Hi! I'm a third-year uni student who is looking for a private room. I'm easy going and respectful of flatmates. I don't really cook, like to keep things tidy and clean. I love travelling and hiking. Apart from uni, I work part time as a waiter so I like to keep to myself on weekends but I'd love to hang out once in a while.
Hi there! We moved to Sydney a couple of weeks ago and we are looking for a room to share. We are quiet, clean and very reliable people. We are a couple so we would like to share a room! We have family living in Sydney in case for any required reference. Thank you!
Micaela is taking a posgraduate course of Sustainable Architecture in the university of Sydney so we preferred to be close to de Uni, and Tomas is going to work in a construction company. We are easy going, clean, tidy and non-smokers. We love nature and dogs, so we have no problem with pets.
Hi there, Please kindly consider me as a flat mate. I am a Doctor in RPA Hospital and will voluntarily secure the place with a 10 week bond for a 1 year contract stay. I am a 35 yo married mom of two and I am currently here alone for the year on a Clinical Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery starting February. This would be an ideal place for me as it is secure and very near to my place of work, which I need to get to at all hours. I dabble in guitars and pianos and drus for fun, but what I would really like to do for fun is surfing ( last done way back in 2009 Kerry Ireland...ahh..) My reference is Lyn West, Innternational Medical Graduate co-ordinator for Clinical Surgical Fellows in RPA Hospital at firstname.lastname@example.org Best Regards, Nora Aziz
Im new to Sydney so Im looking for a fun house with good people to make friends with. I work full time in North Sydney and don't work a Monday to Friday working week so Il be home on odd days. If you like good music, good movies, are partial to sports and like to have a social life, then we can be best friends
I'm a Kiwi who has just moved to Sydney to begin a post-grad medical degree at USyd. I studied my undergrad degree at Cambridge University in the UK and have lived and worked in London for the past year. I'm easy-going and clean, but am also very partial to a good night out. Not fussed about whether I live with students or workers, just ideally looking to live with a cool group of people who know how to have a laugh.
Hi there, Looking for a short term let in the Inner West for a few months. My ideal would be a 2-bed, 2 bath property but could be flexible on this. I am a tidy, funny professional who likes her own space but enjoys a chat and a drink at times. No real furniture, so I don't need masses of storage but would like a room with at least a decent double bed and enough space for my things for the duration. I tend to be really busy and independent but I am a respectful housemate and can also be flexible with dates for moving in/out. I like to go out and socialise, but my all-night partying days are well behind me! I tend to cook, catch up on series or hang out with friends on adventures on the weekends. p.s. Bonus points if you need a +1 for the odd pub quiz night, I rock those!
I was born and raised in Australia up to the age of 5, then I moved to Dubai, UAE with my family. I am enrolled in the University of Sydney doing a dual degree in economics and arts (psychology). This is why I would prefer a place close to my university. My hobbies are reading, exercising, martial arts, sketching, guitar, piano, singing, video gaming and going out with friends. I also enjoy the outdoors and a range of activities like paintball, go-karting, golf, basketball and football. I believe I would make a good housemate because I am kind, well-mannered, organised, neat, selfless, culturally educated. able to communicate calmly, resolve conflicts, compromise and clean up after myself effectively. I have a lot of experience living with other people because I have stayed in over 15 hostels while travelling. I will admit I am not the best at cooking but am slowly learning and getting better. *Note: My rent p/w is negotiable. *Although I don't smoke, I do not mind if my flatmate(s) are smokers.
Hi guys, Our names are Maja and Harleigh and we are two single, female, FRIENDS in our 20s from Sydney looking to find a place to live pretty much anywhere in Sydney's Inner West, Outer CBD or Eastern Suburbs. Ideally we'd like to move out by the end of Feb, however we're both flexible! HOUSE REQUIREMENTS: Two seperate bedrooms - that's pretty much it! We're both working full time - Harleigh works full-time doing admin for an Entrepreneur/Business College in the city and Maja works full-time for an Australian fashion label. In our spare time we enjoy hanging out with friends, drinkin a lil wine and relaxin - we're both pretty chill. If you think we'd be suited to take over your lease or move in with you, please let us know! We're a combination package, so one of us will come with the other! Hope to hear from you soon, Maja and Harleigh x
Hey I'm Sharleen :) I'm 25, a post-grad uni student and am looking for a place to rent as my lease is finishing up in a month. I'm clean, very easy-going, enjoy cooking and being outdoors. I'm always up for being social and going for a drink with housemates, but respect those who want their space. I've got a bit of furniture I could add to your place- both communal and for my room if needed.
Considerate, fun, light-hearted and just all round lovely (or so I'm told :P) I'm 25 and work 4 days a week in a steady job, I love making friends and hanging out with people, sharing good times. In my spare time I indulge my passions which is mostly different creative sports (climbing, parkour) and am getting more into painting and art. Guilty pleasures: definitely binge watching comedy shows <3 As a housemate I am clean and respectful, I think a house is a place where everyone should feel comfortable and safe to be themselves, and I encourage that :) and I will totally indulge in making the house feel wholesome and add a creative touch, looking to get into gardening too If you like all of this then send me a message and we can see if we're a good fit!
Hi everyone. My name is David, I'm a 30yr old Taiwanese boy, currently studying cookery and working to pay the tuition fees at the same time. So I have a quiet busy life, but when I have free time, I like to do some social drinking, hangout, BBQ at park, beach, ...etc. Easy going, a good nonjudgmental listener, love food, love cook, and love to share, a big time home cook. As a chef, I can't stand people who doesn't clean after them self. That's pretty much everything I can think about right now. Hope can hear from you soon. Cheers :)
Hey all, I'm a friendly & outgoing Canadian (Bilingual in French & English). I work as a receptionist in a 24hr club and do occasional hospitality bar/waitstaff jobs on days off. I am looking for 1 or 2 rooms in a flat/house share for 3 people. The rooms are for myself and two Italian boys who I lived with in NZ last year. Nicola & Nicolo are friends from Italy, they are both working in Hospitality and Nicola is also studying Business. We are all very easy going, enjoy to chill - not interested in a party house, we don't drink much other than the occasional beer or glass of wine. We are clean and enjoy to socialize/cook together when we have the chance.Very respectful of others and their space, we have lived in hostels for too long now so it will be nice to finally have a bit of our own space.. and to get away from bunk beds!
I'm a 26 year old full-time graphic designer. I have a beauiful Kelpie X named Erik; he's house-trained, obedience trained, gets plenty of exercise and stays outdoors when I'm at work. My hobbies/interests include (but not exclusive to) reading, sci-fi, mountain biking, art, cheesy horror films, roller derby and the big outdoors. Looking for a relaxed, friendly household, I've been living in sharehouses for the past 8 years, so very good at cleaning up after myself! Would love to hear from you.
I'm Laura and I'm a 25 year old Sydneysider. I currently work as an Administrative Officer at Arup Australia, an Engineering firm in the CBD. I enjoy an active and varied lifestyle. I love yoga and being outdoors (especially close to the beach) I love creating and eating delicious meals. Love a good wine and cheese board! I'm also quite creative and enjoy reading and writing in my spare time.
I'm a 30 year old full time professional. I am fairly relaxed, social and clean. I keep it fairly quiet during the week and am active and enjoy catching up with friends on the weekends. I love dogs and would enjoy sharing a house with pets but I don't have any myself. I am looking to live in the inner west. Please feel free to contact me if you think I could be a good fit for your place.
Hi there, my name is Alex. I'm a 25-year-old guy who is focused but fun, wanting to contribute to a homely and respectful household. I'm very tidy, clean and quiet. I love a good chat and friendly housemates. I'm originally from Melbourne, studying postgraduate law at Sydney University. Don't hesitate to ask me anything you'd like to know.
My name is Annabelle, I am 27 years old and I have just returned from living in Paris, France for a few months. I love music, reading, relaxing, wine, cheese, exercising, socializing (yet I also enjoy my own space). I'm a down to earth and chilled out person, very easy to get along with, I have a great sense of humor, I am respectful of others and I always clean up after myself (I'm not a neat freak but I do take pride in my home and like to be tidy). I love the beach, spending time with friends and family, meeting new people, going to new bars/pubs/restaurants, live performances and anything that is a bit different. I love to have fun and go out but I'm more the 'smoke bomb'/'phantom' type of person rather than bringing the party home.
I'm friendly, very tidy, like to meet new people and go out. I will spend most daytime working at the university, thus I am very easy to live with, since I basically just need the flat as a place to sleep (and eventually eat).
My name is Josh. USYD student researching at Westmead Children's Hospital. Work part-time as a chef (on weekends in the Blue Mountains). Very friendly, like to chat but study a lot and prefer a more quiet/non-party household.
I am Su Yin, a 27+ yo medical student at USYD (year 1). I am currently staying at my cousin in Elizabeth Bay but I am looking for some long term accommodation options nearer school. A brief introduction about me – after working for about 5 years in Singapore, I switched from the food industry into the medical industry and decided to pursue an Medical Degree at USYD. My focus here is to study but I would also love to make new friends and get to know the culture of Sydney. For most days I will head to USYD but once a week, I will have clinical school in St Leonard. I am looking for a place that has a good balance of travel time between USYD and St. Leonards and am willing to stay in the indicated suburbs. I am generally a clean person and will treat the common areas with respect and I am hoping to live with potential flatmates that would do the same as well. I like exercising and Muay Thai and generally eat rather healthy but also a fan of binge eating once in a while (who doesn't have cheat days?!) . I also like cooking and baking and love a good glass of whiskey or wine and like to have conversations with people.
Hey dudes, my name's René. I'm 23 which is old as for a student these days. I'm starting my masters in Sydney next year, and this particular flavour of masters focuses on radiation physics in medical context. So like cancer treatment, imaging technology and whatnot. I been out of uni two years now, did the BSc at the University of Auckland and finished up there end of 2014. Since then I've worked a number of different jobs saving those coins. So that's sorta where I'm coming from on the academic side of things. As for me personally I'm pretty relaxed on just about everything. Or think I am at least. I've grown up a wee bit since undergrad and I can't really be bothered partying hard like I used to. I'd rather get stuff done ya know? A few cheeky beers every now and then doesn't go amiss though. I'll probably be out of the house most of the time I guess, between coursework and sporting commitments, some kind of employment and whatever other social opportunities crop up. So if unobtrusive flatmates are your thing I'm your guy. My sport of choice is weightlifting so I got decent at cooking since one of the things we in the community like to do is eat a lot. One-pot wonders are a specialty and a couple of them I have whittled down to an art form. Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed in this very general summary!
I'm originally from Brisbane and worked for a few years as a lawyer in London. I'm moving to Sydney to re-qualify as a doctor and will be studying at Sydney Uni. I'm quiet and tidy, but not antisocial so looking for potential flatmates that will be keen for a chat every now and again. I like cycling, cooking and I play the piano.
Hi my name is Darren, I've just come over to Sydney from Melbourne to begin post grad med which I'm really excited about. Im a really easy going, laid back guy, always happy for a chat or a movie binge, games night, whatever you're into. Im generally tidy but not a neat freak - would always do my own dishes etc. Would love to make new friends wherever I'm living but also will probably be crazy busy at Uni so I'm happy with easy going or outgoing housemates! Im good with animals if you have any and am respectful of peoples personal space. A furnished room would suit me best as I'm more or less coming over with the clothes on my back but I'm flexible with whatever is available. Please message me if you think you have something that might suit me - I'm currently available to meet potential housemates/view rooms now that I'm in Sydney. Thanks for reading
Hello there, my name is Gage! I am a New Zealand student currently studying a BSci at the University of Sydney, and am looking for a room for the school year. My degree is full-time, and I hope to transition into medical school afterwards. I am a tidy and quiet individual, and I like to think I am very outgoing and friendly. I've flatted before, and I would love to have flatmates who are fun and interesting. I look forward to living with you!
QLD guy moving to Sydney to start study at Uni Syd. Spent the last 5 years living and working overseas. I really enjoy great conversation over a few quiet drinks. Reliable, quiet and clean - I also love to cook from scratch (with the occasional baking). Happy to live with anyone from anywhere as am very open minded and tolerant. Look forward to meeting soon.
We are a group of young guys who all work in various industries. Will is a full time Chef at Ms. G's in Potts Point, Scott is an Engineer, Isaac runs a Cafe and Harry works in the film biz. We are all fun, easy going guys who will get along with anyone. Some of us have lived together in the past and have kept fun, clean and respectful houses.
Hi Guys, we are two girls from Germany looking for a lovely place to stay ! My friend is on her second year and I am on my fourth year visa. We are easy-going, friendly, open-minded, relaxed, tidy and foodlovers. All we need is a nice place to live , where we can create are own little home. Either sharing a doubleroom or two small single-rooms. Also don't mind a studio-apartment or similar. Our budget is 500$ together per week. We can move in from the 31.01.2017 . We are down for an occasional drink or two but during the week we are both working and studying. :-) Definitely not after hosting massive housepartys but occasional get-togethers. Definitely two responsible , chilled human-beings and won't bring you any trouble. Also happy to sign a lease for 6 months and contribute a creative touch to the new home. :-)
I am a third year PhD student from Germany. For that I am going to do a six month internship at the university of Sydney starting at the end of February. Concerning the shared flat, it is important for me to keep the flat clean and tidy, so everyone can enjoy the shared environment. I'm easy going, love a good BBQ and hanging out with friends, but I'm not so much into partying.
Hey, I am a Canadian female living in Sydney while I study my masters at Western Sydney. I enjoy travel, hiking, reading, nature, netflix and listening to music. I'm friendly but respect privacy and am very clean.

Hi! My name is Lieke. I am currently studying International Management, and the semester in Sydney will be the last part of my masters. I am looking for a room close to/in the neighbourhoods of Newtown, Camperdown, Ultimo and Redfern. Preferably I would like to share the house with other students. I am a fun person to hang out with, but can be serious at the same time. Since it is the end of my studies, I will have to study quite a bit, but I would love to sometimes cook, eat or drink a glass of wine together. Moreover, I am a tidy and clean person.

I am looking for a great group of friends as well as house mates who enjoy a good laugh, sport, live music, art, a drink or three, a good night out (or a good night in) and don't mind showing an out of towner the ropes of Sydney.
Hey there! I'm a full time vet student at Sydney uni and so am hoping for a place relatively nearby. Would love a home with pets around but not a deal-breaker. Am generally neat and tidy to compensate for a general lack in cooking ability. When not drinking tea and studying, I enjoy reading, hiking, beach days, movie nights and exploring local coffee shops. Looking for a friendly vibe and weekly social dinners/wine nights and possibly some group pub trivia tossed in! As an added bonus I also come with a new Nespresso coffee machine.
I currently live in Wollongong and I'm looking to move to Sydney beginning of February for a new job. I love binge watching TV shows, hanging out with friends, finding cool new restaurants and cafes, reading and listening to music. Looking for a place to live where the roommates love to hang out from time to time but also understand personal space! I'm respectful, easy to get along with and quite tidy. Please get in touch if you think we'd be great roommates! :)
I can fix things. Handy with computers. Awesome at google searches. Working full time and studying part time. I don't smoke. Can sit extended hours on youtube or watching tv shows or playing games to relax.
Hello I'm Kirst, and I am looking for a place to call home somewhere in the inner west. You'll either find me at work (Tues-Sat), exploring the outdoors, sipping on a beer or hanging with a mate. I'm in my mid twenties and would prefer to be a part of a happy professional sociable household and share a meal from time to time! I would prefer to be close to public transport (even though I drive everyday day) I intend to make use of it one day! Prefer long term stay 6-12 months+, although it is preferred but not necessary. Also happy to team up with others. Flexible with move dates - the sooner the better, mid/late Jan would be ideal, though if it's quite the catch I'm happy wait a little longer! If my add is still up, I am still looking :) Don't hesitate to call or message Hope to hear from you K
Hi! I am a mid-twenties professional working full-time in the CBD. I am very easy-going, tidy and respectful. I enjoy staying active, but also happy to kick back watching sports and share a beer with mates. I am originally from Sydney. Not to brag, but I am a gun at washing dishes. Hoping to find one or two like minded fellas to share with in the inner west. Erskineville, Alexandria, Marrickville, Newtown areas feel like a good fit for me.
Hello! I'm an incoming international freshman at the University of Sydney. Born in Malaysia and raised in Singapore, I am a very easygoing person who is open to trying lots of new things! While I do enjoy being social, I also appreciate everyone's personal space. As I'll be a full-time student, I'll most likely be busy throughout the week, though I'd definitely like to hang out on some nights and the weekends. I am looking for some nice, long-term accommodation within the surrounding suburbs of USyd, so feel free to get in touch with me!
I'm studying at the University of Sydney. I'm fairly easy-going and get along with most people. I enjoy socialising but appreciate my own, and others' privacy. I mainly just read, study and go for walks.
I'm 22, working a receptionist for Google and IBM. I'm responsible, kind, clean and always pay my bills on time. Definitely queer and veg friendly, also love animals. I'm a creative personality, I love movement, dance, singing (not at 3 in the morning I promise), yoga and pilates. I've been in Sydney 2 years and I'm looking for a long term place with people I would in time be able to call friends. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me and let me know if you want to meet so I can see your place.
I'm a quiet and tidy phd student. I'm originally British but I've got an Australian passport and I've been here for 6 years, so now I'm true blue. I'm open an minded, non-smoker, casual drinker. Can cook. I'm ideally looking for a few like minded young people with whom I can make friends and spend some time hanging out. I like reading and watching football (soccer).
Hi there, I'm Ryan! As a highly sociable, friendly and respectful guy, I'm sure to be a fun and suitable flatmate. Having just graduated from Melbourne Uni with a B.Sc. and after accepting a full-time, ongoing role as an analyst at Investment Trends, I'm now seeking to relocate to Sydney. With experience aplenty in house sharing situations, I'm a tidy and resourceful contributor in any shared living environments. Beyond that, however, I love to have fun! In my downtime, you'll find me hitting up the local music scene (fan of D&B and jazz), going to the football (soccer), exploring every pub and locally brewed craft beer in the vicinity and just generally having a ripper time with friends. Above all though, having lived in several cities across Australia and in Malaysia, I embrace meeting and appreciating everyone. Thanks for considering me and I hope to hear from you :)
Hey, I'm Lucy! I'm a full-time worker/part time graphic design student in my early twenties. Looking for a private UNFURNISHED room in a shared house with other people IN THEIR TWENTIES. I'm super friendly + clean/tidy, and would like to share a house with like-minded individuals. I'm also very social~ I like to drink and go out on weekends and would also like to have friends around, although I am respectful! (So no strict rules on guests etc) I'm not too concerned about room size, so long as it's clean, in good condition with good natural lighting :) I would also like to purchase my own furniture. It must also be located in one of the inner city suburbs! Lastly, I am not looking for a house that is owned by a company!! I'm looking for a comfortable HOME, not a boarding situation. Please contact me if you feel you have a suitable place!
Time to fly the nest ! Looking for a room in the Sydney metro area. Work two jobs, and am definitely an organised, clean & easy going guy, plus respectful around other people and their property.
Hi, Just finished my fieldwork here in Sydney for my master's thesis in social anthropology and am about to do a little trip to celebrate! As the girl I rent my current room from need to have her room back I need to find a new place to stay when I come back by the end of February. Will be in Sydney until 26/1 so could always come by and introduce myself before then. A little bit about me: I am 32 years old and from Sweden. I have a lot of interest but some of them are health, art (both creating and enjoying other's), music, photography and travelling. Love spending time with friends but also enjoy my space. I am trustworthy, respectful, independent, open minded and easy going. Also vegan but have no problem living with someone who is not.
I'm from Vietnam, having studied and worked in Singapore for 8 years. I'm going to Sydney University this Feb to pursue Master of Interaction Design. I'm a clean and organized person. Privacy is what I look for in accommodation. Travelling and photography are my passion. During my free time, I like reading fiction books, listening to music and hanging out with friends.
Hi guys! Im looking for a room to move into by Jan 28th. I'm non smoker, friendly 26 years old, Indonesian female. I have lived in Australia for the last 8 years and I work as a photographer. I'm social but also like to have privacy / quiet time. I enjoy visiting new cafes / restaurant, and usually have a glass of wine at the end of the day. Extremely reliable and punctual, pays rent on time, great sense of humour, clean and chilled! :D Ideally looking for a house that's not too crowded maybe max of 2-3 housemates. Inner west preferred, Leichhardt, Balmain, Rozelle or Newtown.
Hi I'm Abeer, I'm an MBA student at Macquerie University. Have been in Sydney for a bit more than a year enjoying all the sights & adventures the city has to offer :). I'm quite easygoing, neat, considerate (in terms of flatmates & noise), a foodie who loves trying out new cuisines, and enjoy meeting new people and building connections. I am fond of Newtown and the nearby suburbs, where I am looking to settle down for at least the next 6 months.
I'm easy going, chatty when needed (or wanted) l, very tidy in shared spaces and respectful of other people and their property. I can also cook for those interested in fine pizza, pasta and soups :)
im easy going and know how to do all the homely things like cook and clean. in my spare time i prefer to get out of the house and into the outdoors. climbing mountain biking, diving, etc.
I am a 25 year-old fulltime English teacher at a language school in the city. I am reasonably quiet (it takes me a while to get out of my shell) but can be quite fun and lively once I get to know people. I occasionally like to muck around on the piano (they come with headphones don't worry!) and sing a bit (only when no one is in the house!). I enjoy a drink and every now and then but would probably prefer a cafe date with friends rather than huge nights out every Friday (Don't be surprised if you find me on a Fri night with a good movie or book or engrossed with some good music with my beloved headphones on). I am not a huge cook but will sometimes prepare Asian food. I enjoy a neat & organized environment and am also obsessively on time with payments and rent. I am also quite adept at making groan-worthy dad jokes! Thankyou Chamberlain Zhang
29 year old nurse working at RPA hospital. I'm considerate, house broken and tidy! I'm a relaxed person just enjoy the simple things: baking, seeing friends occasionally, chilling at home. I'm seeking a place within walking distance to RPAH!!! The room must have a large built in wardrobe and be big enough for a double bed, desk and drawers.
I'm a doctor working at St Vincent's (from Feb) but mostly office hours with the occasional weekend on call and VERY occasional evening or night shift. I'm British but have permanent residency in Australia and looking to get my citizenship when I can (2019!). I tend to listen to music (everything bar RnB/hip hop & drum 'n' bass) more than watch TV & I have decks at home for pretending to be a DJ, but wouldn't use them while you're home. When I do watch TV, it's the news, politics and docos on the ABC or SBS or on-semand stuff from Stan. Happy to also sit and watch a film together with a bottle of wine in the evening. I like to cook and would be happy to share meals, although I'm veggie so equally happy to do my own thing. I also love to entertain, either dinner or a bigger group for drinks. If you wanted to have a houseparty I could be convinced, but only for special occasions! I like to have the odd big night out, although this tends to just be on the long weekends and generally on the scene, although I am trying to find what else gay Sydney has to offer (recommendations welcome!) I'm looking to get a house rather than an apartment and I will be getting a dog so please don't waste your time if that's a no-go for you!
