I'm a friendly person that can have a good chat. I love my sport & music & love my family/friends. I'm organised and like to keep busy, but also like my alone time. I work casually at AFL games, and with EWG, working at events. I will be studying at Holmesglen this year, studying a degree of sports media. I’d love roommates that are trusting and caring, and have a good sense of humor. This will be my first time living away from home so might take me a little while to get used to that. Would prefer having just 1 roommate, or 2 at max, but would be okay with a family.
I'm a 25 year old Psychology Postgraduate student. I am an Australian and Italian citizen, so I fluently speak both English and Italian. I am friendly and easy going as well as organised and trustworthy. When I am not studying, I enjoy either relaxing at home by reading, listening to music, cooking or doing yoga; otherwise I enjoy having a fun night out. I am looking for a cozy place I can temporarily call home and some housemates I can with time call friends!
Hello! My name is Ciara and I was born and raised in Alaska. I will be moving to Melbourne on March 4th with my boyfriend Sam (two years) who is from there. We are looking for a place for one year as he will be finishing his last year at Deakin and I am on a work and travel visa. In the summer, we like to hike and camp. Sam plays tennis and coaches. In the winter, we like to ice skate and snowboard. We enjoy drinking, cooking, and just hanging out. I like photography. Sam is 21 years old and I am 23. Sam has a car and will need a parking spot. I do not have a car so it would be nice to be close to public transportation. I would like a full kitchen with a dishwasher. We love dogs and can care for them. We are looking to pay $150-200 each or $300-400 for both of us per week.
Hi, I am Meru, a 22y.o. Kazakh nomad girl roaming around the world =D Currently I am doing my Master's in Europe and as a part of studies I will visit Deakin University for 3 months at the beginning of 2019. Australia was a dream destination from my childhood, therefore I am too excited about my stay there. I like exploring everything new - places, people, knowledge, skills, etc. I am pretty easy-going person and can adapt for all life conditions :) I appreciate cleanliness(read tidiness) of my flatmates and respect interests of everyone. I don't have bad habits(no smoking, no alcohol) Too much to say, but in short if you are talkative, open, hangout type of person then yeah I can talk with you non-stop for hours and hours and join to go out, but if you are not so social and prefer quiet flatmates, well I will respect it as well. Oh yeah sometimes I immerse to studies and become almost invisible =D Thats pretty much it. The remaining we can always discuss!
hello I am an undergraduate studying at Deakin university. looking for a clean and tidy place. would enjoy the company for few flatmates who are fun as well respect each other and their privacy. Hoping to find a place within close proximity to the university.
Hi ! I’m a french business student coming in Melbourne for an exchange semester at Deakin University. Will arrive on 1st February 2019. I’m easy-going, respectful and clean. I really like sports and I enjoy going out with friends. I plan to travel to discover Australia during the 6 months I’ll spend there.
hi, we're two best friends who moved accidentally into the same house back in 2017. We have both been living out of home with six housemates for two years and are going into our third years of study at Deakin. Em; originally from Phillip Island has a very chill and laid back personality and is always up for long Netflix binges or impromptu adventures anywhere. She is currently studying a bachelor of Exercise Science and works part-time as a gym receptionist. Riy; originally from Traralgon is going into her third year of a bachelor of Criminology and loves her fair share of Netflix binges, puzzles and books. She currently works part-time in retail in Chadstone. We're definitely a package deal and love going to gigs and exploring beaches watching glorious sunsets and hanging out with our housemates. However, we do love our own space and are very respectful of our fellow housemates. Currently looking to hopefully fill a four bedroom house, so would love to team up! We also have a third friend; Liv Flower who is our environmentally savvy world wanderer friend jumping in with us! She's very chill, definitely loves her adventures and gigs.
I am a 23 year old occupational therapist looking to move from Geelong to Melbourne for work. I love spending time out about about with friends and also enjoy quiet nights in. I am easy going, tidy and respectful of other people’s space and belongings.
Teacher, sporty, love going out and seeing live music, love chilling out on sundays, catching up with mates, hitting the gym and outdoor adventures. easy going and happy to unwind after a long week with a movie or some jokes over a wine or two.
(Looking for someone with a monthly budget for rent between $500 - $650) We’re three eccentric gals in our mid-20s working that full time life. Our home is an introvert cave and we do our partying in the big wide world. We’re hoping to find a fourth to bring balance to the force when we look to move in March/April around the East/South-Eastern suburbs. We’re looking between Malvern East, Glen Waverley and Box Hill around the $500 a week/$2k a month figure. We’re looking to move from our three-bedroom shack to something more spacious in the 4 bedroom department with good value for money and not too much yard. Also we’ve got pretty much any and all communal furniture you’d need but if you come equipped with a fridge that wouldn’t go astray. ** A bit about us: ** * Brea is a creative that loves cats, keeping healthy, and video games. She works for DHHS in a pretty stressful job and values a place she can come home to and de-stress. If Brea could choose to be an animal she’d best suit a cat... or a blob fish. In a new rental Brea would like somewhere with a master bedroom and ensuite, which she is happy to pay a larger quarter for. * Gem is also a creative and spends her time making art, gardening, listening to podcasts and watching YouTube. She photographs events and is often out and about in her free time. Gem says if she was an animal she’d be a sloth. * Penny is completing the last year of her PhD and actively trying to not rip her hair out. She’s a bit of a socialite and she’s either out with friends or at the gym in her free time. Penny decided she’d be a naked mole rat. ** About you: ** We’re looking to meet a someone who is either working full time or is completing their post-grad studies and working on the side. Preferably someone in their mid to late 20s but if you’re a bit out of the bracket, send a message anyway. We want someone who is considerate, liberal-minded, easy-going and house-trained. We don’t follow a cleaning roster and aren’t clean-freaks about it but we expect everyone to do their part and help each other out. Gender doesn’t matter, we just want to find someone who we click with! Ideally we’re looking to pay about $500-$650 a month each with the rent split, so we’re looking for someone also in that budget. We’re queer-friendly and pet friendly too provided your furry/feathery/scaly friend has manners. Brea is a vego and Pen is vegan, and Gem eats whatever. Whether people cook meat or not isn’t a big deal for us. We have our own respective partners who visit every now and then or we’ll be off at theirs. It’s a house courtesy to let folks know when someone is going to be visiting just to give a heads up. We’d rather no couples to be living-in. We want to find a person who we can lock in and welcome into the fold. If things are looking good we’d love to share a meal and see how things go. Send a message and tell us a bit about yourself (and if you were an animal, what one would you be?).

Hi I am a student from Scotland, who will be studying digital media at Deakin University. I am looking for accommodation for 4 months to cover my semester. I am a non smoker and have experience of living the student life. You will find me friendly and easy going. I love exercise, playing soccer and going to the gym. I used to play rugby. I would love to have wi fi and ideally an ensuite bathroom, but happy to share.
I'm 22yo, queer trans guy and I am moving from WA to Melbourne to study, I'll be coming over to melbourne on the 27th of january. I'll be studying either at Deakin or Monash so anything nearby is great. I am considering north or west so long as its close to public transport. I am pretty easy going though I am more on the introverted side, happy to have a chat and share dinners but also happy to keep to myself, I'm not looking for a "party house". I'm into health, nutrition, art, drawing, painting, photography. I am an animal lover despite having none of my own, so i would definitely be befriending any pets. I'm pretty clean and I am all about open communication. I'll be leaving behind my veggie garden so anywhere with one would be a bonus but certainly not required. I don't smoke, don't really drink much and I'm a vegetarian (but I'm not bothered about what anyone else eats).
Hi! My name is Rachel and I’m a full-time professional working in the non-government international development sector. I am looking for a place to move into for approximately a year. I love the current place I live in and have been here for 3 years. However, being the only person on the lease reduced my flexibility to move out if required, which is a requirement this year. I'm looking for a female only house in the above suburbs or surrounding area. I work 9-5 on weekdays and work from home once a week. I am up for a chat but also like my space. I have been living in shared houses for 10 years and “house trained”. I love to keep things clean but not too fussed. I love coffee, travelling, international relations and everything korean. Cheers, Rachel
Hi! I'm Kira, I'm going to be going to Deakin Uni in Burwood this year and I'm looking for a place to live. I will be pretty much studying and working, but I would love to make some new friends in the area. I’d like to live in a tidy environment as I hate clutter but apart from that I’m easy-going.
