I’m a friendly, easy going and fun to have around, respectful and extremely tidy person i don’t like mess! I like meet new people, learn about cultures and have new friends, I like cooking, listening music, watching movies and going to the beach!
I'm an ambivert so you get the best of both worlds. I love disappearing and doing my own thing but i'm also up for a boogey or chill hangs. I'm very adaptable depending on the situation i'm in. I love animals so if you happen to have pets (YAY). I'm respectful and clean. I'm studying Environment and Society at RMIT. I love nature, hiking, the beach and going on an op shopping spree. I'm tri-lingual. Born in Sydney Fluent in English, Cantonese, and mediocre at mandarin. So I can teach you some Chinese if you wanted. I'm generally very fun to be around plz give me a home, or more appropriately a room :))).
Looking for a room closer to the city for work. Generally keep to myself, but always up for a chat. Trying to save money to move overseas, so I am working quite a bit at the moment. Super tidy with dishes and whatnot, and pretty laid back and easy to live with. If you have something available, feel free to message me!
Hi everyone, me and Mitchell are two English lads looking for a place to live in this beautiful city. We have both just finished travelling south east Asia and have lived together before so can guarantee no dramas. Both sporty and fun to be around. So if you have anything that suits us please let me know :)
Yet another twenty-something looking for sweet digs north of the city! Currently looking for an unfurnished room in/around the regular Northside areas. Long-term lease is ideal, as I'm looking for something pretty stable. Close to public transport is a must as I'm a slave to our PTV overlords and need them to get to my jobs in the city. Preferably up to $200-230/wk, but can do higher if price includes bills. I work full-time-equivalent in ticketing and other arts/festival admin-y jobs, which means: a) I'm out of the house quite a bit, especially during festival time, b) I have a steady-enough income that means rent/bills get paid on time, and pantry is always in full supply of Blend 43, and c) I can offer you free tickets to things as an apology in the rare event I leave a gross pan in the sink for an unacceptable amount of time. I'm a film grad, so I come packaged with a solid DVD collection, (which in turn comes packaged in those tall, thin, generic-AF Ikea bookshelves so it doesn't take up too much room.) Unsurprisingly, I spend a lot of my spare time watching movies. This I can do more than happily from a spine-bending position in bed, or from the couch with mates and a Sailor Jerry. Not a great cook, but can contribute in other ways like taking out bins and spiders, and not being overly-around when you need some space. I'm also clean, reasonably tidy, polite to your visiting mum, and all those good things. Will be in Adelaide for work Feb 10 - March 20, so looking to move in either ASAP or in late March when I'm back in town. Of course, I'm more than happy to sign a lease, pay rent etc. for the time I'm away if I'm able to move in before I ship out to SA.
Hi! I'm Sakina, and I'm a postgraduate student studying a Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne. I'm from Sri Lanka and I moved here in July 2017 so I'd consider myself a newbie! (hehe). In terms of being a flatmate, I'd love to live in a clean environment and will make an extra effort to be clean and tidy up wherever I live. I also think it's important to have a healthy and engaging relationship with my flatmate, so I'd ideally look for someone who is outgoing and fun, but also gives me my space and has their own! In my spare time (lol, what is that when you're a Masters student?), I love watching tv shows, movies, listening to music and reading/writing. I love coffee, and am always open to finding coffee spots in and around the area! I am also an explorer by habit and love to go around the city to visit cool spots. I work part time with children and do creative work here & there. Let me know if you're interested! :)
I am easygoing clean and tidy person.i dont drink or smoke and i am looking to find a room for rent preferably with women
Hi! I'm Jaitika. Im from India. I'll be arriving in Melbourne by the second week of February, to pursue my Masters at University of Melbourne. I'm 22, a non-smoker (don't mind if you smoke), LGBTQ+ friendly, and a bit of a clean freak. I LOVE coffee, binging on netflix and nerding out every now and then. Don't have pets, but don't mind them either. I'm open-minded, reliable, and friendly, up for a chat or a glass of wine, also cool with doing my own thing. I am respectful of others privacy. I plan on working part time, but I'll be on time with all my payments as I do have financial support from back home. Ideally, I'm looking for a friendly, fun, outgoing person but who respects my need for space and privacy and also their own. If you think we might get along well, drop in a message, let me know about you a little. Looking forward to hear from you! :)
Hello, I am Sophia. I am starting a Juris Doctor at Melbourne Uni this year. I am interested in social justice/ human rights work so do a bit of volunteering and will end up there career wise, but currently work at an aromatherapy store. I am transferring to the Melbourne shop so will have ongoing enjoyment. I like growing things, cooking, riding my bike, podcasts, fretting over current affairs, herbs, and reading like most other humans. I am a vegetarian but don't mind sharing a kitchen with meat eaters. I am pretty quiet but find a lot of joy in a good conversation. I also enjoy a boogie when the time is right. I think it is important to have a community in your home and put effort into the space, whether that is through cleaning, sharing time or sprinkling it with essential oils. Let me know if you feel I will be a match for your home and we can organise to meet!
We are two sisters looking for amazing flatmates. One of us (24) is a passionate Biologist and Microbiologist who loves salsa music, the other one (30) is a Environmental engineer doing course in project management, cat lover. We are very tidy and friendly. We love Netflix afternoons and we love outdoor activities. Latin ladies.
Hi there! I'm a 21 year old student from Sydney relocating to Melbourne to study Communication Design. Would prefer to live with other friendly students. Looking for a place within around 3 - 12km of the CBD. My strengths include being reliable and considerate. Will definitely clean up after myself and willing to share the responsibility of housework. I am quiet, a non-smoker and definitely not a party animal - looking to share a house with people who also have these qualities. However, would love to find housemates I can become friends with and chill together sometimes! Hopefully be able to share the occasional meal, go out for drinks, or even just stay in for a movie night. Most of my spare time will probably be spent trying new recipes, reading, watching tv shows/movies, going to the gym, and exploring Melbourne. :)
Just arrived from Brisbane to study Film and Television! I'm looking for something -not too expensive- and as close to the city as I possibly can and would like somewhere for 3 months or more... I've lived with other people before, I know how to keep shared spaces clean and respect the house I live in. I'm quite a chill person who's always down for adventuring the city or laying in bed watching movies/listening to music. I am on call all week, so please feel free to contact my number (text is the fastest/best way to contact me)
Coffee drinking, creative male seeking accomidation. Virtual reality developer/ 3d artists and all round good guy who is moving back to Melbourne after living in Sawtell for 5 years. And will be attending RMIT this year. So while I'm living here in Sawtell I'm looking for a room in a quite share house to move into. Please note - though I've put down the 18th, I am prepared to move in early February. Me, sociable, independent, open minded and laid back individual who likes a good chat over a coffee. I would consider myself as a house trained male (thanks to my mother) who pays the rent and bills on time, tidies up after himself and respects other people's space and property. I can also cook a good tuna pasta. My main interests are virtual and augmented reality, jazz, horror and sci fiction films and art just to name a few. Open to smoking/ non smoking household, pets. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hi there! Currently looking for a 3rd person to team up with myself and Jess (28) to start up a sharehouse. I consider myself a cruisy housemate who on occassion like to share a meal and hang out, but am often busy doing my own thing. I am 29 years old and work full time in the CBD for an events company in their finance department. I have a big ginger cat named Ron who is super friendly and Also Jess has a big husky x greyhound doggo - so you must like pets. I'm originally from Geelong - moved up a couple of years ago so and I do head back down for some weekends. I really love going to the beach, going to gigs, comedy nights, cooking, going out for brunches, gardening, watching the footy (GO CATS!!), hikes, yoga, bike rides, intelligent conversations and exploring what Melbourne has to offer! I'm always up for anything fun and silly or a weekend away, I do keep it pretty quiet during the week but definitely not opposed to having a beer or wine (or 5) mid week! During the summer I like to frequent the festival scene (Meredith, Rainbow Serpent, Boogie etc). I think the environment is pretty good and try and be as green as possible and hope you do too! You: Are likeminded - employed, busy and keen to commit to atleast 6 months. You are between 25-35 years old. You know how to be tidy and pitch in around the house. You are happy to have a chat over a shared meal or drink when we can. give me a yell if this sounds like you!
Hey my name is Ashtyn, I am 21 years old and I am looking to team up with 2 others to find a nice home :) I have lived in a share house for 2 years so know all the ins and outs of respecting housemates/cleanliness/paying bills on time. I study business at LaTrobe University and have a part time job. I am easy going, like things to be kept clean, like to socialise yet also like time to myself. Would be great to live as a housemate and friend, not just rent a room. Wanting to move ASAP! $170 would be my rent budget (not including bills). Please don't hesitate to message me :)
I'm Lydia, 30, and work at Toyota, though my experience before this is in humanitarian aid sector. I'm pretty easy going, like to share a meal with housemates occasionally, a glass of wine or beer and a good chat are always good, but I understand that home is a sanctuary and space/alone time is important. I love reading, enjoy a good meal, pubs, playing ultimatum games and a good laugh. I think it's important to make the effort to make a share house a home, not just a house. I like to keep communal spaces clean, and cooking for housies. I'm very easy going and flexible. I think it's important to respect others' space and time.
I will be going into my first year of university studying fashion merchandising. Originally from rural Victoria I am looking for accommodation in Melbourne for the duration of my study. I believe I'm easy going and can easily keep to myself. My hobbies include dancing and hockey but enjoy most outdoor activities.
Hello! I am moving to Australia for one year on a working holiday and would like to find some relaxed & friendly people to live with. A bit about myself - I am originally from California and have spent time living in Spain, England and New York. I am both quiet and outgoing, depending on the situation and I like to hike, doodle, drink tea, watch movies, do creative projects and explore cities. I studied fashion design in San Francisco and worked primarily as a sewing teacher while living in New York. Back in California I've been working as a Council Aide for the City of San Jose and I like to work on projects involving civic innovation and design. I am currently searching for a full-time gig in Melbourne. Favorite author: Bill Bryson, Favorite film: Amelie
Originally from Ireland, I've been living in Perth for the last 18 months. I'm relocating to Melbourne at the end of January. I'll be working in Epping as a junior doctor so I'm looking for somewhere between town and epping on the South Morang line. I'm easy going. I've lived in multiple previous share houses and I know how to get on well. I'm looking forward to exploring Melbourne with new friends in my free time. I'm planning on bringing my car across, so ideally would be looking for a place with a parking space on/off street.
Hi there! So I am a 27 year old looking for a room to rent from around the end of Jan. I'm pretty flexible with move in dates and move out dates. I'm looking for a place to call home until at least until the end of the Uni year (November) or more depending on how things go! I've lived out of home since I was 18 so I'm very used to living in a share house. I'm clean and organised, I love the outdoors and animals and I am a vegan, but don't care if you're not! I love cooking, drinking coffee (I even come with my own coffee machine!) and wine. I currently study Environmental Science at RMIT but I'm not at all an unreliable student and I am defiantly not looking for student accommodation. I was fortunate enough to get an accommodation scholarship which covers my rent so paying bond/ rent and bills is never an issue. Before coming back to uni I spent a couple of year travelling through Asia and Europe and lived in the UK so safe to say I love traveling! I do study hard and I try to stay healthy but I do also enjoy a drink with friends. I would love to move into an established house with sustainably conscious housemates that are independent but that are open to making a new friend and like to have the occasional debrief over a red!
Hello! I work as a Community Manager for a public health research app, and recently relocated to Melbourne after four years in Dublin, Ireland (though originally from Boston, in the US). (No, I do not sound like the Departed) (Yes, I do use the word "wicked") I've lived in share-houses since 2010 so very accustomed to sharing chores and space, and keeping tidy. I like to be able to come home to friendly housemates and share the occasional movie night, while also maintaining our own lives. For fun I try to get out to swing dancing events several times a week, and like exploring city goings-on at the weekend. I also try to get to gigs at least a few times a month.
Full-time student at the University of Melbourne. Easy going, like to keep things pretty low key. Originally from central Victoria. Am into good films and books, cooking, music. I receive Centrelink youth allowance payments which cover my rent regardless of whether I am employed or not.
