I'm 27 years old, just about to finish my music business degree, and currently work in a bar and for a digital distribution company. I love music and footy (AFL), and when I'm not busy I try to get to as many gigs and games as possible. I'm pretty easy going and I like to have my own space, but I am looking for a house where I feel comfortable and get along well with/can socialise with my housemates as well. I'm clean and tidy, friendly and always respectful of other people. That's all I really ask for in my housemates as well. I'm looking to move after the 10th of December, and I don't have my car in Melbourne so I'm after a house that is close to public transport. Preferably a place without pets due to allergies - most dogs are probably worth it but definitely no to cats.
Hey I'm Jake, I'm looking for something temporary as I have chose not to renew my current lease in Maribyrnong. Hoping to find somewhere to tie me over for the next 3-4 months until I leave to travel the world for a year or two. I work full time as an electrician Monday to Friday I am pretty easy going and enjoy a cup of tea. I am super clean and like keeping things in good condition. I am spontaneous, i like to go on adventures and travel, i Im not much of a party person but do enjoy a drink on the odd occasion in the city. I am well mannered and very respectful of other people and their belongings. Also very open and honest. Looking to find someone/others with similar habits.
Hi, I'm Savannah, a 27-year-old student from Sydney who will be coming to Melbourne to study my honours project in Neurogenetics at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute in Parkville. I've lived in sharehouses for nearly 10 years so know how to respect the space. I'm usually quiet during the week and like to go out to gigs on the weekends. I am creative and like to make clothes, paint and make homemade soaps when I have the time. I also do casual modelling on a freelance basis with a couple of agencies and work in before and aftercare at a school in Newtown (SYD) at the moment. I have a partner, Matt, who might come and visit from Sydney sometimes and two cats who won't visit but I'll probably show you a hundred pictures of them - sorry in advance I just think they are the cutest two creatures to ever walk the planet hah! I'm looking for a casual and friendly space where I can meet some new friends, maybe have a casual wine and chat, but also have the space to study when I need to. I start uni in February so a late December or January move date is best but I'm flexible. I would likely stay until the end of 2020, maybe longer if it's the right fit (and available) and I decide to stay in Melbourne after my project is finished.
Hi there, I'm looking for a room in early January 2020 as I'm relocating back to Melbourne from country victoria to start a new job. I'm looking for a place in the inner west i.e. Maribynong, Ascot Vale, Moonee ponds, Kensington, Essendon, Yarraville, Newport or Footscray etc. Ideally I'd like a car space and my own bathroom if that's possible. I'll be working full-time (9am-5pm) and away every 2nd or 3rd weekend. I'm tidy, respectful, considerate of others, down to earty and easy to get along with. A bit about me. I'm in my early 30s and work as an Engineer. I enjoy travel, movies, playing sport and hanging out with friends and family. If you have a room that you think fits the above happy to discuss further. Thanks Ash
I’ve lived in share houses for the last 5 years (with both men and woman) and know the exact type of housemate people don’t want to live with I can cook, clean and enjoy spending time with others. I won’t spent all my time in my room but also understand people’s boundaries. If you’re looking for someone who loves a chat, beer/wine and you won’t need to bitch about to your friends, I’m your guy.
We're pair of artists looking for a beautiful new home! As a couple we're social, eco-conscious and friendly. Oli is a free-lance artist who is pays the bills by painting murals and selling sustainably sourced and ethically made artist ink. I’m studying a Bachelor of Fine art at Monash, working in retails and will on occasion will go disco roller skating. I’m a vegetarian and Oli will mostly eat/cook vegetarian, we both are familiar and enjoy composting and love plants. As artists we both have a sick combined collection of artworks to pepper around the home and make the space super funky. We have both lived in share houses for a while now and are super laid back, we’re hoping to fit right into a home and accommodate everyones vibe.
Hi, my name is Caitlin and I am looking to relocate to Melbourne to share a place with my boyfriend who works full-time in the area. We are looking for a furnished room, preferably close to the Maribyrnong area. I am hoping to move as soon as possible, looking at a 6 month stay to start with. Our budget is under $300 per week including bills. We have a strong interest in sport, he does bmx and I love netball. We have both travelled a lot and enjoy indulging in desserts that I like to bake on occasion. We are a pretty quiet and relaxed couple, clean and tidy and respectful of others.
Hi, I’m Amber! I’m 21 and working + studying at RMIT. I have previous renting history with other tenants and I understand the importance of pulling my weight!! I’m not a party animal and I prefer to hang out at home and do my own thing ☺️ I am vegan but I don’t mind if you’re not, I do love to cook in my spare time! 🌱
Young and active Nurse, moving to the city for work. I enjoy being social but also value privacy and my own company. About me : 23, almost 24, year old. Nurse, so shift worker. Yay! Relocating to Melbourne for work. Bit of a dork, love a good Netflix binge and a cheeky red wine or two. Veteran at the share house game.
Hey there :) I am looking for a nice place to call home, hopefully with like-minded people. I am a full-time student and also work part-time at two places so pretty much MIA most of the time. But I’m always down to chat and chill on the rare occasions. I’m a pretty clean and friendly person. Easy to get along with.
Hello. I'm Matt. From the States. Living in Melbourne for over 3 years now. I was living in Shanghai, China the prior 6 years and also Germany for almost 5 years before that. So I have traveled a lot ))) I am one of the founders in a technology-focused business based here in Melbourne. As such, I travel and work a lot so my weeks are a bit irregular and always long. My career is definitely a big focus presently. As a result, I often enjoy a fitness session or a bit of quiet time most weekday evenings. I'm quite active and enjoy sports -ice hockey, snowboarding, biking, hiking, jiu-jitsu etc., I'm looking for a comfortable living situation with fun (but responsible and respectful), forward-thinking adults. I enjoy being social but also some alone time. I admire honesty and clear communication. Again, respect is a critical aspect of shared living situations, it's a two-way street! Cheers.
Hey! I’m a Maldivian studying for my Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at RMIT. Neat, tidy and organized to a fault. I’m an avid gamer and I also play the guitar (Don’t worry about the sound as I prefer to wear headphones while I play :)
