I have recently emigrated to Australia from South Africa. I am a Electrical Engineer and I work in North Sydney. I am a firm follower of "clean as you go", that way things don't build up and become a chore. I am out-going and sociable. I like playing PC games, socializing and doing stuff with friends, and I am a big fan of the outdoors. I am a relaxed, fun to be around and easy going guy :) Im looking for a private room in house/flat share with bills and internet included, must be within 1km of a train station and must have a washing machine for ~$300 per week, furnished or unfurnished, and must be large enough to accommodate a Queen bed and desk. Hope to hear from you :)
Hi I'm a Chinese, came to Sydney about 8 years ago to do a degree and stayed on ( fall in love ) with this city since then. I now work full time in North Sydney in telco business. I've been sharing with my family friends and uni friends so I know the deal. No smoke no pet no home party, keep the common area clean after use. Mutual respect. I am very tired of commuting (crossing the harbour bridge/tunnel during peak hours and paying for tolls) so I am looking for some where close to work. Most of the weekdays, I live a routine life. On weekends, I like catching up with friends for a coffee or a drink, doing some shopping or playing some tennis. I am also learning Japanese at the moment. If I am not in a high mood (too hot, too cold or too windy outside), I would just stay in PJ, make myself some comfort food and stream a movie alone. I get along with most of people as I am just like most of people-- I work, go out, enjoy good food and wine, love movie and sports; get motivated by both beautiful handbags ads and inspiring people's stories, struggle between a delicious cake and fitness, sometimes gossip, but honk at dangerous overtakings every single time (still a p plater) I am trying to be a minimalist, with a cool mind and warm heart. If the above looks not too bad, send me a message. I can move in late Nov or early Dec.
I'm a PhD student from the North Shore studying at Macquarie University. I'm fairly easy to get a long with as I'm pretty relaxed about most thing. I'm very diligent about cleaning after myself and will to help out around the house.
Hi I am a considerate quiet flatmate who is very respectful of living space. I have a pet cat who is both indoor and outdoor so you would have to be ok with that. I like movies and beach on weekends. I am at the gym a few nights a week but mostly at home week nights. I am a teacher and am home some school holidays. Clean and tidy and you would hopefully be like minded. I am looking for ground floor with courtyard or similar half house / duplex . Would like an undercover car space and own bathroom where possible. I know asking for a lot !!!
Hi there, I am working full time Monday to Friday north side of Sydney. Friendly and tidy, enjoy to socialise with flatmates but the same time do not mind my own space. Fairly active 2-3 times a week at the gym or running. Usually catch up with friends over the weekend. Looking to share an apartment with someone who is clean, respectful and easy to get along with.
Easy going. Super clean. Sporty. Enjoy a friday afternoon drink. Good conversationalist. Respectful of privacy and space. Reliable - pay rent on time every time. Good rental history. Respectful of all backgrounds and ethnicities. Easy to live with :) Love mountain biking. spear fishing. gym. watching the footy. Chilling out!
Iain, 29, British. Here working as a bricklayer. Just been sponsored by my firm so looking to spend the next couple of years at least out here in Australia.
I'm a fun-loving, but reasonably quiet young professional (female) that's moved to Sydney from New Zealand. I work in consulting. Of Indian origin, I've grown up/lived in NZ for the past 16 years (for those who like to know this sort of info!!). I love to explore, learn (proud geek!), love food - eating and cooking, keen to know about different cultures. Honest, fun, outgoing, easy to get along with, clean & tidy and I know that rent and bills need to be paid on time! :) While I am not a party animal, I love to get out. Certainly not the 'always in my room' kind of person, but I do enjoy quiet time as I will be working from home on occasion! I have a mature outlook on life, can get a bit philosophical (!!), can chat about most topics, enjoy healthy discussion, but definitely respect others' views and privacy. Happy to kickback with TV or a book or just music and a chat! I intend to make Sydney my home for the foreseeable future. Keen to find like-minded people who are welcoming, friendly and keen to meet someone new!
I'm a HR/Training professional working full time in North Ryde and a Pilot for an aerial advertising company on the weekends. I like to keep fit and healthy and I'm always busy! I love good food, wine & beer and am equally happy socialising or doing my own thing. I'm clean, reliable and friendly and like to have similar people around me.
Hi there, I’ve recently found a new job as a project consultant in Lane Cove and am in increasing need of a new place to match, with a move from Melbourne to Sydney being problematic without one. Preferably I’d be looking to live within a reasonable distance of work, haven’t thought far beyond that at the moment. I’m a very relaxed person and don’t stress or rush over many things, not too worried about housemates having a similar outlook, I’m sure everything will be manageable. On occasion I’m fairly quiet, other times I’m a little loud but mostly I’ll fall in the middle. Prefer things clean and tidy and I'm sociable while being respectful of others privacy. Would prefer something longer term rather than shorter and I’m open to teaming up. If all sounds good feel free to drop me a message. James
Hi, I enjoy talking and sharing experiences. Some friends told me that I'm a good cooker (especially Peruvian food) and also a clean and tidy housemate. I'm looking forward to meeting great people to share a flat or a house.
Hi, I will be moving to Sydney from Brisbane in January 2017 for work. I have run my own share house in Brisbane for the last 6 years so I completely understand the consideration and respect required when sharing a house. I also have two pets, an indoor cat and a 5 year old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy, so I will be looking for a place with a yard (can be small) and that will allow my dog to be inside when I am home (I am willing to pay a pet bond if required). I am happy to team up with anyone else looking to rent a place as I already have all furniture and utensils necessary. In the case of finding a room in an existing share house I will have all my own bedroom furniture (and can bring other things if needed). I would prefer to have my own bathroom but can be flexible on that in the right share house. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would be interested in having me and my beautiful pets as roomies :-).
I believe i'm very easy going and respectful of other people. I enjoy a healthy active lifestyle, travelling, cooking and spending time catching up with friends and family. I work as a designer, so i love anything creative also.
I am a 27 year old Australian PhD student who loves travelling, music, reading, and socialising! I love meeting new people but also enjoy alone time. I am considerate and clean, and am looking for a nice relaxed person to share an apartment/house with. I play guitar and ukulele, and am studying music and language psychology. - I am currently living in Canada, and will move back to Australia on the 2nd November. I am hoping to move into a new place shortly afterwards, so will ideally view houses on the 2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th November.
Hey there! Liv here! I'm in my final year of studying nursing all while working full time in a CBD hotel in Guest Services. I consider myself to be pretty easy going (originally a Coastie), clean and enjoy playing a part in the household. Due to my study/work schedule my down time involves me either studying, watching American Horror Story or Kath & Kim repeats, enjoying some good ol brie and sav blanc. Im looking at moving elsewhere as I am after somewhere a tad more modern than my beautiful federation house in Balmain. Let me know if your interested xo Liv
Hi everyone, I'm reliable, quiet as a rule, clean and respectful of others. Up for a laugh, and realise there's a time and place for everything. I'm fit and generally active, non smoker and light/often non drinker. Love animals (if you've got one or some) but don't have any of my own. I'm self employed as a handyman around lane cove area and also studying architecture online, this keeps me busy enough atm. Think that's all! Cheers Michael
Well I'm your average working professional. From Singapore, lived in Brisbane but now moving to Sydney because of a good offer. I'm near, easy going, clean, mind my own business kinda guy, can cook and generally willing to chill out with flatmates or landlords for dinner, tea or a couple of drinks. I work long hours so the most probable times you'd see me is on the weekends when I'm chillin' watching my favourite dramas. :)
Hi everyone! We are looking for a new place to call home until about February. We're very easygoing and friendly, both in our early 20s. We're not really party people to be honest, we like to have a chat, having a beer and listening to good music. We love movies, tv shows and music. We like to cook and bake and Isa does it quite often. Lucas surfs and is very into music and playing the guitar. We were hoping to find a place near the ocean to enjoy the summer, but of course, anywhere is fine if we have nice and friendly people around. Please don't hesitate to send us a message if you think we'd be a good match. By the way, we need to find a place to move in around the 30th of October, but the sooner the better! Thanks (:
Hey future flatmates! Originally from Newcastle, travelled all over Aus growing up. I am an easy going person, who enjoys a healthy and active lifestyle. I very much enjoy my own space and downtime and equally love to socialise and meet new people. I am currently looking for a short term (3month) rent/house stay in Sydney, preferably the North Sydney area, but am open to other options. Relocating to Sydney for a work placement for 3 months, beginning Oct 31st. I'm also still studying to finish my Uni degree. Fun for me comes in all different forms, from reading a book or watching a movie to getting outdoors and exploring, discovering new places/people. - Non-smoker - Clean and tidy - Female
My name is Lucas, I'm 32 and in hotel management. I am easy going, laid back and Independant. I love good food, beer and wine. I play sports and love watching most sports. Ive lived with others for the last 10 or so years, so im well trained in shared living. I love some good banter and im a social person, however i can respect peoples boundaries and quiet time .
Hi I work in Advertising and moving back to Sydney to work - I have a great sense of humour am a great conversationalist but respect "me time", will only be at home 4 to 5 nights per week and rarely on weekends. I am a trained barista, enjoy cooking, enthusiastic amateur cocktail bartender and have a passion for design. I believe in personal responsibility and have never had a criminal record - I am mature, reliable yet fun.
I'm a Sydney girl from birth. I have 4 jobs - my main job is in retail, I also nanny for 2 families and am a singing teacher. I am a pretty decent cook and can't deal with a messy kitchen. I am very respectful of other peoples' belongings and their need for privacy. I love a chat and a cheeky drink or 3. I am very straight forward and open-minded. I strongly believe in the importance of good communication. I won't let you leave the house with food in your teeth. I love to sing and am something of a karaoke queen. I have been known to jump up and join in with bands at pubs and duet with buskers on the street. I also love being in the water. There are few feelings better than the moment when you dive underwater and first come up for air; best way to clear your head. My make up skills are kind of a big deal, but I don't wear it every day. If you want to know anything else, just ask.
Happy go lucky, clean, respectful. Working full time, going to the gym, swimming and spending most weekends at my girlfriends house means I am not home a whole lot! Happy for a chat and a bevvie or two but also respectful of quiet time. Looking for an oasis more than a party house. Would prefer to share with one person only and would love a private bathroom if available.
I'm a network engineer working full-time MtoF. Not a fan of the kitchen. Huge fan of AS Roma football club. Love to watch football matches together. I'll bring my PlayStation4, then we can play together :D

I love cooking (healthy food), watching movies if I find any spare time. Sport is an essential thing in my life.
I'm tidy, mature, have owned an apartment before so know how to treat a home and how to keep it tidy. I work Monday to Friday at milsons point and go to the gym in the cbd so I will need a place that is only a short train ride or walk away. I also want to move in somewhere that's a little social cause I'd like to make some friends and do stuff during the weekends like head to the beach or try a new restaurant/bar or hike or whatever. If there are housemates that also want this- that's a bonus!
Hi There, My names Alex. I am English / Australian but have grown up overseas due to parent's work. I moved to Australia when I was 18, and have not looked back. I am currently working full-time in a marketing department in Macquarie Park. Enjoy my work and keep a pretty standard schedule with it during the week, 8:30 - 5:00. Outside of work, I like to stay active playing soccer and touch / oz tag (used to play rugby but stopped due to injury). I am also trying to get back into mountain biking which used to be a pass time of mine. Socially, I like spending time with mates, hanging out and having a laugh. Looking for a social house where I can meet some new people. Would not consider myself a party person but can get convinced to go out to the clubs and have a dance and a drink every now and again (but would much prefer hanging out at the pub). Generally speaking I look to keep my living space clean and am happy to help out around house (gardening can be strangely therapeutic). I enjoy cooking (especially desserts), and spending time at home watching TV or playing some PS4. Looking to move in somewhere late October. Cheers, Alex
Hi, I'm a clean, respectful and easy to get along with professional working in Chatswood, and looking to live somewhere close. Aside from work, I study for my LLM (masters in law), I go to the gym very regularly, and I spend weekends at the beach or catching up with friends. If you'd like to know anything else, please ask!
Student looking for a share house/apartment from February 2017 (I've created an account early to see what's available) which is easily accessible to public transport. I am coming up to my last year of uni and looking to move out from my current apartment into a new living environment (currently sharing an apartment with my sister). I am very social and would love to get to know my roommates over some drinks and a good meal. Very capable of cleaning up after myself and happy to keep shared areas tidy so that everyone can enjoy the space. I love watching films, going out for food & drinks, trying new things, and always up for a cheeky dance or karaoke sesh.
I am open and communicative man with good manners and tidy habits. The major part of the day I am spending on work outside the flat. Afternoons and nights, if I'm not outside, I will probably spend reading books and listening to music. The next period until the arrival of my family (July/August 2017) I would like to share flat expenses with a flatmate with whom I can achieve good communication. During daytime over some weekend I wish if there are a possibility to host my friends (everything would be previously agreed).
I am studying at Macquarie Uni and working part-time. I am looking to rent from the end of December 2016 and I want to find flatmates by that time. I am a friendly and sociable person and I respect other people's privacy too. I am ready too some necessary cleaning too. Non-smoker, no pets. I will be out working or studying most of the time, but while at home I will be happy to chat, watch series have a couple of drinks during the weekend etc. I don't have any special requirements and I'm just looking for flatmates who are friendly and responsible (no crazy parties too often, no drugs or something like that, pay on time etc.).
I am a 23 year old, soon to be law graduate from Newcastle. I'm moving to Sydney for full time work as of the start of November in Macquarie. I am clean, respectful and sociable (whilst appreciating the need for privacy). I have been living in a shared apartment for 2 years and am looking for a place with like minded individuals!
I'm a 20 y.o. part time working student looking for a room! My lease is going up in December and would love to find some great roommates to share a place with. I'm relaxed, outgoing and quite a homebody! I like to keep my space neat and be considerate to those who live around me. Keen to find the right place for me to live whilst I study and work!
I have recently taken a full time position in Chatswood and currently reside on the central coast. I love the beach and dancing, I hope to find an adult dance school close by. I don't cook much so not much mess. I have a small dog, she will be at work with me during the week. I am a quiet person due to my work schedule but do enjoy socialising on the weekends. I am 31 so my party days are behind me with the exception of special occasions. Would like to live with similarly minded people (quiet through the week, social on weekends without the massive partying).
Hi everyone, I am a final year law/psychology student who is currently studying full-time in Canberra. I will be moving to Sydney in December for further studies, so I am hoping to find a place to move in Dec. I am a friendly person but at the same time, I respect other people's privacy as well. Most importantly I am also clean and tidy. I don't party - I spend most of my time studying, eating and sleeping, so there will not be any issue with noise. I have been renting in Sydney and Canberra since 2009 so I understand what it means to be a good housemate - to be courteous, flexible, considerate and respectful of other housemates and of course to pay my rentals on time.
Work in professional field based at North Sydney. I am neat and tidy, I work long hours and sometimes i work in interstate. Grew up at Central Coast and family still living over there, sometime will spend my weekend over at my family's house. When I'm home I like to tidy the house and keep the place looking great as always, or wonder in the kitchen preparing food for the week. Or else I will be spending time out and about trying out new cafe/restaurant due to I'm a big foodie.

Hi! I'm a 32 years old brazilian working and studying in Sydney. I'm a veterinarian and work mostly overnights as an emergency vet nurse (so a dark and quiet place to sleep during the day is a must). Hi my name's Danielle, I am currently living in Melbourne and work as a skin consultant for a cosmeceutical company. I am originally from Newcastle and moved to Melbourne about 3 and a half years ago. As much as I love it here an awesome job opportunity has come up in Mosman and I've decided to move on back to NSW! Plus being closer to family is a massive bonus! I'm looking for a cool banana (or bananas haha) to live with! I am respectful, clean and tidy, easy to get a long with and love making new friends. As much as I enjoy socialising I do also love a bit of quiet time as well and I understand that in a share house there needs to be a level of both:) I always pay rent and bills on time (my current housemates can vouch for me) I have been living with them for 3 cruisey years and would love to stay but Sydney is calling my name! xxx
I work in city (full time) in IT sector. been living in Ashfield since I moved to OZ-land. Why am I moving: I am sharing an apartment with a girl in Ashfield. Knowing how ignorant I am about a lot of things i never got my name on Lease and now after two years I am realizing how stupid i have been all along. My boyfriend will be moving to Australia somewhere in March-April and i want to have at least 6 months of rental history on my name before he arrives and I think its time for me to explore more areas and get out of Ashfield. I am reasonably clean person and have a bit of sensitive nose so ensure where i live smells nice. Besides my work, i like to be involved in physical activities (read rock climbing, gym, pole) and be happy to team up if you are ever up for any of that. (P.s. you might catch me casually hanging upside down on a pole or struggling with splits, in situations like that I urge not to freak out). Try to cook and easy on sharing food. Don't mind sharing a glass or 6 of wine over weekend while binging on obscure titles or random youtube. Got some stuff with me; LED TV, legacy Xbox, microwave; will be buying some new room furniture.. probably for lounge as well if we agree. Reliable with rent and bills.. and don't cook up explosives in backyard (in case if that's what you are scared of). Atheist Pakistani by birth btw (I know rare combination). Appreciate communication and big on privacy while open to friendly banter.
I'm currently studying to be a makeup artist. I'm a positive person who is happy to socialise with my roommate(s) but also like to have my own space. I am tidy and always do my part with the household chores.
I am a single professional looking for secure granny flat/unit or house share. Recently returned from four years in the UK and have just started a new in the North Shore area. Can be a bit of a neat freak but otherwise pretty easy going.

I am a professional Structural Engineer starting a St. Leonard based consultancy from 26th of September. I am 29, Looking for a share house with fun loving and tidy people. I would prefer an off-street parking, a built-in wardrobe and some furniture in the room, but happy to get more furniture later on for the house if required. I am a less kitchen user, occasionally have friends visiting me, pretty routine week days, movies or chatting over a drink..Pretty easy going I would say. Don't hesitate to give me a buzz if that sound's like you.
I work full time in social media for Red Rooster and Oporto (unofficial title: dank meme master). I like wine and dogs (though I don't have one). I love to bake and cook. I am reliable and clean. Yeah, I'm not very good at talking about myself...
