Hi there! My name is Lindel, and I am looking for a long term room /studio/flat/granny flat rental in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Health Sciences at Deakin. At home, I am clean, friendly, and keep to myself a fair bit, I can strike up conversation, but I know when to give my flatmates their space. I love to cook and study, among other things. I also pay my rent on time, and am willing to pitch in with my bit for the house to run smoothly!
Hi Guys, I'm 27 years old and currently work full time as a car salesman. I will be moving down to Melbourne towards the end of February. I like basketball, movies and just generally chilling. I usually keep to myself but can also be very social. Essentially I'm looking for people that are chill or relaxed as well. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Thanks for reading!
We are respectful, tidy and easy going. I (Aimee) work full-time managing a gym, in my spare time I go for walks with friends, to the gym or for brunch, Kev works full-time as an antenna technician, in his free time he likes to go to the gym, to the beach and play his PlayStation. We love to travel and have lived O/S. We are looking for a modern rental property with one or two other people who are easy going, respectful and tidy. We are not a couple that is attached at the hip, we do our own thing but also enjoy quiet nights in watching movies (happy to do so in our own room). If we sound like the right housemates for you, let us know :) Aimee and Kev
I am a professional researcher, tidy and clean. I am friendly, helpful around the property, I get along with most people and we can have good chats if that suits. Yet, I also respect other people's privacy since I need my own space too. I have shared with a variety of people, including doing a small amount of house sitting, for many years. So, I can look after and be useful around a house and property. I am also concerned about the environment so I try to recycle and save on utilities and protect the environment. I don't have any pets but I get along with pets very well. No smokers inside or outside, since it affects me badly. I can move anywhere that is within biking distance from a train station.
I work full-time at a cafe (sometimes I bring home food) and when I'm not there I'm usually drawing or painting. I'm looking for a place that's unfurnished (or storage enough to put all of my stuff) and I would like to move in by the 21st of January. I'm pretty tidy and super chill. I don't drink, smoke, nor do drugs.
Hi, my name is Tim, I'm 41 years old, I work full time on afternoon shift in the printing industry. (So you'd have the place to yourself in the evenings). I am eating a plant based diet and am into a healthy lifestyle, I go to the gym when I can usually in the morning. I love to travel I recently got back from Cambodia checking out Angkor Wat. I also like socialising with my friends and making new friends. I consider myself to be a friendly happy person I also like to keep the house clean, neat and tidy.
We are a fun couple who both work part time and both study full time. Nathan is completing a bachelors degree and Georgia is starting a maters. We come with a small domestic cat.
Hey I'm Nick. I work fulltime as a Technician for a small ISP company, but when I'm not working I spend most my time playing and making music. I would love to share a place with some creative types, peeps who understand the need to be a complete hermit from time to time to explore a creative itch :) Apart from that, I'm a reliable, trustworthy human being (unlike some decrepit beings), have no problems paying bills, can cook and enjoy a semi-social life. I'm pretty open minded and defo more on the chill side but do enjoy a beer from time to time and talking shiz. Hit me up if this sounds like you.
I am coming back from an exchange in Amsterdam and I need a new place to live while I complete my final year of university! I am studying sustainability and environmental management at Deakin, Burwood. I had a casual job at McDonalds which I'm sure I will be able to get back, but if not, my centrelink payments and savings are more than enough to pay for my rent until I find a new one. I have lived in three different share houses since moving out at 18 and have always paid my rent on time. I am a very organised and clean person and I would like to share a house with just one, two or perhaps three housemates that also know how to clean up after themselves. I also have a pet snake, I always keep her enclosure in my room. I know that not everyone is comfortable with the idea of living with a snake, and if so I promise you will never have to see her.
I'm a young working professional looking for a place to stay (6 months min to long term). I work in Surrey Hills, so prefer to live nearby. I have my own bed and furniture so I'm open to an unfurnished room. I'm an easy going girl and looking for a quiet place to share with females only.
Hi I'm a final year medical student, doing my rotations at the Box Hill hospital and Monash Medical Centre. I would prefer a room in Box Hill or Blackburn area for approximately 5 months.
Hi :) - I work full time Monday-Friday + overtime & ×1 Saturday a month in Operations/Logistics at a job I enjoy, so I would be out & about most days, and home most nights - I am a clean & tidy person by nature, a fairly clean home environment is important to me. I am happy to hand-wash dishes/don't require a dishwasher - I don't have a pet, but I love animals and would happily live with others' pets! - I live a fairly quiet and relaxed home life, I may occasionally bring over a guest or two, but do most of my socialising out at movies/coffee/gigs with friends - I love seeing live music, cooking & baking, hiking and dumplings!
Hi, I'm Jess, twin sisters with Demi. We are willing to pay $140 each per week. Together we are hoping to move out of our student accommodation where we have been living the last two years into private rental, as I have completed my studies. I am currently seeking full-time work before applying to the Police Academy - not home often. My sister, Demi, is currently studying a Bachelor of International Studies, while employed as a casual. We love art, baking, games, binge watching series and getting outdoors. We're non-smokers, we welcome drinkers but non-drinkers ourselves, no pets full time but we would allow animals in when needed. Looking to share an internet account and looking for somewhere relatively close to shops and public transport - currently don’t own a car. We are mature, friendly and enthusiastic people that are looking for someone to share memories with, and have fun but also respect privacy. In the household we need trust and communication, while keeping things clean through shared efforts of the household.
Book worm, wine and diner, if I didn't have tattoos I'd try my hand at being a flight attendant cause more than half my salary is spent on travel. Eco-living as a personal choice but living within means. Love to reuse and recycle. Flea markets and second hand stores rock my world. (I say this but I don't buy things too often anymore). Live at the library. Like to cook. Will respect your space but up for a chat too. :) I like cats too. So bonus if you have one. Also enjoy the company of any furry creature as long as its not an insect or arachnid, venomous or poisonous. Edit: please don't call me on my mobile, contact through this website please. Thanks :)
Looking for a temporary place to stay while we wait for some friends to return from overseas (we’re planning to get a rental property with them). We’re usually very busy professionals so you won’t see much of us. We love to relax and watch Netflix and cook yummy meals in our downtime.

Hi. Im a 51year old male, who is considerate to others, and am looking for a quite place to live in, as I am in a shared hostel with 10 others, and I would like to be closer to my sister who is in Blackburn south. thank you
I love to connect with you if you like to talk anything but superficial stuff. I am a very ambitious person and keep myself extremely busy. I love it clean but also peaceful and mostly quiet at home. But its nice if we can share dinner from time to time and just relax.
Hey guys! Currently putting the feelers out for a new place to live! I'm originally from country New South Wales, having moved to Melbourne in May 2016 to chase some bigger career opportunities. I currently work in retail and am thinking about going back to study engineering/land surveying. I'm a very laid back guy, not much phases me. I enjoy the footy, adventuring and exploring my new surroundings, reading, the occasional netflix binge, gaming, gymming, and hitting the town for a drink or fourteen. My work schedule is Sunday to Thursday at this stage, just your standard 9 to 5 deal. I've lived in sharehouses for years so I know how they operate in terms of cleanliness and general consideration for others. Oh and I pay my rent and bills on time! Flick me a message if you would like to know more or to organise a catch up! Cheers! Ryan.
I am a 25 year old studying my Master of Environment part time at Melbourne Uni. I do dog walking and pet sitting for work. I have 2 indoor cats, Tallulah and Nala. I love spending time with animals, reading, beer or wine with friends, the environment, TV shows, vegan food and Pokemon Go. I'm looking for a room in the eastern suburbs, close to public transport. I am flexible re: move in date, though would like to move in the next couple of months. I have been living in sharehouses for the past 7 years. I clean up after myself and my cats. I enjoy a chat over a drink or meal with housemates, but am respectful of your personal space. I'm looking to pay up to about $600/pcm. Please shoot me a PM if you think me and my 2 lovely cats might gel with your household! Cheers!
I'll just start with the basics: I'm a 22 year old male who's just started his carpentry apprenticeship. I enjoy social gatherings and roommate nights. I also like to have my own personal space, as I assume everyone else does from time to time. Keeping the house clean is one of my priorities. I also like to draw, so if don't see me for a while, that'll probably be what I'm doing. I only need room for a desk, queen bed and bedsuite, I do have a pet baby snake (called Fawkes) who will be kept in my room :) I'm available to move in from 18/1/19. Hope to hear back from you all soon! (P.s try to ignore my profile pic I don't really have many photos of myself) Kind regards, Sam Russell.
I'm in my current share house until February which is when our lease is up. Ideally I am looking for people who would like to start a new lease. A little bit about me I am currently working full time at Dan Murphy's and coach tennis throughout the week as well. Next year I will be studying full time as well as working full time so I won't be to much of a nuisance in the house! I like to keep the house clean and tidy, respect peoples privacy but also enjoy the occasional banter and chat. I'm pretty easy going and generally not home a lot during the days, do enjoy the Netflix binge and occasional drink with friends on the weekend. if you are interested in joining together to start a share house in January/February feel free to shoot me a message if you think we'll be great flatmates!
Hey! I'm a medical student who has been posted around Box Hill for this year. I have previously lived in a shared house with students. I keep my own room and the living area tidy. And do light cooking once a while. I'm looking to rent a room for 2019, and I'm looking for other students to share a house with or rent a room in a current sharehouse. I'm friendly and easy to get along with as well.
