Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm moving to Canberra around mid January. I will be working full-time at DHS. I'm looking for an accommodation for at least 6 months to 1 year+. I'm neat and respect personal spaces. I cook nearly everyday, workout often and enjoy making cocktails on the weekends. P.S. I prefer private bathroom, no smoking indoor.
I'm a full time IT guy in the public sector who has being in Canberra for about a year now. I'm pretty out and about socially but am also fond of chilling out in my room after work or having a quiet dinner and board game/TV night with friends. A few of the things I have being enjoying in Canberra is going hiking and picnicking in the national parks, I'll basically live at the snow once the season is back in and otherwise enjoy the occasional weekend down at the coast in the warmer part of the year. One of my current hobbies is seeing how much chocolate I can cram into various baked goods. I like to keep a tidy house and am looking for people who also enjoy tidiness as well as a healthy mix of sociability and privacy :)
A bit about me... I'm originally from London, UK and have been living in Aus for 4 years now - I love it here! I work full-time in conference/event planning, and in my spare time I enjoy salsa dancing, attending bootcamp classes and weekend trips to the coast. I also enjoy a nice glass of wine, great food (not my own cooking!) and a good cup of tea! My current lease is coming to an end soon, as such, I'm now looking for a room to rent in the city for approx. 6 - 9 months. My preference would be a room with an ensuite in an apartment/house sharing with one or two others. As a flatmate, I'm reliable, tidy and social but will also respect your space. If there is anything else you would like to know about me, feel free to ask =).
A bit about me: My name is Nicole, I am 30-years-old, and I am originally from Newcastle, NSW. I studied Honours last year at the University of Melbourne, and in 2019 I am moving to Canberra to start a PhD at ANU. My research is in the area of sociology/gender studies. I am a vegetarian. I enjoy riding my bike sometimes. I am very community-minded. I don't mind getting out and about, e.g. checking out walking trails, bike paths, nightlife and restaurants/cafes, and I am looking forward to exploring Canberra! What I am looking for: A room in a share house (budget $200) close to ANU. A place within riding distance of the university and/or close to public transport would be ideal. I do not have a car, so do not require a parking space. A house with central heating would be ideal for those cold Canberra winters! The room can be furnished or unfurnished, I am flexible. A shared bathroom is fine with me. I intend to do a lot of cooking this year, thus a fully-equipped kitchen and plenty of fridge/freezer space would be ideal. I am indifferent about whether or not there is a garden, but if there is, I don't mind contributing to growing veggies. I can adapt to both quiet and social houses, however I am not much of a "party-goer" and I do like a quiet house at sleeping hours. I enjoy an occasional drink and friendly banter with housemates. If you think I sound like a good fit, feel free to contact me!

I am clean, quiet and usually like to do my own thing, but having a good relationship with my flatmates is important so I like to be social too. I work near the airport and am looking for accommodation around that area. Hello! I've just finished my Masters in Cultural Material Conservation in Melbourne and am moving (back) to Canberra to fill a 9 month contract at the National Library of Australia. I've lived in Canberra previously and really love this city. I'm looking for a house that's friendly and cheerful. I'm a social person and love having the odd dinner party or house party. But, overall, I am a massive homebody and love a place to retreat to- somewhere calm and tranquil would be amazing! I'm vegetarian but am fine with being in a house where meat is cooked.
Hi! I am moving to Canberra and I will be working full time in the public service next year. I am friendly and easy to get along with. I enjoy cooking and will always clean up after myself. Hi! I've lived in Canberra for two years and I'm looking for a place close to civic. I have recently graduated with a Masters' from ANU and will be starting work soon. Right now, I'm a research intern at a think tank and work part-time hours. During my free time, I enjoy yoga, climbing, and a good chat. I am clean, tidy and respectful. Would love to share a space with someone who cherishes similar values. Looking for a share house and/or potential team-ups. ps: Moving date and the limit on people I'd like to share a house with are flexible Thank you x
I am a quiet and courteous guy from regional Australia (Bunbury) moving to Canberra to start as a graduate in the Department of Education and Training. I love exploring by walking/hiking and hope to have roommates who enjoy the same (and who might explore Canberra with me). I am learning to cook and would be open to sharing meals and having conversations with my flatmates. Most importantly, I am clean and smoke/drug free and would need my roommates to be the same. Otherwise, I am friendly and open for chats and the occasional gathering of friends. I’m happy to team up with others in a similar situation to look for a place to live (near the Centre), or move into a pre-existing rental agreement/share house.
Hi I'm looking to share share short term from Jan 6 to March 31 with a possible extension to June and hopefully, beyond. I'm an APS worker and I've been spending my weekends chillin' and checking out Canberra's art scene. I like it here! There's so much on! The basic stuff: My budget is 250-300per week ex-bill's. I'm happy to share an apartment with one person or a house with two. Please only message me if your listing is within the suburbs I've specified, Cheers. Other good stuff: I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and tea-chat kind of person. I also like walks and overgrown gardens. I'm tidy and will keep the house fresh and clean. I am a Queensland ring-in so this chilly spring weather has been a surprise! I will happily have a preemptive chat with you about heating and elect bills in case I'm around long enough to need it next year. One other thing: if you happen to be offering a) town a house b) a ground floor unit b) anywhere that's pet friendly and you've always dreamt of sharing your pad a handsome house panther...I know a guy. Cheers, Rose

I like to read, keep fit and active. I'm also an able hand about the place (or at least I think so). I cook, clean, sew and craft (when I have the time). I'm more than happy to answer any questions, you might have. Regards, Michael
Hello :) I'm Hannah and I'm a Kiwi :) I moved to the ACT for work and am loving living here and am looking to move into a share house with a few other people and some outdoor space after a year in a small apartment. I'm relaxed and easy going and am a neat and tidy person but certainly not a clean freak. I enjoy the outdoors, learning, eating good food and relaxing over a glass of wine with good chats.
