We are a professional couple from the UK emigrating to Sydney in June 2018. We enjoy eating out, live music, art and socialising. We both love languages and speak Spanish and German. We are looking forward to our Sydney adventure.
Hello, I'm moving from Melbourne to Sydney for work in early March. I love plants, fresh air and homely homes. I'm always up for a chat, but also happy with my own company. Cats generally make me smile but also itch, so probably looking for a pet free scenario. :)
Hi there, I'm Olivia! I'm from Connecticut, USA. I am moving to Sydney to take a teaching course. I'd prefer a quieter home where I can study. I'm not really a party person but I am social. I'm very tidy and clean up after myself. My hobbies include snowboarding, grabbing lunch with friends, going to the beach, and exploring new places. I can provide references if needed.
Hi I am Jean-Pierre, french national permanently living in Sydney for the last 20 years. I work full time at Sydney Ferries on boats. I am described as quiet, funny and easy going. Outside of work, which takes a big chunk of my time, I like quiet time at home enjoying reading, painting and mostly working on my photography making. I prefer cooking at home as opposed to eating out ( it happens on occasions) and though I try to be efficient with cooking aiming at quick but healthy meals I also much appreciate the sharing of food. I do shift work and at time leave very early and at other time come back rather late btwn 1.30/12.30am. I have my own bed and few items to set up my room so I prefer a non furnished room. I have also few other item (a fridge and some kitchen utensils that I would like to be able to store away, a small corner of a garage would be great. It would be nice to be able to find a quiet place with like minded people. Looking forward to get to know you. JP
I work full time in the city in marketing and I am about to start studying online full time. I can be very mature which usually winds up in people mistaking me for being much older than I actually am. Just up until a few weeks ago, a lady who i had been working with for 18 months thought I was 28. I'm not a massive partier, I like to think of myself as very friendly, but very respectful of others. I am tidy and do like coming home and hanging out in my room watching Netflix sometimes. I love animals also!
Hi guys, Originally from France I am a permanent part-time educator in childcare and an international student in Diploma. I have been living in Sydney since 4 years now and I really enjoy this city. I'm looking for a 12 months stay and I will be able to move in early March. Ideally I'd like to find a private room around Glebe/Central station as my work is on Glebe Point Road and my school in Central station, but more than happy to consider other places My budget is $250-300 max. Not interested by a share-room. I am very organised and don't like mess so please consider it or we might not be able to live together. References can be provided. About me...Well I guess I'm a smiling person, friendly and responsible. I love travelling and photography. During my spare time I used to go out spending my time with my friends, going for a walk and on excursions. I love comedy movies and sometimes horror movies (in English). Also I do love my job, I am a nanny but I will work as a permanent part-time educator in early childhood (start 5th of March from 7:30am to 5:30pm) and I really enjoy spending time with children so always in a good mood. Wednesday and Friday I am going to school (Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care) from 8:30am to 4:30pm. In my future accommodation I will love to live with someone I can be social with but who can also respect my study time (week days). I like quiet place and don't do parties on the weekend. Don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested to meet me :)
I'm from Sydney, working 9-5 Mon-Fri . Starting my Masters in Media Practice at USYD on March 5. Love Game of Thrones. I'm a cat person. Love traveling, recently came back from Indonesia. Love making videos, I make YouTube videos too. Looking for 2 new girls to fill in the 2 rooms at my newly approved place in Petersham.
Hi there, I am a 27 year old single professional female who just relocated to Sydney from London and am looking for a furnished room in a home which is preferably modern and near a beach but am fairly flexible. I work for an insurance company in the CBD (standard 9-5 hours) and am here on a 457 visa as I fancied a change from London's dreary weather. I plan on spending 2-3 years here so looking to make the most of what Sydney has to offer in that time (I spent my first week here at surf camp!!). I try to live a healthy and active lifestyle, I will be looking to join a gym and yoga studio as soon as possible and I also go for runs when the weather permits. I am outgoing and sociable and if the insurance sector is anything like in London, after-work drinks on a Friday are the norm, but equally I do like my own space on occasion. I have a few friends from London who are already in Sydney but our late night party days are behind us now. Most importantly I am a very clean and considerate housemate. I co-own a flat in London with my sister which I have been living in for the past two years and have learned the importance of treating a home with respect and keeping it tidy and presentable at all times. I will try to get out and about as much as possible on the weekends but also partial to a good Netflix afternoon when the weather is bad. I am staying in temporary accommodation provided through work for the whole of February but will be available to move any time around the beginning of March. I would love to hear from you or arrange to come and view your flat if you think this sounds like a good match! Thanks, Lauren x
Hi, I'm Sam, a 28 Aussie female who works full time as a software tester. I'm clean, a non smoker, respectful and not a party animal. I'm looking for a share room for 12 months, with NO BUNKBEDS, MAX 2 people per room and within a 30 minute walk to work. I will consider an unfurnished room within a 30 minute drive to work if it's with amazing people. Bonus points if you are next to a bouldering gym, have undercover parking for my motorbike or have cats. please describe the commute to 201 Elizabeth st and tell me what makes your share house so awesome. I've got a broken ankle, I fell off a wall while bouldering and I can't walk until March. I have surgery booked on the 23rd of February and I can't easily do stairs before then. I currently live in Ashfield in a share room situation, I pay $190 per week for rent (all inclusive). I'm considering moving so I can focus on my recovery/health. I need to give 2 weeks notice before moving. I like to bake, brew beer and make things. I value sustainable living and could get behind a community vegie garden. I'm pretty nerdy; I'm into board games, electronics and I speak at tech conferences. I hope to hear from you soon. Regards, Sam
Hey I'm Alex, I work for Subaru in Sales. I'm pretty easy going, I grew up and went to school in Lane Cove. I do enjoy going out for occasional drinks with friends and like to treat my home as a clean and quite place to enjoy and relax. I work full time as a Car Salesman for Subaru Australia.
HI! I'm Elisabet and I come from Barcelona I'm a pretty easy going person. I work as a nanny for three different families so I'm most of the time out. I like cooking, reading and watching movies.
Hi guys, I’m looking for a place to move to beginjnh of March . I’m very easy going , quiet and friendly. I love to have a conversation with my flatmate every now and then if they’re up to, otherwise I respect their privacies. I keep fit and jog everyday. Hit me up if you think we can get along :) Thank you :-)
We are both 2 outgoing Canadian girls. We are friendly and super easy going to live with and respect our fatemates space and do our own cleaning. We both work in hospitality so our hours are long but not your typical 9-5. In our spare time we love going to the beach, adventuring around the city and going out for drinks. We are calm cool and collected but can also have a lot of fun. Like everyone one here, we love a good weekend in drinking beers or wine on the couch watching Netflix.
Easy going and social but after living in a share house respectful of others privacy. I like to be clean and tidy and I love all kinds of pets and would like to live with like minded people. I have a Finance back ground but I am currently working full time doing System support and installations. I work long hours so I like to come home to relax in a nice quiet, comfortable environment. Most weekends if not home relaxing I am visiting friends.
I'm a 20 year old brazilian moving to sydney with a friend. It would be great if we found a place to live together, but it's ok if it's not possible. I'm very open minded and I'm looking foward to meet new people. I like playing sports, working out, skateboarding, play video games and partying. Inspite of that I'm going to study at UTS and work part time, so I won't have much time to do those things and I'm probably not going to spend much time at home.
I am a business owner with a bachelor's degree in engineering and a master's degree in business administration who works from home in the IT space. I am young at heart and enjoy going out with friends, keeping fit, skiing and karaoke. I am easy-going, open-minded, non-judgemental, reliable, clean and tidy, intelligent and respectful. I have a great sense of humour and love a good conversation. More than willing to share domestic duties. And since I work from home, I am prepared to make a bigger contribution to rent and utilities.
Hi I'm Harriet I'm from a cattle station in rural NSW. I just spent the last 12 months working and living in England as a nanny. Im now working full time and studying Photography. I am very tidy, friendly and outgoing. I love cooking, binge watching netflix, a glass of wine after work and i'm always up for a chat but respect personal space as well. Im looking for a place thats homey and tidy with housemates that are fun, friendly and respectful. Looking to move in early March, please message if I sound like I'd fit into your home!
Hi my names Steph, I work as a nanny part time and I am also a makeup artist. I am clean and respect other people's space and belongings, I am a pretty social person but I do also enjoy my quiet time. I love to cook for myself and others so I'm happy to share meals, I do enjoy some drinks on the occasional weekend (although not a party animal) majority of the time I would prefer to be home watching Netflix lol! I occasionally may have a friend over, though I do have amazing friends that can get along with anybody (possibly bias). If you have questions feel free to message me! :)
Hi! I'm a native Sydnean well sorta, I am back now working as a strategy and business consultant. I lived overseas in the EU for a couple of years, prior to that I studied politics and law in Australia at various universities and worked here for a while too. Ideally, I am looking for a house with like minded people who understand what its like to live in a place where everyone is busy with their own projects yet live as mates? hope that makes sense! Also a caveat, but I am allergic to cats! so its a deal breaker :(
I'm Libby, I'm 25 and I'm currently studying post-grad psychology after having had a stint in marketing. I currently work 3 days at a psychology clinic. I really love to travel and try to get back to Europe once a year if I can, with a particular fondness for Scandinavia. I like to go to a gig or two occasionally but also have nights when I chill out at home with a glass of wine and Gilmore Girls. I'm pretty open-minded and respectful of others' privacy but ideally would love to be in a house which catches up occasionally for drinks or dinner.
I'm currently a permanent part time manager. I do have late finishes sometimes at work but won't be noisy coming in. I'm not pedantic with cleanliness but do like to keep the place tidy and am happy to be sharing out the housework. I would generally keep to myself but would also love to be a part of a friendly home with people happy to chill together.
Respectable, open-minded and quiet. Loves to have peace and quiet at home, but is always open for a chat, dinner or a few drinks. Will be starting a new job so will be out most of the day as well.
Looking to move early MARCH 2018. Looking for a house share. Not looking to share with more than 2 people preferably one person. Or an apartment that has good storage spaces. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a 5 shelf -6ft tall bookshelf, a push bike, 2 cd racks, a glass top dining table that stores flat, an oil heater, a fan on a stand and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space some things could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Looking for a place that has a CLOTHES DRYER for those rainy days off when I have to do my laundry. I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, non-drinker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. Not looking to share with anyone who works from home. As I work outside of normal hours, most weekends and most public holidays, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport 7 days a week and on public holidays. Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
