Hi guys. My amazing 3.5 month trip through South America is rapidly coming to an end and I have to put my adult hat back on and start to find a place to live. I'm a super chilled 32 year old guy, I work in sales for a small group adventure travel company, I travel interstate a couple of times a month for work and I will probably start to pick up shifts at my local bottle shop at Newtown in the evenings as well. Between all of this, I have a girlfriend that lives on the northshore, I gym and yoga to keep fit, l enjoy going out for meals with friends and I love to hit the beach or go on bush walks over the weekends. When I'm rarely home, I love to chill out with a glass of wine, a few beers, a doobie (or all three at the same time) and chat with my flatmates or watch some telly. I have a car so on street parking is a important. I don't mind if it's short or long term at this stage. I'm well aware that this is the time of year when everyone goes away for a month or two so this could help me out as well as you if it's only short term and a good price. Long term would be ideal however. I've been flat sharing for over 10 years now. A good flat mate in my opinion is someone chilled, clean, respectful, reliable and happy to clean after themselves. Ideally you would not be highly strung, happy to share a bottle of wine on a weekend and if you're into cricket, perfect
Hi all! I am currently looking for a private room in the areas described. I am a PhD at UTS in the field of microbiology, bioinformatics and genomics. I am looking for a nice place to live, preferably in a quiet and green area. I would like to live in an international environment, with respectful and tidy/clean people. I would enjoy feeling at home with my flatmates, exchange a chat and some laughs in the evenings. I would be gone for work every working day approx. 9 to 6, and I dance twice a week. I love animals, I wouldn't mind cats or other small pets in the house :)
Hi Everyone 👋🏻 We are 3 international students ( two Canadians and one American) studying veterinary medicine at the University of Sydney. We are hoping to find a 3 bedroom house, preferably furnished to live in starting December 1st for the 2017 school year. We are hoping to spend no more than $300/each for a room. If the house is not fully furnished we are at least hoping for it to have a fully functioning stove, oven, fridge, washing machine and dryer. Ideally the closer to the university the better as we would like to be able to walk to school. In our free time we like to watch Netflix, hang out with friends, and explore Australia. If you think you have the place for us shoot me a msg :)
My partner and I have recently moved to Sydney from Brisbane and are looking for somewhere central to live. I'm a lawyer and he's in finance, but don't let that put you off! We're easy going, respectful and have lived together and separately in a number of sharehouses. We're open to joining an established house or teaming up to create one. We are active, friendly and are enjoying exploring Sydney.

Hi all! I am relocating from Brisbane and need a place to call home. I'll be working in Events in Pyrmont so would like something nice and easy to get to preferably! I do have a car so would need to know if there is a garage/street parking. I am a very outgoing working professional, super neat and tidy and love to have a laugh and a cheeky wine! I'm not a big party person and will respect your space - it would of course be great to make a friend though! Happy to share a place with preferably no more than 2 other housemates (no shared bedrooms please). Furnished would be great but I can also buy new things/relocate my furniture from Brisbane if you don't have anything - I LOVE styling! Let me know what you've got! :)
Hello! I'm an Italian PhD student at Western Sydney University and looking for a cheap accommodation in the city, starting from the middle of January. I'm a tidy, respectful and friendly guy, I use to spend my weekdays at the library or at university, but on the weekends I really enjoy going out with my friends and housemates, especially for live music and cinema! I am very open-minded and tolerant and always ready for new experiences. Do not hesitate to contact me!
Hi there, I'm a 33 year-old New Zealander, moving to Sydney after years in London and am looking for a new home. I am about to start a marketing job in Circular Quay although the office is moving to Surrey Hills soon so I want to be in the inner-West. I lived in Sydney briefly back when I was at uni and am keen to get exploring again. I like to bike (to cafes not on trails...), run occasionally, travel, food and cooking... I'm clean and tidy and am looking for a cool houseshare with people I can hang out with too. Budget is $350 including bills and looking to take a place from end-Nov (flexible). Look forward to meeting you. Megan
Hi, I am Danny. I am 32 years old and single male. I am an accountant. I work full-time near the city. I am looking for an accommodation all for myself or TEAM-UP/SHARE near city. Any train station at walking distance, and parking for a large sedan is a MUST. I have a notice period of 3 weeks at my current accommodation which I will execute once I have found somewhere to move into, also, I can only move after 28th October 2016, so whichever is later. :) I like cleanliness around the house. I am a very easy going person. I am usually on the go at the weekends which would include going to a pub/club/restaurant or a meetup, playing pool, staying out the whole night or just stay at home and read a book or watch YouTube videos or a movie or marathon of any sitcom with a pizza and beer or whatever the mood is... I go well with people from all backgrounds. I respect privacy but also like to have a good chat (who doesn't?) and keen on doing joint activities with my roommate(s) like barbecue, groceries, shopping, gym, movies, sports or whatever they like. I am always open to doing new things. I have a new found love in karaoke lol. Not sure how long it will last before I hop onto some other interesting activity. I am very punctual about paying my rent and would want a roommate (in case sharing the rent) who always pays the rent on time. I am not looking for just another human being living in the same house who I barely talk to, unless they have a touring job or something that keeps them out for productive reasons. I look forward do build friendship with the people I live with. I am a vegetarian (not a vegan). I cook (not bad actually), and I love to cook for others too as long as it does not involve meat. I make my own cheese. :) I have no problem whatsoever if you eat meats. I do have problem with the smell of some sea foods though, like dried prawns. I volunteer with a food charity. Food is my passion. IMPORTANT: I have a queen size bed, an entertainment unit, a buffet table, a coffee table, a six seat dining table (BYO chair, LOL), a 3+2(recliner) lounge, a 3 door (385 Ltr) fridge, a big ass 65" 4K TV, home theater and a microwave, all of which I am happy to share. I do not have a washing machine. Depending on the rent and space I am happy to move a few things to storage. I do not have any pets. I love dogs though. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! Danny
Hey guys, so I have lived in both boarding school and college so I love living with other people and am also very used to it- I love cooking and sharing meals and some wine with everyone. I am really looking forward to meet a new group of people. I love going out with my friends, I adore my jobs as a nanny and a wine tasting manager and somehow fitting in some study in between all of that. I consider myself to be a very clean and organised person so you wouldn't have to worry about me leaving mess everywhere.
Brissi woman, neat and tidy, working full time, single, social but also like my down time. Regularly go to the gym, eat mostly healthy, drink socially, non smoker. Will be studying part time next year so having a larger room would be handy so I can lock myself away to study. Looking for anywhere inner city, close to public transport and shops (I don't have a car). My flatmate must be Ok with me having visitors over (no wild parties tho!). Oh and MUST have my own bathroom. Days of sharing a bathroom are well and truly behind me 😀 I have my own bedroom furniture but that's about it, happy to assist in furniture if we team up. Cheers!
We are both here with a Work and Holiday visa, working in Luna Park. We are very friendly people, quiet and clean. We also love to go out whenever we have free time and meet new people. I am from Argentina but lived in Barcelona for 3 years, and Priscilla is from Brazil. We would like to live in a place where we can share with other people and make new friends.
Hey there! I am Jelte from The Netherlands and I am looking for a room to stay for around 6 months from 20th of January near Camperdown area. As I will be working in Camperdown, I am looking for a room preferably around that region. The room itself does not matter too much except for the fact that it must be completely furnished! Myself, I am studying a masters Biopharmaceutical sciences programme and I will do a research traineeship at the Centenary Institute located in Camperdown. Probably I am in the lab every day except for weekends, so that will be the time to go on adventures. \ö/ I am a very clean and tidy person (I know everyone basically says that on here!) who likes sports, music, movies and fun times (like hanging out and grab a beer and stuff). I think I can cook quite reasonably! Actually I am very easygoing, incredibly laidback and up for anything new! The period I will be staying is from somewhere about 20-31th of January and lasts for 6 months, but that also depends on the traineeship. Thank you for taking your time reading this! :D Cheers! Jelte

Hi there I'm Maddi, I am a 2nd year design student looking to find a comfortable room with some friendly housemates where I can study and relax in my downtime. I work Part-time in Real Estate. I'm an easy going, active and happy person, looking to find somewhere to live for at least 6 months. I love gardening and have a collection of pot plants I would love to bring if possible. We're preferably looking for a room each in the same house but would consider living separately. We are both easy going, considerate, clean and fun girls looking for a long term home! Joanne works shifts in a well regarded restaurant/bar in Sydney (no anti-social hours). Laura is an Assistant and also studies. During week nights we are generally at Yoga, the gym, finding new eateries and out exploring at the weekends. We both enjoy cooking and a glass of wine or 2, are chilled and easy to get along with. We look forward to talking with you future roomies! Laura & Joanne.
Hello all, I am searching for a good sized room within a 30 minute bike ride from my work in Darling Harbor. I am very tidy, considerate, and enjoy a peaceful home life. I do not smoke, but don't mind if others do outdoors.
Hi Everyone, I'm very easy going, neat, organised, down to earth and respectful of people's lives and others personal space. I'd like to find a room mate with the same mindset who can also enjoy a nice chat or a glass of wine. I like to work on my fitness, I'm a foodie therefore I'm fond of cooking as well as a good cup of coffee. When I'm not working, I spend most of my time with my friends and family, love the outdoors, traveling and listening to good music by the ocean shore as well as dancing to Latin music. I speak several European languages 4 Latin and two Germanic and of course English : ) Due to my current job I've come back to Sydney. I'm a language and software trainer. I'm planning to move to a place close to work (CBD) mid December. I currently hold a lease at a beautiful place next to North Sydney. I could keep the lease if I find someone interested in sharing the space. You'd have your own bedroom + ensuite + terrace (shared) Drop me a line if you feel this might interest you
Hi future flat mate or mates :) I've recently moved from Perth to Sydney. I got an exciting job transfer with the company I was working for in Perth. I am an accountant by trade (but not by nature haha). I am originally from South Africa and moved to Perth in 2013 with my family. It has been a big life and career move for me but I'm ready for my next adventure here in Sydney! I am easy going and I can get along with most people. In my spare time I'll be exploring the city and I'm a keen surfer so I'll hopefully catching some waves up and down the coast. I'm super keen on getting out and about and meeting people and discovering all which Sydney has to offer. Please feel free to contact me if you'd think that I am a suitable flatmate. Feel free to ask for references etc. Thanks, Jaryd PS: If you're and AFL fan...I will continue supporting the Fremantle Dockers but may consider going to a few Swans games.
Hi! I'm a 31-year-old female from Barcelona who has just moved to Sydney to work at RPA hospital. I’ve already been in Sydney for an internship 3 years ago and I fell in love with the city, so now I'm back! I'm an outgoing person, who enjoys meeting new people. I like to share the house and also do activities together, but I also appreciate my privacy and tranquillity because I’ll be working full time at the hospital and then I’ll have to study and work at home too. I’m looking to share with a friendly, clean and tidy female/s or couple. I’ll enjoy cooking together, sharing a drink or watching a movie, but also I’m quite happy on doing things on my own as I do enjoy my own space and privacy as well. Some important information: - I’m a non-smoker. - I like pets so I don’t mind if you have some. - I’d love to have a common area with pool and gym. - Perfect location for me would be in walking distance to RPA hospital. - I’m looking for private room (furnished) + own bathroom I’m planning to stay in Sydney for 1-year minimum, but currently I’ll be staying only for 2 months (End Oct-22Dec), then I’ll be 5 weeks out and I’ll be back 30 Jan. Then I’ll stay for 1 year. I’m looking for a place to stay for this 2 months and if we get along well, then I can come back and stay for a longer period. Also it’s ok if I can only stay for 2 months and then I have to search something else.
20, studying Journalism at UTS and working part-time. Looking for accommodation close to campus with some friendly people. I enjoy socialising but also keep to myself when I have uni work to do.
I'm super friendly, considerate, and generally happily chilled out. I'll hang out with you if you want or cheerfully buzz off and enjoy my own company. I clean up after myself, half the time I even make my bed before work. I'm from Texas, I'm a theatre nurse near RPA, and I'm training for a powerlifting competition. Oh and let's go to the beach!
Hey there! Liv here! I'm in my final year of studying nursing all while working full time in a CBD hotel in Guest Services. I consider myself to be pretty easy going (originally a Coastie), clean and enjoy playing a part in the household. Due to my study/work schedule my down time involves me either studying, watching American Horror Story or Kath & Kim repeats, enjoying some good ol brie and sav blanc. Im looking at moving elsewhere as I am after somewhere a tad more modern than my beautiful federation house in Balmain. Let me know if your interested xo Liv

I'm a 26 year old full-time graphic designer. I have a beauiful Kelpie X named Erik; he's house-trained, obedience trained, gets plenty of exercise and stays outdoors when I'm at work. My hobbies/interests include (but not exclusive to) reading, sci-fi, mountain biking, art, cheesy horror films, roller derby and the big outdoors. Looking for a relaxed, friendly household, I've been living in sharehouses for the past 8 years, so very good at cleaning up after myself! Would love to hear from you.
Easy going, chatty Irish girl, with a great sense of humour, so never a dull moment! Clean and tidy, and I enjoy a few drinks at the weekends. Like to keep fit, so busy during the week.
Im Matt, a 29 year old Account Manager in the FMCG industry. I work in the CBD, and work fairly standard hours. Im a New Zealander, and enjoy socialising, and would be an active member of any flat. I enjoy getting out on the weekend and exploring Sydney, but also more than happy to just chill. Looking for a low key flat!
Looking for a room preferably furnished (at least with a bed) and has a built-in :) I'm friendly, neat, and respect other people's boundaries. I don't hang out in large groups so don't worry about me bringing home some friends and be noisy; I do go out at night on weekends but I don't take the party home where I want to chill. A late riser so your mornings are guaranteed quiet! I have a boyfriend that would like to stay over a few times a week, so we can work out an arrangement about that. Don't worry, he's a hoot. p.s. I'm confident in my baking skillz, will be responsible for the constant awesome fragrance throughout the house/flat.
hi there, I'm Alex. I'm a 21 yo Portuguese guy that just moved to Sydney. I'll be staying here for 1 year and i am lookin for a single room in a shared flat/house in reasonable biking distance from CBD (max 30min). Hi! I'm Laura from Adelaide. I'm looking for a lovely home in Sydney before I start my new job as a uni lecturer. I enjoy socialising and hanging out with friends over a good wine but am not a huge party animal. I would love to be sociable and friends with my housemates but I also have respect for privacy. I enjoy music, going to the gym/keeping fit, travelling, movies/netflix, good food, wine and animals. I am very courteous and tidy. I am really excited to be moving to Sydney to explore all the wonderful things it has to offer! I'm looking for a private room in a homely share house. I would need to fit a double bed and drawers. A built in wardrobe would be great but not essential. I would prefer to live with a few young professionals of a similar age to me. I have a gorgeous miniature labradoodle and it would be a bonus if I can find a pet friendly place, however I am thinking he will likely go and live with my parents for now. A car space would also be great, but not essential. If you think I would be a good fit for your room I would love to hear from you! I am not in Sydney yet but am available for face time/Skype. I'm planning to move to Sydney around the 24th of October, however I would gladly start paying rent sooner Should I find the right place for me. Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you! Laura

Hi :) I work in fashion retail where I get solid 30 hour weeks. It's a stable working position and I'm happy to provide any documents you need :) I'm super chill, love a good laugh and not overly pedantic around the house. I respect all common places and keep my own living area super clean. I'd like to think I'm diplomatic about things, so you won't expect me to leave passive notes on your door haha. I also love my quiet time but NOT a hermit - I do enjoy those family vibes over Netflix and dinner. Top preference for areas would be MARRICKVILLE but I'd be happy with the suburbs below too! - Camperdown - Glebe - Alexandria - Erskinville - Chippendale **No shared rooms, sorry **Preferably long term lease, 6 months - 1 year + .Will consider being included in the lease if both parties are happy. Hit me up if you think I'd be a good fit, always open to meet new people! NB: Please only message me via the site or email :)
Hi all, I’v recently moved from Melbourne up to Sydney for work. I’m currently looking for a place to live, and ideally some cool people to live with. This will be my first time in Sydney so I’m keen to meet some new people. I'm pretty easy going and don't mind the odd party if thats your thing, but also happy to sit in and binge watch a TV series or two. I’ll be working full time but I’m more than happy to pull my weight with regards to cooking/cleaning (not masterchef material but I can manage a stir fry etc.) Feel free to ask me anything :)

At the moment I'm staying with a family friend, but I'm looking for accommodation asap for the rest of my stay here (until mid February).
