Full time working mum of a 16 month old boy looking for someone to share a place with. I work at the University Hospital 8:30-5pm and have a very chilled out home life even with my crazy toddler sidekick. Have pretty much a whole house of furniture sitting in storage so not a lot needed and more than happy to give up the ensuite if there is one to ensure you have your own space. Not entirely picky on a suburb but would prefer either walking distance to work or walking distance to a beach.
Hey my name is Nathan and I am looking for a nice house share around the Sunshine Coast for a minimum of around 6 months. I am 26 and am originally from the UK. I have just recently moved up to the Sunshine coast from Brisbane. I am a full time restaurant manager who enjoys cycling, swimming and hanging out in my spare time. I am looking to move before the 28th January.
We just moved back over to Australia and will be working full time. We are easy going, active and tidy. In our free time we love to be outside surfing, skating or wakeboarding.
Respectful, clean and trustworthy. I'm a full-time student and part-time worker (including night shift). Looking for a quiet place that's close to SCUH (short bike ride) and conducive to study and sleep. I don't mind socialising with housemates as long as we remain respectful of each others quiet time. A party house won't suit me. I would prefer a long-term agreement if possible. Rental references available. Granny flats, studios or share house with 2-3 residents :-) Please message me if you think your place is suitable. Thanks
We are super friendly and easy to get along with. We both live active lives that keeps us busy throughout the day. We are not the type of people that go out every weekend due to a studies, work and gym. We're always up for a good chat and know when to give space if needed.
Hey! I’m a 26 year old doctor from the UK originally. I’m moving from the outback to work at SCUH in January, and am looking for somewhere to rent. My hours are pretty variable but I’m respectful of others with this, and could sleep through most things myself! I do smoke, but would only ever do this outside and away from any open doorways. I’m not looking just to move in and hide in my room- I’d like to get to know and socialise with my flat mates ideally! When I’m not working I like exploring, watching terrible television and the odd glass of wine (or 6!) Pretty much an open book, feel free to ask anything :)
Update: 12.01.2018 There is only one month left and I will be coming to Australia ! About me: My name is Maximilian and I am a 23-year old student from Germany. I am going to study for one semester at the University of the Sunshinecoast, semester 1 2018. I will be arriving in Mid-February 2018. I am looking for a room until the end of June 2018, so for around 5 months. It would be great to live in a place that welcomes international students. I like to play volleyball and skateboarding. I am a beginner in surfing and I can imagine to go on with surfing at the beaches of the Sunshine Coast. During the week-ends, it would be great to explore the Sunshine coast and its surrounding places. Looking for shared rooms with local Australians, internationals and open for Homestay. Personally, I would love to live in the neighbourhood of the university because I would like to take the chance to live together with local Australians, preferred location: beachside. If you are interest to welcome an international student, I am looking forward to hearing from you. I would love to have a room before arriving so a Skype call would be an option to get to know each other better ;) Maximilian
I'm a cool, cruisey laid back guy! I can cook like a chef and clean like a cleaner, i'm extremely respectful of other peoples space... I am always up for a drink and an afterwork chat with my roommates! I'm a bartender/barista... I'm a well rounded person who is genuinely a good bloke to live with! Cheers
My name is Mandy i'm 31 and a working professional. Looking to move to the beautiful Sunshine Coast. I just spend some time in Alex over the Xmas period and have decided to make the move. The people are lovely and the lifestyle is so relaxed. I am into fitness and the outdoors. Love to laugh and joke around. Very relaxed and easy to get along with. I am clean and tidy and cook for myself (or order Youfoodz). I am currently working in commercial leasing. I hit the gym most days and would be home late most nights. Am looking for people around my age. I really need something furnished (light traveller lol) but can furnish my own room. Want someone like minded who likes their own space but is also keen to hit the markets/breaky/have a bevy/or series marathons haha. PS: not looking for team ups, just want to slide into something. Mandy
Junior doctor moving down from the North Queensland. Originally from Japan but has been living in Australia for over 10 years now. Graduated from UQ. Will be quite busy with work but I do like to socialise. I have my own fridge and washing machine I want to bring down so probably not ideal to move into one of the already set up share houses. Clean and tidy. Likes few drinks in the weekend. Enjoys going to gym, playing guitar and going on hikes. Really looking forward to the glasshouse mountains. I've lived by myself for past half year but shared housed for almost 10 years before that so I'm used to living with others.
Hello, I am a new graduate Registered Nurse and start at SCUH on the 26th of February. I'm moving from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. I will be working a lot (shift work) but during my time off I enjoy the gym, relaxing by the beach and socialising with friends. Not the partying type, but social drinker. I’m respectful, reliable and tidy. Ideally I would like to move mid february or earlier, but I’m flexible. Looking for a place close to SCUH or near the beach.
-CLEAN, QUIET AND TIDY are the 3 adjectives that would summarize myself- Hi Guys, Thanks for stopping by my profile My name is Tychus and I am a junior doctor who will be working at the new Sunshine Coast University Hospital. I am originally from Indonesia but have been in Australia since the age of 19. Currently 28 y.o and have practically lived in share houses since the age of 19 – therefore I definitely am aware of the ins and outs of living with other people and more than happy to share house works. Other things about me: - Friendly and considerate - Respect others’ privacy - Predictable schedule (Sleep, Work, Exercise, Study / except on Saturday and Sunday where I’d go to Brisbane to do my research) - Definitely not a party person. I enjoy a quiet peaceful home and a friendly housemate. - I don’t really invite people home but not because I am arrogant! It is because I am currently focusing on my research. =) - Don’t drink nor smoke I do not have pet. I have a bike. I will be getting a car. I am looking for a long term accommodation (9 months minimum) and would really love to live with people with the similar attributes. If you think that id fit into your lovely home, please do let me know and I would love to arrange a meet up. Thanks for reading guys and I would love to hear back from you. Kind regards, Tychus
Hi there! I'm Sarah and I am currently looking for a room on the Sunshine Coast. I work full time as a physiotherapist in Kawana, am clean and considerate, easy to live with (6 years at boarding school and a couple on college has helped there!) and enjoy a wine or two. I love running, hiking, Pilates and generally keeping active. I'm quite social but also just as happy to chill out on my own. I can move in on short notice so please feel free to get in contact :) Strengths: can cook, I don't like mangoes (more for you), tall for reaching top cupboard. Weaknesses: yet to discover (just kidding it's puppies/Princess Diaries).
Hello 😊 I am a new graduate RN and start at SCUH on 19th February. I am also a speech pathologist. I'm currently working as an AIN while waiting for my RN registration to be processed (most shifts are at SCUH). I work a lot and spend my time off relaxing with family and close friends, enjoy the beach, camping and fishing. I'm not big on partying but am sociable. I would be interested in moving in around Saturday 27th January or early February. I am looking for a place close to SCUH (Birtinya) so I can walk to work. Cheers, Brooke
Hi Potential Housemates! I’m a clean, easy going guy. Quite happy to socialise with new housemates but enjoy time to myself also. Not a huge drinker but when the occasion arises I can knock back a couple. I enjoy the beach, hiking, cycling, tennis and go to gym regularly. Happy to answer any questions. Cheers George
Hi! I'm Oliver, I'm 42, shift worker @ Kewana. I’m looking to either move into a place with roommates or find people who would like to rent out a house/unit. And who work full time/part time as well. I'm currently looking for a place, for a period of 6-12 months. I am very clean and tidy, respectful, easy going, a non-smoker and love time to myself & with family. I am very rarely at home other than to sleep. I live a physically active lifestyle outside of my shift work, and on days off I enjoy going to the gym, hiking, and spending time with like-minded people... If you have any questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to email me directly. Look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards Oliver😊
Hello! My name is Sandy. I'm from Canada and studied medicine at UQ. I'll be heading up to the Sunny Coast to start working as an intern doctor. I'm super neat and tidy. I've been living with others for over 10 years now, so I'm a veteran housemate. I'm happy to chat with my housemates and hang out. However, I also like having alone time in my room. I try to eat healthy and I love to run. I also love the beach and attempting to surf. I'm thinking about getting a cat. :)
