I'm a Canadian living in Australia for a year and loving it! I'm moving to Sydney from Melbourne and looking for a place to call home for the next six months. I'm tidy and respect the space I'm in and expect the same from others. Although I'm not a huge partier I do love to have a drink and a chat, but totally understand personal space! Thanks for reading!
Looking for a place to live from June 17th! Our Latin roots make us an easy going couple to live with, we enjoy tidy spaces, socializing, cooking (We are trying to get better at it), training, physical activity, and of course music, Latin rhythms and dancing (Not like we gonna make home a carnival). Clara is a Medical Laboratory Scientist working as a pathology collector, and I am a Business Administrator with HR focus trying to grow in the construction industry and studying at the same time. We are very respectful of others time, culture, opinions, tranquility and privacy, hence we like to be respected in those regards too. Just so you know we've been told to be excellent Spanish and salsa dancing teachers!! :). We are willing to meet personally if you want to know more about us!!
Re-locating to Sydney Wanting to find a place for myself Extremely tidy, OCD with cleaning and love to cook Always on the go, whether I’m working, going for walks, swimming or hiking. Up for a chat with my room mate but like my own time
Clean, friendly and respectful flatmate :) I work a lot, so do not tend to spend much time in the common areas. Happy to catch up over a glass of wine on my days off though!
Hi there. My name is Steve and I'm a 30 year old (31 in August) guy (gay) originally from country NSW although, I've lived in Sydney for many years now. Hoping to find a new home and flat mate. I work in property and financial services 5 days per week between 8:30-5:00. I have an active social life outside of home and have always considered myself the perfect housemate :) Extremely clean, tidy and considerate, I'm looking forward to finding like minded people to enjoy renting a home with. Reason for my search - my current lease will soon expire after 2 years of holding it. I do smoke (outdoors) although am trying to quit. I am extremely tidy and respectful of communal spaces. Love having the occasional drink or meal together but don’t depend on this – I have a good group of friends. Enjoy the occasional night out, but my main focuses are my family, friends and work. I would enjoy living with all sorts of people – provided they are also tidy, respectful, open-minded, honest, caring and cooperative. I have no special dietary restrictions although I’m often out at meal times, so I tend to look after myself. I am always keen for communal dinners however, as well as BBQ’s. If there is anything else you would like to know, please feel free to contact me. Steve

Hi! I'm a professional person looking for a calm, responsible and friendly place to live - I'm quite quiet and keep to myself but always enjoy chatting and sharing a meal every so often (I'm quite a good cook!). I love music but usually listen on my headphones unless there's no one in the house, so wouldn't disturb you with that. I'm always happy to do my share of the household tasks and am quite easy going. I usually work a Monday to Friday full time job in the city so tend to keep mostly regular hours (albeit slightly flexible office hours) but sometimes work out on site so would could be working some earlier mornings. I don't party often (if ever, and never in the house) and the latest I'm usually out is when I go to the theatre or am working late at the office. I have my own furniture apart from a wardobe (my current room has a built in) so would rather an unfurnished room. I've got a queen sized bed so some space in the room would be good. I'd be more comfortable living with other women but that's not a necessity. On weekends I either like going exploring, or I love having a chilled weekend at home reading, watching TV or playing games (both computer and traditional board/card games). $300 per week is my budget and ideally at that rate I'd be looking for some of the bills to be included, but I'm happy to consider slightly more expensive property if it's exceptionally spacious etc. Ideally I would be looking for a place until mid to late November. I am currently awaiting a visa application decision by Immigration, so there is a slight possibility that if it gets turned down I'd have to leave Australia in 28 days. I'd love to hear from you! Holly :)
I’m currently single, and work 5 days a week I’m childcare so when I do get home I like to relax. I enjoy cooking and I’m willing to try and cook anything. I love binge watching shows on Netflix and the odd night out in the city with friends. I have a rescue cat, Frederick or Fred. He is 4 years old, he keeps to himself but on the odd occasion I find him snuggled up to me. He is also litter trained
Hi! I'm 22, work full time in events in Ultimo. I like to have housemates that are friends also, but I also totally get that people like their own space sometimes (as do I). I am clean and tidy, and fairly chilled out. Not looking for a party house but dont mind if people are over etc. I love live music - I work in the industry so there are occasionally free tix! - sports, books, shopping, being outside/active, and watching reality tv with a beer after work. Bonus points if you have a dog!! I also dont have a car, so no need to share parking spaces. I would be happy to go on a lease, or look for team ups as I am looking for somewhere long term!
Hi guys! I'm from Brazil, outgoing and spontaneous, but with a great respect for other people's space. I love cooking and my hobbies include baking, bushwalking and everything outdoors (beach, mountain, everything!). I love nature. Used to be a biologist and am studying counselling 2 days a week. I have a boyfriend that I visit every week for a couple of days - which means that I'm not always at home. I work at a shoe shop and can give my flatmates 50% off :) I speak Portuguese, Spanish and English, understand Italian. I love talking about life and learning about other cultures. I'm tidy, clean, organised, always clean up after myself and am pro cleaning schedule for the house. I used to be a professional cleaner in Australia, so I'm pretty good at it. I like watching series and movies, reading and chating. I'm not much of a drinker, a few drinks make happy already. haha Anyway, all my friends say I'm a nice, easygoing person and I believe them.
Hi I am Hugo! 23 year-old currently working in the public sector as a financial analyst (young professional *tick*) I have had 5 years of share-house experience so definitely share-house-trained. I respect others' privacy but also like to chill with others, share the occasional meals and wines (though I prefer gin-and-tonic), fit right in with most households listed here. (This is more than what I have written on Tinder and hopefully I have made a better impression here!)
Hello! My name is Javier! I am very tidy and orderly. I love cooking, sports (especially climbing), studying and going out with my friends. It's very easy to talk to me about anything. I'm working on VFX for cinema, and I love it :) If you want to know anything else about me, do not hesitate to ask me.
I work full time for a non-profit in the city so I'm often out most days. I like to stay active, you'll usually find me by the water at sunset or catching up with friends :) But I love to cook up some decentttt meals and watch movies (whilst devouring an entire chocolate cake... ) My bestie is now taking a plunge to move in with his GF, so I'm looking to find a place with someone who's like minded, enjoys catching-up, and generally likes to converse :) 2 bedders are just way better value than a 1 bedder hey :)
I'm from Canada visiting Australia on a working holiday visa. I'm personable, clean, organized, respectful, flexible and adaptable. I'm a good listener, but can provide good banter too. I like to help others solve problems. At times I like to be extroverted and meet new people yet I like my quiet time alone too.
Boatbuilder & and fabricator. Specialise in refitting classic yachts but much more. Love and am very good at cooking, especially for many. Like sailing, motorcycle riding, fixing things and creating things. Make furniture, custom heritage parts. Read a lot, politically aware and have a very wide range of friends. Have girlfriend of many years who I do not live with, we share a small dog (basenji) but is mostly with her. Expat Kiwi, 30yrs now. Socially engaged love Aust. and being a part of broad community. Participate in mentoring less advantaged but do not bring that home. Well travelled and still living. I would describe myself as NOT 'I'm gunna'. I get things done and enjoy doing so. Relly the troops! Will do the squeamish jobs and probably tease you with a wink. Get away when I can, never short of work but don't usually have 9 to 5 jobs, more likely have projects. Current one I've been on for 8 mths, another 2 or 3 months to go. Next one already lined up. Usually own a yacht, in between at present but something in the making... Always own a motorcycle that usually stays in workshop. Prefer off Street parking for ute with tools and somewhere to store tools or a way to make that work. Looking for a home, not just a spare room. Have furniture and stuff. Girlfriend happy to keep my furniture but if... Also need a large room I can fit my big bed and and office deck to do my book work. A larger house that has interesting people who like their ideas challenged sometimes. I do. Happy to pay more than others in the house for the space I need. Happy to answer specific questions, I get that I'm likely coming into your home. Currently living at Collaroy, been here some years but alas house is sold. Can stay here till first week of July or sooner. Regards Matt
What makes me great to live with? What a deep question! I guess me being a real people-lover, when I get offered something - a room for rent, I always want to do something. Baking something (Dutch) time to time for the owner, of course keeping it very tidy and offering an helping hand or making a dish any time :) ! I like having conversations and getting to know the owner but if the owner is busy and prefers privacy that is totally fine as well.g I have a lot of experience living for a few days, weeks and even months at other peoples places. And 2 months experience as a domestic cleaner
Hello! I'm a full time student at the national art school in Darlinghurst. I work a few jobs bartending and being a barista. I grew up on the Central Coast and moved to Sydney in 2011, I'm currently living in North Sydney with my two brothers but our leasing is ending soon so we are all moving on. Please help me find a home! what I bring to the table: -I'm a super sociable person and loving sharing stories of the day over some wine every night. -stacks of creativity, (a few stacks of my paintings that can or don't have to be hung up) -delicious dinners! My other passion in life is cooking (eating) making big family dinners is my meditation -a respectful nature, I've lived in enough share houses to know where to draw the line However, I hope that us living together sparks a beautiful friendship :-) Can't wait to meet you! Madi
I'm a 23 year old Engineer and starting a job at an Acoustics company in Surrey Hills. I've just come off a year of travel and am looking forward to getting into full time work. Sociable, clean and tidy.
I'm a 25 year old engineer originally from Melbourne. Pretty laid back type of guy who enjoys a drink or two at a bar or kicking back and chilling with a couple of friends. I'm always down for a chat, love good coffee and enjoy being around friendly people. Tend to keep the weekdays pretty quite but my weekends I'm normally out and about either hiking, exploring nature and Sydney or enjoying a good book at a quiet cafe. I’m a person who is neat, tidy, respectful of others, their property and communal spaces, honest, open minded and is pretty relaxed. I enjoy having the occasional drink or meal together but also enjoy some quiet time. I work long hours during the week so I'm won't be home much to make a lot of noise, but always happy to kick back together and have a chat when possible.
My name is Shane and I work full-time in the marketing team of a video game publisher in Ultimo - dream job! ;) I love playing games, watching movies, chilling out and listening to music, going on hikes and hitting the beach. I enjoy keeping to myself but am always up to hang out or share a drink/meal. I like to keep my living spaces clean and am happy to get my hands dirty to maintain a place. I love meeting new people and going on adventures on the weekend :)
