Hi! My name is Lauren, and I am a full time primary education student at Deakin University as well as a part time nanny born and raised in Melbourne. I'm a very easygoing, clean and overall relaxed individual who is passionate about indie and rock music, elephants, wine, exercise, reading and conversations. I am house trained, respectful and also love to cook for the people around me. I'm looking for a kind, interactive house where everyone has their own space but gravitates towards each other and lives as more of a family. If you're interested, I'd love to come around and get to know each other over a coffee!
I'm currently looking to take the plunge and move down to Melbourne from Sydney. I've graduated with a degree in Health Science and I'm currently working in the life insurance/financial services space, and looking to work full-time once I've moved. I'm really easy going and l will usually keep to myself, but if there's music and food around - I'm there. I'm a bit of a neat freak and insist on keeping things tidy! I don't consider myself a chef, but I cook more often than I eat out. I love a great coffee, love music, and the occasional mid-week beverage.
I am a 24 year old guy from Cape Town, South Africa who made a life decision to come over to Melbourne for work. I love surfing and music (I play the guitar). I consider myself a very positive person and will go the extra mile to make other peoples lives a little better.
Hi there, My name is Anj, I'm 27 years old and working full time in marketing. I have been living in share houses for over 6 years and am looking to move with like-minded people of a similar age to me :) I'm clean and tidy, I'll be bringing my own vacuum with me which I'm happy for you to use as a house vacuum, I'm respectful of people's personal space and their belongings, pay bills on time and always willing to lend a helping hand around the house when I can. Most importantly, I'm looking for a place where I can feel part of a man-made housemate family rather than feeling like I'm renting a room. I enjoy coming home at the end of a working day and having a chat with my housemates in the lounge room or going to the beach or somewhere with housemates on weekends in summer or going out for brunch and coffee. I'm also preferably after a room that's unfurnished, not near the front door ideally (since I'm a light sleeper! :( ) and I have a few kitchen items I can contribute however I'm willing to give them away/throw them out if you already have ample kitchen stuff. If I sound normal-ish so far and would like me to come have a look at a place, please let me know :) Thanks, Anj
I'm a Dentist from India who's planning to pursue her Master's from Deakin University. I'm an open minded , liberal , outgoing individual who loves sports and adventure activities. I am an extrovert and won't hesitate to indulge actively in all household chores . I'm hoping for an amiable stay with free spirited and like minded individuals preferably in an all female accomodation.
Hello fellow potential housemates! Im a 26 year old male looking for a new place to cramp your style :) Currently I'm working 4 days a week as a gardener in Blackburn South. A bit about me: I'm a friendly guy who enjoys being social at home. Always up for a chat (whether it be shit talk, deep conversation, whatever..i love conversing with others), sharing a meal/drink, watching a movie/series, house hold shenanigans or adventures. I also enjoy some alone time here and there and I appreciate when others are respectful of this. I like to keep a tidy area and am on board for chores and general house upkeep. My hobbies include: -playing drums/guitar & recording music -reading books (fairly new hobby, currently dabbling in philosophy and fiction works by philosophers) -adventuring -watching political/philosophical debates on youtube -watching movies Ideally I'm looking for a household that would accommodate for my interest in playing drums. I'm not somebody who plays at ridiculous hours btw, if anything most of the sound will be me banging on my electronic kit. OR if you know anybody who is renting out cheap rehearsal spaces long term, then I would prefer to do that (I like the idea of the separation anywho!). I'm planning on applying to drum for bands so the drum kit may live somewhere else anyway. I also drive and own a car, so a car space would be excellent. I am looking for a household where housemates are: -respectful -open minded & kind -able to communicate -happy to socialise but also understanding of privacy when needed -overall pleasant household vibe I also own a small washing machine, large family size fridge, medium sized freezer, 3-seater couch & 2 recliners. These don't have to come with me though, if there is no space/use for these I will just sell them. If I sound like the right fit for your home, then let me know and we'll talk soon :)
Looking for 1 other to sign a lease with. Idealy a 3 or a larger 2 bedroom place so we are not in a shoe box. Love to hang out and be mates with house mates but also like my own space. I'm an easy going, 27 year old who works full time. I have enough furniture to furnish an apartment so have the essentials covered. Would love to grab a coffee and have a chat to see if we would be a good fit. I would potentially be getting a dog in the future, so would love a house mate who is animal friendly :-)
I've been wanting to move around the Melbourne area for quite some time now but just haven't found the right place or the right person/people to live with. I see myself as someone who is always happy, loves to have heaps of fun, although I do love my down time. I'll hopefully find a new job once I find the right place, and there is a possibility that I'll go back to studying. I'm easy to get along with and am always up to going out ... even though I'm told I need to save my money! I like to have a clean area, so preferably looking for others that can clean up after themselves and not make the place messy. I hope that not only will I find the right roommate but it would be nice to make a new friend too!
I’m 23 years old, I am working as a pe teacher at two primary schools in Noble park and Ormond and am looking to move closer. I’m pretty easy going, flexible, play a variety of sports (mainly hockey at the moment) and am social but will also respect people’s space. 🙂
My name is Matthew White and I am 30 years old in June. I am looking for accommodation from late May onwards. I am currently a first-year student at Deakin University studying a Masters of Professional Accounting and Finance. I am conscientious and always pay my bills on time. The reason I am moving from my existing accommodation is so that I can have more room to enable stable study patterns. Please advise on the availability of furniture, WIFI, Foxtel and carspace. Looking in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne close to the CBD. Please reply via Flatmates only please.
I am a student, I'm moving for study. I'm from Adelaide where I've lived in a bunch of lovely places - I'm not a share house novice! Non-smoker, tidy. I love buying flowers even though I can't afford them. I can cook.
Hi ! My name is Chich and I’m 40 years old. Im a very clean and tidy person. I work a lot of the time including weekends. In my free time I like to relax or go visit friends. I don’t mind a chat now and then. I’m very respectful to people’s things, privacy and space.
I'm currently living in a shared housing in Burwood however I plan on moving to a relatively cheaper accommodation preferably close to Deakin University. I work part time and don't stay home that much so my basic requirements are a clean place to stay and reasonable housemates. I'm an extremely flexible guy and always clean up after myself so I would expect the same. :)
Hii :) I'm a 25year old female looking for stable accommodation for myself and my 28 year old male best friend , preferably for a period of 12 months or so. I'm currently unemployed but on government payments , As is my friend we are honestly fairly quiet and tend to keep to ourselves , we are very friendly and respectable honest and very clean. I'd really like my own space to get settled into to make it feel like a home for myself in an environment that I feel comfortable and make comfortable for others , whilst I'm staying in there home . The max I could comfortably pay is about $200P/W & my friend $200 the following week , ($400 fortnightly ) we would preferably like bills etc to be included with that figure.(but if it's not then that's fine) Were are hoping not long after getting settled we find employment so hopefully being unemployed is only for a short time . I'm really interested in getting a bungalow , or a studio apartment or even a room with an ensuite but honestly I'd really be great full for anything at this point, Feel free to message me as I am more then happy to tell use a bit more about my self and my friend if need be , Thanksssss heaps :) :)
I'm an aspiring Masters student at Swinburne University looking for decent roommates Myself: calm and kinda geeky, foodie loves computer games and tech stuff.
Hola, I am very open-minded and willing to make new connections around. I'll be joining Deakin for my Master of Communication this July. Previously worked for Uber as an Operations Specialist. I am fine with pets (even though I don't have one) and would definitely respect privacy. Would like to go out on weekends and would definitely like to team up for some travel activity.
Hi I'm Liam! Originally from Gippsland, I am making the move to Melbourne to undertake a new job. I am friendly and honest and get on well with people from all walks of life. While I enjoy socialising, I am also respectful of others and like to have time to myself. Neat and tidy, I will actively contribute with the upkeep of household chores. Like to relax and have a few drinks on the weekend and love going down to the G' to watch the mighty Tigers.
