Hey! I am 24 and new to Sydney. I am looking for a flat to share with another person or two (starting February 2018), however, I would prefer my own room. I would be happy to join or if you would like to team up to find an entirely new place I would be quite keen on that too. I am a friendly, clean, respectful and easygoing person. I enjoy creating a cosy and aesthetically beautiful living space. I would be busy pursuing a masters at USYD and possibly teaching part time, but would fancy good company to grab a drink with occasionally or a yummy brunch (which ever you prefer ...or both) xx
Hello! I'm a 25-year Irish girl from Dublin looking for a private room in the Inner West Sydney area. I've just arrived in Sydney and have been hopping around from sublet to sublet since I got here - so I'm now looking for something a bit more long-term (3-6 months+) in or around the Marrickville/Newtown area. A bit about me: - I've been in Australia since December on a Working Holiday Visa, but have finished my regional work so am planning on being in Sydney for the next year at least! - I'm currently working 9-5 in Administration/Customer Service (the joys of temp work!) - I can be both an introvert and an extrovert so am down with most living situations. I definitely am very social on the weekends and love going out for drinks; but I like to keep it quiet on week nights, when you'll most likely find me in the gym, cooking or just chilling out having some me time. It would be great if we could be friends rather than just housemates, but if you rather keeping to yourself, that's not a dealbreaker for me. - I'm super clean and respectful, always pay rent on time and I like to think I'm quite easy to get along with! - No pets here myself, but I'm a HUGE animal lover - so any pets you have would be a bonus rather than a problem :) I currently have a sublet in Saint Peters that is up at the end of August, so would be looking for a move in date between 20th-27th August. If I sound like a good match for your room/house/home, let me know!
I'm a social, flexible and clean Dutch guy working and living in Sydney for 2 years and staying for at least 2 more. I like to cook for others, have a social drink, watch series. I often go out to salsa nights and events and you're welcome to join. I ride a motorcycle to work and in the weekends, so off street parking is preferred. Feel free to drop me a message to get in touch.
Hi my name is Cindy, I have been living in Australia for 5 years already and mi younger sister is moving in with me so we are looking for a place to stay together. We are very organised, clean and quite but we do enjoy beers and wine. I work at TAFE in Strathfield and my sister will be studying english at the MQ university.
Hey! My name is Seleena 😀 I'm originally from New Zealand but I've been living in Sydney for a little over a year now and absolutely loving it! I work as a nanny in Coogee, and I'm an artist on the side. I'm an excellent cook - due to countless hours of watching the food network or my family cooking. I enjoy doing new things in my spare time, and getting out and about exploring new cafes/bars/art galleries. I enjoy a glass of vino, or a jug of Aperol Spritz on occasion. Loves a good banter or a heart to heart! 😂❤️ I'm pretty easy going, basically looking to find a place that have housemates I can also call friends, eventually! Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi! :) I'm studying Social Work at the University of Sydney in 2017 and I'm looking for a place to live while I study! I'm hoping for my own room somewhere close to public transport. I come from a small rural town so I love exploring the city. I love love love my art, live music, snorkelling and travel (although I haven't experienced all that much). Im also a massive animal lover and more than happy to share with pets. I'm very easy going, definitely not a girly girl (hate drama :P) and I'm up for a fun night out or a simple night in.
Friendly and clean guy who loves sports and hanging out with friends. Starting my Masters at the University of Sydney right away and would like to find a place in reasonable distance from the school.
Hey I'm Raz (candice) I've just recently turned 30! I'm clean, quiet through the week and work 6 days... I'm up early and at the gym everyday and like to be healthy through the week. Sundays are normally spent out unless I've had a big Saturday night... so I'm only really home to eat and sleep! I'm happy, friendly and easy to get along with. I always pay rent on time so you won't have to chase me for it! I'm respectful and quiet in the mornings while people are still sleeping.
I am an exchange student from University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and currently studying at University of Sydney. Since I got chinese heritage, I speak a little cantonese beside Danish and English with an undefineable accent ;). I am studying Master of Pharmacy and going to stay here until end November. (Cliché alert!) I am a chill person who likes to travel and foooood, like anyone else ;). I am a very social person who likes to hang out with other people, eating together (home or restaurant), watch a movie, play some FIFA, go on trips, go on bars/clubs etc. However, I do not get drunk, since I get an allergic reaction when I drink, but I do not mind alcohols and I join parties as well. I may seem shy at the beginning, but I promise you that I am must more fun when you get to know me. I have lived in a dorm the last 4 years, so I know how to behave in a shared house and keep everything tidy. I am primarily looking for a place with other persons/students who are social and would like to discover Sydney/Australia together.
Hi, I'm Orkhan,a 21year guy . I'm going to start my new semester in USYD, so I'm looking for a place to move as soon as possible I'm quiet and responsible. I will spend most of the day in university. I would prefer quiet place to stay to study sometimes in my room. I do not mind if it is flat with smokers
I am 21 yr old in Perth, who is moving to Sydney in a few weeks for a full-time job in Ultimo. Ive been living out of home for 3.5 years, and am pretty quiet and like my own space. However as I am moving across the country I would like to have housemates that like to hang out sometimes, and show me the good local spots! I am very clean and respectful of people's space. I love live music, books, shopping, being outside/active. Thanks, Amy
I'm a 25 year old female, moving to Sydney in July to pursue a Masters degree. I have been working as a Media Executive for a TV Network and have now decided to take on full time study. Ideally, i'd like to find a place close to USYD. As i'm heading back to the books, I will end up splitting my time between uni, gym, some casual work and off course keeping sane with some wining and dinning. Being new to Sydney, I'd love to come back to an awesome flatmate! Someone who can respect my quite time but also be around for some chats and hangs. My weekends vary, anything from a weekend being social, or chilling in watching tv and i'd hate to admit this but catching up on study. I'm not the best cook so I'm hoping to find a flatmate who loves to cook! So I can learn a thing or two ! I'm quite clean and organised and would prefer to live with someone who likes to keep their living space the same. I hope to find a house with females & a private room that is furnished.
Hi. Im Zubin and I'm from Nepal. Im currently doing my masters at the University of Sydney. Im an avid football fan, love reading and playing the guitar. I like to keep things tidy and am looking for a room, preferably for a minimum of 12 months.
Hi, I'm looking for a room long term in the inner west. I love dogs so ideally your place has a resident pooch. I work full-time at Sydney Uni, like to have a chat but appreciate chill time too, and am pretty clean without being OCD. I play soccer, like to snorkel and bush walk, and enjoy a few drinks on the weekend. I'd love to hear from you if you've got a spare room and need someone to look after your dog when you go away.
Hi all, We are an easy going, friendly, organised, cleaned, healthy (sometimes) and funny brazilian couple who are looking for a double room in a quieter place to live in. We enjoy to gather with friends for a dinner, few glasses of wine and a nice chat. :) I am Rodrigo (Rod) and have been living in Sydney for 4 years. I am a dedicated marketer who represents 2 national organisations that provide housekeeping (IHServices) and corporate cleaning services (Bayton). My partner, Daiane, has been in Sydney for 2.5 years and is currently studying fitness in the CBD. She intends to start working as a Personal Trainer in 2018. Today she works in a Cafe in The Rocks (Playfair Cafe) and deals with customers throughout the day. The ideal House/Flat for us would be furnished and with a parking spot available. Ensuite preferable. We look forward to hearing from you. Best Regards, Rod
hello ! I am Vishal, I will be studying MIM from UNI SYD. I am easy going, affable person. Hey! I'm Bec, 22 and currently studying at University of Sydney. I've spent the past seven months overseas studying in Mexico so have just returned to Sydney looking for a room. I've had a heap of experience in share houses, and know how to adult and take care of a house. I consider myself pretty laidback and easy to get along with and hope to find housemates who are the same. I take my studies seriously and so in between work and the library I'm not home often week days. On weekends however I'd love to be able to have a cook a meal, have a drink or go out with my housemates. I am definitely looking for a house which is more of a home. Thanks heaps!
I am an international Post-grad Student moving from Toronto, Canada to attend The University of Sydney Law School.I am looking for a nice rental in close proximity to the school. I am neat, quiet and engaging. I enjoy yoga, watching shows and listening to country music.
Hello! We are Tom and Claudia, conservation biologists who just moved to Sydney. Claudia is doing her PhD on freshwater turtles at Sydney Uni and Tom is a freelance photojournalist. We are two divers, love the outdoors, friendly, clean and tidy. We are looking for a place for the two of us until early January 2017.
I'm a friendly, full-time employed queer femme who works 9-5 as a client manager for the public sector in Sydney's CBD. I also study molecular biology at Macquarie University so while I'm sociable I do need some down time and not a 24-7 party. I'm a qualified PT. I'm arty. I like to keep fit, cook something new (with great success!), check out cafes, restaurants and art exhibitions with friends, take photos or enjoy some couch time at home with housemates and pets if you have them -- and I'm a total sucker for Netflix nature docos for obvious reasons. I'm looking for a room WITH BUILT-IN WARDROBE in a vibrant, happy, smoke-free, drug-free home, preferably with queer/queer-friendly professionals. It's none of my business if you keep your bedroom in chaos, but having organised, cleanly shared spaces (particularly the kitchen and bathroom) is very important to me.
I'm an open minded person with passion for bicycles and music. I'm a full time working chef and easy to connect with. Need a quiet place with people who eventually become friends to me. Non smoker I'm on a temporary visa and plan to stay for good in Australia.
Looking for a room relatively close to USyd Main Campus. Easy going, from England (who doesn't love the British accent), love food but sadly cannot cook, and highly prefer to keep my area clean. I'm relatively quiet if you prefer your privacy but if you approach me for a chat then I can never turn it down!
