Hello there! I'm moving to Sydney to study a Masters of Speech Pathology. I'm a free spirit, quite neat (but not all-up-in-your-face about it), and I love music and writing. I can keep to myself, but I'm also be very social - life is about balance I suppose. I look forward to meeting whomever is reading this :)
Hello! We are two young professionals just moved from living and working on Fraser Island OLD. I am working full time and my partner is working and studying both in the hospitality industry. We are both very relaxed, friendly and outgoing people but love our down time. Clean respectful and easygoing, we are a very laid back pair always down for a cuppa and a chat.
Hi! I’ve recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne, as I’m about to start studying Med at USyd. I just got back from India with my girlfriend and am now making this big move. I’m really excited to see how it pans out; new city, new degree, new people, new experiences. I am very invested in my studies and my work as a tutor, but also I like to think of myself as a pretty sociable guy and am always down for a chat. If you’re big on basketball, reading fantasy, going to gigs, or (maybe a little typically Melbourne) coffee - we’ll get along great! I love cooking, and make a mean shakshuka. I’m pretty clean but also not so phased about how others choose to live in their own house.
Bella and I are looking for a 3rd person to start a lease/ create a home with!! We're 23, both quite sociable, we've recently graduated, will be starting full-time work in Feb/ March in Finance and the Environmental industry. We'd love someone who's also working, who would be keen to go out for drinks & likes a tidy house! Move in date as soon we can get approved for the perfect house :)
Hello! I'm Danielle, a Masters student moving to Sydney from New Zealand. I'm looking for a place (fairly close to Sydney Uni) to stay for a couple of months. A few basic things about me...I'm easy-going, I love animals (awesome if you have a cat or doggo!) and I enjoy the cheeky wine on the weekend. I'm tidy and well organised. I like yoga, running, playing guitar and adventuring outdoors.
I am a generous, kind, tolerant, thoughtful and friendly person, who is super tidy and clean. I'm also a great cook and have a wonderful sense of the absurd. I like to laugh, am generally pretty positive, and would like to share with someone similar. I moved to Melbourne from Sydney last March, but now find I will be back in Sydney for a 9 month contract (I am a freelance sound editor, working in film) from mid-March - ohhh, the irony! I love cycling, yoga, swimming, reading, MOST styles of music, film, intelligent company and conversation, great food and wine. Oh, and gin! And animals! So if you have pets, that is wonderful. I'll be working long hours so do require a non-party household thru the week. I hope we can find each other, future flattie!
I’m 27 years old, Taurus and vegetarian, currently studying Audio Engineering at JMC Academy and working part time at JB Hi-fi (between Sydney Airport store and Homebush warehouse). I usually work/study 9-7ish during the week and spend my weekends doing assignments or checking out gigs/parties, when I’m not super busy I’m always down for a chill. I’ve been living in share houses for the past 9 years and I’m generally pretty clean and tidy up after myself. I’m allergic to cats, dogs and dust mites so if there’s a household pet please let me know.
I'm a full time student at Sydney uni studying history and philosophy of science. I also work as a tour guide and at a museum, and tutor school students, so I'm a pretty busy person. In the spare time I have, I like hiking, swimming, poking around op shops, and I occasionally play a bit of guitar. I'm also a pretty good cook and really enjoy cooking for others. I'm looking for a friendly place to live where housemates are up for a chat and a beer every now and then, but I do also value my own space so I'm not expecting a social environment at all times. I'm also housetrained so won't make too much mess and will happily help clean the house.
Hi, My name is Emily! I'm 21 and I'm about to start my Masters at Sydney uni at the end of February, so looking to move to avoid the massive commute from where I live currently. I'm a super clean/organised person and I'm respectful of other people, also love to have a bit of a chat and a wine if it's a social house, and perfectly happy to keep so myself and do my own thing if it's more of a reserved household. I won't be hanging around the house a whole lot because of my study workload, and work, and I'll most likely be using my weekends to visit family and friends. If theres anything else you'd like to know, feel free to message me.
Hello! I'm Sonam, a 24 year old medical student from Canada. In my spare time, I like exploring Sydney's beaches and bars, gardening, and watching trashy reality TV. I anticipate being at school or the hospital for most of the day. I prefer my space clean and tidy and I'm a non-smoker. I definitely enjoy the odd night out but it doesn't happen too often as I have so much work to do for school.
Hey I am a tidy and easygoing guy, looking for a room or a teamup, preferably close to USYD, as I am in the final semester of my bachelor in Economics. Even though I may have used to be a bit of a party person in the past, as it is my final semester and I want (need) to improve my marks before graduation. Therefore I plan to limit it to some quiet drinks with the roommates every now and then. I spent the last year on exchange in the Netherlands sharing an apartment with four other people and we managed to create a great environment, that I would love to have again.
Future student in USyd majoring in Architecture and Environments, I came from Manila, Philippines and able to speak in English, Filipino, Spanish and a little bit french. I'm an organized, clean and able to cook. Arriving in Straya by 2019 Feb
As a student studying abroad from New York City, I am very good and learning the ins and outs of a city quickly. I love to adventure and explore and I believe there is no better place to do that than in Sydney. I am very neat and will keep my area clean at all times. I love making new friends and get along with others very well.
I am moving to Sydney from Scotland to complete my Masters. I am looking for people to potentially group together and get a flat with for 6 months (until the end of December). I am studying mechanical engineering and will be busy most days, but it would be nice to also meet people to explore Sydney and the surrounding area with. I am friendly and enjoy playing music.
Quiet type, non-smoker (no judging but cannot live with smoke), not the usual party type but would love to hang out with housemates occasionally. Looking forward to share a house with same age peers from different backgrounds. Also values and respects privacy. Avid reader :)
I’m a doctor at RPA and I’m looking for a place to share. I’m quiet, clean, and reasonably friendly. I’d be at work most of the time and when at home I’d be preparing for my board exams or sleep. I’m looking for a hassle free, reasonably clean, amd reasonably quiet place with mature and respectful flatmate(s).
I'm an Australia Awards postgraduate scholar studying at University of Sydney. My partner is a software engineer working at an edtech company located in Surry Hills. My study commences in December this year so I am looking for an 11-month lease. I am a quiet person who loves her alone time. I usually spend my free time reading books, watching documentaries on Netflix, and playing boardgames with other nerds like me. My partner and I LOVE cooking. We also like traveling and immersing in different cultures. I am looking for a bright room where I can study because I will spend most of my time at home writing papers and doing my homework. I am looking for housemates who are chill and tidy. We can offer good conversations about our country (the Philippines), Filipino food, delicious sushi rolls, and vegetarian sisig (look it up!).
Hi! I'm a software engineer working in the education sector. My partner has just started her master's at USyd so a place close to my work (surry hills) and the uni would be great. We're chill and easygoing but neat, tidy, and precise. We value punctuality, cleanliness, sunshine, and happiness. If you're into board games. wine/beer, and quiet evenings, we'll get along just fine. My partner has a profile too! https://flatmates.com.au/F2511079
I could be social despite being awkward for most of the time. A little shy, but hope to play around with human. I would love to live in a respectful environment, where everyone could respect each other and be responsible for the cleanliness of the house.
- Incoming UNSW Business School, Master student. - Just moved back from London where I have spent the last 2 years in shared accommodation, so I definitely respect what it takes to be a good housemate. - Probably too chilled out, but easygoing and I like to keep everything clean and tidy. - Originally from Perth, looking for a friendly home for the next 2 years.
Hello prospective flatmates/friends! I am a psychologist working in a non-for-profit with refugees. I am a lover of yoga and have very recently become a qualified yoga teacher - so...yoga sessions are on me! I am happy to spend time on my own but would also like to live in a place that feels like home where we can hang out, watch movies, have some food and a drink together every now and again. I've lived in share houses for a few years now, am a clean and tidy person and respectful to other flatmates.
I work full time in Child Protection and will be out of the house for around 10-12hrs a day during the working week. . I have 2 children who attend school in QLD - they will visit from time to time but they are aged 18 and 16 and are quiet, respectful, and mature girls. Usually, I travel to Cairns to visit them during school holidays when they aren't with their other parent and I'm happy to book accommodation for the week that they visit (e.g. - we have booked accommodation for Mardi Gras in March). The 18yo usually stays with her mates when she's in Sydney so space, noise etc is not an issue. . I'm a non-smoker and I don't mind pets but I am allergic to cats and dogs- I'm sadly leaving behind my maltese-shihtzu and a bunny when I relocate (antihistamines are my friend haha) . I'm quite social and prefer to be out and about on the weekends- I don't mind a few quiet drinks but I am also quiet and respectful of neighbours and other people in the house. I'm neat and tidy. . I'm currently looking to view homes 26th and 27th January with the view to move in the weekend of 9th Feb but dates are flexible to an extent. I can pay a deposit to secure a space, if required.
