Hello, I am a tidy and quiet person, and I enjoy chatting with people. I am a professional structural engineer. I like watching movies and documentaries, playing computer games and do exercise. I'm looking for a flatshare and have a budget of $250 per week. If you are interested in my profile, please get in touch. Thank you
I like books, camping, composing, interesting chats and funny people. I'm a part time piano teacher, and full time student entering my final semester of Politics Philosophy and Economics / BMus. In my free time I love to jam. Last year I was Woroni's International sub-editor, this year I am focusing more on study. I'm overseas right now but ask for my Skype, and shoot by any questions. I don't bite :)
Hello future flatmates! I'm a final year Arts/Law student and I work full time at a publishing firm at Parliament House. After deferring uni last semester to undertake an internship in Berlin, I'm looking for a new place to call home as soon as possible! You’ll find me to be an upbeat, uncomplicated, tidy and considerate housemate. I really love to cook and I enjoy a good chat (with or without a glass of red wine). When I’m not baking or cooking up a storm for friends and loved ones (housemates included!), I’m either volunteering, reading books, watching foreign films, learning new languages, trying out new restaurants, at the gym, going out for walks (and purposely getting lost to find cool stuff!) or travelling. While I’m just as happy to be alone doing any of the aforementioned things, I’m always happy to have company too. Looking forward to hearing from you and creating Canberra's most fabulous sharehouse!
Hey there, I am Thomas. I grew up in Paris and studied Earth Sciences in both Paris and Zürich (five months). For the next three to four years I will be studying at the Research School of Earth Sciences of the ANU as a PhD candidate. I am definitely easy-going, love listening to music, enjoy meeting up and partying with friends as well as watching movies or playing games. Not the best cook, expect me to try, but success is not always there ! Most importantly I would say, always paying attention to others and ready to give a hand !
Hi my names Olivia and I'm looking for a quieter place to live hopefully in South Canberra due to work location. I'm neat, tidy, pay bills on time and will always do my share of the workload. I'm interested in gym and cycling generally but will happily wind down with a book at the end of the day. Hoping for a furnished room but will happily live in an unfurnished place
I'm Vishal from Noida, India. I'm joining Master of Computing at ANU in semester 2. I'm looking for a shared accommodation. I'm fun to live with! I create music in my free time. I was a member of my college band. I also play a bunch of different sports including table tennis, badminton, etc.
I'm a graduate engineer moving up to Canberra for a six-month rotation in August. I'm an easy-going sort of guy and I always clean up after myself. I like to hang out for a chat if people are keen but otherwise I'm happy to respect everyone's privacy. I like to keep active, play sport socially and just generally be outside. Photography is also a big hobby of mine.
Hey. I am Aditi, a decent Indian female, about 22 years old, starting postgraduate studies at ANU in July, looking for a room / place to stay for at least 6 months (preferably longer) starting 30 July. I am friendly, helpful and easy to live with. I am financially stable and have no difficulties paying the rent and bills. I am neat and tidy and usually keep to myself, though am always up for a chat and enjoy occasional outings. I love to read books, watch films and TV shows, and enjoy travelling.
Hey, I am a student completing my hospitality internship at The Hotel Kurrajong. Therefore, would be working part time. I am very easy going and fairly adjustable. I like to socialize but at the same time do my own thing. Really love to cook, play a few sports (cricket, football) and learning to play the guitar (New hobby :p). Would preferably look for an accommodation in south Canberra or city center as I do not have a vehicle or near a public transport stop for easy access. Cheers, Arvind
I work in technology-public sector. I'm a project manager. I'm looking for a furnished apartment. I'm pretty active, enjoy jogging and aerobics. I like reading and enjoy good music. On weekends I like to hangout, drink good coffee and eat good food. I also travel to Sydney regularly on weekends.
I'm a fourth year student at ANU who works part time in hospitality. I'm fairly laid back as a housemate, always quite tidy and respectful of people's space. I enjoy socialising with the people I'm living with over the occasional shared dinner or glass of wine, although understand the need for personal space as well.
Hey everyone, I am an Architect from India and have recently moved to Australia. I am an easy going, fun loving guy. I like to socialise and listening to music in my free time. I intend to move to Canberra to look for a job there, will be needing the room for a couple of months.
Hi, I'm Steph :) I'm a 25 year old postgraduate student, who loves yoga, Netball, reading and travel. I am moving to Canberra to complete a 4 to 5 month placement as part of my studies and considering staying on longer depending on work opportunities. I am looking for somewhere to live in either the Griffith, Kingston or Braddon area, with a lovely housemate/housemates. I love catching up over a cup of tea or glass of wine but also enjoy having some down time to read a good book or to watch a movie. I am considerate and tidy, and enjoy living in a welcoming and well-kept space. I would like to live somewhere where friends and partners are welcome, but not a party house. I will be on placement three days, studying/working from home two days and in and out of the house on weekends. If I sound like a good match for your place, please get in touch.
I'm in my 20s and relocating from Sydney to Canberra for work commitment. I have slightly flexible of move in dates, i'll get to Canberra by 16th of July, and depending on how soon I can find the suitable accommodation, I'm happy to move in anytime from then :) I've always lived in a shared apartments with few flatmates from various nationality and backgrounds. With that being said I have full understanding regarding the importance of one's privacy, but also know well how to socialise and get along with others. I could be quite a neat freak and I always like to have a nice, clean and comfortable place to go back to after work, so yes I am a tidy person. I have lived in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney and now taking my time to explore what the capital city has to offer :) I may work a lot, but on my leisure time I do enjoy good movies, good foods and occasionally bake (when I really have all the time on hand!) and ofc enjoy good chats and hanging out from time to time, we are all human afterall :) I'm non-smokers and have no pets. Would prefer place that's also smoke free and no pets too.
I'm a 23-year-old soon to be public health grad from Melbourne who will be working full-time from March 2018. I'm looking for housemates/share-house close to Forrest so I can cycle/walk/take public transport. Peter is 24, an audiologist who will be working on Northbourne Avenue. You can expect us to keep our area tidy and clean, contribute to our fair share of the housework and pay rent and bills on time. I love going to musicals, concerts, visiting art galleries and planning future holiday trips. I also enjoy visiting the cinema, exploring the bush/going on road trips whenever I can and spending quality time with friends and family. I plan to visit home often on weekends.
I'm an Electrician, excited to go travelling in approximately late 2018, and currently looking for a place to live anywhere in Canberra with a/some chilled out Canberran/s, who would enjoy the company of an easygoing me, and my super-awesome fox cross jack-russel terrier, named 'Beans'. If you like dogs, Beans will steal your heart and throw away the key! We'd love to share a place with a secure backyard, so Beans can play during the daytime while I work. It would be great if there are other dogs there to keep Beans company too. Cooking and sharing an occasional or even regular communal dinner is great fun - pasta is my specialty! BBQ'ing, or cooking/hanging out around the fire is also exciting - I have a little keg I made into a fire drum for doing exactly this. I enjoy company and making friends, so if you have guests visiting, I'm always good with being friendly, and will not be awkward or uninviting towards anyone. Beans will usually bark initially, but only takes a moment to calm down, and will not bite - he is even great with cats! My family and friends are in Canberra, so I will not to be a piece of furniture in the house, and Beans and I will often get out to visit them. Here's some hobbies/values/interests of mine: Camping, freediving/snorkelling and spearfishing, exploring, music (especially live!), PC gaming, quoting movies/Tv shows, real food, board/card games, whisky tasting, equality, indoor cricket, playing instruments, exploring theories and interesting ideas, and enjoying variety. Beans likes playing fetch/tug-of-war/tag, and getting tummy rubs, back scratches and chicken drumsticks. Hi! :)
Young, bubbly professional working in healthcare and statistics. Looking for a place to call home. Originally from Sydney, currently in Bruce. Preference is for a clean place with my own room (not shared), fun and friendly professionals/students that also know when to give personal space. I usually keep myself busy with work, reading or soccer and also like to go out on the weekends to meet with friends/nature.
Hi! I'm a 24 year old Master's student in Earth Sciences at ANU and I'm looking for a room in a share house from end of August onwards. I am ideally looking for a sharehouse in Braddon, Turner, O'Connor, Lyneham, Dickson, Reid and Campbell. I'm clean, active and friendly, and I'm looking for flatmates who are the same. I love running and riding, and being in the outdoors in general. I've spent a lot of time living in many different countries, and I am flexible and adapt quickly to any kind of situation. I have a year's experience in sharing apartments with other early- to mid-twenty year olds. I'm moving out of my on-campus accommodation because I'm looking for a change in scenery (the lower rent is nice too!) I look forward to hearing from you!!
I am fun, funny, clean, tidy and proactive in home maintenance. I can mow lawns, troubleshoot fuses and appliances. I am easy going and accommodating. I am a land-lord myself, so I have respect for people's property. I have a dog, who is an excellent guard dog and property protector. I am meticulous at keeping him clean. He does not dig, chew or damage. He wears an anti-barking collar to keep him quiet during the day so neighbours are not annoyed (he actually doesn't bark, but he does cry...).
Friendly and respectful person. Appreciates personal space, but also keen for the occasional social catchup :) Melbourne born, moving to ACT for work. BCom graduate, also studying Japanese. Enjoy walking, working out, trying new places around town.
Hi there! My name is Quang. I am an undergrad international student majoring in International Relations at ANU. I am looking for an accommodation close to ANU with minimum 3 months lease (maximum budget $250 per week). I am friendly and sociable and looking to live with other students from ANU if possible. I also enjoy having shared meals and a good chinwag. In terms of hobbies, I am into photography, sports, playing board games, traveling, and learning foreign cultures and languages (can speak English, Vietnamese and Japanese). I am a keen learner who believes that learning never stops. I am enthusiastic and passionate in whatever I do. While I'm studying, I also work part-time to support myself. My parents provide sufficient funds to responsibly cover my expenses as well, so my financial situation is pretty steady. Please message me if you would like to get in contact. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey, my name's Daniel! I'm a 2015 psychology graduate currently working full-time in the public service. I'm looking for a place close to the city, or somewhere near a bus stop. I've got furniture for my room, but can also offer an iron and ironing board, digital piano, and a chest freezer. The place I'm looking for would ideally have an ensuite, covered parking space, dishwasher, washing machine, and a bedroom with enough space for a queen bed and large desk. I am looking to rent for a period of 6-12+ months, with a fairly flexible move in date. My ideal housemate/s would be friendly, sociable (but also understanding of personal space), tidy, and of either gender. I believe it's important to have a coffee/beer/dinner every now and then so we wouldn't be complete strangers to each other, but I completely understand if you want your space! Let me know if you're looking for a housemate and I'd be more than happy to have a chat!
