Hello! I'm a 25 year old Scottish designer, just moved to Sydney for work and am looking for a furnished private room in a house share. I’ll be in Sydney for at least another 2 months with the potential to stay for up to a year depending on work so a rolling contract would be great if possible. I like my own space but equally would love to live with fun people who are up for the odd meal or drink together! I'm clean, tidy, very respectful and independent as a flatmate - always pay my rent on time. I'm friendly and relaxed, I love meeting new people and have lived in shared housing before and can provide references if necessary. Please feel free to contact me :)
We are two crazy but lovely British girls who are so easy to get along with. People always ask are we sisters and twins but we are just best friends. We like to spend our weekends with friends and Just having a really good time. We do like to go out for drinks on a weekend but who doesn’t after uubhave worked all week. We are very tidy and would take pride in our roomans house. One of us loves to bake and the other loves to cook so as a pair we would make great house mates. Steph currently works in sales and grace in retail so we are working full time.
~Looking for an apartment to stay 2 nights a week in~ I am a 28yo female, very easy going. Prefer being out and about, exercising or having dinners with friends. I play semi-professionally in an orchestra but for my day job I work in the Sydney CBD and soon to also work in the Brisbane CBD. I am moving to Brisbane to reunite with my partner and will be now working from both my Sydney and Brisbane office. As I will only be in Sydney for 2 nights a week (midweek) I am looking to stay somewhere at a cheaper rate and as a result make the rent cheaper for an existing household without the burden of an extra full time housemate. I would only be at the apartment for two evenings and two mornings. I often even shower and eat b'fast in the office after riding or running in. I physically won't be around enough to contribute to upkeep of the apartment, however I am very neat and always clean up after myself. I like a laugh and a beer with housemates however I am generally out and about with work/orchestra/sport/social commitments. Looking for a tidy, friendly household with a secure bedroom to myself for 2 nights a week (+ on five occasions of the calendar year for a weeks time, as I have orchestra concerts and lead up practice in Sydney 5 times a year). Look forward to hearing form you :) Laura
Hey dudes, my name's René and am originally from New Zealand. I'm 23 which seems old as for a student these days. I'm in post-grad nuclear medicine but might go med school if I can get my shit together (unlikely but who knows). I finished my undergrad end of 2014 and have worked a fair bit since then, so I don't have to drink $2.99 wine anymore. As for me personally I'm pretty relaxed on just about everything. Or think I am at least. I've grown up a wee bit since undergrad and I can't really be bothered partying hard like I used to. I'd rather get stuff done ya know? A beer and low quality chat sesh every now and then doesn't go amiss however. I guess my schedule is a bit irregular, but not like getting in at 3am irregular. In my spare time (hah) I'm busy with sporting commitments, work and owning a motorbike (off-street parking for this would be heaps good, lots of bike thefts in Sydney lately :'( ). Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed in this very general summary.
I’m Kirsten, I’m 31 and from New Zealand and I’ve been in Sydney for two years. I am looking for a short term accommodation as I am looking to rent a house with a friend of mine and just need somewhere in the interim (could become long term if I love the house and flatties though!!). 2 months is just a rough gauge, could be more could be less (most likely more, as I'm super busy at work!) My $300 budget is all inclusive (unless it's a fantastic house and large room then I am willing to negotiate) I work in the hospitality industry (bartending in a restaurant in the city) so my schedule is mainly evening shift work. I’m not sure if you have any preconceived notions about hospitality workers, but I am not the rowdy type although I do like having a quiet drink every now and then. I am a non-smoker and don't mind living with smokers but as long as they keep it outside. I finish up work around about midnight, so would be getting home quite late but I would be respectful of everyone else in the house and keeping noise to the bare minimum. Spose a bonus of living with me would be that we'd never be needing to use the kitchen or bathroom at the same time when getting ready for work! After work, if I'm not already exhausted, I'll wind down by either having a jam on a PlayStation (which I have yet to purchase) or watching a bit of Netflix, quietly of course. On my days off, I'll usually be out and about doing my own thing, unless I've decided it's a cleaning day and I will attempt to sort out the house top to bottom. I am a little bit of an introvert but I am friendly and respectful and pretty mellow and chill. I would love to become friends with my flatmate(s) and make it my home, and not just be an extra body in the house to cover the rent, but I do also value my alone time. I’ve always been the lease holder of places I’ve lived, so I’ve been in charge of paying rent plus organising and collecting utility bill money from other flatmates. Bills and rent will always be paid on time. I’m tidy and always clean up after myself. I like to recycle whenever I can, and will carry recyclables with me until I find an appropriate bin (if I'm not at home) Absolutely love dogs (more than happy to help look after them if needed), but am not willing to live with cats. I also have a car so I will need to have access to unrestricted parking (on-street or off-street, either/or is fine!) Get in touch if you think we'd get along great! cheers!
I have recently moved to Sydney after postgraduate study in London to start a new permanent role as an analyst with my company. I previously worked full-time in Brisbane. In my spare time I am usually busy at sports training, the gym or out catching up with mates. I am a relatively quiet but friendly person who doesn't require anything fancy.
Ash, 28, looking for a quiet ish place after living with a bunch of boys in Bondi. I work full-time as a beauty editor for a news site in the city so come with the added bonus of fun products to sweeten the deal.
I'm looking for a relativity quiet house that doesn't mind sharing a drink or a meal once in awhile. I'm also open to shared cooking. I'm pretty quiet and and easy to get along with. I'm a cat lover so having an animal would be a bonus perk. Not in a hurry to move, just looking at what's available at the moment.
I'm Nate, mature 34 year old. I just started work in the Corporate Business industry - full time (Mon - Fri). I'm also studying Business Management which only has 2 weeks left and also occasionally work on Saturday's at an events company. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle, I don't smoke and don't drink and like cooking easy hassle free food. I love sport and staying active. Walking, running, cycling, tennis, frisbee and of course the beach. Im a very clean, quiet and organised person. I've been living in Sydney share houses on and off for about 10 years so I'd like to think I am experienced at this. I would prefer to live near a train station, prefer furnished rooms, and bills included. I don't mind if you have a cat either. Thanks for your interest

Hi everyone! My name's Josh i'm a 24 year old engineer working in business improvement/ automation for an investment manager near circular quay. I work a lot during the week, and spend most nights at the gym or catching up with friends. I also play football (soccer) and therefore am training a few times a week for most of the year - so not home too much! I am laid back, clean/organised, and sociable (easily convinced to go for a drink) and am looking for housemates that are like-minded and and ideally professionals in their 20s also.
Currently living in Coogee and enjoying it however looking for a place with a little more room. Not in a hurry to move, just looking at options. A little about me: I am passionate about my fitness and love getting out doors and seeing what NSW has to offer. I'm pretty easy to get along with, enjoy some down time with a good book but also love a good games night and banter over a few vinos. Coffee lover who enjoys eating out and trying new places. Epic netflix watching is also a fav past time and I love going to the movies. I have a little Jack Russell named Dexter. He is 9 years old, well trained and loves cuddles. I am looking for a place that will better suit him and a person who I can rely on to treat him well and enjoy his company. If you think we might be well suited send me a message and we can have a chat!
I'm a full-time flight attendant and I recently finished up at UoW with a Bachelor of International Studies. I'm currently living in a share house in Wollongong and I am hoping to move to a suburb in Sydney that's close to public transport or within an hour drive of the airport. I'm pretty social and I'm a pretty relaxed housemate. Hoping to live with some other young people who love delish food.
We are both friendly and love cheese, wine and socialising. I am in Digital Marketing and Craig is a Mechanical Engineer. We chill through the week after work and like to go out and explore Sydney on the weekend. We are both active and love yoga, being at the beach and hiking.
As a student studying education I'm ethically driven and provide great dinner time conversation. I work in retail to subsidise my love for wine. I'm tidy and a generally good quality human being to live with! I also have a beautiful kitty named leia who gets along with everyone
Hi, I'm Anna, 30 year old french girl. I think (not so sure of myself :p) I'm a nice person not so hard to live with ;). I'm looking for a private room in a place to share, preferably mixed or with girls only, but not men only, I'd like to find a flat/house with 3 or more people. I'm available now. I like to sympathize and socialize but I also know that respecting privacy and intimacy are important in a shared accomodation. I'm on working holiday visa, but honestly, I don't know how much time I will stay, could be 1, 2 or even 6 months... so I can't commit on long stays for sure.
Working full time 9-5 Mon-Fri in IT in the city. Quiet, clean and respectful. I'm friendly and open for chats but will mostly be doing my own thing and will let you do yours. French background.
I'm Kira :) 23yrs old & working full time in the beauty/skin industry. Im a very friendly, bubbly, clean/tidy person. Not much of a party animal (if I do its out of the house) and I don't mind a glass of wine here and there. I do love my own space but always up for a chat :) **Own room & unfurnished**
Hi new housemates! My name is Charli and I'm clean, respectful and have pretty decent banter. I work as an office manager for a HR company in the city and I'm former hairdresser by trade. My best friends are LGBT+, and I have them over for civilised dinner and drinks once or twice a month, I scour gin bars and love a good brunch. As much as I love the area I live in at the moment (Surry Hills) I would like to find (1-2 preferably) housemates , who are much more like myself. Clean, moderately sociable and considerate. People who have fun but don’t bring it home! This is my biggest problem at the moment - I work long hours so like to come home to a haven, if you will. Needing spacious, furnished (with double bed + wardrobe of some sort) room with a window! I would not mind moving away from Surry Hills and also interesting in signing a year lease. Balmain, Randwick, Alexandria, Kensington Coogee, etc. if we're on the same page please contact me!
Hello! I am Meesh, 27 years old and trained well im share house living. I enjoy being outdoors, checking out new bars and restaurants and cooking up the occasional feed at home. I'm respectful and considerate and always up for some friendly banter. I'd love to find somewhere that has real homely and friendly vibes. I'm a chef, so I'm out a fair bit, but always keen to grab a feed and a beer if schedules permit and i can also answer any cookery and food related questions should google not be suffice. I'd also like somewhere to grow some herbs etc. So if that works with you, we could potentially be plant buddies. I am not a passive aggressive post it note bandit and hope that you aren't either I'm terrible at about mes but i look forward to hearing from you! Cheers guys!
Hello! I'm looking for a place to live in Surry Hills / Waterloo / Redfern and surrounding areas. A little bit about me… I enjoy eating out, cooking (I’ve been told my brownies are pretty tasty) as well as keeping fit - either down the gym, yoga or a run along the coast. I also love going to events, gigs, and festivals and am looking forward to seeing what Australia has to offer. I work at a PR agency in Surry Hills, which usually lends itself to some freebies (fingers crossed). I already have some friends in Sydney but also looking to meet new, likeminded people. Am looking to find a place to call home in a friendly flat share, where I can socialise over a glass of wine / beer of an evening with flatmates. If there is anything else you want to know please get in touch. Hayley
I am a full time professional working 9-5 in the city. I am friendly, relaxed, respectful and clean and I am looking to live with someone with similar qualities. I am currently living in a shared house. One of my flatmates is moving in with her boyfriend and the other is moving to Canberra for work so I would be looking to move in at the end of January, as our lease ends on 2nd February. I moved to Sydney 6 years ago from the UK to study, firstly on exchange as part of my undergrad and then to do my Masters in Law, though I’ve pretty much been working full time for the last 3 years. I’ve been living in share houses for 4 years, and in uni accommodation for 3 years before that so I am very accustomed to shared living. I am definitely not a party animal, but I am social. I usually spend my weekends with friends, at the beach, or on day trips. I have a lot of furniture and many appliances, including a washing machine, fridge, couch, dining table, 4 dining chairs, coffee table, patio/balcony furniture, TV stand, BBQ and miscellaneous kitchen stuff. That being said, I would be open to buying new furniture or selling my existing furniture so that the place looks nice and feels ‘homey'. I also have a car, so a spot would be great, but I also do not mind street parking. Send me a message if you think that we would get along and we can meet for a coffee (or wine!) Lauren xx PS - I am flexible on price PPS - I would be very keen on a place with an indoor pool / gym etc if possible
