My names James... Or Jimmy! I'm 31 yrs old, work full time in the transport industry- Most days i spend 10-12hrs driving a truck... Most mornings I'm leaving home in the dark, then return whilst the sun goes down 🌥 My family/friends would describe me as pretty easy going, down to earth guy with a great sense of humour. In my spare time i like to get out & catch up with friends, otherwise I'll happily lay low at home. Enjoy having the occasional drink, although I'm hardly ever drunk 🍺 I have a 4yr old Maltese Shih-Tzu that shadows me wherever I go, so currently on the search for someone who's easy to live with, also pet friendly 😎 She loves playing with other dogs (or neighbouring cats), also well trained inside & out. I'd prefer to houseshare with a female, as they've always seemed more clean & tidy, which helps me maintain a good lifestyle.
I work Monday to Saturday 6.30am to 4.30pm, like to chill with Netflix or FIFA in the evenings, I cook, pretty healthy during the week, weekend comes and you probably won't see me unless I'm just at home vegging out on the couch. Interests include, sports, techno, cooking, adventure holidays, music festivals, tv series junkie.. I really like to keep a clean house, nothing OTT but clean kitchen and bathrooms are a must. Also I've been in Australia since 2011, (Irish) have a car(so parking is important, I also have a trailer(if there was room for that would be great but not super important) Anything else you wanna know just ask..
Hola ! I am a recent graduate from Adelaide Uni, moving to Melbourne for a new engineering role. I am friendly, outgoing, clean and tidy. In addition to that, I enjoy TV Shows, movie nights, soccer and a cold one with the boys :) Would love to share a house with someone who is of the same age group, outgoing and enjoys a good banter
I'm studying Allied health, to help me get into Nursing. I'm very neat, and reliable. I like to spend time with friends and my partner in my free time. I also love to cook, and try new things. I love reading and some sports. I'm always on time with my bills/rent, I'm quite shy at first, but I tend to open up quite easily.
I am a friendly and social person. I am from Sri Lanka. I pay bills on time and get along with everyone. I am clean and tidy and am willing to help with household chores. Hi! I am helping my partner to look for a new place where he can stay. He just got a job at old Geelong road and wanted to look for a place closer to his work. He is very responsible guy, tidy and fun to be with. He values family and respect for individuals. During his day offs he sleeps and tidy up. Low maintenance person but very clean when it comes to stuff.
Young professional with a relaxed kiwi vibe. Now working fulltime in Altona, Melbourne and looking for a long-term place to stay. I'm tidy and a great cook (I like a tidy kitchen). Not too much of a party animal though I do enjoy a dram of whiskey. I'm also a keen beer and kombucha brewer.
100% a people person, confident with meeting new people, enjoys going out most weekends and being very social, very respectful of others. Played soccer for 10 years, as well as swimming for the same, will happily stay home playing games just as much as going out clubbing or meeting mates.
I have lived in a share house environment for the last years whilst at university. I am clean and tidy and respect others space. Hi there. I am 33 year old girl looking for teaming up/sharing a house. I'd prefer inner subborbs, maybe closer to airport but not a condition as I have a car. I like to think i'm a fun and nice person. Love to have clean place, cooking, listening to music... Moving date asap . Contact me for more details. :)
Hey there! We are a happy, positive and kind couple. Always cleaning and smiling. I am an occupational therapy student, working part time as a barista and swim instructor. And my partner works full time as a prison transport officer. We are currently renting in Norlane, Geelong. Looking to move closer to work and university. We have a dog and cat who are very friendly and clean. They are a part of our package.
Im easy going and down to earth, very open and honest and keep to myself. Very neat and tidy. I work part time doing domestic and industrial cleaning and just wanting to work and save money. Im very easy to talk to so if there was any concern u would be able to address it easily. I respect everybody's lifestyle and privacy. Just wanting a little place to call my own.
Hi there, I am a friendly, mature lass looking for a room in a house or flat. I love animals to distraction but don't have any pets. I am tidy without being obsessive, chatty without chewing your ear off, an all-round team-player kind of character.
Hi my name's Natasha. I'm a 24 year old female from England looking for a friendly, sociable flat or house share in suburbs close (ish) to the city. I am very easy going and easy to talk to! I have been in Australia (mainly Melbourne) for almost 2 years working and travelling and I am now looking to find a house share with a good work/life balance closer to the city than where I have previously lived as I do like to have fun! I am very respectful and try to share as much as possible with whoever I live with. Clean, tidy and always willing to pull my weight around the house! Just looking for a relaxing place to stay with good people who like to socialise with their flatmates :) :)
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. Turned 30 this year and looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and relocate to Melbourne. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. Completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socializing with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself. Not a precious princess about things and am really adverse to passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside if you're not, as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a huge party animal, though I do enjoy occasionally having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking / having a friend round when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always easier for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move ASAP soon as I find something. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
Outgoing but quiet and respectful. I have a fulltime career (electrician) and need a place to share after a recent divorce. Hobbies are music and playing guitar.
I'm a nurse working full time and looking to relocate to the areas named due to my job location. I'm looking to do a sharehouse with a easy going trustworthy housemate who also works full time and is reliable with bills. Im the kind of person that likes to have my own space majority of the time however I am very easy going and sociable also. Im also looking for a room that has its own ensuite
Hey all! Looking for a place to stay as I have relocated to Melbourne for work. Very house trained. I find cleaning up therapeutic. Will respect everyone's space but just as keen for a chat and a bit of banter. Am a very active individual; gym and spending my weekends away surfing. Looking for a place with good company in the Melbourne west for easy commute to work. I am a 'more home than just a house' type of person. Also am a physiotherapist so you may end up a guinea pig at some point :D
Hey people I just moved from Brisbane to Melbourne to live with a friend an his family temporarily whilst I got myself on my feet. I currently work 6 days a week at Melbourne Liquor DC in Laverton North hence why I'm interested in living closer to that area also working a few days doing carpentry with a friend. I'm chill as and don't mind having a few drinks or whatever the go is with you and your mates. Easy as to get a long with and don't mind living with a girl or guy or whatever your preference may be. Since the lease runs out in November where I'm staying it's best for me to move out. Keen on a teamup as they call it on here or just a room. I'm pretty private don't get annoying at all lol and easy to get along with so it won't ever be awkward. 👌
Hey potential flat mates im looking for another couple of people who want to start a lease together. Im hoping to make our house into a home together. Not a party house but a social house where we will also get our own time to ourselves. I work full time as a forklift driver during the week and go to the gym. Im very clean and tidy. Ive travelled a bit and will be travelling more in the future and also like to go camping. I like going to the pub and live gigs. I have a male desexed staffy that is very friendly and very well socialized. His lived with other dogs all his life. Preferably looking for people who work full time
I like to think I'd be pretty easy to live with, I like to keep to my self most of the time but I can be very social and friendly, I do not smoke cigarettes and don't have any issues with those who do, I'm a social drinker/dont drink too often, most of the time after work I settle for a coffee and that usually keeps me happy for the rest of the night haha. I work in Landscape Construction full time, have been for a few years now so Tradie by day, and I like to jump on my PC or Xbox and play a few games, Play the guitar or just watch movies and series for the rest of the night haha. I'm pretty clean, I make an active effort to do my best and keep things tidy, Clutter makes me grumpy so I usually don't let it get out of hand. I'm looking for a house that can accommodate myself and have space for my partner to visit. My partner would only be over on weekends as she is studying and not able to move with me but would still be happy to chip in for any food or utilities she may use. Been living at home until now, this will be the first time moving out of home, and I want to keep living costs at a minimum to maximise saving for holidays and a future home :)
I'm super friendly, but happy to have time alone. Will be working a fair bit of the time. Like and strive to be neat and organized, basically a masterchef, love hanging out, open to outdoors activities and having a casual drink, great with dogs. Being on the lease is ideal, looking to pay max $200 for a room bills included and preferably furnished. 6 months minimum stay, longer lease preferred.

Moving to Melbourne from Perth due to a job offer late September 2017. Haven't lived in a shared house for 25 years (excluding living with my own son). Would like to live with someone who has maturity, intelligence, sense of humour and has had life experiences Not really fussed about the suburb that I will be living in as I will be doing contract work as a Land Surveyor and will be working in a different part of the city every day. However probably the Western or Northern suburbs would suit me best. Will occasionally work from home a day or two a week. At my age the party animal has well and truely dissipated . So I won't have any noisy social habits that will interrupt your peace. However given that I am new to Melbourne with few social contacts it would be nice to share a house with a sociable person.
