I am about to start a Masters of Engineering at Melbourne uni. I have travelled around Australia quiet extensively and most recently I have been working in Tasmania. I enjoy flying, gardening, permaculture, woodworking, architecture, making things and am fairly handy around the house. During my studies and professional work I have lived in share houses and I am mature, clean, tidy and respectful of people's space. I am not into parties but I do like socialising and I occasionally like to share a meal. During my time in Melbourne I will be studying and flying (currently trying to get my pilot licensed) but also working part time. When there is time I would be socialising and catching up with friends. I look forward to hearing from you soon, please let me know if you have any questions, Cheers,
Hello there future flatmates, hope you're stellar! I'm studying masters at the University of Melbourne. I am pretty easy to get along with, and am always up for a chat and a hangout every now and then. Although I might be pretty busy with my Uni studies, up for chipping in my share of cleaning and chores! Dogs and cats are cool , rodents.. not so much. I play Table-tennis and basketball but enjoy watching all sorts of sports, movies and crappy TV shows. I wouldn't mind smokers (not a smoker myself) as long as they don't smoke inside the house. Hit me up if you have a room to lease anytime after the 16th February. Cheers !!
My name’s Millie and I’m 28 years old, just finished my postgrad studies. Currently jumping from my first job to my second (for professionally-related work). I work casually for events mostly weddings, start work late and comes home 3am, please don’t mind me I’ll be quiet as I’m more than likely to be dead. I’m an introvert and super shy in front of strangers but once you get to know me I’ll start acting like I’m your best friend(lol) and happy to talk a lot. I’m super chill with things, born in Hong Kong, spent some time of my childhood in Brisbane, some time of my adeolesence in the UK, and now 3 years in Melbourne :) I do speak with a mixed accent that also changes every morning I wake up but don’t let that confuse you - I’m very stable a person, very open-minded and happy to cook you food with love in case you need a boost in life x
Hey guys! I'm a Canadian traveller in Melbourne for the next few months! I mostly work nights so I'll be a very quiet housemate but I also love making new friends and chatting! I'm looking for a single room in a share house until I go back home in July! I'm very easy to live with and always make sure to clean up after myself 😊
Hi there, My husband and I are moving back to our hometown of Melbourne after 4 years living and working in Queensland. We are 33 and 36 years old, full time professionals, and looking for a place to call home for anywhere from 2 to 6 months whilst we get settled and look at options for our own apartment or house. For the right fit, we would be happy to commit to full 6 months if needed. We are clean, friendly, social people... Preferring to keep the socialising and parties outside the homestead, but always up for wine and dinner dates at home. We watch Game of Thrones of course... So ideally our new housemate/s will share this interest as winter is coming in April. :) My husband plays alot of sport so is out 2 to 3 nights a week... And I love going to the movies. We have been living in furnished properties for the past 4 years in Qld so we actually don't come with furniture... But we are happy to furnish a bedroom and bring some communal bits for the home if required. Ideally we would need a car space, or option for street parking, but dependant on rent cost we could look to rent a space. We would also prefer our own bathroom Would love to hear from you! Sarah and Danial
I’m clean and tidy, employed full time with a pet Labrador (she stays with my parents at the moment but if I can I’d love to have her with me). I’m relatively new to Melbourne and love exploring or going on day trips! However I also like to have lazy days binge watching reality tv. I enjoy my alone time but I don’t want to hide out in my room either. It would be nice to have a housemate who is also a friend. It’s very important to me that this isn’t a party house (atleast not regularly) and that you clean up after yourself aswell. Note: looking to live with FEMALES ONLY.
Hi my name is Lachy and I looking to start a new life in Melbourne, I'm 22 and currently living on the Gold Coast. I love music and am quiet by nature and easy to get a long with
***Looking for a room to move in ASAP*** Hey! I’ve just moved from Perth to Melbourne to do my Masters at the University of Melbourne. I’m very friendly, respectful and considerate of others. Lover of good wine, good food and, of course, travel! 😊 Looking for a comfortable large-ish private room (big enough for a queen bed and study desk), ideally to share the house/flat with 1-2 other people. I value having tidy communal spaces so I am looking to share with someone who is the same. I would really like to find somewhere where I am made to feel at home and not feel like I need to lock myself away in my bedroom all the time. As I’ll be studying, I’m looking for something that won’t be a “party house” on the reg! At this stage I'm ideally looking for accomodation until approx July (for the whole of first semester) however if all goes well then would be happy to stay on Any questions, just ask 👍
We are really easy going and approchable, and enjoy outdoor activities and/or movie+food+drinks time with friends. We both like clean and tidy spaces and are very respectful of everyone's space and rest, as we'd like people to be in return. It's like our only rule: treat others the way you would like them to treat you. We are also Sound Engineers with a great passion for all kinds of art, especially music, which we can discuss and analyse for hours, even more when it's about music in films. You can ask us about anything in our lives, and we're more than happy to talk to people about the real Colombia, so they can see that Narcos and all of those crappy series are just stereotypical, emotionless, unatractive and damaging stories, that exalt a culture of pain and blood that needs to disappear. Anyway, we'd love to hear from you, so please write back :) Cheers!
Hello! This year will be my second year down in Melbourne since making the decision to move away from home and study at the University of Melbourne. Coming from the rural costal town of Alstonville situated on the Far North Coast of NSW, the switch has meant I am now looking for accomodation that is affordable and welcoming. A little bit about me is that I am the second eldest in a family of 5 siblings. I attended High School in Lismore NSW of which i was the Vice Captain of the school. Im passionate about sport, in particular AFL and Cricket, and love casual leisure sports as well. Im a well rounded, respectful person that prides himself on valuing others. Im also hard working and conscious of other peoples personal requirements. To be offered a place of accomodation in your share house would mean the world to me, as you would be opening up your space to me. I hope that you will consider me as a potential candidate. :)))
I'm currently studying at RMIT and doing my year 2 in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and working full time at the hotel overnights in the city. One of requirements on my job is to be clean and tidy, so I've used to have everything cleaned and washed all the time. I prefer to cook by myself and doing this pretty good and happy to share with my future flatmates :) I'd prefer to have my own bathroom but this is not a must have for me. I drive my own car and not depend on public transport too much, but at the same time I need to have parking space next (I'm okay with on street parking). I do not smoke and drink, but I'm okay if my flatmates do so. I respect my flatmates' privacy and want other people to do so as well. I do not like to live in 24/7 party surrounding, but at the same time I'm more than happy to spend evenings in a living room listening to music, watching movies, laughing and having fun.
I'm working as a paralegal/organiser as well as a campaign manager and director while I'm studying part time at Melbourne Uni. I moved from the country for work and study last year, and lived in shared residential accommodation for all of 2018 - so I know from experience how important it is to have roommates I'd get along well with and who can help me see more of Melbourne! Work means I travel a lot and I'm not often home, but when I'm around I'm friendly, open and relaxed (and a bit house proud too). I love sharing a drink or doing dinner with my flatmates, and I'm always up for showing other people my experiences of the city too.
Hey, I'm Nick, I'm a 25 year old Australian RMIT animation student. For a little background about me, I grew up in Indonesia and previously lived in Sydney where I studied biology. For work I've mostly been in the hospitality industry part time where I've worked a variety of jobs to support me alongside my studies. For fun I'm interested in movies, video games, outdoorsy stuff like hiking and a bunch of other stuff. As a person I'd like to think that I am extremely cool and friendly. I've had a lot of experience living in share accomodation situation, and as a roommate I am considerate, clean and polite, and I'm down to hang out and have a drink with my housemates every now and then. I'm looking for accomodation while I find my feet in Melbourne in terms of a steady part time job to do alongside uni - something in the ball park of 3 months stay.
Hi there. I'm a friendly 27 year old full-time teacher looking for a private place to call home. I'm looking for a place that is either self-contained or quite private/separate from other rooms. Ideally a bungalow, granny flat, 1-bed flat, or even a townhouse that has a bedroom/bathroom on it's own floor. I would also like a large room as I need to fit my study desk. If there's some type of backyard/ patio/ balcony, that would be awesome. I have travelled extensively and experienced many a dorm room and share house, which was always a great way to meet people. I'm now at the stage of my life where I do require privacy due to high work demand. However I am always up for a chat, sharing a meal or having a drink after work. I love music, cooking, having a laugh, and attending gigs. I am extremely clean! Definitely always cleaning up after myself and keeping my own spaces neat and tidy. Not down for a party house. Look forward to meeting you!
Hello there! I am a 27 year old professional minded student at Melbourne University, studying my bachelor and majoring in Architecture. I am also working part time as a student architect. I write part time as a music reviewer/analyst for an arts and culture magazine on the side. I am from Melbourne and have always lived here. I'd say that I am open minded, responsible, accepting and friendly. Im easy going. I am often quiet, courteous and reserved; keeping to myself. I do not drive so parking will not be a problem. I rely on public transport. I am a relatively clean person, although I don't like things to be uncomfortably sparkly. I am well travelled, not a vegetarian. I only drink on rare occasions and don't use drugs. Whilst I can be social and enjoy a chat- I understand the need for space and quiet. I have no problems with communal meals and chores etc. if need be. I have shared and been on individual lease in three houses where I have paid rent and bills separately and I have always paid on time. I can provide references from past house mates saying that I have always paid rent/bills on time and that I am friendly if need be. I am really looking for someone/thing long term with a rental history. I have lived people that identify as vegetarian and LGBTQIA in the past with no problems. I am also respectful of the culture and opinions of others. To me, It does not matter what you identify as but as long as you are nice, responsible and respectful. Happy to share my time with all walks of life that fit into these categories. My availability is starts on the 14th of February. I am interested in applying for a 12 month lease/ or longer or to start a new lease with people of similar rental history who are reliable. Ideally I am looking for a 'home' rather than just a house to crash. I would prefer someone who can commit to atleast a 12/24m lease and independently domestic that would help me build a safe, peaceful and happy home. No dramas magnets please. :) Lucky for you... I also come with living room furniture! This includes a bookshelf, 4 seater table and chairs (extendable to 6) and a side glass display cabinet. (All 1y, hardly used and from Ikea). These are negotiable of course and I can possibly find storage for them, although i would ideally prefer not to. I can send you a photo if you are worried. I've tried to be as open as I can to answer any questions but please email me if there are any other questions you may have or you are interested in being my housemate :) Please be honest with me, I will not take anything personally if I am not what you are looking for! Chloe PS: Photo is not current, not that it should matter.
I’m a 25 year old working in retail about to move into Interior Design. I work in the cbd so prefer places close to a tram line. I am clean, tidy and considerate of housemates. I definitely value my own space but am always happy to share a dinner, drink or chat. Just looking for somewhere friendly to rent
I'm a 35-year-old Master of Business Administration student. I also work at the CBD four days a week. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I'm looking for a quiet room where I can move in early March. I love animals, I don't mind having pets at home.
