Hi there! My name is Nusret. I am a neat and friendly person looking for a room in an apartment or townhouse in Inner West area for at least 6 months. I am an engineer in my mid-late 20s and working full time in banking. I'm an easy going guy with a good sense of humour. I love having a chat and I'm generally pretty interested in everything and always open to learn new things. I like having a cup of coffee outside and going to the beach! I like running and cycling. I'm looking for a place where people have their own lives but also inclined to have a couple beers now and then. Cleanliness and being respectful are important to me and I'm looking for a place that appreciates these as well.
My name is Marjolein and I am an anthropology student from the Netherlands. I'm going to study in Sydney for one semester and after thattravel throughout the country. I am always happy, I like to chat and help each other out. I really like to cook for others and I am a clean person. Hope to hear from you! Love, Marjolein
Hi! I'm Grigoris, or Gregory. I'm in Sydney for a year as an exchange student at UNSW studying psychology. I'm a slightly goofy, chilled out guy and spend most of my time studying, exploring, listening to music, watching movies, and trying out new activities. I'm quite social but also need me-time to recharge my batteries. I am trying to find a part-time job on top of my full-time studies and along with spending time in the library and extracurriculars I am looking for a chilled-out evening in the house/flat during weekdays. I'm hoping to find flatmates who will be keen on spending more time together than the regular 'how are you?' when bumping into each other in the kitchen. I'm big into cleanliness and tidiness, respectful of communal places and other people. Although I like partying and going out, I'm very understanding that's not everyone's cup of tea. I'm looking for a room in a shared flat/house with cool, like-minded people around my age (also preferably students but I don't really mind). I'm hoping for a friendly environment and ideally a home rather than a house. The room would have to be fully furnished unless the weekly rent is closer to 250 than 300. I'm looking to rent from the 12th of October. I'm currently renting short term and would have to move out by the 13th. I am looking for a flat not further than 10 minutes walk from a T station in the Inner West/East or CBD. In terms of renting period, I would like to have a flat for at least 4 months and the lease no longer than 9 months, so we can see how it goes. Drop me a message if you're interested or have any questions! :)
Hey, I'm Tess!! I'm 25 and work full time at University of Sydney Union creating fun programs & events for international students. I'm pretty much fascinated by anything to do with travel, culture or language, and have studied abroad in Spain & South Korea, but I promise to not go on about it (too much). I'm a pretty social and energetic person, so would love a housemate who is keen to have a chat after work over dinner, or join in the odd Community marathon (blanket fort optional...) When I can I love to get out of Sydney to go hiking, but usually I just settle for a bike ride or picnic in the city. These days my favourite thing to do is find some live jazz and swing dance with friends. Otherwise my hobbies are pretty standard; I like to bake, write, socialise, play guitar/ukulele and, of course, binge on Netflix series and classic 80s/90s movies. I'm hoping to take up piano lessons again soon, although won't be practising at all hours so don't let that concern you! Above all else I'm looking for someone friendly and easy-going who understands that shared living requires compromise and communication, as household tension is the absolute worst!! Hoping my new housemates are: - Sociable and friendly, love to do house dinners & drinks :) - Working professionals - Tidy, respectful etc. all that usual housemate stuff! - OK with me bringing all my plant babies along? I have a nice leather couch, dining table + chairs, nice indoor pot plants, paintings and various other bits of furniture that can be shared or put into storage. I've been trialling Marley Spoon food boxes so if anyone wants to get in with me on that I'm happy to share some cooking! In general usually keen to share occasional meals and general staples, just to save waste & money :) And also pretty environmentally friendly so would like to continue my soft plastic recycling and set up a worm farm if people are willing!
Hi! I'm an almost-lawyer from the inner west, looking to find a warm and sociable but also chilled place to call home. I love nothing more than a good chat over a meal or drink, but will respect your personal space :)
I'm looking for an unfurnished room (with own bathroom, or not shared with more than one person) in a very clean home close to public transport. I work full time on weekdays so they’re pretty low key for me. I’m a bit of a hygiene freak, so I like a clean and tidy place and would like to live with similar people. I really enjoy alone time, but always up for a chat with drinks. I have a cute little cavoodle puppy living with me part time. He's toilet trained and I intend to keep him indoors. He’d go to work with me during the day, so he’s basically only ever home when I am. Definitely interested in teaming up with other dog owners to find a pet friendly place and set up a new home. I have a place in mind if anyone's interested.
Easy-going, polite professional, moving to Sydney for work. I'm originally from Italy but I have lived in Australia for the last 7 years, in Melbourne and Brisbane, mostly in shared accommodation. I'm looking for a place with respectful, friendly flatmates. I enjoy socialising, cooking, watching movies, the beach and outdoor activities.
Hi! I'm 24 years old and have just gotten back from travel, so am looking for a new place to call home in Sydney :) I'm easy going, respectful and clean. I've lived in dorms and apartments with other people previously, so know how to live cohesively with others. I'm in my 5th year of study (almost finished), a non-smoker and rent won't be an issue. But mainly just looking to find a friendly housemates in a social but comfortable home
I've just moved to Sydney from Melbourne and looking to stay for 6-8 months. I'm working full-time as an engineer, typically work 8-5 but can work longer. I'm easy going and get along well with all types of people. Looking for a place that is social, but also can have some time to myself.
Hey! I'm a very relaxed, down to earth person with a zest for life! I love travel - city life as well as quiet peaceful getaways, going on nights out, photography, music, having a good social life, meeting new people, and experiencing new things! I get on with everyone, and am a tidy resident! I’m looking to live somewhere close to the city centre, with a max budget of $320 per week! Can't wait to explore Sydney!
I´m very organized and clean. Love to cook and eat healthy. Very respectful of other peoples´ sleep and personal space. Passionate about dogs, healthy eating and cooking. Love to meditate and do yoga and home workouts. Moved to Sydney from Colombia and I´m staying for two years while I study to become a certified personal trainer. Non smoker.
I'm really easygoing. I live a fairly active social life and coupled with work it means I'm out and about a lot. On the odd day when I'm home I'm extremely relaxed and love a day of Netflix, binge watching anything and everything, but especially love crime shows and psychological dramas! Can get behind a wine or two and love listening to music no matter what I'm doing. I work at IKEA in the Service Centre and have grown up and stayed around the inner west for most of my life. I love the vibe and activity and am constantly on the look out for cool hidden bars or live music places. Holla at me if you have any recommendations!
I’m studying med science at usyd. I study quite a bit but I also like to chill when I can whether it is watching Netflix, going for runs, baking or finding new brunch spots. I’m pretty laid back and get along with people easily.
I am a Dutch student who loves to travel hens why I am doing a full-time internship in Sydney for 6 months. I'm fortunate to have already seen a lot of the world. I enjoy socializing and having a drink from time to time but also appreciate some privacy. I'm a tidy person and therefore like to keep my surroundings clean; I think that's something everybody appreciates right? :) Oh! Almost forgot, during my time in Sydney I want to socialize and meet people. I would like to explore Sydney while I'm there!
I like to have a fun time with friends but also like my own quiet time. I am very clean and tidy and love to cook! I was at boarding school for 4 years and college for 1 so I am very accustomed to living with other people. I am a Registered Nurse about to start a Masters whilst working part time/casually. I am also a lifeguard and learn to swim instructor.
I am a law student from the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany and look forward to do a two month internship at Amnesty International in Sydney. I have an active lifestyle including sports, cooking and talking to each other. Back in Germany I spend my freetime playing Handball, chess and the piano, however I think Sydney might be a great opportunity to try out something new! Besides these activities it is important to me to have the opportunity to relax, read a book or listen to some music at home, so I absolutely respect it if flatmates need some quiet time as well. In Germany I have lived in a shareflat for two years, therefore I have some experience with this. Right now I am doing an exchange semester at Bangalore, India and enjoy the experience of Indias culture. During High School I have spent a whole year in the United States, so my English is fluent. Having gained such experience with adapting to a new environment I do not expect to have any trouble to settle in at Sydney. So I look forward to have a flatmate to talk to after work and cook or do something else together sometimes. However, everyone should have his/her own life at any time and a respectful distance should always remain.
I´m 20 years old and from Denmark where I have just graduated from business college. I live with some friends right now in Sydney but I am looking to move into a room long term. I am an outgoing and talkative person who enjoys meeting and getting to know new people. I love cooking, and often find myself cooking for my friends. I also love going down to the beach and getting outdoors! I go to the gym when I can during the week. I’m looking for a place closer to the city, either in the inner west, or near the beach/harbour!
Hey, I'm a 24-year-old Music Producer moving to Sydney from England on a Working Holiday Visa end of November. Clean, Tidy, Easy-going guy. Like to have fun and socialise, but also enjoy my own space as well. Looking forward to meeting new people, and the right people to start my Australian journey with!
