Hey future friends, I'm an Architect and working full time in Hawthorn. I have a good sense of humour (i think) and enjoy meeting people. I do a lot of paintings in my spare time and read about consciousness and technology. I drink whiskey only and just on Fridays... maybe Saturday too. I also spend a lot of my time going to conferences and expanding my networks which includes builders, researchers and philosophers. I speak fluent English. If you're keen for a quick chat and most importantly, initiate some sort of friendship - feel free to write me back or call me. Coolest regards, Ananda
My name is Ana. I work full time as a public servant. I was a teacher and optical dispenser in a former life. I love keeping active and social. I'm into yoga, latin dancing and brunching! I am a relaxed and easy going person, love to have a chat but also appreciate quiet time and respecting other people's space. I love to cook (and eat haha) going to the beach and the footy!
Hi all, A bit about me: I’m a 28-year-old Illustrator / jack-of-all-trades born in Melbourne who has just moved back to the city after a year away in the countryside. My work and education history vary across industries, with my last position as a barista and café all-rounder near Geelong. I’m currently seeking gainful employment while working on commissioned illustrations. My Illustration business is starting to take shape which is something that I take great pride in, and I’m excited for what the future holds. I've always been curious and creative and have had guitars, drumsticks and all manner of pencils, pens and paintbrushes by my side since a very young age. With a view to go back to study next year - my past study areas have included Banking & Finance, Business Management and Systems Administration in Information Technology, among others. Learning and improving myself are a large part of my life. I’m not new to living with other people and know how to clean up after myself, be respectful of other’s space and energy, and how to maintain a comfortable and grounded atmosphere. I love people, but better yet, I love getting along with people. Finding the common ground is something I strive to achieve. A mature, kind and down-to-earth person, who enjoys sharing a space with like-minded individuals. I’m able to move in as soon as possible, and to provide the first month’s rent as well as the bond via direct-debit. If I sound to be a good fit, I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Tyler
Hi guys, my name is Harry, I work as a pool lifeguard and also am a fulltime student, studying engineering :) I'm a super friendly and easy going person that is always up for a chat and the occasional beverage. I also enjoy time alone though and normally get it when I'm riding my bike which I love to do when I can. I'm looking for a nice place with good people in the Kew and surrounding areas. I'm moving around here due to part time work that I have picked up. I go to university in Footscray and study Architectural Engineering fulltime and work as a lifeguard casually :) It would be awesome if you could hit me up with a message if it seems like I would be a goof fit for you. Thanks for your time. Your pal, Harry
Single professional female working full-time as a Sales Executive for a I.T Distributer. Come with a 9yo staffy x named Envy. I am a very chill person and have never met someone I haven’t gotten along with. On the weekends I enjoy getting out into nature, spending time with my nephews or having a beer and watching the footy.
Hey future housemates, My name is Richard, working full time in the health and beauty industry. I am looking for a room to rent as my rental is ending next year January. I though it would be good to start looking for my next place where i can call it home as early as possible. Nothing set yet, but if you have a room for rent around that time, you are welcome to give me a text. I am clean and sociable. Prefer quiet night and home cook meals. I love to have a drink or two with my friends occasionally. Loves dogs, beaches and sun. If you need more information about me, please give me a text! Thanks.
Very positive person and easy to talk to. I interact with you based on how you interact with me.
Just to clarify on the above info: * Budget is flexible * Flexible on length of stay too. Somewhere between 4 and 7 months * Can adjust move in date too My name is Ollie (UK), here with my girlfriend Yuma (Japan) on a working holiday visa. Looking for a place in Melbourne and not fussy about who we live with. We generally keep to ourselves or go out but are always down for a beer at home too. We both work full time at a cafe so are out most of the time. We also like to cook and have no problem cooking for others too! We're pretty tidy people and like to look after the space we live in. I'm into design, F1, movies, games and need to get back to the gym at some point. Yuma likes making stuff, cafes, movies and also wants to get down the gym. (So a place near a gym would be amazing) Other than that...love pets but allergic to cats unfortunately, really keen on eco-friendly/sustainability but don't judge if not and are pretty experienced with house share in general. Looking forward to hearing from you !
Me and my 3 year old border collie are looking for somewhere to live! I am very easy going, clean, work in health and fitness, love my personal space but love to get amongst the house and socialise with everyone, am a sociable person and mostly always have a smile on my face :)
Hi there, It could possibly me and 3 females (we are all students). I am 25 years old law student at Victoria University. A bit about me: - I'm an easy going, friendly & active person; - I'm a generally quiet person but also loves a chat; - Positive, genuine, generous, self-reliant. What are my interests & hobbies? - I love travelling; - I play footy. I clean my footy boots; - Gym & running; I am a devout Christian, but won't impose my views on you, I will respect your way of life. What makes me a good housemate? - I am easy going and friendly personality and get along with most people; - I'm generally tidy, well organised and clean after myself, but a little bit messy in my own bedroom; - I am respectful of other people's privacy; - I generally clean up after myself because I like the house to be generally clean; - I am an open-minded person. Experiences: I have lived overseas for 6 months in Malta. I lived in a flat with 6 other people (4 girls & 2 guys), and I am one of the tidiest in the flat. I was the one who organised the flat and set standards for everyone. It also shows my ability to live with other people.
Hello my name is Abi, originally from Wagga NSW, have been in Melbourne a few years now. Studying a Bachelor of Arts (Photography/Film) at Deakin University & working around 30 hours a week at a coffee shop. I keep nice and busy but like coming home to a happy homely environment. Positive energy & honesty are very important to me. I'd say I keep to myself most of the time but am also a lover of a good movie night, a cuppa coffee or a glass of wine and a potential boogie of a weekend. I'm currently living in a share house with some of my closest friends but we've decided to go our own ways from October. I know October is still a little way a way but I'd like to know I have somewhere secured soon. Would love to grab a drink or a cuppa if you'd have a potential spot for me.
Hi! I'm Beth. I'm 20 years old and currently studying my Master of Teaching for Secondary School. I'm an American, but live here permanently in Australia. I've been told my accent makes me sound like I've just come off the plane! I'm a massive book nerd and Netflix fiend. I enjoy my space, but don't mind a cheeky drink once in a while. I'm very low key and like my space to reflect chill vibes. Therefore, I'm not interested in a party house. I'm not an obsessive clean freak. But I am tidy and respectful of the communal areas. I am VERY allergic to cats, therefore I cannot live in a house with cats, regardless of if I keep my door closed. I am looking at adding a member of the dog variety to my family, and someone who would be open to loving a doggo would be a massive bonus.
Hi, Im 33 years old and recently started a new full time job in Balwyn so I am looking for somewhere closer to work to live for a minimum of 6-12 months. Ive recently completed studies to change my career path from hospitality to information technology to achieve a better work/life balance and am currently working Mon-Fri 9-5 in the Information Technology industry. Im a pretty chilled flatmate to live with, I have a cat who is a both an inside and outside cat (desexed, microchipped and vaccinated), so Im obviously looking for somewhere that he is welcome too. I currently rely on public transport (for another few months), so relatively easy access to this is a must. Im looking to move within the next week or two, on a weekend.
I am reliable, quiet and discreet. I speak several languages and have lived overseas half my life. I've worked as a Canberra based public servant, and subsequently moved to Melbourne and worked as a consultant on Latin America and Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I am a grandfather who spends a fair amount of time with my children and grandchildren. Not keen on a party house, or pets, particularly cats as I am allergic to them. I do, however, enjoy good conversation and a glass of good wine.
Hi everyone 😀 Im Kate, I'm almost 26 years old. Im super easy to live with, super friendly I love a good old chat, I clean up after myself and I love making new friends. Hi there! My name is Grace and I'm currently looking for a warm and friendly home! I'm 25, currently working part time as a nurse and studying part time doing my postgraduate of emergency nursing. I love to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Love to gym and love to cook :) I keep mostly to myself, prefer to socialise with friend outside of home. Respect that a house is shared and needs to be cared for. I'm super clean, and always will clean up after myself. And hope to find a housemate with alike values.
A couple looking to teamup with probably another similar couple. I work in Kew at a Real Estate, so should have no problem in finding a place, but whilst trying to save it can be hard to find an afforable rental property. My partner, Tom works in the construction industry. Recently have moved from Ballarat & are trying to settle in the area. I do also have a pet cat, she is 10 years old & is gorgeous. She is very well trained & has lived in many houses with me & never been a problem. Tom & I are a friendly & happy couple. We work 5-6 days per week, & like to have a quiet drink, cook & keep a tidy house. Looking around the Kew location, but open to places like Brunswick, Fitzroy & anything around Melbourne really!! Can travel up to 20km to work if I have to. Were so lovely & easy so please get in contact with me if you'd like to know more. :) Length of stay is flexible. Ideally 6 months plus!
Hey! I’m a 25 year old speech pathologist, I work full time at a special school for children with disabilities. Ideally I’m hoping to find a spot in a share house or apartment with guys or girls aged 20-35 who like to have a chat but can also appreciate quiet down time.
I'm Adam, I moved down from Brisbane at the start of the year. I used to be a carpenter, now I work in finance so I'm good for a bit of banter. Don't mind a drink in or out. I'm always up to try new places and want to explore the city as much as I can. As far as living with me goes, I'm tidy and respectful. I always clean up after myself and am mindful of others privacy/space/etc. I keep things pretty quiet on school nights, can work long hours. If you think I'd be a good fit, send me a message.
Very chilled, easy going housemate, partnered with Atticus, my 3 yr old Maremma pup. Grew up in Melbourne, went to school in Kew and work in hospitality. I genuinely love people and a social, healthy lifestyle. Travelling and seeing the world is my biggest hobby, recently arriving back from India and Thailand. Hence the urgency for finding new place to live. At home, I'm very respectful of the house, cleaning and helping out with dinner is my forte! When cooking for myself, always make sure that I make extra for the house in case anyone else is up for a feed. In saying that, I love sharing a meal and going down to the local for a beer/wine. At my last humble abode, I had an amazing 3 yrs with my housemates. Always having a laugh and helping each other out. My pup, Atticus., 3yrs old, he is extremely well house trained, well mannered, outside and inside dog. Never acting up and mostly looking for cuds, loved by all he comes across. As for his breed, the Maremma, also non-allergenic, they are used protect penguins on the coast (If you've seen the movie Oddball). Of course I take him for 1-2 walks a day and you'd be more than welcome to join or take him for walks yourself! He's even great company to take down to the local cafe or pub with your friend's. As for having people back at the house, I generally make most of my social activities out of home. As most of my friend's are mature, in their late 20's to mid 30's. My hobbies include, guitar, jumping on the Ps4 from time to time, watching Netflix, walking Atticus, cooking and catching up with friends/family. I'd be able to bring a lot to the home, as I'm currently keeping most of my belongings in storage, which include - Fridge, washing machine, couches, kitchenware, outdoor setting, BBQ, flat screen T.V & home theatre system, bookshelves, decorative pieces, art and more. Of course any of this would have to be agreed upon, otherwise I'm very happy to leave it where it is. If I meet your criteria for a new housemate, I'm happy to come and check out the house at your convenience! As I'm on the hunt for a home after travelling. Ready to move asap. Rent and bond is in hand. If you'd like anymore details, feel free to let me know. Thanks for your time, Lachie
