Hi! I'm Sophie, a 22yo professional looking to rent in a friendly share-house. I work full-time as a secondary teacher at the Queensland Academy for Creative Industries. I am an organised and tidy person who would ideally love to share with people who have similar values and traits! I am a considerate, cheery person and would love to find a place to live long-term.
Hi! At the moment I'm studying music at QUT and working part time at Blue Room Cinebar, so unsurprisingly I spend most of my spare time writing songs and watching movies. I spend the majority of my day out of the house, but when I'm home I tend to keep to myself (though I do love to chat)! I'm super tidy and I'd like to think I'm pretty chill and low maintenance, but hopefully a fun person to live with too! :)
Hi there, I am an international student living here since march 2017. I work part time in IT and Events Industry. I am quite social in life. Love meeting new people. Interested in travelling, fitness and music. Love going for drives at night, parties or just a night in at friends house. A positive person and always try to make people happy around me. My current lease gets over by Feb 24. Looking to move in around the last week of February and meet some new people. Cheers Happy new year.
Shaun and I are awesome to live with. We love having our own privacy but love to get cozy and have a beer with our housemates. We love playing games and we cook really great food (good for anyone who loves being fed). I study at QUT and work part-time in marketing while Shaun is a gymnastics coach at Y.M.C.A and works with kids with diabilities.
I work full time in pharmacy. I play sport but am having a little break so trying to go the gym when I can. I am fairly clean and tidy up after myself. I don’t smoke and I am not a party person. I am not a drinker but don’t mind having an odd glass of wine. I like to be sociable but I also like to have time to myself. I am looking to move into somewhere with either 1 or 2 other people. I am allergic to cats so ideally I don’t want to be renting where there are cats. I am flexible with move in date. I could extend length of stay but for now just 6 months to see where I will be then.
Looking to either team up with people or move into an existing place :) A bit about me, I work full time, love being able to catch up with housemates when I come home from work or on the weekend (not looking for a ghost housemate), I’m a sucker for good food and love cooking... anything else you want to know, ask away! What I have: 3 seater couch Fridge Dryer 6 seater dining room table 8seater outdoor setting Random bits and bobs All of the most random kitchen things you can think off. What I’m looking for: A place with great people House with A/C Gas stove top A room with an en-suite Shoot me a message if you want to catch up :)
I work part-time and am in my fourth year the University of Queensland, studying a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Art History and International Relations. I have a small dog called Layla who is five years old and is an absolute angel and will definitely be your friend if you giver her pats, and I also several indoor plants, who don't really respond to pats. When I'm not studying or working I like to go and see live music, go do naturey things, see art, hang with friends or just chill with the doggo. I like to keep my room tidy (thanks Marie Kondo), and am respectful of common spaces.
Hi everyone! I am seeking to join or create a sharehouse in Brisbane's inner-west or inner-north. I work as a freelance writer and I have a part-time job at a real estate agency. I also have a friendly labradoodle! Finn is fully house trained and very loving, has been an inside dog in an apartment his whole life but would love a garden to play in. He gets two long walks per day so spends most of his time asleep and shouldn't disturb you. Respecting your privacy is important to me, and I would love a room which has space for a desk so I can work from home with some privacy. I've been living by myself for the last year, so I have plenty of furniture and appliances to bring if you need. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and having a chat or a drink on the weekend and I have made some life-long friends through share housing! I am happy to pay up to $250 per week, including bills, or $220 - $230 without bills. I look forward to meeting with you soon! Thanks, Kate
Currently work 7 on and 7 off in the mines and will need a home base for the days off. Generally quiet for the days off as I will be out and about. Not looking for party houses.
I am a full time nursing student who works on my days off. I am quiet and respectful to other people's needs and also down to make friends! I love going for rides and runs when I can.
My boyfriend and I, are looking for a place to live for 3 months as after that we will be travelling overseas however our lease is about to finish. We love rock and roll, Arts, Wine and Philosophy. We are very clean, social but also enjoy quiet time.
I'm from Wollongong and have lived in Brisbane since 2006. My partner is Colombian and has lived in Brisbane for 3 years. I'm in IT, play guitar, train in powerlifting and am currently learning Spanish and Dutch. My partner is a gymnastics coach and is into all things 60s-70s. We are usually up for a beer or wine, with good company. We're looking for a room in a home or sharehouse from 2nd March, for 2-4 months. Ideally, we are looking for an open ended stay with the facility to give two weeks notice to vacate. We're hoping to be off to Europe in early May. We like things clean, are never late with the rent and usually play well with others. Pretty keen to find somewhere with a pool 😁
Looking for a couple of decent people for a new share house. (I'm the left) A bit of banter and maybe house drinks/bbq would be great every now and then but quite happy to just do our own things too. Like to keep things pretty easy going. Have friends/partners over as you wish, chip in for house supplies, everyone help out when needed, keep it happy, really just the usual. My weekends mostly consist of motorbike rides (will need undercover space for bike), heading to the beach, out for dinners or just chilling around home. Would love a place with an outdoor area. I'm a full time childcare worker so rent/bills are always paid. Very familiar with share house life so not interested in anyone who hasn't learnt how to clean up after themselves. I have plenty of basics: fridge, washing machine, dryer, microwave, and a few bits and pieces if needed. *move date very flexible. Hit me up for a chat :)
Hello. We're a couple looking for our ideal share house! Sarah is an optometrist who enjoys reading and yoga. Richard is a public servant who enjoys a nice breeze and farm chat. Ideally, we would be looking at sharing with 1-2 flatmates who are young professionals and don't mind a good time.
Hey potential roomies, we're Charlotte, Ben and Daniel, we have been share-housing together for 2+ years, enjoying many brunch dates, music gigs, gaming wins and binges of trash tv series over the years. We are friendly, sociable, clean, creative and respectful housemates, who study at University and work part-time in Nursing, Marketing and IT. We are looking for some housemates with similar interests to team up and find a new home with us! Ideally you will have experience in a share-house and would like to sign on to the lease with us. We are currently searching for a large house with 4 + bedrooms, undercover or street parking, air-conditioning/ ceiling fans and an outdoor entertainment area. Our current lease ends early March, but we are flexible on the move in date. Our budget is up to $200 p/w each, and we are looking for a location within 5km of the CBD and walking distance to public transport. If you are interested please shoot me a message so we can meet up :)
I'm an accountant from Central Queensland. Also a newly qualified yoga teacher. I love dogs, hiking, swimming, baking and being outdoors . I'm tidy and considerate. I also have a 9y-o ridgebackX doggo who is well trained and very loveable.
I have a busy schedule as I study Environmental Management at UQ and work part-time for a local Council. I love cooking healthy food, shopping at famers' markets, going to music gigs, and doing various forms of exercise, such as running, swimming and yoga. I'm an outdoorsy person, so when I have spare time on the weekends, I like to escape the city by going for a bush walk or heading to the beach. I value living in a clean, tidy, welcoming, quiet and relaxed home environment. I'm a conscientious housemate and put effort into contributing to household duties. I'm always up for a chat, meal or drink, however, I do like my own space - especially after a long day or when I'm studying.
Hello there, My girlfriend Ana and I are interested in moving into a lovely house (apologies, no apartments, or townhouses) with another couple, couple of friends or an individual person. We both work full-time, Ana as a psychologist and myself in carpentry. We think we're pretty clean and tidy--Ana tells me that she thinks I have an admirable level of OCD when it comes to cleaning :P We enjoy having a friend or two over to catch up over tea, cake, drinks and other delicious foods that we enjoy cooking up together. We think we're also fairly considerate of noise/ others, and try to be mindful of others when they're home. I often camp at the coast every other weekend. We're fairly flexible when it comes to socialising--we enjoy a bit of banter, enjoy the occasional D&M but also respect that sometimes, we all just need our own space. We come with furniture too, the usual bedroom gear for us, and also a couch, washing machine, potentially a fridge and a number of indoor plants. We're ideally looking for an abode around the Milton, Paddington, Bardon sort of locale or nearby areas. And, we're *especially* interested in one of these options: a) Splitting the cost of a decent sized house with 3-4 bedrooms four way with another couple, or a couple of friends :) Ana does a bit of home office from time to time, so she requires a study; b) Occupying a granny flat by ourselves. But are open to other ideas too :) Feel free to contact myself on 0488 959 559 if you're interested to meet to see if we might be a good fit.
I'm a super friendly gal looking to move to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast into a private room. I am very respectful and keen to meet new, friendly people I can chill with (but at the same time can keep to myself and respect privacy). Having a year off to work before going back to studying next year (archaeology). I adore animals so I'm happy to live in a house with any. I love going out for coffee or a drink and exploring new places. If you're looking for someone to fill a room, send me a message! :)
My name is Grace, I'm 21, and I am starting my second degree in Mechanical Engineering at UQ. Friends would describe me as an outgoing introvert, so while I love socialising and being around others I also like my time alone. I have many hobbies including flying, music, soccer and camping. I am very adventurous and love the outdoors and like to keep my self busy. I work as a high school tutor although I will be looking for another part time job. I am respectful towards others spaces and in shared areas of the house and am generally pretty clean. I will also be spending my weekends back with my family in Noosa so I will only be around during the week for Uni.
Currently living in Mackay looking to move to Brisbane on 25th February 2019. I have a medium dog, she's wonderful, very friendly, gets a long with anyone and she has a lot of love to give, she is an outside dog. I also have a brand new ranger that I would prefer to keep garaged most of the time if possible. I will be moving with my car, my dog, myself and my belongings - no furniture. I would prefer somewhere already furnished. Now the fun stuff! I am 21 years old. I am mature for my age, I do still go out but not big on partying I prefer to stay home. I am clean, responsible, tidy, honest and respectful of others property. I will be moving with a fulltime contract working 38+ hours a week in Indooroopilly. I like fishing, adventuring, socialising, shopping, walking, eating, working out, reading and spending time with my dog. I’m very easy to get a long with, basically an open book, I love the simple things in life and just looking to start a new chapter really! I don’t smoke. Feel free to message me if you have any questions :)
Hey! I'm Harry. Looking to find somewhere for around late Feb - but my dates aren't definite & I can be flexible here. So about myself ; I work full time in community services, usually with one night a week on another side-job - so, I'm often out of the house. Don't smoke (but fine if you do). Fine with looking after living spaces / sharing jobs around the house. Not much of a cook but do *try* sometimes. Interests are foreign languages, reading, and film (anything here - documentaries, arthouse, trash-horror, foreign), and so it'd be great to find somewhere that this is a common interest. Definitely an introverted personality who values my own personal space, but can also be sociable, and would like a place that could have a social atmosphere from time to time. Also ; really need either off-street parking, or *available* street parking. Anyway - message if interested!
