I'm currently house sharing in Lennox however the beautiful couple I live with are moving back to live with parents to save for the 'great Australian dream'. Hence, I'm looking for a new home prior to November. I work in Ballina as a personal assistant and love to get out and about and explore this amazing region. I enjoy fitness, beaching, reading, shopping, baking and have the goal of creating a veggie garden. I'm pretty chilled and not bothered by much. More than happy to start a house share or move into an established home. Moved up this way a little while ago after 4 years in Melbourne. 🌻☀️🌈
Super quiet, friendly and enagaging low maintenance human. Reliable, trustworthy respectful, and I prefer the company of people with similar qualities. Enviro Science graduate working part time in a lab and investigating options for further study. I love the water and outdoors and subsequently need a bit of storage space for toys. Happy to look anywhere between Ballina and Lennox, nearer the water the better.
I'm a quiet, easy going and friendly girl, currently studying full time, who leads an active lifestyle. I'm trustworthy, respectful of others, clean up after myself and always pay my rent/bills on time :)
Hi, I'm looking for a room to rent for myself and my beautiful dog Bailey (12yr old well trained spoodle - he doesn't shed hair). I need an furnished bedroom. I'm a very neat, tidy and considerate person. I enjoy a chat and I also like my own space. Would love to live with a conscious person. I am a non smoker. I love going out to catch up with friends for brunch or a cuppa. Would love to hear from you if you feel this resonates with you. Have a beautiful day 😊
Easy going, self sufficient, friendly and tidy, that's the dog, Salty. The human is OK too. I am interested in places in the general region, having moved to the area from far South Coast NSW. I am currently living in Sunrise, Byron Bay short term and I am intending to rent for a year or so while I get to know the region and choose a home to buy. We prefer to be close to a dog beach or in the forest but are also happy in town with a private leafy outlook and access to good dog walking spaces. I am active and creative and busy keeping up with the demands of a multi-faceted career. I work from home making natural dyes and doing botanical printing, I also work in adult education and professional and technical writing. I like cooking and baking, gardening and growing food. I am fortunate to love my work. I sometimes travel for work but mostly work from home or nearby workshop. A shed, roof, garage area or warehouse space I can use for workshop would be fantastic, especially if I could live in it! I'm good to live with because I am respectful of the space/time/social needs of others. I ask, listen and am able to express my own needs and perspective. I do not like drama. I make sure Salty is happy and other members of the household are comfortable with him and understand his cues and commands. Salty is pretty friendly, a desexed red Smithfield, he likes most humans and other animals, he walks away from drama with other dogs rather than be involved in aggression. I live a mostly healthy lifestyle, lots of dog walking and swimming - not much party these days! I still love music and dance. I drink alcohol now and then and I do smoke occasionally. I always make sure no one is offended or adversely affected by my smoking.
I am a civil engineer who has moved to Ballina to work on the Pacific Highway. I am tidy, organised and respectful. I like to get outdoors as much as I can. I have lived in sharehouses before and believe an even split of the housework works best (or rotating roster). I am very social and am seeking housemates who are up for a chat or a drink from time to time, and not just sit in their room. The majority of my family and friends are in Brisbane so I will be away from the apartment one or two weekends per month. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
I am an easy going environmental engineer for a cosntruction company and i will be working on Pacific Highway btwn Ballina and Maclean so i am looking for a place preferably in Ballina and surrounding surbubs as long as there is a gym in town i will be happy. I live in Brisbane so you will hardly see me as i will travel back to Brisbane on friday arvo and back on Monday morning.

Have a really friendly 4yo golden retriever x border collie too so looking for a place with fences. I'm quite easy going, like to think i am considerate of others and am a coeliac (allergic to gluten) so i wont steal ya food 😀
I'm a recent arrival to the area and want to rent / share a property while I decide where I want to settle. I'm retired and past the rave party stage but I enjoy company and have a lovely group of friends. My many hobbies include bridge, tai chi, toastmasters and home skills such as cooking. I like my personal space and respect boundaries of other people.
Hello. I am looking for a room preferably. Thanks. I would live to chat more. I enjoy work and beach. Would prefer to talk more personally.
Hello :) We are Joanne and Georgia, friends from Canberra and both 24. We are looking for a furnished room each or a room to share. (preferably own room each) Joanne and I seek a tranquil environment to call home from 31st October onwards with either a short term or a periodic lease. We will be Arriving in Byron bay on the 19th of October and free to check out the place along with a meet and greet. We are excited to be moving from canberra to live the coastal lifestyle. Joanne will be studying in the new year as well as working part-time and Georgia will be working full time. Our weekdays/weekends will be spent working, beaching, cooking, baking, yogaing, checking out local markets and what Byron has to offer. We both are massive foodies and love to check out restaurants and appreciate a glass of wine, cocktail or beer. Ill also add we are both respectable and adaptable people that are social and respects our peers and their space. Please don't hesitate to contact us, we are extremely flexible and hoping to move in the 31st October. Thanks, Georgia & Joanne
Hi, I'm a friendly, very quiet, and clean girl. I spend most of my time writing novels, but I also paint, sew, garden, ice skate, and other things. I am a non-smoker and not into parties. I am fantastic at: babysitting pets, cleaning stuff, and fixing things around the house. I'm looking for other creative people, non-smokers, and those who like fun activities. My preference is for females, but I'm also happy to share with gay guys and trans/non-binary folk.
Britt and I are looking for 2 rooms in a share house or a team up to move in ASAP. We both work full time so will not have trouble paying rent. We are clean, considerate and friendly. We like to get out and about on weekends and don't mind a cheeky drink on the weekends.
Hi! I’m a 28 year old junior doctor at Lismore Hospital and Luke is a 38 year old engineer who regularly works away at Brisbane. We are moving to the area at the end of 2017 and are really excited about calling this beautiful part of the world home ☺ What we are looking for: We have the luxury of time to find the right people and the right home. We can move to the area anytime between Nov ’17 and Feb ’18. We are both very busy people who work irregular hours including night shift. The most important thing to us is that we come home to a quiet, respectful and clean home. Outside of work we live quiet and peaceful lives – surfing, yoga, gardening, cooking and meditation. We are early to bed and early to rise. We enjoy our down time. While we’ve finished our party days we do love meeting new people and sharing stories. Ideally we would love to meet other full time working couples/individuals who would be interested in pooling our money together to long term rent a really beautiful house with plenty of space for personal privacy around Suffolk Park. If you genuinely think you’d like to house share with us, or already have a room available in a quiet home please get in touch with us and tell us about yourself. We would love to hear from you. We’ve rented the same home for the last seven years and have excellent references. What we are not looking for: Big drinkers, late night socialising, too much TV. We are secretly grandparents already :P $550 is our absolute maximum and would have to really tick all the boxes for us! Otherwise we are ideally looking to pay around the $400 mark. **Thankyou**
I'm Alex, a 28 yo doctor looking to team up with a group of likeminded, professionally employed legends in a share house in either Lennox or Suffolk. I've been in the area for 4 years now. There are some stunning larger properties around and I'm interested perhaps pooling our dollars to score an epic pad for the summer and beyond. My budget is up to $350 So the serious bits first- I work variable and long hours with lots of on- call so need to live with people who are respectful of my need to rest between times ! (ie, I need a peaceful home to come back to, not a party shack). I think it'd work best to live with people in the same boat (full time workers, aged late 20s-30s ) who work hard during the week and know how to relax at its end :) Otherwise, I (try) to live an active and healthy lifestyle with abundant market trips, beach days, coffee sampling and cooking afternoons. Sometime that plan goes out the window and I survive on frozen dinners, wine and The Bachelor. Would be awesome to find people who would be keen for a few runs, a serious game of three-hundred, a philosophical debate or 2 or some weekend adventures. I've got no strict moving dates and am happy to wait until the right people/place presents itself. If this sounds like you, shoot me a message and we can chat :) Alex
Hi i'm Vanessa. I'm a single female 35+, non smoker. I'm pretty relaxed and easy going; tidy and respectful. I have an opportunity to relocate for my work (same organisation) for a minimum of 6 months with option to extend. I work 4 days a week in the disability sector. I have a lovely, clean, calm and quiet dog, a 2.5yr old dachshund/kelpie, who I adore and is my spirit animal. We (Tattie and I) spend most of our time out walking, going to the beach, checking out the sites and local parks and cafes when I'm not working. We have been living alone for the last few years so am happy to do my own thing, but I also like to socialise and have a chat or wine/meal with the people I live with. I love live music etc so usually like to go out to enjoy a relax and dance. I don't mind going to the occasional house party, but I'm never the organiser, so I'd say I'm usually quiet but fun.
I will be working a Christmas job in Byron and am looking for a place to live until mid January, with the potential to stay even longer! I'm flexible on move-in date too! I love all things health and fitness, exploring, the ocean, animals, grooving, live music, anything with a positive feel! I am a vegan so I would prefer to share with vegetarians/vegans. I would also prefer to live with females that are of similar age. And I love animals so I don't mind if we have a furry friend as a roommate! I'm laid back, like a clean home, cook my own food and love to spend a lot of time outside- if you think I'd make a good roommate, message me!
Looking for a studio/house to rent in Byron Bay or surrounding suburbs. My partner Henry and I are moving up to Byron Bay from Sydney. I'm the Deputy Editor of WellBeing and EatWell magazine and Henry is a lawyer. We have organised working remotely with both our work places and cannot wait to be out of Sydney! We'll both be working from home and need a home office space. We're clean, respectful and kind. We own our own property in Sydney, love surfing, the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Thanks so much for your help!
I am chilled out and relaxed, I love gardening and maintaining an organised raised garden bed with a variety of vegies and herbs, I brew my own beer and like experimenting with what ever produce is in excess during that season, I am handy around the home and like to fix and build things with what ever is available to reduce waste.
I'm a student from the UK studying Public Health whilst exploring Aus! I'm looking to settle in Byron Bay area, as I love the outdoors, cycling, going for a surf, drawing and yoga. I'm looking to share a house with people with similar interests so we can explore together! I'm easy going, tidy and enjoying cooking a lot (Vegan). Feel free to message me if you have a room, or if you'd like to find somewhere together!
We are quiet, super clean and easy going. Looking for a short term room with ensuite whilst we find a house. We are a chef and Naturopath who enjoy healthy living, going to the beach, meditation, travel. We are just back from a road trip around a lot of Australia. Hope to hear from you soon... cheers :)
Hey guys! We are Cam and Kelsey, full time travel bloggers from The US. We currently are based in Bali, but will be coming to Aus September 19. Super stoked about the move, but also a little nervous considering we've never been there... We are stopping off in Sydney for about a week to visit some friends, but plan to make our way to Byron afterwards. We are looking to live in or near the Byron area because it seems best for our work. I put that we prefer 3 month stay, but more than likely we will need a place for about a year. We are super laid back and love a chat over a good beer or glass of wine. We are also super clean, so that is a must when looking for a roomie... We really want to make friendships out of this and not just have someone to awkwardly share a place with, because we are super social people. Oh and I should mention that we do a lot of filming, which means we will be filming inside the home (not weird stuff, just youtube and instagram stories lol) You absolutely do not need to be on film, I just figured I would put it our there so you guys know. Anyway, if we sound like people you would be interested in living with please send us a message! Thanks, Kels

Very easy going, very personable and easy to get along with. Looking to relocate from Melbourne and give us up to 12 months to feel around before we invest in a house.
Student. Casual worker. More than the sum of the parts. I have widely varied musical tastes (whilst respecting volume levels) and enjoy getting amongst it, wether that be hiking to the top of the mountain or snorkeling to find nemo. I cook a mean roast or BBQ, I cook a sub par risitto but an working on that. I cannot walk tight rope, nor juggle. I do have a mean as frisbee and hackysack game though. I am a conscientious and empathethic flatmate. I have no pets but I love animals. I rarely party but when I do you better hope you have a camera handy.

Hi I'm India, easygoing and friendly housemate who likes to be social but also respect people's personal space and time. I am relocating to Byron Bay from South Australia, starting work at the beginning of October. Looking for somewhere to live with friendly people. I like to spend my free time adventuring, cooking, surfing, checking out local markets and the occasional cheeky beverage, cheese and wine etc. Looking for a room to live in but also very interested in teaming up with like minded people and making a new sharehouse but I understand the market doesn't have many options for young people. If you find something, please contact me!
