Hi, I will go to Melbourne to work at the University of Melbourne for 4 months. I am planning to arrive in the city in June 20th. I am biologist and I am currently working with seaweeds in my PhD research. I am easy going, a little quite, tidy and clean. I am looking for a place that I can have good experiences with the flatmates and can rest after work and weekends.
I'm easy, outgoing, drama-free and clean. I'm looking for a long term stay since i'm doing my internship as an accountant. I think its better if you meet me in person. I'm friendly and easy to get along with.
Hey guys, I'm originally from Brazil, been living overseas for the last 12 years, in Melbourne for just over a year and planning to stay. :) I work full time in the Fitness Industry and like to cook and live a healthy lifestyle. I'm very easy going, clean, tidy and considerate of other people's space. I'm sociable and enjoy sharing dinner and a glass of wine, as well as having friends over from time to time, but most of the time I would prefer a quiet home to come to rather than a party one. I'm looking for like minded people to rent a house together primarily but would also be open to rent a room at the right place. ;)
I'm a web developer working in the city. I'm also a singer/songwriter and guitar player and currently studying blues guitar online. I absolutely love cooking, practice meditation and keep fit and healthy at the gym. My karaoke power song is Bohemian Rhapsody! A lot of my social life happens at gigs.. I'm a huge fan of live music and standup comedy! Super chill, drama free, very easy going... pretty to move into a place that has more a home vibe rather than be just renting a room.
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
Hey hey! I'm Nesceda, and I'm currently studying theatre and performance at Monash Uni in Clayton. I'm potentially looking to move somewhere in 2018 in order to be closer to university, and closer to the CBD as I spend quite a bit of time out at shows, rehearsals, and also work casually at Athenaeum Theatre. My other occupation is once a week near where I currently live (Essendon), as a venue manager for Australian Girls Choir. I'm very independent and self-sufficient, and enjoy spending time alone. However, I'm always up for a laugh, philosophical chat or Netflix binge. I'm good with housework too, and like to keep things neat and tidy. I'm guaranteed to contribute by responding with bad dad jokes and always being available to give advice. I'd prefer to stay with people close-ish in age to myself. Not a massive party animal, but do appreciate a good time and good company.
Hi, since my landlord recently decided to sell his place I'm looking for a new home. I'm Aldo, a 33y old guy, toilet-trained and in my 5th year of being abstinent from chasing mailmen. Oh I wish sometimes I could be a dog, my life would be so much easier! Ok, back to the humans. I think I'm well house-trained, I've shared places ever since turning 19 and I've learned to clean up after myself in communal areas. I'm aware with things that might bother others and up for a chat and socialising most of the time, I like people I can trust and that try to find a collective solution to arising household problems. I understand sharing a place means we share the responsibilities that come with it and I'm mature enough to do my part for a functional household. A proactive communication for example is a good way to avoid issues. I'd like to hold myself to the same standard as I hold others, trying to find empathy, self-criticism and integrity around me. In more simplistic terms, I am happy if I can contribute in making people feel more at home and treat each other as friends rather than just housemates. Interests: I go out and chase balls sometimes (soccer), riding my bike around, beachtime, going to as well as playing gigs (I play guitar and occasionally bark to it). I also like to read and educate myself about things, cooking & eating in and occasionally out. I try to live environmentally conscious but without forcing my lifestyle choices onto others. Job: I am currently applying for jobs with my Master of Science and work experience in medical imaging. I'm financially stable and reliable and not dependent on finding a job straight away, so paying rent/bills and having other expenses for socialising will not be an issue with me (proof and references can be provided). If you think we could get along or have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks for reading and have a good day :) Woof.
Hi i'm new to Melbourne! I'm a Perth girl who's working full-time as a flight attendant so most of the week i'm usually away on work trips. I'm pretty active, enjoy travelling, think i'm a pretty good cook 😀 very respectful, i'm easy going and friendly natured Looking to find roommates who are similar, social but not party animals
35 year old male working full time as a buyer. When not working either at gym, day hiking trips, catching up with mates or riding a rounding on the motorbike. Relax and easy going. Looking for a place that can call home and enjoy the place.
I'm quite a relaxed person but will be working hard to earn money so I can go travelling. I'm a member of the Trinity College Choir. I love to keep things neat and tidy. I'm the type of person that will give you your personal space, but is also always down to watch a movie, drink wine and socialise.
I have many years of sharehouse experience so I am clean and reliable. I am also always up fr a chat over wine and dinner but enjoy my own time. A good mix of the two is perfect.
Hi guys I'm currently living in Tamworth NSW but looking to move to Melbourne to be closer to my family. I work full time in optics but I'm also a fully qualified makeup artist. I'm really friendly and easy going and always down for a chat!
Hi! I'm Cecilia, native westy, employed fulltime in the city and with a variety of (somewhat nerdy) hobbies and friends to keep me pretty busy. When I'm at homeI like to spend time with a household, listen to music or watch a movie, share a meal or a glass of wine, and also take the time to chill and wind down on my own. I'm a bit of a keen cook and like to prepare my own meals a few times a week - don't worry, I'll clean up after! I prefer not to drive so a place that has good public transport access is essential. Otherwise I am not too fussy about location. Looking forward to meeting people around the same age range, LGBT + friendly, not racist or sexist, of any walk of life. I have all bedroom furniture, kitchen stuff and a few other bits and pieces like a table and a fridge, but am happy to part with them if they are not needed.
I'm from Brisbane making the move down to Melbourne. I've been living out of home 3 years, very tidy and clean, very laidback and chill. Easy to get along with. I'm very sociable but also keep to myself. Enjoy a few beers and a boogie on the weekends and a good movie/show marathon through the week. I work as a pharmacy assistant and am financially secure. As for hobbies, I skateboard a bit, collect records and I have my own etsy jewellery business and sometimes do market stalls. I have a good sense of humour and I'm pretty chill and fun to live with! Wine and record nights!
Hi! I'm Mara , I'm 20 this year and looking for a room for the end of June or beginning of July. I am currently living in Hobart, but am moving up to Melbourne in time for semester two at Melbourne Uni, studying Arts. Random interests include: cooking, drawing, green spaces, my gorgeous 14 yr old dogs who I am very sad to be leaving behind! I've spent the last year and a half working, but took some time off over the European Autumn last year to go backpacking around western and central Europe which was fabulous ! You'll find me clean and tidy and respectful of peoples space and things. I'm friendly and hope to live in a house where everyone takes the time to get to know each other. I'm not a party animal so not well suited to a party house. Ideally looking for somewhere cosy, clean and not really far away for the uni. Also happy to consider a sublet from July / November. Thanks, Mara !
hey guys, My name is josh, I'm an 2nd year apprentice landscaper, I work 7-3/4 Monday to Friday. During the week after work I'm generally relaxing watching movies or kicking back flicking through YouTube or occasionally playing PS4 however I'm always down for a chat. Weekends I sometimes have drinks and/or catch up with friends. Around every third weekend I head to my hometown for the weekend to see family and friends. I occasionally like to skate and excericse at the gym. I'm great to live with because I'm respectful, always pay bills and rent on time and tidy and clean. I'm ready to move in sometime after June 25th and before July 6th. Feel free to message me to ask any further questions. Thanks
Hey! I'm Anna - a full time business student just coming back from exchange. This semester I will be working and studying part-time. Originally from regional NSW, I moved to Hawthorn about 2 years ago, and 4 months ago I left to go to Vietnam on exchange. Now I'm back and looking to find a place for the next year while I complete my studies. I'm kind of quiet but generally easy going, and accepting. I love art, movies, coffee, wine and beer. Will probably bring home a lot wine to share and offer to do coffee runs when you are hungover/sick. I need an unfurnished room which can fit and queen bed, parking, internet and to be walking distance from a train/tram line. Ideally the room would have some natural light, be close to a nice cafes, and place would have some nice communal spaces, but as long as the place is cleanish (mess is ok but poor hygiene is not), quiet enough to sleep from 11pm - 7am most weeknights, and my space is respected then I will be happy. Let me know if you have a place or are interested in a team up :)
I'm a 29 year old kiwi girl, just moved to Melbourne and I am working full time in sports management, which is my dream as I am a massive sports fan! I have lived in several flats throughout my twenties and have always got along well with flatmates. I am easy going, happy to hang out in the lounge, talk shit, have a laugh and watch Netflix.. with wine, beer, tea and/or snacks.. definitely cheese. I am not a fan of cooking so I tend to throw together quick meals but I am good at cleaning! I like to spend my time watching, talking and reading about sport, seeing friends for food/drinks, exercising & sometimes just doing nothing haha. I am happy to socialise in the flat but also good at being independent. Ex-flatmate reference "Emily is a legend and we were sad to see her go!"
I'm a clean 35yr single female that is looking for a place asap with another female only as I'm a relaxed Muslim. I'm studying part time at the moment and start part time work soon. I have a de-sexed clean kitten that only goes in my room and from my bedroom window to outside so he is no bother. I like to cook and there's always left overs :) I only have 1 or 2 people over if i have friends over but mostly go out to socialize. I'm not fussed by much just expect my privacy of my room to be respected. Im very easy to get along with and am considerate of others. I would consider any location close to northern or western inner city but would prefer the north. i would also consider a 1yr if found the right place otherwise i would like to get my own place within 6 months xx I smoke outside occasionally
Howdy! My name's Joh. I'm currently moving from BNE in the next few days and looking to find a housemate in MELB. I'm looking ideally for 1 other housemate for a nice apartment. I'm a full-time prov psychologist and a general cool dude.
