We are an easygoing couple moving from the Netherlands to Canberra, to do a fulltime internship at CSIRO. During the week we will be working and in the weekends we would like to explore the area and meet new people :) We have both been living in a housesharing situation for 5-6 years in Amsterdam. Our new roomies will get a bunch of stroopwafels (look it up, they are great) and awesome wine/beer drinking buddies.
Hello mates! My name is Paris, 23 year-old, from China, and I am an ANU postgraduate student. I will start my language course in March, 2017 in ANU College, so I attend to Canberra in 8th March. I am looking for a private room of smoke-free house/apartment, which is near my university. I am spontaneous person, friendly and respectful. I like writing and sharing country music (sometimes pop), doing sports and reading. I‘d like my room cleaned, and I would love to sanitize public area with my housemates. Would you mind to share your lovely house/apartment with me? If you want to know something more of me, please feel free to contact me send message directly. Thank you and I am looking forward to hear from you. Best wishes, Paris
Hi there, I'm Emma (23) and my housemate Dan is (25). We are mates, currently living together, and looking for a third+ person to join. We are looking for a place in the Inner North or Belconnen areas. We are pretty flexible as per rooms and the place, let us know what you are after. I work in hospitality and am currently also studying. Dan is a high school language teacher. We are looking to team up with others to lease a property in the Belconnen or Inner North region. We are easy going, bubbly people that enjoy a chat at home, but respect space, and like to keep things clean. We both love travel, amateur sport, cooking and having a good laugh. We are looking for like minded people to share a home with this year. Let us know if you feel this could be you! Cheers, Emma & Dan.
I current work in at the ANU, so you can definitely depend on me when it comes to timely (even advance) payments. As a working student, I will be busy, which means, I'm not one to make much noise or mess in the place. Also, I've shared houses and apartments with a variety of people, so you're ensured and can expect organisation and tidiness from me. Last but definitely not the least, I may sound boring, but I assure you I'm not. Haha! I love making new friends and striking up conversation (and also sharing a bottle of wine or drinks from time to time).
Considerate, respectful public servant. I like to chill over a beer or a DVD.
Starting from March 14, 2017, I will be a full time postgraduate student at ANU. Well, I was born, raised, educated and challenged in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for my 23 years on earth. I originally wanted to keep living and challenging here in my home country, but then later became interested in traveling and learning different culture and thought it would be better to do so through thriving in a different society with diversity and appreciating a simpler way of living. Actually, I have zero experience in tenancy, but I promise to be a good tenant who will make an on time payment and will take care of your house as my own. Besides, I am not a drinker and a smoker, but a follower who will try all my best to meet the landlord's requirements.
I am Damith, and I am a clean, considerate, and easy going person. I am starting to work in Canberra. I am moving from Sydney, and I have been living in Sydney for four years. I work full time as an Electrical Engineer. In my free time, I like to chat with my friends, read, and watch movies. I am looking for a room near Bruce, Canberra. If you have any question about me, please send me a message.
I am a 23-year-old from Melbourne. I am moving to Canberra to work as a Speech Pathologist. Looking for a house where people are happy to chat and relax together but don't have to be around each other all the time. Also, love a chill night in with a board game!
I work full time and also play Badminton professionally, as such I lead a pretty busy life. However, I'm always up for a round of drinks. I like clean, organised places and I'm looking to share a house with someone in my age group
Heya! I'm Nadine, a 23 year old architecture student studying my masters at UC and working part time in an architecture firm. I'm friendly, easy going, and tidy. I enjoy design, reading, netflix, fitness, brunch and baking! I currently live just outside of Canberra, so ideally I'm looking for a place around UC to make the daily uni commute a bit easier.
I'm a full time student in anu and part time working in cafe on weekends. I'm a easygoing roommate and like to keep things clean and tidy!! I don't mind if u have pet coz I luv animals, if it's well trained will be perfect. I like making more friends and study tgt sometimes, hope we could be Friends rather than just sharing a house!
Hey, I'm Steve! I am a project engineer from Bungendore originally, having moved back to Canberra after graduating from Wollongong uni with civil/marketing degrees last year. Looking at moving in with some other young 20-26 yo who are in a similar situation, working during the week but keen to have a few beers on the weekend! Also happy to live with uni students, however I won't be getting around any mid week pissups. I'm into live music, mostly triple j stuff as well as hardcore and like playing music around the house. I'm reasonably clean and i don't get annoyed if the dishes are left in the sink for a day, I'm more of a big clean up kind of guy rather than little bits as you go. Looking at moving in sooner rather than later, currently staying with my folks out of town. Check out my videos Serendipitous Transcendence 1, 2 and 3 on YouTube to get an idea of the stuff I get up to. Look forward to potentially becoming your roommate. Steve
Hey there! I'm a 3rd year Pharmacy student that works a couple of jobs in the city and has lived in Canberra for 10 years. Very easy going and can adapt to many situations as need be. I am a fun and outgoing person once you get to know me but otherwise I tend to keep to myself getting into either my studies, music or games. I do have a cat that lives at my parents that is a mad cool chill dude and occasionally have a cigarette here and there, but both thing need not be an issue at where I live if that is necessary. I hope to be hearing from you soon! Cheers, Roshan.
I work in property, am quiet and keep to myself most of the time but do love an occasional chat over food. I am clean and respectful of people's space. My interests include cooking, poetry and Netflix.
Hey there, I'm Zahra and I'm currently studying Law at UC. I'd like to be close to campus, but have a car and am open to pretty much any suburb in the area. I am working part-time as a cleaner, and can keep a clean house myself. I'm not much of a cook, but I can make a few nice dishes. Whilst I mostly keep to myself, and my studies, I'll happily discuss anything from literature, to language, to politics. I would prefer to live in a LGBT+ friendly house. However, I have a pet cat, who is well-socialized to other cats, as well as dogs, however she is optional. I would prefer to bring her with me, but I can make other arrangements for her. Since I have a car, I would need somewhere to park it, but I'm comfortable with street parking!
Hi! I'm Tash, I'm 21 and currently in my third (but not quite my last) year studying International Relations at ANU. I'm a born and raised Canberra girl, and am looking to move out of home in order to be closer to uni and work (part-time as a swim instructor/coach). I spend quite a bit of time out and about, and can often be found either swimming or at the gym, but I also love to chill out with Netflix and a cup of tea (T2 New York Breakfast, if you're interested). I like to keep organised, but am very easygoing and happy to help out around the house in any way possible! I'd love a long-term place to live, and am flexible with move in dates. Please don't hesitate to get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!
Hi, Im a young graduate that's work has moved him to Canberra. Can move in any time from April 30th to May 27th. Been share housing since 1st yr uni so civil edict is on point. Im clean, respectful, can cook, will do garden work and pretty handy on the tools. And yes, with 2 sisters & having lived with passive aggressive lesbians, do come toilet trained. Im pretty bloody laid back and love to share a few beers after work, obviously turning it up on the occasional weekend. Would prefer a social house hold!! I wont eat your coriander. I hate that shlt. Pretty much the only thing i cant get about. Bonus preference if you have a pet or plan to hit the slopes come winter!!!

I'm a mature male currently doing my PhD at the ANU. Originally from Bali. Been lived in Melbourne for three years and been lived in a share accomodation before. I'm sociable but love some privacy as well. Occasionally drink during the weekend and having a small chat would be great.
Started full-time work as an office manager this year. Enjoy going to the gym or chilling at home watching netflix after work. I like going out for coffee, brunch and to the movies on the weekends.
I've recently finished Uni in Melbourne and I'm starting a graduate position in environmental science in early March. The job is based in Canberra but also includes travel overseas and around Australia for short periods of time. I've lived in a share house for the last 4 years and I'm tidy and respectful of communal areas. I enjoy sports, music, movies and most outdoor activities. If you think I would be suitable to live with it would be great if you could get in touch with me.
Moved to australia a couple of years ago and I am looking for a nice sharehouse with cool people. I work as an in an electronics factory doing electrical testing, I don't smoke and don't listen to music without my headphones on so don't worry about being woken up in the middle of the night.I'm a really easy going, tidy, a little bit OCD about cleanliness. Don't hesitate to ask any question you may have.
I am a IT Consultant/Trainer, currently based in Brisbane and moving back to Canberra. Starting a New Job at a Govt Dept in Belconnen from the 3rd of Jan in Canberra. Im Amy, I'm 21 years old and about to start my third year at the ANU (: I'm looking for a laid-back but tidy house, and would love to be living with people who are happy to be mates and have a chat, come on a coast-trip or to accompany me on a late-night Kmart run. Obviously though time alone is also super important and I am understanding and respectful of that. I'm completely happy to answer any questions, so please feel free to send me a message any time (:
I've just moved from Sydney to Canberra to study at ANU this year, and am currently staying with family while I look for accommodation. I'm ready to move now but am flexible with my moving date. I'm a pretty mature individual, and I keep everything (but my sock drawer) tidy. I'm easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat/being social, but am happy to keep to myself in the house if that's the go. I love sports, particularly netball, and am always up to attend live games/watch matches on telly. I'm open to different locations, though as a Sydneysider who has spent her life traveling and commuting to everything - I'd love to take advantage of the size of Canberra and live somewhere central.
I work FT in science communication, looking for one or more friendly & clean girls to find an inner-city place with a backyard. I have a full house worth of furniture looking for a home. I'd like to live with a female, non-smoker, someone relatively quiet at home, clean & tidy who works FT and is keen to chill out with a wine/ dinner/ lame rom-com every now and then. Looking to find myself an ensuite room because I have a lot of furniture/ impulse control issues when shopping. I'd love a place near the city if possible with a backyard so that I could buy a dog in the future 😊 In my spare time I love adventuring, art, the markets, running and hiking!
Moving down from Sydney to Canberra and interested in either finding a new place with someone or moving into an already established household. I'm into my sports and pretty laid back and easy going. Have spent the majority of the last 7 years living in shared accommodation with people my age so used to being able to share and take care of joint living areas. Always up for a drink or just a quiet night in watching movies and TV. Have my own bed, drawers, desk, cupboard and TV so don't need the room to be furnished, tho it could save on the removalist costs!
Hi. I'm Sarah. I'm 21 years old, and I'm looking for like-minded people to live with. I am a chill, friendly, easy-going person to live with. I am tidy, respectful and I enjoy a good household hang out. I am a musician (flute, piano, guitar and vocals), and I love attending live gigs wherever possible. I also really enjoy cooking (for myself and for others). I love films, pop culture and reading. I spend a lot of my free time reading, or watching Netflix. I am a newly converted (wannabe) gym nut. I am focusing on getting healthy and being active. I have an 8 year old White Russian cat named Milo who I would absolutely love to bring along.
I am currently in a share house but would like to move to Bruce because it would be way closer to my uni. I am from bega and have moved up to Canberra to do uni. I am a very clean and tidy person, I don't go out partying but I do like hanging out. I'm not a drinker because I always have to drive places and don't want to risk it, I am also not a smoker. I almost all animals besides spiders.
Hi potential future housemates. My name is Meg, and I'm a beginning teacher. I'm looking for a pet-friendly place to call home, preferably in the Belconnen area. About me: I'm a 28-year-old female. I'm vegetarian, but don't mind what you eat. I'm fairly left-wing and non-religious. My interests include art (mostly sculpting), walking and running, reading, writing, watching TV/movies, drinking tea, discussing politics/philosophy/the meaning of life, chilling with friends, outdoor adventures, board games, and experiencing new things. I'm starting out in my teaching career, and will probably be focussed on work over the next few months. I am fluent in Auslan (Australian Sign Language). I have a car and a motorbike. About my pets: (it sounds like a lot, but you'll only really see the dog) 1 Dog (young bichon frise) - Micky is a small, hypoallergenic (non-shedding) dog who will probably live with me part-time. He is young (8 months), and training is ongoing, but is friendly and loveable. He is an inside dog, and will need a dog door and a small yard. He is attending puppy school. He would probably love another dog for company, but I would have to see how he gets on with other pets before committing to a place. I have no idea how he would get on with a cat. 2 guinea pigs - Titian and Smudge are male guinea pigs. They live exclusively outdoors. They will need a semi-sheltered section of yard for their hutch. Beyond that, you won't notice they exist unless you choose to interact with them (in which case, they are quite cuddly). 3 cockatiels - I have three cockatiels that live in a movable cage. They are used to living indoors, but could be relocated to a sheltered outdoor area (such as a covered verandah). Cockatiels can be quite noisy. Again, you would not have to have any interaction with them unless you chose to. I'm looking for: A room, granny flat or studio in a place with a yard and a small dog door. I have a car, a motorbike and a pushbike. I'm happy for my car to be parked on-street, but would prefer my motorbike and pushbike to be out of sight of the road. I'm looking for laid-back housemates who are happy to hang-out occasionally and have a chat, but are also happy to do their own thing. My budget is up to $200/week, but would pay more if bills are included. If you're interested, you can contact me on *oh for to five nine three oh seven ate ate* (written this way so it's not picked up by spam bots).
Hi i'm Lily, registered nurse, moved from Sydney to Canberra to train at the AIS. looking for a place to move into that's walking distance / easy to get to AIS. I'm easy going and sociable and I'll be out and about training/ working/ but will like to hang at home as well. Let me know if i suit!
G'day! I'm Raphael, I'm currently seeking shared accommodation, preferably in the locations I've selected above. I have recently accepted a job offer in Canberra and will be relocating from Brisbane Tuesday 21/02/17. I'll be working full time in pharmacy, so be assured I'll take care of your health & wellbeing. I'm a quiet guy with an easy going personality, one who likes to be neat and tidy, respects the privacy of others, always have a hand out to help others, meeting new people and enjoying the company of others. If you are interested in considering me as a future flatmate, please feel free to contact me. I'd be more than happy to hear any news or feedback from you! Many thanks, Raphael ;)
Hi I'm from New Zealand, I am an early childhood teacher.I love a chat over a cup of tea or a wine. Im quiet, tidy and clean. I enjoy the Canberra bicycle tracks and coffee out. I don't watch a lot of tv but do enjoy a movie. I'm easy going but like my quiet time.
I am looking for a place for me and my dog, an English Springer Spaniel. I am fairly quiet, tend to keep to myself. I am a bit of a gamer and a nerd. I am happy for a chat now and then. I am currently unemployed but I am working hard at finding a job. My dog is mostly an outside dog, however I like to keep him inside during bad weather and at night. He gets along with other dogs/cats as long as they aren't too energetic.
If you're not a mushroom person, I will convert you with my crumbed deep fried mushrooms :) Clean, loves to travel, trek, science, gym and scuba dive. Love meeting New and interesting people
Try my best to keep to myself with studying and working 2 jobs, teaching and entertaining kids, but definitely down for a chat. Don't mind what you eat but I'm vegan myself so I go through quite a few bananas and tubs of hummus. Don't have pets myself but would love yours!
Hi, we are both two 19 year old females from Sydney currently studying law at ANU! We both like to keep a clean environment and are up to socialise, but can also study quietly at the same time. We are respectful of other people's belongings and space and would also love to make new friends!
Hello, I'm Monica and I am currently a full time student at the University of Canberra in my third year of my Biomedical Science Bachelor. I also work casually in childcare and occasionally babysitting at a centre near the UC. I am a quiet but friendly person, I prefer to keep a clean and tidy living space but understand sometimes life gets a little busy and its easy to fall behind on chores. I am usually out and about, I practice yoga everyday and like to go hiking on weekends. I hope you'll consider me as a housemate! Thank you, Monica
I'm a PhD student in plant sciences at CSIRO Black Mountain Innovation Park (Near to ANU). Always fascinated to know about different life styles and cultures. I also enjoy reading, listening music, watching movies, painting and travelling to new places. I value physical and mental fitness and believe in having all-round persona. I would like to live in a healthy social house. I am a good cook and can cook almost all type of Indian vegetarian food.
Hi future housemates, My name is Richard, I'm 28 and I have moved to Canberra in January for work with the APS. I've lived in Canberra before so know my way around the place pretty well. I'm very laid back and sociable so get along with just about anyone. I keep pretty active, used to be a keen rower and now have a go at just about anything to stop going stir crazy! I've lived in share houses before so I'm happy living with housemates, doing my bit around the house, chilling out at home and respecting each other's space. I am neat and tidy, non smoker, social drinker but definitely not a huge party animal. Looking for a larger room as I have a King sized bed to accommodate my height.
Hey there! I'm Christine, I'm 21, and just moving to Canberra to start a Masters of Laws at ANU. I'm originally from rural NSW, but have just completed my Bachelors in International Development from Sydney Uni. A bit about me: I love anything outdoors and active, hiking, swimming, travel, writing and cooking. I also have experience in being in a share house in London, and student accommodation in Sydney. I'm clean and tidy, and would be looking for people who could be good friends, but I also would be respectful of space. Looking to find a place asap. I've been in contact with a real-estate agent so hopefully could be moving into somewhere soon! If you're interested in teaming up I'd love to hear from you! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! Christine :)
I am a 23 year old veterinarian who is moving to Canberra to start a new job. I will be moving to Canberra at the beginning of March and am ideally looking for somewhere to stay for 6 months. I am looking for a share house with some friendly flat mates who don't mind the occasional evening chats over a glass of wine.
I'm an ANU student studying physics and economics, currently working part-time at a leisure center. I'm used to busy youth hostels and shared accommodation situations when traveling, have a huge respect for privacy, am very relaxed, and enjoy cooking! I'm a huge arts lover, so I guarantee you'll never have a shortage of solid movie and music recommendations. Enjoy contemplating life, chatting about space exploration, or just chilling over drinks? I'm your guy. Moved from Washington DC, US after graduating high school early 2015, and am accepting the inevitable broke university-student-life in Canberra. I'm looking for similarly-aged people to share somewhere close to either Belconnen Center or ANU, but am interested in joining existing housemates if you're looking for one!
