Hello there, My name is Shafia and I am looking for a room to rent with easy-going and tidy individuals. A little about me: * My current tenancy expires end of July but I'm happy to move around a month or so earlier (negotiable if I find a good fit) * I'm 32, a registered nurse and work in the mental health space. * My main love in life is travelling * Other hobbies and interests- dance, natural health/medicine, comic books and associated movies, GOT, the outdoors, good food and good company. * Personality- I get along easily with most people. I guess you'd call me a mix of intro/extrovert. Have a bit of a wicked sense of humour once you get to know me. I work hard and hence travel hard. * Behaviours- I'm super clean and tidy. Im a bit of a health nut. Practically a non-drinker but enjoy the odd red wine/s. I'm pretty quiet at home and tend to spend most of my time at work, at the gym or with friends on the weekends, but enjoy a good chat and food with housemates too. I will be starting a new job in Sept which will be contract nursing, so I may be away for some periods of time on short contracts. Totally happy to live with any animals in the home and welcome it since I don't have my own due to how much time I spend away. Hope to find some cool people to live with :)
Hey! I’m Steph. I’m friendly, clean, tidy and respectful and looking for some likeminded people to live with. I like to have a social and an active household, while also being respectful of each others space. I enjoy a bev on the weekends or going for adventures, and I work during the week. I've just come back from working the ski season and traveling in NZ, and I'm now working as a digital designer. I love coffee, music, design and travelling. Swing me a message if we’d be a good fit :) I'm looking to move around the end of July - start of August.
My name is Joss, I am a 27 year old and I have just sold my first house. I have been living here in Bardon for 5 years... I love being close to the city but still having the neighbourhood feeling. I work full time in solar energy during the week so I'm always out and about and busy during the week and I like to relax and play music or hang out with friends on weekends. On Thursdays I play an acoustic set at the YHA Pub and sometimes I spend some time on the Sunshine Coast.
A very friendly, positive and outgoing person, from Finland, who gets along with people easily, is looking for a place to stay at least for 6 months starting from 15th of June! :) I can be talkative, but I also know how to be quiet, so if you want to be alone, I respect that. But if you want to have fun, talk, go shopping, to cafe etc, I'm in! :) I don't smoke, and I don't have pets with me. Though it is okay if you have pets! I am a responsible person, so I will clean after myself, and like that also others keep common rooms clean. Please send me a message if you have rooms to offer which will match my criteria! Or if you are seeking a flatmate with who to rent some place! :) I will work as an intern at The Gap area, so preferably accommodations maximum 1h travel time to/from there. FURNISHED rooms! Ps. Even though I am "just" an intern, I do have enough money to live in Brisbane, if I would not have, I would not come :) So please do not think, that because I am an intern, I will not have money to pay rent etc. That's the wrong assumption.
I'm gay, clean, tidy, respectful, quiet and love having binge fests on Netflix. I dont smoke or do drugs, I also don't have any pets and I rarely drink but when I do it's just a couple when I go out with friends. I also work on a permanent casual basis as a cleaner and looking to study whilst working in the near future. Looking for a smoke and pet free place to live at the end of my lease finishing July 29 (Can move in with-in the last week). I have a preference for my own bathroom and off street parking, happy to negotiate higher rent to obtain those.
My name is Cheyenne, I'm a Canadian/Australian Registered Nurse working full-time. Easy going but still reliable and tidy. I enjoy going outdoors for adventures and am partial to a few drinks on the weekend. I am looking for a place where I can bring my 5 year old male Golden retriever Leroy. He's a super calm de-sexed dog who just loves people and is used to roaming in and out of the house. I leave him happily in the backyard (fenced yard required) when I'm at work but he likes to hang out inside when I'm home. He's not a barker/doesn't have any bad behaviors! So I'm in need of some dog loving house mates! I also have two cars so am in need of a place with lots of off street/street parking! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions :) Cheers, Cheyenne
Hi there :) After a few years of living on my own, I'm missing the social aspect of sharing a house and am looking for some like-minded people to find a place with. I prefer sharing a house instead of unit. I'm easy going and respectful of people and their space. I like to have a chat over glass of wine or chill out and watch some trashy TV. I have a gorgeous cat named Alfie (everyone that meets him falls in love!) and my only requirement is for the house to be off any main roads to keep him safe, and obviously allow pets on the lease. I've tried but unfortunately he cannot live with dogs. I have all major appliances and furniture, flexible with the move-in dates (I'm on a periodic lease) and am happy to consider housemates of any gender, age, sexual orientation or nationality.
I am both a full time worker ( both chef & content marketer) and full time student - you will hardly see me! I spend most of my time at the library or at a rented office in the city. When I am around, i like to watch movies, cook dinner and share a glass of wine with my flatmates if they want to hang out. I'm into hiking and camping and occasionally make a weekend trip away. I'm kind of a quiet person (probably due to the study) and like a quite environment (not a party house) I respect your space and belongings and appreciate the same in return. I'm tidy, non smoker and no pets.
Hey all, I'd like to express my interest in a room for rent. I moved to Brisbane 6 months ago from Cardiff, Wales. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but have emigrated here for a job opportunity. I work for the greatest team in Queensland, obviously that being the Brisbane Broncos... I’m employed as their strength and power coach, so if you think they’re looking weak, that’s on me! About me I'm 33 years old (feel much younger). Like most I probably work too much and should strike a better work/life balance. I'm a very social person, but also very respectful of others need to have their own space and time. I like the odd drink, but prefer a bar/some live music rather than the clubs. Movies, sport, reading etc... are all hobbies that take up most of my down time. Much like anyone else I have interests in travel, adventure and experiencing the finer things life has to offer. All being well, if interested, I'm available to view anytime that suits! Cheers, Ryan
Hi there, I'm relocating to Brisbane in June and looking for a room to rent or someone to teamup with. I'm very easy going, I work during the week and I like to make the most of my weekends having fun and adventures hanging out with friends, watching live music, or being in nature. I am a massage therapist and counsellor, I do contract work and run my own business. I appreciate living in a friendly, respectful and clean environment. I pretty openminded and flexible and try not to take life so seriously, I value communication and taking responsibility for one's self. I like to hang out with my roomies and have the odd beer or glass of wine, and I also like time to myself for yoga, to listen to music, read or watch movie. I enjoy cooking and being in the garden... if you have a veggie garden that would be amazing! I love animals, I have a dog but she is living on the farm so my new place doesn't have to be dog friendly. I'm not a smoker, but I have the occasional social smoke on the weekends so I'm fine with either smoking/non-smoking homes. I would love to find a new home that's got a bit of a yard or surrounded by trees (or close to parks), in a quietish area, with some storage space and wardrobe/cupboards in the room. I'm looking to share with down-to-earth, conscious people, who enjoy making the most out of life and having fun. My move date and length of stay is flexible. I look forward to hearing from and getting to know my new flatmates! Steph :)
I'm experienced living in sharehouses, considerate of others, and pay my share of rent and bills on time. I'm happy to do my share of cleaning, and contact the real estate agents with any issues. I'm also big on communication, as I know sharehouses don't function properly without good communication. Please note, I have a dog so I'm looking for someone to live with who likes animals. Also, I have started to look at places to live and applied to two today. If you're interested in starting a new share house with me please get in touch and I'll send you the link to the places:-)
Hey! I'm Nicole! I'm a super out going, vibrant 23 year old that's always down for a hang and a drink or driving up a mountain or out to a forest. I absolutely love astrology and the universe and I probably know more conspiracy theories than you hahahahha. Im a clean person so you don't need to worry about that, I love all animals too so if you have a pet, they'll be loved! I'm looking to move out of my parents home and get life started properly!
Hey :) My name is Caity and I'm currently studying a Dual Bachelor's Degree of Human Resource Management and Psychology at QUT (Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point Campuses). I also work part-time at a Paediatric Psychology and Psychiatry Clinic in Spring Hill (just about to move to Paddington). I cook, bake and am pretty active; swim, play tennis, and love a bit of hot yoga. Not a massive partier - prefer a couple of beers or a glass of wine. I'm single, a non-smoker and keep a pretty clean room - also happy to clean shared spaces as well. I don't have any pets, but am fine if you have pets - love animals. I've lived with both guys and girls in a pretty varied range of situations; lived with 7 guys in the UK, and in a couple of apartments with both guys and girls, so no preference on gender. Keen to make friends but am also pretty introverted so don't mind keeping to myself - whatever works for you guys. I have a car so street parking at least would be preferable. I'd be looking to move in around 11th of July - I know this is a bit far away, but figured I'd at least start looking :) I'd be keen to find a place to stay for at least 6 months or more.
Hi! I'm a 22 year old Swede, moving to Brisbane to study interior design. I would call myself a spontaneous and social person who likes to be out and about, but still have those days when I prefer to chill infront of the tv. Back home in Sweden I have a group of close friends who I hang out with most of my free time, and we usually do things like playing boardgames, watching a horror movie or going to a bar or club. About once a month I go on hikes or out in the forest for one day and I hope to do some what similar activities in Brisbane too. I've lived in shared flats since I moved out of mom's, and I'm currently sharing a one bedroom with my mate's boyfriend (I know, it sounds weird but works fine). I wouldn't call my self a neat-freak but I have no problem with keeping my space clean and I love to have my things organized and in it's place.
Hello! I am a full student at QUT studying Interactive Visual Design, Animation, and Advertising. I also work casual in retail, and internship a few days at a design agency… As you can tell I am a busy person, but I am still social (not that going out yahooing type), the indoor drinks and games kind of guy… I am seriously easy to get along with, and fully request house rules, privacy etc. I can clean up after myself, and happy to pitch in with the house cleaning…
Hi I'm Ashlea. I'm 27 recently moved up from the Gold Coast. I'm currently working full time as a paramedic. I work shift work and it's different hours every week. So I'm in and out of the house all the time. I am originaly from Melbourne so will often go back on my days off. I am a sociable person and always up for a drink after a long day at work, But also respect people personal space. I am a clean and tidy person and and am looking for a place with similar people :)
Hey, I'm Sarah. I'm a clean, tidy, respectful kind of person. I am fairly low key in the sense I don't party/stay out late, but I love a good conversation/drink. Outside of work I love to exercise, catch the odd foreign film, catch up with friends, and relax with a Netflix marathon. I'm originally from NZ but have been in Brisbane now for four years.
Hi! Keen to team up with someone likeminded to find and share a Qlder cottage or similar somewhere green with a deck and garden. I work full time + some nights at GOMA and do a fair bit besides so would love home to really be a peaceful home home. I have some adult house stuff (couch, table and chairs, washing machine +). My current lease runs out 7 July but happy to move anytime in the month before. Me: art, literature, circus, bushwalking, wine, cheese, making things, watching things I would love a housemate up for the odd meal/tea/wine/chat about books and feminism/handstand/hike, but not be offended if a good chunk of the time I face-plant on my bed and turn into a Netflix zombie, or shut my door and write. If that sounds youish, please message! If that sounds youish and you also have coeliac or want to live in a completely gluten-free home, please, please, please message! It would be magical if I could live with someone willing to help me not get poisoned by crumbs! Yours in hope that the unicorn housemate and house exists, Chloë
