I am a 25 year old female looking for a room in a friendly and tidy home. I've recently returned to Canberra after graduating from the University of Newcastle. I'm a reliable housemate who enjoys a social atmosphere at home but also appreciates everyone having their own space. Please feel free to get in touch for any more information.
Hi! I'm a student at ANU, about to commence my 4th year studying Engineering. I'm always down for a chat or some drinks, but also like to spend some time alone. Am into music and movies.
Hey :) I'm Gloria and i'm a student currently living in Sydney looking to move down to Canberra for when uni starts in February. I'm looking for a place for the duration of the degree, that's relatively close to UC but i don't mind travelling a bit further either. I am a relatively tidy and clean person. I have a personality that is easy going and understand the need to respect other people's privacy. I enjoy spending quality time with my friends but i also enjoy a quiet night in.
I just finished college in Canberra, now heading to ANU to study medical science. I’m chinese raised in Italy, I’m friendly and easygoing, I clean after myself and love cats. I don’t cook much, don’t smoke and drink occasionally when I go out. Oh and I’d always choose Netflix over any physical activities
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 27 year old sports biomechanist moving over to Canberra from Perth to work at the AIS at the start of February. I've spent the last 10 years at uni, so I'm looking forward to the new challenge. Given I'm moving across the country, I'm looking for a furnished room (preferably not a single bed). The location of any potential house doesn't really bother me, as long as it's in Canberra. I'd be after a housemate or housemates that are easy to get along with and share a space with. Unsurprisingly (given my profession) I am a bit of sport nut. I also love music, food, and the odd drink. I’m easy going and happy to socialise but am also fine with keeping my own company. I’m clean and tidy and definitely don’t mind helping out with housework when it’s needed.
Hey, this is Yasmina. I am able to move in now ( moving time is negotiable and prefer to stay minimum 6 months or more). I am pretty easy going, and working part-time as an educator in child care centres. I am currently preparing for an exam, and I will work as a full-time educator after I got my exam done. Also, I'm diligent with housework, always clean up the messy and keep common aeras clean and tidy. .I'm always down for housemate hangs, like hiking, jogging and visting galleries etc. I respect other people's space and need for alone time, and value other people's work. If you have a good location place pls contact me coz I dont drive.--msg me with your address if you could, I need to check on the google map and decide to take from there or not. ( prefer Belc, Tuener, Braddon, Bruce ect, as long as it close to any 300 routes buses.) BTW, the rent is negotiable, it depends on your place and room conditions. Also, happy to teamup with nice and great person, contact me ! Cheers!
Hello there! I’m moving to Canberra to study at UC next year and am looking for a room in a share house around $150p/w. I’m planning on driving across from Perth late Jan but am happy to start paying rent earlier so I have a place to go when I arrive haha. I’m a very clean, tidy and organised guy, early to bed and early to rise. I’m pretty active and live a very healthy lifestyle. Love a good healthy, weekly meal prep and don’t often drink (unless everyone else ). I spend quite a bit of time with outdoorsy pursuits hiking, running, camping etc. I have been living in share houses for a few years now with many other housemates so I know how it all works. I’ll also be bringing my doggy with me. She’s a small/medium mixed breed mutt who is super affectionate and friendly. She has a big personality will work her way into your heart (guaranteed). She loves nothing more than to curl up next to you on the couch at the end of a long day, or a short day – pretty much anytime really. She’s house trained and very obedient. I would love to find a house where she can stay inside during that day because I don’t reckon her short hair and slim frame will lend itself to the frigid winters. I’ll be studying full time, working part time and walking the dog part time but when I’m not doing those things I’ll be exploring Canberra or hanging out in the communal areas of the house. I’m pretty social, always up for chat and a yarn - I won’t be spending much time hiding in my room though I do respect peoples need for personal/quiet time. I would love to find a house with peeps I can be friends with and can do housemate activities with. I enjoy living with social people more than anything! Won't be bringing much with me so a furnished room would be ideal but I'm not fussy. Thanks!!
Hello, I am currently studying at both ANU and UC, and work at UC as a lab assistant. I'm pretty quiet and tidy. For fun, I usually play video games or browse the internet. I'm preferably looking for a place that has some space, as I'm moving out of student accommodation (which is tiny).
I am currently studying full time at university (b. Sports and Exercise Science / b. Sports Management) and working 3-5 days a week as a waitress and in events, plus completing an internship. I will often be out at uni or work, but would like to socialise with my housemates occasionally when I am home! In my spare time I enjoy watching all sport (I get a few spare tickets to all Raiders home games that would be available for my housemates most of the time if they're interested), going to the gym, reading a good book and going for coffee with friends. I also love to travel when I can get time off! I am a considerate, clean and tidy person, and am good at sharing responsibilities. Having my own bathroom would be a huge plus, but it's not a deal breaker if that's not possible.
Hey, my name is Jamie and I'll be studying in Canberra. I'm easygoing and more than happy to help around the house. I enjoy cooking, photography, and going for runs. I like going out but prefer Netflix and a heavy doona most nights. So far this is sounding very cliche so I may as well double-down and cover all my bases by stating that I'm looking for a fun but relaxed; open but cosy; quiet but adventurous place to live. To be honest, I'm quiet and respectful and I'm looking for a place that matches.
Hello! I am a science PhD graduate from Adelaide looking for somewhere to live in Canberra while I study at ANU next year. I am super friendly but fairly quiet, tidy, and I love cups of tea and glasses of wine with equal measure. I am vegetarian, but don't mind if you are not, and I love cooking, walking and learning (failing) to roller skate... I have a partner who is staying in Adelaide for now, so I am looking to live somewhere where it will be ok for him to come and visit/stay sometimes. Let me know if you think we might be a good fit!
Hello there! I'll be moving to Canberra from Sydney at the end of January to work for the APS. I'm super easy-going, very organised and tidy, and totally a people person (but I simultaneously completely love and respect the concept of "me time"). When I'm not working, I love being outdoors, especially if it's anything water-related, or hanging out at home and watching TV with a cup of tea :)
Hi all. I'm looking for a place to live in the Belconnen area. Very sociable, easy-going guy. Grew up in a small town, but I've lived in Newtown, Sydney for the last couple of years. Studying to be an English teacher and wanting somewhere to stay while completing my degree. I enjoy video games, playing music, movies, going to the gym and running. Fine with pets (especially fond of cats) and consider myself a respectful, cleanly housemate. Love to hear back from some people.
Hi! I am an APS grad starting in early Feb, moving down from Brisbane having just completed my Bachelors in Journalism and Law. 25, friendly, clean and tidy, have lived in share houses the last five years and college dorms before that. I'm always up for a chat, enjoy sharing a meal and making a place feel like a home, but appreciate we all have our down time. Love the outdoors, I'm anticipating a few hiking adventures and ski trips so would love a flatmate who's keen to get around that! Resident doggo/s not a problem.
Hi! I am looking to move to the inner north, city or belco area. I work full time at a law firm and study law at UC part time. When i am home i am studying or cooking. I have a cat (3 years old, lovely, friendly and cuddly) and also a dog (mini fox terrier, 1 year old, playful and doesn’t yap!). Cat is indoors 80% of the time, on my bed or the couch, he does like to lay in the sun in the afternoon. Dog is the same, back yard preferably (not a balcony) so she can play during the day. I then take her for walks most nights and on the weekends. She is trained and doesn't make a mess. Just wants cuddles and to pay tug of war! Looking for a 2-3 bedroom house with ultimately, although not necessary, my own bathroom. A house mate that is clean and tidy and doesn't mind if i have friends over a some nights. I am an Australian girl, 23, a hard working professional and will keep the house tidy. I am not a vegetarian but not opposed to someone that is. I am LGBT friendly. Don't mind if you smoke outside. Let me know if you have any questions!
Isaac and I are two full time students studying at Nursing and Primary education at UC. We love music, drinks with friends and a bit of netflix here and there. We are super clean and tidy. We are looking a house that accepts couples to move into ASAP!
Please call me Kait! Im a laid back, cheery, easy going and outgoing 20 year old that studies full time at UC and has a part time job working with kids as a safety and swim instructor all over Canberra! I enjoy cooking a decent meal, so I’m happy to share and can’t stand mess so always happy to ensure a clean place. I do gym and play netty in my spare time and always down for night on the town, when I can afford it anyway hahah! Hoping to meet some groovy people and even make a friend/s out of it ☺️
Hey I’m Darcie, 22 from WA and am looking for a room from early Feb. I’m neat and tidy, love swimming and yoga, and will be studying nutrition at UC. Message me if you’ve got questions or a room, I’d love to hear from you
Moving from Sydney, will be arriving on 19th of Jan and looking to move in by the 10th of Feb. I'm looking for a share house in the inner suburbs of Canberra, preferably with other full-time workers of a similar age. I'm relatively easygoing, tidy, and respectful of my housemates. In my spare time I like to cook, exercise, play sport, and just generally get out and about. Pros - Loves to bake (brownies and puddings are a specialty) - Can make a mean G&T - Stable income - Stable mind - Non smoker Cons - Allergic to cats - dogs are fine though! - Questionable music taste (although I do own a great pair of noise-cancelling headphones, which means you will never subjected to this)
Hello :) My name is Meg, I'm a 24 year old who is quiet but very friendly and kind. I am into the gym and fitness, I love to compete in Fashions On The Field at the races. I am tidy and clean and respect other people's spaces. Would be happy with sharing some meals and enjoying a beer/wine over dinner. I am originally from a small country town in NSW but I am relocating to Canberra and starting a new job as a receptionist at an Accounting Firm in the first week of March. I am looking to move into a 2 bedroom unit with someone with separate bathrooms around the middle of February. I look forward to hearing from you. Meg.
I'm a 21 year old man with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Nutrition science. I am moving to Canberra to study my Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics. So I guess I'm kind of into sport :P. I will be working casually at Bunnings, and enjoy going to gym. I'm looking for a place that I will be able to study at.
I am a 23 year old female who is looking to either move into a existing house share or start one up with someone else. I am a clean, tidy and responsible person who has house shared before and am very respectful of others privacy and belongings. I am a laid back person who enjoys a laugh and spend most of my free time with my friends, family, playing sport, cooking and catching up on my favourite tv series. I am preferably looking for a place with my own bathroom. Message me if you think we would be a good fit :)
你好! Guten Tag! Hello Everyone! ;) I am an exchange student from Hong Kong, originally studying Environmental Science in Germany. I am an adventurous person who is very open-minded to new culture and people. I am a solo backpacker as well if I am not studying, and I enjoy trekking (spending time on mountains is always cool), climbing, and sports in general. My other hobbies include boardgames and experimental cooking! I am very independent and have been living with my current German flatmate for over two years. I am looking for a warm and cheerful room for myself during my 5 month stay in Canberra! Have no strong preference for neighborhoods. Hey and I am looking forward to my new experience in Canberra! Hope we could spend some time together during my limited stay! I will arrive in the city in the mid-Feb ;) Thanks!!
