Heya, I'm a kiwi moving over from Vancouver to start a Masters of Architecture at the University of Melbourne. Looking for a household of fun but mature housemates to share a relaxing, inviting space plus the occasional meal with. I'm easygoing and sociable - looking forward to getting to know the art/design/music/film scene of the city. Love an outdoorsy lifestyle (volleyball, soccer, squash, bouldering) and will probably be out of the house early most days. Would love to find a light, tidy, plant-filled home with some like-minded grad students or young professionals. I can drive, speak french and make you crepes when you're hungover!
Bubbly and respectful. Natural social butterfly. Extremely clean and tidy. Literally get up, go to work, come home, eat and end up watching netflix on my laptop until I fall asleep during the week. On weekends I will usually be out catching up with mates. I don't drive so ideally the property will be within walking distance of a train station, as I work in the CBD.
Hello! I am currently in New Zealand until the end of this month and will be coming to Aus on a working holiday visa and plan on staying in Melbourne for at least 3 months before moving upcoast. I am very outgoing and easy to get along with. Love to socialise but would never turn a night in with a pizza down 😏 I am polite and respectable and would love some new mates to live with!
Hey there! I’m Tash, I’m a 24 almost 25 year old registered nurse, currently working shift work! I love to gym, eat well, catch up with friends on weekends, have a quiet drink or two while watching Netflix. I don’t generally spend a lot of time at home, as I love staying busy, being outdoors and I work ALOT! I also go away often in my days off to visit friends and family in the country, so I will basically be the housemate you have who pays bills on time and seems to never be home! That being said I am social, I love meeting new people and would be more than happy to meet new friends, happy to have a chat, cook/ eat dinner together but I am also very respectful of personal space! If you have any questions, please send me message :)
Originally from the UK and have spent the last 3 years living and working in Austria. I'm heading to Melbourne on a 4 year sponsored visa to start work in the Australian subsidary of my current company as a Project Manager. I'm fairly well-travelled and will be coming from shared accomodation (5 people), so I understand how important it is to be a clean and respectful housemate! An outgoing person and like to stay active whether it be in the gym, playing sports or out on a hike, etc. I'm also keen on my music and would love to meet people to head to some gigs with; officially a pubs-over-clubs kinda guy (these days!) and always keen to improve my cooking skills (obligatory glass of wine/cold beer during preparation, of course.) Weeknights are admittedly quite low-key between work and keeping active, but it would be great to meet sociable housemates keen to enjoy the occasional meal together etc. If you've any questions, please feel free to ask!
Names Mesai, 25 years old, Ethiopian decent currently working full time, as well as training as an athlete boxer at all other times. Very kind and out going guy, but also enjoy my own space. Looking to move in with somebody who is also kind, tidy and respectful of personal space. Looking to move in by next month.
Hi everyone, my name’s Lisa and I’m currently studying and working in Melbourne. I’ve almost finished my second year of a bachelor degree at Victoria university for hospitality management and Human Resources. I also work casually for Pullman Melbourne on the Park and Delaware North. Because of this I come and go a bit. I also am originally from a small country town in south west Victoria and go home some weekends and holidays. I respect others property and space and ask others to do the same. I’m a fairly quiet person but am quite chatty when I get to know you. I’m a tidy person and would appreciate living with others who aren’t overly messy or at least don’t leave their mess for over a week (current roommates do and it’s not fun). I love to cook, especially bake, I’m an animal lover, and also enjoy exploring new areas. I’m not a huge party person but am not opposed to a night out or drinks here or there. Am much more comfortable with a quiet night in watching movies and catching up with friends. As I’m such a huge animal lover I’m hoping to find somewhere that would be happy with me bringing my puppy with me from my hometown. Ollie is a a Fox terrier x jack Russell and will be about 2 months old in mid November. So if you have a pet friendly property with an enclosed yard/courtyard or even have a pet yourself that is friendly around other dogs that would be great! A car space or somewhere to park my car would be amazing also. I’m a non smoker and don’t do drugs, but I don’t really mind what your preferences are. I have a boyfriend who visits some weekends so that would have to be okay. I’m lgbt+ friendly, I’m also multicultural friendly and accept all backgrounds and religions etc, so long as you do the same with me. Whilst my current contract runs out on the 7th of December I could potentially leave this early if the right place comes up. If I sound like I’ll fit into your home please let me know. Thanks 😊

Hey, We are a young couple in our 30s, well-traveled, worked in various cultures, multilingual, have a variety of interesting experiences to share and easy to get along. I am an experienced finance professional and moved to Melbourne recently from overseas. I have previously lived in Melbourne briefly in 2015 and have a close circle of friends here. My wife is an educationist and more recently moved into jewelry designing, she will be joining me in Melbourne in a couple of weeks from now. We like to strike a balance between work and being fit and although we are not active gym people but try to walk the miles to keep in shape. My wife and I love to travel and we had the chance to extensively travel across the Middle East, Europe and Far East Asia. We are looking for an option which respects privacy of its inhabitants and has a great location. Please give me a call or send me a text if you would like to get in contact. Cheers, Umair

Hi, my name is Harry, I work full time in the IT industry and have a strong 6-year rental history. I am quiet, clean, considerate, and always pay rent and bills on time. My lease is up at my current place and I am looking for a quiet room within walking distance of a train station. I don't have pets (although I do love dogs), don't smoke, and will be away every other weekend visiting my partner in Geelong. I'm happy to live in a sociable house (I'm pretty keen on board games, have a bit of a collection going) but I am also happy to just be a peaceful cohabitant in a more private share house. I'm looking to move towards the end of November, however can potentially do earlier if I find the right place/teamup. Feel free to get in touch if you think I'd be a good fit.
Hi lovely people! What am I looking for? - Somewhere fun to stay with awesome housemates - Looking to stay for either a few months or for the long haul with the option of subletting my room when I go off for more than a month at a time (e.g. going to europe sometime this year) - Would be great to have outdoors or sports loving housemates that enjoy things like climbing, cycling, hiking, tennis or whatever else - A backyard would be amazing Why would you want me as a housemate? - I'm out of the house most of the time, working, I have things on most evenings and I'm often out for days or longer at a time on outdoorsy adventures - When I'm around, I like to be social, have a chat, share a beer or a wine, a meal, a movie or anything else happening - Got plenty of board games, and always keen on games nights - I have a car with plenty of space and a towball to help cart around big things - I enjoy working on projects around the house, and keen to do some gardening (by way of experimentation!) Frequently asked questions: - I was born here. Lived in NZ for awhile, and now back in Melbourne - I'm house trained. I'm not a neat freak, but believe things work nicer when dishes are cleaned soon after they are used (or the morning after if it's near bed time), objects are not blocking the walkways, and lawns are mowed - No dramas whatsoever about anyone's race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation - Left leaning, not that others need to be, but we'd probably get along better if we all were :) What you should know that might be an issue: - I would like a place where couchsurfers or visitors (anyone's) are welcome time to time - I like dumpster diving and won't hesitate to join anyone else willing or invite others - I'm mostly vegetarian but don't care what others eat / don't eat. Happy to be vegan in the house if others are
I'm a 26 year old, primary school teacher working full time in the Western Suburbs. I enjoy live music, travelling, yoga, the outdoors, adventuring around Melbourne, books, coffee and wine. I like where I live to be calm and easy going. I'd like to be friends with the people I live with and am happy to have a glass of wine, coffee and cook together - especially on weekends.
I work full time and long hours as a Physiotherapist. My current lease is ending in December 2018 and looking for a new place that i can call home. I clean up after myself and help out with house chores. I am not a party person, but is happy to hang out for meals and socialise. During weekends, I normally hang out with friends and explore what Melbourne has to offer.
Friendly, tidy, organised and social. I'm respectful of others privacy and space. Looking to live someone who has common sense and is responsible, tidy and sociable. Work as an accountant full time in the city, Monday to Friday.
Hi, My partner, Claudia, and I are looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. Claudia is from the Gold Coast and has lived and studied in Brisbane. I am from Stockholm, Sweden, and have lived in Australia for a year. I work in flooring and Claudia works in digital marketing. Both of us have secured jobs in Melbourne starting soon, so we are keen to move down asap! Both of us are social and outgoing people who enjoy having a drink or sharing a meal with friends. On our days off, we enjoy finding new places to eat/ drink coffee, BBQs in the backyard, hiking, camping and of course the occasional Netflix binge. Claudia loves animals so you might find her lurking around a dog park for fun, while I love building and fixing things. We are respectful housemates and pay bills on time and we aren't the sort of couple that need to be holding each other's hand all the time. We are both independent. Thanks for reading and hopefully hear from you soon.
Hi all! I am Elsie and I am a current Queenslander in the process of moving to Melbs permanently! I have been in share house situations for over six years and I am looking for a similar situation with likeminded people. I’m currently doing my Masters in Education and work two jobs as a receptionist and a Visual Art teacher aide. My interests are fashion, vintage, art, good food and hip hop. I am quite a social person so I am looking for people to live with who share similar interests and don’t mind being my friend too. I also own a bunch of appliances and furniture with me and I am happy to contribute those to the communal household. Looking forward to hearing from you! X
