Hello! I'm Todd from the UK. Looking for some similarly ages housemates to move in with or move into an already established shared place. I'm a hairdresser, but I also enjoy a tonne of different things beside that! I'm a lovely, sociable, and creative being!
Hello future housemates, My name is Caity, I'm 23 and I'm from Adelaide. But for the past two years I've been living abroad in Manchester in the UK. I got to travel pretty extensively through Europe and have now been to 28 countries. I work mainly in hospitality, my most recent job being in front of house at the Cirque du Soleil show Amaluna while it was showing in Manchester. Cirque du Soleil is also the reason I am looking for a room to rent in Melbourne. As the show Kooza is in Australia at the moment and will be showing in Melbourne at the Flemington Racecourse from mid January until mid March. So I'm in search for accomodation from around the 6th of January until around the 16th of March. I enjoy cooking and baking, being adventurous, going for walks and hikes, reading, watching a good tv show (probably too many) and going out for a good coffee date. I fancy myself a pretty laid back person, I enjoy spending time with the people I live, sharing a meal and a bottle of wine every now and then. While also having personal space and being able to veg out in my room all day sometimes. So if you have a spare room that fits my short term requirement please get in touch with me.
Hi there, my name is Melvin and I've recently moved here from Perth in search of a better work opportunity. That, and probably a bit of study down the track. Presently working as a warehouse assistant and rostered on only week days so my weekends are open. Recently joined the thirties club, friendly and easy going chap with a dry sense of humour who looks and cleans after himself. Always good for a chat every now and then and happy to share a drink or two but also respect people's need for privacy as I like some quiet time myself. Listening to music is something I happen to enjoy a lot. I go to the gym occasionally but playing soccer is my passion. I commit to playing it x3 a week if I can manage but feel I'm getting really bad at the sport!
Hi, I am a new migrant here in Melbourne and on my try to find a job. I want a short term residence from 3-6 motnhs (own room, own bathroom and own kitchen) which might be extended based on my job location.studio apartment will perfectly fulfil my requirement. Regards Saikat
Hi! I'll be moving to Melbourne from Perth early 2017 to study post grad Screen and Cultural Studies at Melbourne Uni. I would ideally like to be close to uni/public transport. I'm looking for a social house, where we can share wine/watch Netflix, whilst respecting each others quiet time. I enjoy cooking and baking if you'd like to share meals, I'm a veg but don't mind meat eaters. I love my AFL, yoga, can speak German, will probably be singing around the house and am relaxed and easy going. Pets would be great, as I have to leave my gorgeous dog behind. So please get in touch if you have a room opening up in Jan/Feb. Thanks :)
I am clean and tidy. Helpful around the house and a general pleasure to live with :) Looking for fully furnished room with a desk ideally, around $200 - 250, inclusive of bills and internet.
Hi, My name is Aislinn and my boyfriends is Jeff, both 26 and we are looking for somewhere to live :) We are both Irish and only recently moved to Melbourne. Jeff is a finance professional. I am a nurse. We are both working full time. In our spare time we like to socialise and stay active, we like being outdoors (esp when its sunny ;), going on hikes, sight seeing, road tripping etc. Jeff loves sports - soccer, gaelic football, hurling and is a big motorsport fan. I love sports also, have lots of hobbies like pilates, food, music, reading and enjoy learning new things :) We have both house shared for years since University and love house sharing. We will be in Melbourne until the end of April so ideally are looking to stay for just over 5 months. Ais and Jeff
Hello, I'm Erin :) I'm looking for a new home in the central north suburbs of Melbourne, either in an existing share house or teaming up with other like-minded people to rent a new place. I work full-time Monday to Friday in medical admin, and keep things pretty chilled during the week. That leaves weekends for brunching, cocktails, live music and shopping, or binge-watching TV series if I'm feeling those hermit vibes. I also love taking my little dog Lola for walks, so I'm hoping to find a home for her too and will need to share with people who like little dogs and their big personalities! I have most household items that a fully functioning house needs, but am flexible with how much/little I bring with me. If you think I could be a part of your home, or you'd like to team up to find a place, please get in touch! :)
Im a 28 year old Female, who works full time as a teacher. I have two adorable little Pugs that will be with me, they are toilet trained and love a cuddle and play. I am an active person who loves gym, yoga and walking my dogs. I am very clean, friendly, trustworthy and reliable. On weekends i am always out and about catching up with friends and family.
Hi I'm Rob, originally from NZ, been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the events industry. Just finished up with the Melbourne Marathon and now moving on to the World Cup of Golf for the next few months. I like to keep healthy and try to get out mountain biking a few times a week. Grew up with 3 sisters so very much house trained, friendly and considerate of others. Have a fairly busy life from work, but always try to have a catch up when i have the time. Happy to live with quiet or sociable people, have lived with both before and get along great with either. Love animal's but don't have any myself
Hi I'm Ellie, I'm a shift worker which means you will often have evenings to yourself, it also means I come home in the middle of the night two nights a month but I make all endeavours to be super quiet. I am currently going through a break up and looking for somewhere to live for at least the next 6-12 months while I get my life sorted out. I love a good binge tv session with a cup of tea or a bottle of wine, a good book, baking, hiking, and swimming. I have a fridge, washing machine, and a couch which I can store or dispose of, if not required. I don't really want to upend my entire life, love going to the MAC and walking along the river, as such I'm really only interested in living in Maribyrnong, preferably on the river side of Highpoint, or possibly the west/river side of ascot vale/essendon/moonee ponds. I've done the share house thing before, have my fair share of good and bad stories to tell (and am fairly confident that I'm not on the wrong side of any of those "stories to tell.") I am respectful, generally fairly quiet, but also like to get to know my housemates and hang out from time to time. Also quite interested in the option of finding flatmate/s to set up a new share house in the vicinity, particularly interested in finding a pet friendly property (don't have any pets, but would love a dog if possible) with air con and a dishwasher. I would also want to keep foxtel which I'm happy to pay for if flatmates aren't interested.
I am great to live with because... I will only be home after 5pm on weekdays and working on weekends and I enjoy keeping my space lovely and doing my part to keep the home functioning. My friends describe me as very mature for my age, kind, considerate and very easy to get along with. Looking to live in a calm home with some beautiful people.
We are both happy, friendly people and easy going We just come back from a wonderful 4 month holiday and are excited to come back and live close to the city. We are not party people, but like to have the occasional drink. We are excited to meet new people
Hi potential housemates! My name is Tamsyn.Or, just Tammy for short. I'm a 21 year old full time animal studies student, currently working 2 jobs in the city. Living out of home for a while now, I understand the ins and outs of share housing. I am respective of others' space. I keep my things tidy and clean, plus I don't mind helping others out around the house with chores ect. I have always payed bills and rent on time with no dramas with a steady income. The best way to describe me: I am and little shy at first but when I come out of my shell, I love to chat and make new friends. I love cooking and baking (however I may or may not be terrible at it) I'm not a party animal, I'm generally quiet and keep to myself, however I don't mind going out with my friends on the special occasion (and even then that's if I'm not working since I work weekends lol #hospolife) Usually most nights you'll catch me reading a good book, binging on a bit of netflix or playing some Xbox. I also like to keep fit by going to kickboxing with my partner once a week I work in both a bakery and a bottle shop so sometimes I bring home goodies 😉 if that doesn't convince you I'm not sure what will! 😁 I am a non smoker and have no pets (however I do love animals) and definitely not into drugs whatsoever. I am looking to complete my diploma next year 😊🐶 busy busy busy! I am looking for somewhere preferably in the western suburbs as I've grown up my entire life around the west, however due to work, I don't mind the possibility of other surrounding suburbs. whatever can get me to flinders street easy and I'm happy! Ideally I am looking for flatmates that are of similar age to myself, 18 - 30 ish who are like minded, friendly and respectful. I am looking for a private room with a BIR, and, by a stretch, private bathroom. However I'm not fussy at all about having to share a bathroom 😛 Anyways if my long paragraph didn't scare you away and you think I'd make a rad housemate, please feel free to send me a message ☺ Please do not call or text me on my mobile, message me through flatmates, I am (almost) always monitoring my account so I'll get back to you asap.
We are a reasonably quiet but friendly 26 year old couple who will both be studying and working part time in 2017. We are looking for a homely environment, not a party house, and preferably close (<15min walk) to transport. We enjoy cooking healthy food, keeping healthy, watching a good movie, going on the odd adventure, and will occasionally be away on weekends in the country with family. We also love dogs and are open to sharing our love with a housemates dog!
Hey! I'm 24 years old and recently completed my university degree. I have obtained a full-time job beginning in 2017. I currently reside in Bendigo and am looking to move down to Melbourne to a location that is relatively close to where I'll be working. I'm looking to find a housemate/s or a place to move into early January before I start. I am easy-going, sociable, very easy to get along with and looking to move in with someone who shares similar interests. When I'm not working I enjoy a variety of sports, watching movies, socializing but I also enjoy my downtime. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hello Melbourne! I have recently moved (from Brisbane) for work and I am looking for a place to make a home. I'm in my twenties, love staying in with a glass of wine and good company equally as much as I love weekend adventures. I'm tidy and mature and can clean up after myself. I work in marketing. I have no furniture to bring but happy to furnish my own room. I do require a place with space to park a car. My boyfriend lives in Bendigo so I am also looking for roommates who don't mind him being over on the weekends (dw we're super considerate!). Looking for a home with great people! It's a plus if you have a puppy 🐶 I had to leave my little shihtzu in QLD. I'm open to any location 15-20 minutes from the CBD. Feel free to send me a message.

Hi, I'm Sharlyn and I'll be starting school at the University of Melbourne. Currently, I'm doing an internship at a local PR company and traveling a little. I'm from Singapore, and am fluent in English (and Chinese/Mandarin, a teeny bit). I'd consider myself clean and tidy-ish, but not overly so. I'm an introvert, but pretty friendly and definitely open to making friends. :) Ideally, I'd prefer to have my own room in a sharehouse, and to stay with girls. I have two dogs at home (a husky named Neko and a frenchie named Oki!) so animals are fine.

Hi I'm Alannah! I work at Dymocks book store and am working toward a career in musical theatre. I take regular dance classes and singing lessons and I practice and work out at home, obviously considering others. I'll also be bringing my keyboard with me but will use it respectively. I am generally pretty quiet, when I'm not practicing or performing I like to read, listen to music and watch tv shows and movies, but I like to hang out with friends and love a good conversation! I've been living alone this year so I have heaps of things to contribute to the house! Whatever is necessary, just let me know!

Hi My name is Rebecca and I am looking for a home to move to ASAP. Ideally I would like a large room with BIR/wardrobes that can fit more than my queen bed :D. I was living with my best friend who moved overseas and have my own furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally at social events. I’m quiet but up for a chat or occassional movie. I'm clean and have lived in share houses both in Oz and overseas so am aware of the living standards in sharing/respecting spaces. I enjoy cooking and exploring events around Melbourne (Theatre buff :D). I'm looking for somewhere to call home and housemates to hopefully call friends :D Thanks heaps Rebecca (Reb)
Hi! I work full time as a surgical assistant. I've lived in great share houses previously. I'm friendly, clean, respectful to others. Hey - I'm Brooke. Mid 20's professional who works full time in the city, I also work from home sometimes due to the nature of my work. I have a dog who is amazing but hence why I would need a house with a yard. She is a golden retriever x poodle and has a beautiful nature - promise you'll love her! Very well trained and well behaved. I am an early bird and love being active so I walk the dog most mornings at about 530am, after work I like to cook, have a red wine and just relax mainly! Would love to live with someone who is laid back, likes a laugh but wouldn't mind a dinner or wine occasionally. I enjoy reading, documentaries, travel and good conversation. Overall I am pretty reserved but love a laugh and good time so would be great to find a housemate who could be a friend rather than total ships in the night! Feel free to get into touch if you want to know more!
Hello Future Flatmate/s! I'm a 21-year-old Queenslander gal, putting my Law degree on hold in Townsville and taking up alternative studies in Event Management in Melbourne. I'm looking to make the big move in early Jan of 2017. I've lived out of home for the last few years, so I consider myself to be pretty independent and reliable. I'm fun/friendly, easy going, tidy and respectful of others. I do enjoy my own company, but love to socialise over a drink (or three) on weekends! In my spare time, you'll find me op-shopping, traveling/exploring, attending community events/music gigs, brunching, napping or attempting to cook/maintain the life of a pot plant. Essentially, I'm hoping to find some guys/girls that are of similar age who share common interests, that will not only be a flatmate, but someone who I could also become friends with! If you think I sound like the gal for you, swing me a message :)

If you are interested in meeting up and having a look at some of them please contact me ASAP. (No pets) I am looking to move around mid December but dates are flexible either side.
