I enjoy cooking delicious food and have discovered cheese and wine recently. I'm currently working full time in software and am getting that worklife balance like a pro! I'm quite clean and keep any mess to my own room, and are respectful of privacy. Generally I'm quite sociable and really enjoy meeting new people and having the occasional beer or wine in my downtime. To balance out the beer I keep fit with the gym during the week and stroll to brunch on a sunday morning.
Kiwi/Samoan just moved back to Melbourne after a year back in NZ. Chilled, tidy, working 9-5.30 and train a bit, so out of the house a bit during the week. Usually find something to do on the weekends.
My name is Adrienne, I am a 26 year old female working as a Practice Manager of a Collins street Dental Practice. I am a very clean, respectful, mature & friendly person & would want my housemate to posses these traits too. I would prefer to live with someone who is aged between 23-35 & do not mind whether my housemate is male or female, however I am not looking to live with a couple. I am open to moving into an existing property & I am happy to supply all of my own bedroom furniture. I would be looking to live in a property that provides me with a private bedroom & either my own bathroom or en-suite, to ensure that I have my own space & that you have yours :) I'd be happy to pay between $200 & $300 each p/w for rent, not inclusive of bills. I am very much into keeping healthy, cooking, baking & during the week I will either be at work or at Yoga. On the weekends I am often catching up with friends, family, cooking or having a Netflix/Stan binge! I would love to share a home with someone who would like to go out for the occasional meal & drinks & is looking to form a friendship, as well as being roommates. Last but not least - I do own a pug named Marley, so whoever I move to a place with must be comfortable around pets! Marley is completely house trained & very affectionate & basically just loves anyone who will give her attention! Ideally I would love for the property I move into to have a court yard or a small yard for her to have some space to run around on the days when I'm not home & she's not at doggy day care. It would be an added bonus if there would be another dog living at the property too, as she would love to have a little playmate. If all of the above sounds good to you - I would love to hear from you! - Adrienne
Life makes great to live especially when I'm at Melbourne. I'm cool and easy going guy and an IT professional, entertaining the people of Australia with Foxtel. Sometime smoking with a cup of Latte coffee, but not party guy. Basically I'm from India, came here in 2017 and continuing journey with Foxtel.
Hola! I'm currently in Coburg, and am looking to move somewhere cheaper. I'm about to begin some FIFO work which means I'll be away for up to five weeks at a time, followed by two weeks rest, and so on. Whilst I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a room I won't spend much time in, I want to continue to call Melbourne home, and want a comfortable haven to come back to. I'm pretty easy to get along with. Most people seem to think I'm a bit of a joker. I clean up after myself and in my spare time I like to relax with a good novel or jump on my pushie and breathe some fresh winter air whilst pumping some tunes. I'm also into camping, cooking, and don't mind a wee bush party every now and then. Cheers.
I’m a bubbly person whose great company with flexible easy- going attitude. Work full time in the city so will be home some evenings - I do like to eat out occasionally and catch up with friends. Love the arts and enjoy live music and the theatre. I also love to cook. It would be great to share a place with likeminded people who I can share a few meals with, some good chats and wine of course :-) I love animals and happy to live with one. I’m neat, tidy and considerate of others! Look forward to sharing with a few great people!
I'm quiet but friendly and fun, respectful and keep up myself a lot, but always up for movie and drinks. I enjoy going to dance classes and my blood type is caffeine. I have a 1yr old cat called Truffles and he is completely litter trained
I am a full time teacher, living with 2 boys, full time businessmen; we like travelling, food (vegetarian) and fitness :) We are friendly, tidy, reliable and clean.
Hey! We are Lydia and Sean, a couple looking to start a new place (a house of three or four) at the end of July. We're hoping for a house that allows some kind of studio space for art and music projects. Here's a bit about each of us: Lydia: At the moment I'm studying a masters while also managing a cafe full-time. I'm generally interested in painting, jazz, shit jokes, and cooking - I'll tend to fill up my spare time with these things. An ideal home for me includes a backyard (veggie patch?), a space to paint and play piano, and a kitchen big enough to cook with friends sometimes. Sean: I'm a full-time landscape architect, and casual folk musician. I'm hoping for a house somewhere leafy, but close enough to commute to the CBD. I will often be practicing music [quietly(sometimes)], going to see live music, visiting parks and planning music endeavours. Suburbs we're thinking of: Inner North (Brunswick, Northcote, Thornbury, Ascot Vale, Moonee Ponds) Inner West (Yarraville, Seddon, Footscray, North Melbourne) Ideally we'd like to pay less than 180 each per week, and are considering renting a second room/space within the dwelling for a study/music/art space. This could be a shared space amongst the household if you need a creative space too. We have plenty of furniture to begin the makings of a new house and can gather some essentials. We'd like a friendly and connected house dynamic, but one that upholds respect for personal possessions and spaces. We're both tidy and considerate, and intend for everyone we live with to feel very much at home. Can't wait to hear from you!
Hello all my name is Ryan, I'm 25 and I'm looking for a place to live. I work full time at EB Games Highpoint with my days off being Sunday and Monday. I like to spend most of my downtime in my room playing video games, watching Netflix or going out and socialising with friends. I prefer a room unfurnished as I own my own bed, desk and shelves. I have a introvert personality but I'm loving and caring once I've become comfortable in my environment. I like to think myself an open book and I'll answer any question honestly. I don't drive a house near public transport is a preference for me.
Hi I'm Ben, I'm a 30 year old civil engineer looking for a home. I work a 9-5 job (usually a bit longer) and enjoy making the most out of my time off. I'm looking for people who have good social skills, are tidy, respect their fellow housemates, are responsible and are more than happy to make friends.
Friendly and honest music student studying at the Australian Institute of Music. Bit of a scatterbrain, but post it notes and cork boards are my best friends. Must be okay with having trans occupants, but don't really want to move into an exclusively queer house. Furnished or unfurnished is fine, but I'd like to be able to put up a poster or two. I also currently work out of town every Friday.
Hi, I am a 26 year old, looking for an unfurnished room, not to fussed about distance but preferably near a train station or tram. I am a very clean and tidy housemate. I respect others peoples space and privacy. I'm very friendly, and have been living in Melbourne for the past 4 years. I am working full time and studying Social work. I love to explore Melbourne, and enjoy socialising. I have lived in previous share houses and am excited to find a new place and make new friends. Thanks :)
Hi my name is Samantha (Sam) I am looking for a relaxed and wholesome long-term household for myself and my pet rabbit. I am a self-employed Massage therapist and Reiki practitioner, i also work casually in administration as well as doing a little bit of housekeeping on the side. My schedule is varied and interesting. I enjoy getting outdoors, going for walks, creative endeavours, op-shopping & treasure hunting, gardening, a bit of reading and the odd trashy show (we all have our vices) I enjoy being social & having a laugh...and wine... :) however i really value space and time to myself. I will often spend the night away visiting friends or family down the coast (once a week or fortnight) I am honest, respectful & easy to communicate with. I like to keep home a healthy & peaceful space.
Hey everyone! I’m Lisa, I’m 28 and I’ve recently relocated from Adelaide to Melbourne to start a new job with Virgin Australia. I’ll have a lot of early starts so I’ll always do my best to keep the noise down! I have a beautiful staffy, her name is Lexi and I’m looking for a place/housemates that would be comfortable with having her around. She’s playful, cuddly and energetic. Ideally I’d like her to be part of the family in the instance I may be away for work for a night or two, my housemates wouldn’t mind giving her some love and attention. I understand she’s ultimately my responsibility so if it wasn’t possible, I’d look at putting her in boarding if I’m away overnight. As she has some anxiety issues with other dogs, It would be best if she was the only pet in the house. I’ve lived in share houses before in Adelaide and in London so I’m respectful and considerate and know to clean up after myself. While I sometimes enjoy “me” time, I’m a very social person and would love to hang out with my housemates and hopefully will build more of a friendship rather than just be people living together. I enjoy travelling, spending time with family and friends, sport, movies and keeping fit and active. Pilates and spin classes are my go to! If me and my pooch sound like we’d make a great housemate, send me a message! I’m ideally looking to find a place and to move before 8th July.
Hi there! I'm a working professional currently serving in the Australian Army in North Queensland. I'm now in the process of transitioning out of the Force as I am taking up an opportunity to return to research in mental health at Victoria University (Footscray Park Campus). And so, I am looking for a place close to VU and/or surrounding suburbs. I would describe myself as a friendly, clean, respectful, and pensive person with a lot of experience living in share accommodation. I love travelling, painting, movies, reading, mindfulness, and sport among other things. I'm usually up for a drink, bite to eat, casual hangout, or if you're planning to travel overseas! Feel free to message me :)
I'm trustworthy, reliable and organised. Love a yarn and a glass of wine but also like my time to myself. I work full time in retail management out at Highpoint so I ideally want somewhere that is within a 25 min walk to work.
Hi I'm Romain, I’m moving to Melbourne, September 10th and looking for a place. I’m 24 years old. I'll be working at Victoria University and studying in Sport Lab during 3 mounths. I am a RMIT student. I study and work all day. I am tidy and clean. I love to make friend with everyone. I am looking for a private room in share house.
We are a kiwi couple in our mid-twenties. We have spend over the past two years living in London and travelling Europe. Before that we were living in our own home for many years. Both of us are very clean and tidy and are happy to do our fair share around the house. we both enjoy cooking. Our lifestyle is a great balance of being social, but also chilling as well, we are very easy going, and happy to go with flow, and very respectful of other flatties.
