Hey all. 52 year old Aussie well educated bloke - been on the Goldie for 3 years - ex Tassie lad... Currently happily single and NOT looking to change that. Absolute pet lover of all kinds (ok - maybe not birds so much.....) but do not have any of my own on the GC. Long term (19 year) Mon-Fri professional job so excellent payer. Happy to pay more/less than I have indicated but had to put something down :-) Been living by myself for the last year and a bit and have come to realise that can get very quiet at home at times so thinking sharing would mean a bit of "noise" around the place from time to time. Looking for longer term and wanting a place/someone similar wanting to create/already be a "household" that we are all part of. More than happy to "team up" and start a place if that's your thing - just ask. Even if its the view of getting a much larger place and then getting more in to share that cost. Open to most anything. Happy to go on lease if need be if you don't own - you wont have any issues with me being approved. Ideal situation would involve owner however. Location could be anywhere within reason - I had to put some locations down for this profile. I work out of one of our Southport offices and would really prefer somewhere in the Broady/Carrara/Ashmore/Main Beach square (if you drew it on a map if anyone even has maps anymore!) - currently living the Chevron lifestyle and LOVE that. Love to get out walking/running/riding (not the lycra wearing sort - trust me!!) to explore this wonderful place we have here. Mean board game player and love a hand of cards. And apparently I like writing VERY long profiles ............(sigh!) Don't smoke and goes without saying that I don't do drugs but do enjoy a weekend wine/brew but in moderation nowadays. Never have to worry about visitors or sleepovers with me. I'm an early to rise, early to bed person - would be great if household was somewhat similar (M-F at least) but am also realistic. VERY handy around the house if that would be a help at all - building/plumbing/gardening (have built 2 houses in Tassie) etc. Have own furniture in my current 1 br unit - however not attached to any of it really so flexible and have a place to store if need be. Also happy to buy more if your into a team up and want to start a new place and don't have any. Would like to live with someone/people who don't mind the occasional chat and/or wine/meal whilst understanding we all need our "own" time. So basically a friendly house. Male or female makes no difference to me however I would imagine people around my own age might make more sense although I can get on with anyone. Sorry but the only real deal breaker for me is not having somewhere to park off the street ... undercover not required. So if your looking for someone to share the cost of living, with no ulterior motives, and wants the house to be a household where everyone gets on and contributes then I'm your guy. Date listed is about when my current lease is up but for the right place/fit/people could always look at trying to break that for something earlier.
Hi! I study at Griffith and I'm looking to move a little closer to Uni. I am friendly, tidy, always up for a chat and a cheeky glass of wine, but know the value of privacy. Feel free to chuck me a message -- I look forward to hearing from you :)
Looking for a private room close to Griffth (Gold Coast) University, better if a room with ensuite. A full-time Ph.D. student, Christian, Colombian. A clean and tidy person, like my own space but happy to have a drink or chat. I will like to know more about Australian and English culture, but also to have my own and quiet place. I am not a fitness person but I do enjoy diverse outdoor activities, also Netflix or TV programs. I do not mind pets, Non-smoker, I tolerate occasional visitors. I collaborate to clean but I will not do it all by myself. I will respect your space, time and things.
I am a very relaxed, fun, outgoing girl who moved to the GC from central QLD for university. I study full time and work on most of my days off. I love animals, being a social butterfly and making new friends! I am a very neat, tidy, mature person who would like to live with like minded people. I do a bit of cooking and like to keep the space around me clean, within reason! I'm looking to live with other students who enjoy quiet nights at home watching movies, to going out occasionally for a few drinks and adventure. I'd love to live with people who can have a fun time while still respecting the quiet times! Please get in touch! :)
Studying Health Science at Griffith University, work part time at Max Brenner. Respectful of personal space, organised, clean and tidy. Enjoy cheerleading (Griffith uni and Zoo athletics), food (finding cute cafes, Insta worthy food pics), shopping (online most of the time) and sleep (not a big morning person). I do have a car so require parking of some sort. Feel free to message me :)
Hey there I’m a young man looking for temporary place till I get suitable work, I’m quiet and don’t have much stuff or any pets. I don’t really party or play loud music so if you go to bed early and get up early I won’t mess with your sleep. I like to keep things tidy, but I’m not a neat freak. I’m not amazing at small talk, but appreciate deeper more meaningful conversations and a good laugh. Thanks for any reasonable considerations and have a good day. Cheers- Jesse
Hi my name is Alexis I am a fulltime student studying at Griffith looking to find a place around October would love to find some cool people who wouldn't mind me having some friends over every once in a while but also someone who I can chill with and just relax at home and watch TV and just have a chat with. I don’t mind if you want to have people over. I am a bubbly person who loves to chat but also loves my privacy. I’m also pretty open to any gender living in the house. A wine, movies and Lots of junk food is probably my favorite thing to do.
I am a single 29 year old female that works full time. I am looking for a room in a house that will allow my beautiful dog Milan to accompany me. She is very well trained and is used to being an inside dog so that is prefered if possible... mostly at night. She is a staffy x mastiff and is super friendly and great with other pets. I am very outgoing and love a chat but I also love my own space. I am looking to move in asap if possible. I am very reliable and have been in my job for over 5 years. I have been struggling to find accomodation due to my pup. I would love to start a new share house as well if anyone is looking! Please give me a call or text if you have anything available 😁
Hello people, I’m looking for a relaxed/clean/positive environment to call my home. I have loads of cool stories to share, I always clean up after myself (and others sometimes, I prefer a clean space) and I’m super super chilled about pretty much everything. My roommates are really important to me so if you're positive, driven and openminded then I'd love to combine forces with you. I'm from Zimbabwe but have grown up in Australia, I love broadening my horizons and the horizons of those around me. I like to stay healthy and be my best self while encouraging others to do the same. If you can picture this going down well then please don't hesitate to reach out to me. ps. I have received messages from some pretty rad people but I do apologise for not getting back to everyone, I have heaps going on right now so please bare with me and I will for sure contact you for an appropriate viewing time if I am interested in your place. I will be actively looking closer to the second week of October and will be in touch then if I am interested x
I never know what to say here. But I'm clean and tidy, i pay my bills on time & I'm honest, polite and respectful. Needing somewhere asap! Obviously cheaper is better, being on dsp i can't afford heaps, and close to public transport is a big one too. My ideal flatmates are friendly, easy to communicate with and arent too straight laced. I am attached, so please no seedy old guys need reply.
I’m a bubbly nature and love to be free spirited at times. I’m pretty laid back on cleaning, Not OCD but I can’t live in a mess. I enjoy the occasional drink or gathering but not every night of the week as I will be busy with work and studying (no drugs). I like to get outdoors and explore for which I hope to find the same qualities in a roomie. 😃
Clean, tidy, quiet, single male, no pets or children, non-smoker. Employed full time as a lab technician at Griffith University (Gold Coast campus) for the past 15 years so looking for somewhere in that area. Short term stay - looking to rent up until 25th Nov 2018. PLEASE NOTE: My moving date may not be accurate (I had to put something to create listing) as I am currently in a break lease situation and can't move out until new tenants have moved in. However, I anticipate this shouldn't take long as it is a large house in Molendinar and houses on the Gold Coast are in high demand.
I am a future PhD candidate at Griffith University, moving to the Gold Coast from Germany in October (looking to rent from around 12th October which is when I will arrive). I have spend about two years in Australia previously and look forward to finding great people to live with again. I am quiet, tidy, cheerful and do not smoke nor drink. I am quite active, love travelling, sports (soccer, karate), reading and photography. I will probably spend most of my time at uni and will not be home much during the day. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get on touch. :-)
Hi, I am a bubbly and positive person who loves to laugh. I have am seeking 2 rooms for me and my daughter who is 13. I take extreme pride in my home and like to ensure is kept in immaculate condition inside and out. I am easy to get along with and considerate of others. I do not party or drink. I understand the importance of respect and privacy when living with others. I am very outgoing, love to laugh and always have a positive attitude. I understand that having a child may be off putting to some however I can gurantee she is an angel. She is a very well behaved child with great manners and shares my morals and values. She is a quiet girl who can easily entertain her self. She is not home most weekends but when she is you would not even realise she is there. She is very tidy and considerate of others like my self. We do have a black fluffy cat who is fully house trained. She is spends her time outside during the day. My daughter and cat share an incredible bond so we must be able to bring her with us.
