop). We are both uni students, with James just starting his PHD in July, so he plans to be at uni a lot and I plan to be able to study at home. Please ask us any questions you may have
Looking for all-female house/flat close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 26-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean, considerate, and friendly, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - about 1.5 cubed metres (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room). I'm potentially interested in other areas besides these - further east or north.
I'm a clean, intuitive individual who loves socialising as much as I love my own time. I would love to live in a share house with people around my own age, preferably students. I'm currently studying Business and Psychological Science at Griffith, half way through my third year. I currently work at an architecture printing shop in Slacks Creek. I also have a ute, and have a passion for driving; so if you ever need anything moved, or just need a lift, I'm always happy to help. My hobbies include: Game of Thrones, movie watching, working out, playing PlayStation; all the usual 21-year-old male things. I get along well with women and have lived with them before, and respect the privacy and rules of other housemates, as much as I expect them to respect mine. I'm 6 foot 2, and love working out, but also love pizza. You do the math. If you need furniture moved, or a spider killed (or moved), I'm your guy. I have lived in a few sharehousing before, and understand the culture and nature of doing so successfully.
I'm so easygoing. I like to spend time talking, drinking something and having good times. I enjoy listening to music, walking and cooking.
Hey there I am looking for a place to rent anywhere from Mt gravatt to Salisbury. I do security work most days Monday to Friday usually early in the morning but every now and then I will get the afternoon shift. I keep myself busy these days with gym, hikes/trips, reading, learning yoga and being out and about when I can. I enjoy having a laugh with my roommates but I am also respectful of peoples privacy and quite time. If you think we can get along and share some fun times shoot me a message
I am a working professional moving to Brisbane at the end of May to work in Eight Mile Plains. As a mature, professional, I only wish to share with one other person in a two or three bedroom property. I would like off street parking and access to my own bathroom. If you are not offering this, please do not contact me. I travel a lot for work and work long hours, so like to chill when I am at home. I love to chat and socialise over a drink, and even cook and share the occasional meal. I am looking to share with some one who is easy going, mature and wiling to clean up after themselves.
Hey guys I'm looking for ensuite for my sister she is a nice person and easy going full time worker and very clean Please contact this number if you have any ensuite then she can come for inspection
Hey i'm Jordan. I work 5-6 days a week as an off sider for a truck company. Meal prepping and watching movies when i'm at home. I love the gym but at same time couldn't care less if the house mates only do beer curls.. I work near coopers plains so anywhere from Annerly to there would be swaz. Would prefer a master room with en-suite but willing to suffice for something different. Defiantly not wanting to move into a party house or a loud house in general. If you feel like you may have a room or would like to meet. Send me an email!! Jordan
I am Griffith Uni student and working part time in customer service. Have my own vehicle. Clean, friendly, considerable. Love to give respect to others privacy. I would love to get some relaxed and chilled flat mates preferably close to my which with whom it's possible to enjoy a weekend chat.. Cheers
oh hey all :) myself, hubby and bestie are on the hunt for some easy going and fun loving individuals, much like ourselves, who'd be keen to share a home with us.. myself, well, i'm a kiwi legend, and currently in-between jobs (my great debate is what job do i want to get out of bed for next!) dear hubby is a half philippino (aussie boganite deep down), who is working part time! the bestie is... fantasticly fabulous. fantabulous! down to earth with genuine heart of gold. we have Panda (1yr, male) and Mistletoe (8yrs, female) currently shacked up with us and are our wee feline fur babies *SQUEE* they do tend to provide countless hours of entertainment but in the very least, a giggle or two on the daily :) we've got a massive love affair going on with eating food, an ever lasting relationship with sleeping anytime, anywhere and best friends with a good old chinwag and fag! (i.e. we're chatterboxes who smoke! LOL) with a resume like this we're sure to be snapped up quick, so if we sound like your kind of crazy, don't hesitate and lets get it happening mates!
Aww, what? Writing about myself? Dammit. ok, ok I'm a guy from America who has been in Australia for over 12 years. I have Russian heritage and like to clean my own dishes just after using them. I finished my electrical apprenticeship about 10 months ago , and moved to Brisbane soon after when I fell in love with Zouk partner dancing. I've stayed in the one house the entire time I've been in Brisbane so far. I like meeting people and talking to them. Also having fun and making them laugh ;) My girlfriend stays with me month on, month off and loves attending zouk events. She is learning Russian with me, but she's also working on German while finishing studies.
Note- I am not looking to move until Saturday the 1st of July. I am an environmental professional moving to Brisbane from Adelaide to work with a large mining company. I will be predominantly 9-5pm working in the city centre although, will also be required to work away from time to time. My initial contract is for two years, so if the flat share thing works out, I'm happy to continue for that time. I do not know many people in Brisbane so I figured accommodation sharing might be a good way to meet some people. I enjoy a chat and a few beers/wines, but I also enjoy my own space and downtime. I am clean and tidy, and extremely respectful of other peoples personal space. Also Keen to join a gym nearby, if you know of any? Ideally I will share with only one other person and have a private bathroom. However if the house is large and we aren't all cramped in, and there is at least two bathrooms, I will consider living with more than one person. I will also have some of my own furniture, so can either add this to the household or store it. All good either way.
I'm a master student at Griffith Uni and I'm 28. I'm open minded, clean, friendly, and social. I cook the best grilled meat ever and I love camping, clubbing, and snorkeling. I always try to eat as healthy as possible and I exercise regularly.
Hi, My name is Jayde and my partner is Daemin. I work permanent part-time as a disability support worker and Daemin works in hospitality. I am also studying. We currently live with my family, however they are moving and we need a place. Preferably in the areas stated as Daemin works in Calamvale and uses public transport for work. We are both clean and tidy, responsible, friendly, reliable, honest, trustworthy and easy going. We aren't big drinkers, do not smoke or are allergic to anything. We like animals and get along well with others. We can each pay up to $150 a week and we are available to move in May at earliest. We are flexible on how long we stay, although preferably a minimum of 3 months. Thank-you and we look forward to hearing from you.
