Two's company, three's a share platter. We are two friends looking for one or two more people to share hommus with. Wait sorry scrap that... We are here to find an awesome housemate to find a home with. We are both easy going and respectful of space but also happy to do things as a house family. These can include (but not limited to) witty banter over dinner or a drink, outdoorsie stuff, movie nights, pottery classes and did we mention share platters!? Maddy: - Studying Secondary Education at QUT KG - Works at Getta Burger and Audrey’s music shop West End - Muso and book worm - Sociable and easy going - A lover of all beverages: tea, coffee, wine, beer…. The list goes on. (Owns a tea collection that would make your grandma blush) Nathan: - Legal assistant for a Law Firm - Budding fashion photographer in his spare time - All round creative and a fan of arts and crafts projects - Massive Mexican food lover - Esas son mamadas! - Enjoys spontaneous adventures out in nature (AKA taking the bins out to the curb)
Hey! We are looking for one or two others to start a share house. We're friendly, clean, tidy and respectful and looking for some likeminded people. We love coffee, music, design, travelling and the beach, and being from the Sunshine Coast we visit a bit! We are pretty chill during the week but like to adventure and be social on the weekends. Steph has just graduated in Business & Graphic Design and is working in administration and freelancing. Maddie is studying Business & Interior Design and works in hospitality. She has a beautiful and tame maremma sheepdog who will provide us with love! We are looking for someone respectful & clean who will be an active part of our household and enjoys a good wine night (:
Hi :) I'm Madeleine, a 27 year-old Registered Nurse, looking for a place to share with a few easy going & friendly housemates. I'm both house-trained and easy to live with, and like a healthy balance between having a chat with my fellow housemates and respecting eachother's space and privacy. Let me know if the above sounds like what you're after too :) Thanks! Madeleine
My name is Danielle and I'm 24. Iv recently moved to Brisbane from Central Queensland for work. I work full time Monday to Friday at an Accoutant. Im very clean, tidy, well mannered and well presented. I am very easy going and like to keep to myself. Iam after a place with my own bathroom and require parking.
Hi, I'm moving to Brisbane in late May (27th-31st approx) from Newcastle for work and looking for a granny flat (furnished preferably) or room in a share house (furnished or unfurnished) for approx 6 months. I'm easy going, clean, respectful, love eating out and socialising. I also enjoy nights at home too, cooking with maybe a glass of wine. I'm not a massive party person. I have a good rental history and always pay my rent/bills on time. I'm married, so ultimately I'd like to find a place where it's ok for my husband to come and visit every few weekends while he tries to get a transfer with his work. I think he's pretty awesome and I'm sure you will too. If you think I'd make a good tenant/flatmate please send me a message or email with some photos. Thanks :)
I'm looking for a house for myself, my partner and my beautiful dog Luna I'm a law student at QUT, and I also work full time at Energex. I'm very clean and tidy, love to cook and also love to socialise with housemates. My partner Reece has just arrived from the UK, and is amazing at cleaning a house tip to top haha! Together we are very quiet and respectful of other people's personal space but also very friendly and easy going. We've been together for three years now so no need to worry about early relationship bickering :) Our dog Luna is practically our baby, she's a husky x malamute but despite her breed is quite small, docile and placid and we have her as an inside dog who sleeps on my bed. She's very easy to live with and has lived in an apartment and a townhouse with no issues. We are looking for a home with a yard so she can run around and stretch her legs, a pool would be nice but is not at all required. Mostly we just want easy to live with housemates who can communicate with ease, ideally in the north or west suburbs. Thanks in advance!
Hello, I'm Tom. I'm 25 years old, originally from Tassie. I am currently finishing my undergrad in Exercise Science at UQ. When not studying I work as a bike fitter and bike mechanic in Woolloongabba. I enjoy sharing accomodation with other fit/active, and motivated students or professionals that don't hide in their rooms to play video games/avoid cleaning/eat junk food! I absolutely love living in Paddington! I've lived in 3 different houses over the last 3 years here, and wouldn't want to move to a different part of Brisbane! I'm looking for a house that has some relatively secure storage space (e.g. under the house, spare room or garage/shed) for some bikes and tools. Off street parking would be a big plus but by no menas essential. I'm anti-smoking, appreciate alcohol (formerly managed a cocktail bar) but rarely drink myself, and have no pets. I have my own bedroom furniture, and would be able to add a nice little coffee machine and grinder to the household too. On the weekends or time off I spend my time training for mountain bike races, hiking up a mountain or to a waterfall somewhere, reading or working on my car. Keen to move when I find the right place, I can give 2 weeks notice to leave my current share house at any time. Current housemates are the laziest people I have ever met, on many levels. So basically I just request that you be better than that and we'll get on fine :) If I sound like your kind of housemate, please invite me over to check out your room and meet your people!
I'm a country musician (but the cool kind of country). I have more pop culture quotes stored in my brain than actual important information. Love a good wine and cheese night. Binge watch Netflix with the best of them. Will pet all dogs I ever see. If you don't love Harry Potter, friends or Gilmore Girls it will be hard to be friends but my mama didn't raise no quitter. Looking to move in the week starting July 17th.
Pretty cruizy gal. I currently two jobs, one at a magazine publisher, the other at a sustainable fashion label and vintage store where i get to meet alot of creatives and be crafty. You'll probably find me at the beach, a gig, a market, cafe or opshop on the regular. I'm pretty independent, clean up after myself and considerate but am always down to hangout, eat good cheese and maybe down some wine on a nice porch couch. Into living sustainably and reducing plastics also! Ps I also have a very special shark pool so if you have a backyard that could accommodate this, you'll be looked upon favourably x
I am a 22 year old girl looking for a room in an easy going/clean/drama-free household until I move to the coast in mid July. I currently work full-time in a restaurant, so I am not home often at nights or on weekends and can pay my rent on time. I clean up after myself, respect people's space and privacy and enjoy socialising and getting to know my housemates. I am looking for a room from the end of April/early May (at the latest) until mid-July.
I am 28, working full time (Monday to Friday, 8-5), easy going and easy to live with. I'm clean and tidy and willing to have a chat and respect each others space. I will be moving into a place with a house full of furniture so a housemate need only bring themselves.
I grew up in Brisbane but have been travelling with work for the last 5 years. I am currently living in Cape Town and have a business here but need to come back to Brisbane for a while to handle another Start Up company. I gym after work everyday, so Im rarely home during the week. I love golf, beers and coffee. I love eating out at new places when I have time. I miss ramen big time! During the week I don't do much except work but my weekends are for everything else. Im super relaxed and nothing really bothers me, plus I'm busy a lot of the time. Im looking for a nice tidy place with a few people to hangout with every now and then and be able to chill with at the end of the day for a chat. Hopefully the place is big enough for some personal space as well. Im looking for a shared place as I don't know how long I will need to be back In Brisbane for. Its either 6 months or I might have to extend to 1 year.
Looking for one other female around similar age to live with, and preferably call a friend too! I'm super social and love a good chat. Work full time shift work in emergency services, and have finished post-grad uni. In my spare time I'm doing something outdoors and social. I'm bubbly, outgoing, and want someone laid back that's keen to check out the best breakfast places (and wineries and bars), and hang out together! The only downside to me is that I only come with my bedroom furniture, however am opening and willing to buy other household furniture. Also open to different suburbs, anywhere from the city, but no more northern than zillmere! Feel free to send me a message so we can work something out! :)
I am a respectful lad who can keep to himself as well as be a sociable housemate. I am reliable and tidy. I am a teacher and work full time. I am into heaps of things including music and football (soccer). I am currently living with a mate in Windsor and when our lease is up he is going to move in with his girlfriend. Lease ends around the 10th of June 2017. Ideally I am looking for a sharehouse but would consider renting my own 1 bedroom place. Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you have any questions just ask..
I love people, often happy to hang out but also value personal space (my own and others) greatly. Looking for a clean, welcoming house to move into while I study (next ~4 years). The cleanliness of the common areas of a house is super important to me, and hopefully to my future housemates.
Hello! Stating the obvious, my name is Olivia and I'm 19. I consider myself low maintainance and am looking to live with respectful people who are the same, social and laidback. I have a love for all things environmental and natural and I choose to live in a way which reflects that. I enjoy going for the odd run with my pup and having fun, but I'm also very balanced as I work fulltime and enjoy being in a clean household. Working in dentistry means I'm away from the house for nearly 12 hours a day, 4 days a week. Then on the weekends, I work as a barista at a gluten free cafe in west end! So I'll rarely be in your hair. I usually spend my day off catching up with friends or completely vegging out to be honest. My fulltime employment means stability for both myself and you as I am guarenteed to pay rent/bills on time. My pup is a 1 year old mini foxy, she's completely house trained, loves cuddling and gets on well with any animals. She's not the stereotypical small, yappy dog either! I can guarantee you'll fall in love. I also have two chickens which will provide us with fresh eggs all year round! Please don't let my age be a deterant as I've been living out of home and renting for 4 years. Wanting to move asap!!! Thanks!
I HAVE TWO BURMESE CATS - who are every everything to me. I am looking for somewhere to call home for about 6 months. I work full time in emergency services, work long hours and therefore looking for somewhere fairly quiet. Friendly down to earth and easy going. I am clean and tidy and a non smoker (cannot live with smokers).
Hey! I've recently started working full time in IT in the inner city and am looking to move closer to work. I'm pretty easygoing and tidy, and looking for similar people. I enjoy having a chat and being social but also like time to myself. Ideally it would be good to meet some new friends to live with!
My flatmate and I are both responsible, neat and tidy. We clean up after ourselves and would expect the same in a flatmate. We like both keeping to ourselves and having a chat but have no preference on the kind of person we would like to live with. I've selected I work full time but I actually choose my own hours and don't work too much as I earn enough when I do. My flatmate just moved back to Brisbane and is currently waiting on her Centerlink to come in and/or get a new job, she has savings in the meantime. I have most of the furnishings for a new house already or will be purchasing what else it is we need. We would be looking for a house with a backyard and garage too, if possible. And if there is a master bedroom I'll be taking that along with additional rent. Everyone would be going on the lease and equally contributing to the bond, if you did want to leave before the end date you would just need to find someone to fill your room yourself who gets along with everyone or give us 28 days notice to find someone to fill the room.
Hi! I'm looking to find a great new share house. I had great success finding cool house mates the first time I tried this in 2014 and am hoping to strike lucky again. A little about me - My name is Leighann and I'm a 26y/o female. I'm currently working full-time hours across two jobs (retail and barista). I finished a degree in Education last year and am interested in community work, so am currently looking for more long-term work in those areas. I'm interested in travel (lived in Canada for 18-months recently) and the outdoors, and am always up for a new adventure. I'm an ambivert and enjoy both having some alone time to chill and unwind as well as hanging out with housemates and having a chat or doing something fun. I am very respectful of other's space but also enjoy having a friendly household vibe and hanging out with housemates, having a drink, playing board games or just watching some terrible reality television and hating ourselves afterwards for it. I'm not looking for a non-stop party house but I'm also not looking for a 'bedtime at 8:30pm, including weekend' type of house. A quieter weekday vibe and more energetic weekend one would be perfect. I'd ideally like to live with people similar to myself, who respect hermit-time but enjoy hanging out and being social, are relaxed and are up to try something new. I'm well house-trained and would expect my housemates to be, too. I'm respectful but relaxed about myself/housemates having friends over (aka not a nazi but would like some notice of a big gatho). I do have a partner (who is also very respectful) and would like to live somewhere where I don't get the side-eye for having him over a couple times a week to chill out and cook or binge on a tv-show. In return, I promise not to side-eye you for exploring your right as an adult to respectfully enjoy your free-time as you see fit! I would be looking for a room for anywhere from a minimum of 6 months until up to February 2018. Would prefer a room about 150-160 p/w, but prepared to spend up to 180 p/w on the right place! The right household vibe is the most important thing to me. If this sounds like you/your household, I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Leighann
