I'm looking for an unfurnished room (with own bathroom, or not shared with more than one person) in a very clean home close to public transport. I work full time on weekdays so they’re pretty low key for me. I’m a bit of a hygiene freak, so I like a clean and tidy place and would like to live with similar people. I really enjoy alone time, but always up for a chat with drinks. I do have a cavoodle puppy with me. He’s very cute and small. He's toilet trained and I intend to keep him indoors. He’d go to work with me during the day and would get shipped off to his other home on the weekends, so he’s basically only ever home when I am. Definitely interested in teaming up with other dog owners to find a pet friendly place and set up a new home.
Hey, I'm Tess!! I'm 25 and work full time at University of Sydney Union creating fun programs & events for international students. I'm pretty much fascinated by anything to do with travel, culture or language, and have studied abroad in Spain & South Korea, but I promise to not go on about it (too much). I'm a pretty social and energetic person, so would love a housemate who is keen to have a chat after work over dinner, or join in the odd Community marathon (blanket fort optional...) When I can I love to get out of Sydney to go hiking, but usually I just settle for a bike ride or picnic in the city. These days my favourite thing to do is find some live jazz and swing dance with friends. Otherwise my hobbies are pretty standard; I like to bake, write, socialise, play guitar/ukulele and, of course, binge on Netflix series and classic 80s/90s movies. I'm hoping to take up piano lessons again soon, although won't be practising at all hours so don't let that concern you! Above all else I'm looking for someone friendly and easy-going who understands that shared living requires compromise and communication, as household tension is the absolute worst!! Hoping my new housemates are: - Sociable and friendly, love to do house dinners & drinks :) - Working professionals - Tidy, respectful etc. all that usual housemate stuff! - OK with me bringing all my plant babies along? I have a nice leather couch, dining table + chairs, nice indoor pot plants, paintings and various other bits of furniture that can be shared or put into storage. I've been trialling Marley Spoon food boxes so if anyone wants to get in with me on that I'm happy to share some cooking! In general usually keen to share occasional meals and general staples, just to save waste & money :) And also pretty environmentally friendly so would like to continue my soft plastic recycling and set up a worm farm if people are willing!
Hi, I'm Mathieu 25 years old from France, I work full time as civil engineer in Sydney. I'm looking for a private room in a nice house or apartment with cool flatmates !
Hi! My name is Sofia, I'm from Colombia. I'm studying at Sydney University . I want to find a room near the university (6th of October to December 6th or maybe more). I studied Social Communication, and I used to work at Rolling Stone magazine in my country. I love animals so I'm going vegetarian. I love yoga, vinyasa is my favorite, hang out, and go to my favorite place in the world, the beach.
I'm originally a Perth girl, moved to Sydney a couple of years ago and decided I'm here for the long haul. I am in my last couple of months of my masters of occupational therapy degree and work part time with children. I am friendly and very easy-going but lead a pretty quiet life and have lots of experience with flat sharing.
My name is Crystal and I am 30 years old, and in my third year of a Speech Pathology degree at Sydney University. I also work part time during the week and on the weekends. I'm looking for a place around the Inner West - preferably Glebe, Chippendale, Annandale, Camperdown, Marrickville, Ultimo, Stanmore type areas and some surrounding suburbs. I am willing to look at both furnished and unfurnished places. Ideally I'm after a place to stay for around 12 months, however will look at shorter leases for the right property. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi, I'm Lucas, a 25 y/o engineer in the telco industry. I'm from the Sutherland shire and am looking to live closer to work. Your place appeals to me as it has off street parking as I have a work vehicle. I work a lot and like to spend my time in the evening to cook, relax and listen to music or swim laps and ride my bike. I'm a clean, pro active and easy going person who enjoys a good conversation and share a laugh over a beer or cup of tea. I'll be going back to the shire regularly to surf, play golf with friends and see family. Let me know if you're interested and we'll organise to meet and check the place out. Thanks, Lucas
Hey! I am a Canadian girl moving to Sydney in January to study medicine at Sydney Uni. I'm friendly and social but also take my schoolwork seriously so am looking for other students who like finding a good work/life balance :)
Heya! I'm Callum, just moved back from a year traveling overseas and looking for a place to live in the Inner West. Currently working as a bartender so I enjoy the occasional several beverages, but aside from that a friendly, clean and pretty reserved kind of guy ✌🏼
Clean, considerate, experienced in share housing, pays bills and rent on time, quiet when needed, but also a keen conversationalist. I am a people person, enjoy living with housemates and getting to know them :)
Hi folks, I'm looking for a place for me and my doggo in the inner west. I work full-time in warehousing and like to get creative in my spare time or hang out and chill with my pup. I've share-housed for a long time so I understand the rules. Keen to find a home not a place to sleep. Open to all housemates as long as you're a creature lover.
I´m very organized and clean. Love to cook and eat healthy. Very respectful of other peoples´ sleep and personal space. Passionate about dogs, healthy eating and cooking. Love to meditate and do yoga and home workouts. Moved to Sydney from Colombia and I´, staying for two years while I study to become a certified personal trainer.
Hi all :) I'm new to Sydney/Australia and am first year international (Singaporean) medical student at USyd looking for long term accommodation from Jan 2019 to Dec 2019. I'm extroverted, friendly, nice and most importantly, actually can and will clean up after myself. I can cook and also recently took a handyman course so I'm equipped to fix basic/everyday malfunctions around the house. Other important facts: - non smoker and as long as I don't smell it I'm ok if you do - I'm an animal lover so house pets aren't a problem for me - I will not be throwing any party in the house or otherwise bring home any strangers - I generally stick to a normal schedule and won't be back at weird hours - I always pay rent on time - I will respect your privacy and ask that you do the same I have a pretty wide range of interests but my main ones are Muay Thai, SCUBA diving, swimming, and travelling. I enjoy a good game of ultimate frisbee but I'm only a casual player. I can also both snowboard and ski. Overall I'm pretty chill with 99% of the things you can pull as long as I'm informed beforehand but would still prefer if any whacky things are kept to a minimum. *I would strongly prefer if the rent includes all utility bills*
Hey, I’m Liv. I worked as a registered nurse at RPA. Originally from Newcastle but have lived in the inner west for almost 4 years now. Seeking like minded people that don’t mind socializing, having the occasional dinner together. I’m not a party animal, but don’t mind the odd drink. I am both respectful and very clean. I’m sure I would be the perfect new addition to your household.
Theatre professional and freelance graphic designer from the Sunshine Coast/Brisbane, who has lived out of home since I was 22. Looking to relocate to Sydney in October after a 6 month national tour of a musical and looking for a place to call home. A little about me: I'm an avid tea drinker, music lover, theatre-goer, netflix binger, shower singer, yoga enthusiast, self-awarded masterchef winner 2016. My ideal house is queer friendly, progressive, tidy and inviting with a sense of home. A space I can contribute to and everyone is at ease...but most importantly a gas stove.
Hey, I'm a 24-year-old Music Producer moving to Sydney from England on a Working Holiday Visa end of November. Clean, Tidy, Easy-going guy. I like to have fun and socialise, but also enjoy my own space as well. Looking forward to meeting new people, and the right people to start my Australian journey with!
Hi! I'm Sand. I'm here to learning English as a full-time and also working as part-time. Used to work in the advertising agency field. Looking for a ‘private room or single’ in shared house or apartment.:)) I'm a person who tidies, prefer to keep my space clean, easy-going, peaceful, friendly but not really talkative person depends on the topic, fair, privacy respected, optimistic. Love food, Enjoy listening to music (Jazz/Soul/oldies, etc.), photographing, cafe hoppers, reading, running or outdoor activities and playing guitar (don't worry I won't play when sleeping time) and I love animals especially cats. :)
Hi! I'm currently studying at UTS and looking to move to the inner-west while I complete my studies. I've lived by myself for three years on and off so I am more than house trained and more than excited to start having people around to chat to, have a drink with and share the load of housework! I'm very good with pets and always down to cook massive dinners (as long as you can tolerate my music taste). However, I'm not a homebody and will rarely be found in a house longer than a few hours before and after getting some shut-eye. Currently, I'm working in Rozelle and plan to spend my first Australian summer in three years (I've been traveling every recent summer) working two jobs and building up a decent career resume. Always around for a coffee, a game of soccer or a board game, or a beer in the evenings -- even wine if that's how you go. Cheers!
I'm a friendly working professional who is moving to Sydney on Tuesday Oct 2nd for a new job. I work in publishing so if you love books I can let you know about all the new releases. I spend most of my time reading (for work and fun) as well as catching up with friends. I have a small dog (seriously, he weighs 2.5 kilos) that goes everywhere with me and loves everyone he meets. I've rented for the last 5 years and love living with friendly people. I'm very considerate and tidy and always up for sharing meals and laughter.
Hi, looking to find a new place to move into around end of October. I am currently in Croydon Park but this place is due to be demolished. So I would love to team up and find something from here to the Inner West. I have my 14yr old daughter that lives between her mum's place and mine. I also have 2 Chihuahuas and a cat. So ideally need to find a house with 3 rooms minimum. Most I want to pay is 350. Happy to meet up and see if we're similar minded. Not really interested in couples, more suited to someone single or single parent but of course you never know until you meet the person or persons.
Hey there! I’m Marco, I’m originally from Switzerland but have been living in Sydney for several years now :) I’m a marketing consultant and I’m also working as a freelance photographer. I love to travel, watching movies, going to the gym... As a Flatmate I’m normally pretty quiet, I like to live in a nice home where we can all get back to to relax, but I also enjoy living with cool people and share a meal, good conversation and/or a glass of wine :)
My current lease is running out and the girls I am living with are all moving back home, so I am looking for a room in an already established household or looking to teamup! Preferably you looking for likeminded people who love a wine or a beer and gets around a trivia night at the pub. However of course respect private time to netflix binge and study etc
