I'm a barista in Alexandria and I do freelance photography on the side. I'm an easy bloke to get along with and definitely don't mind a drink on the weekends(even weekdays). I usually go gym in the afternoon aswell so i'm rarely ever home until later in the evening.
Born in Sydney, I have been living in Perth for the last couple years, and now want to come back to Sydney! I may have an alternative side and look about me, but I am a committed, kind, and creative individual with a beautiful cat as a pet. We are both very clean and quiet. I don’t really drink and I don’t do drugs. I like going to work, exploring the city or local area, and I like to spend time at home with my cat and potential housemates!
Hi all I am student on my final semester of the degree. Looking for a room within a share house for the next 6 months atleast. I work 2 jobs at the same time while i am studying and most of the time i will not be home because of my packed schedule. During my stay in sydney i have shared house and understand the idea of clear after yourself. In general i am a neat an tidy person, like to hangout or go for drinks out in pubs with mates. Currently i work as a bartender in darling harbour plus at Dan Murphy’s. Easy going person and love meeting new people.
I enjoy having a chat and casual meal and/ or drink with housemates, but also enjoy time to myself - like to think I find a good balance between these two things! I'm very reliable and tidy. I work full-time Monday-Friday, and get out-and-about over the weekend. Any questions, just ask :)
Hey everyone! I'm a student making the big move from Canada to study at the University of Sydney this January (flexible date), and am looking for a new place to call home! I will be in the USYD dental school program, so any other dentistry / med students out there especially - let's chat ! But of course, I am open to meeting others as well. I am excited about this new experience and am hoping to make new friends to go explore the area with! A bit about myself: I have had the experience of living in a shared accommodation (private room/ensuite; shared general areas; males & females) during undergrad and I understand the responsibilities and dynamics that come with it! I find living with cool people that I vibe with, a lot more fun and enjoyable than living on my own. I'm a flexible, easygoing, social, trustworthy, and caring person. I love going out and having a good time with my friends, and value the chill days in too. I appreciate independent time and also respect others'. I am always down for an adventure and a good time and like to joke around and laugh a lot. With that said, I also know when I need to buckle down and hustle - aka the study grind! As your housemate, I will: pay my bills on time, clean up after myself, respect your privacy, respect our shared space, share, be generous in the kitchen (I'll be happy to share what I cook or even cook together), remember to communicate , be understanding and considerate, and contribute to a positive environment. Other random things about me, I also like to: go to the gym, go to the beach, read a good book, toss a football around, watch football & hockey, go to sporting events, go out dancing, go to concerts, go on hikes, go for brunch, check out new cafes/bars, binge on tv, try new things, travel!! Oh and I love (and is almost always) listening to music! && You can trust me to 99.9% of the time - have a fresh pot of coffee brewing each morning. I'd like to meet flatmates that are like-minded; honest, socially active, fun-loving and values a well-rounded work-life balance and responsible work ethic in school. To sum it up, if you're a nice person and I sound like someone you'd be down to live with, then shoot me a message! I'm super excited to hear from y'all :)
Studying psychology at USYD, a little off centre, super chill, love people and animals :) I’m a proud plant mama with no filter and full of an endless supply of far too personal and totally inappropriate anecdotes. I enjoy company during late night cake sessions (yes, it's a thing), sickly dark humour and poop jokes. (Comes with a netflix and stan account, a blueberry tree named Simone and an infinite supply of free pet-sitting.) Let’s make a home x
30 year old professional, working in insurance.... exciting stuff I know ;) Fairly laid back, like to keep an active lifestyle. During the week will usually be gym after work and chilling. Weekends I'll generally be seeing friends and family. Big sport fan (AFL my favourite). Also love to travel, try new restaurants, bars etc. Dont mind a couple of drinks on the weekend but definitely no party animal. Lived in plenty of sharehouses in the past so no issues there. Relocating to Sydney from Adelaide for work late November. Feel free to flick me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your place. Nick
Hello :) :) :) I am great to live with as I have lived all over the globe, literally, since I was a kid! I was a Diplomat Brat and have been to school in places such as Singapore..Indonesia & NZ.. The list goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. As an adult, I caught the travel bug and am an online coach and travel the world with my son, aged 3. He's a pretty chill dude, and very respectful of furnishings and space, as he has been to 11+ countries since 6 weeks of age, and more airbnbs than we can count! :) I am currently in Glasgow, UK. Returning to Sydney and wish to stay LONG TERM , ideally 6-12 months in a house, (hopefully longer if we get the right dynamic). I work from a co-working space (The Hub) during the week, and my son attends a preschool 4 days, with a view to 5 in January 2019. We are out and about A LOT (coworking space events...parks..playgrounds...all the free events Sydney has to offer etcetcetc). I have to say that I can afford our own place, and I did this pre moving to the UK, but honestly, after living with people again, I can see my son and I thrive on it and it gets pretty isolating as a solo parent! I'm a pretty chill person. In saying that, I like to tidy up, clean, and cook a lot! (Don't worry, I don't care if you do or not, I just like to ;-). ) *SUPER OPEN MINDED *RESPECTFUL *RELAXED *LOVE COOKING *FINANCIALLY STABLE *SOCIAL *SUSTAINABLE *DIRECT & AMAZING COMMUNICATOR (no passive-aggressive post-it notes or txts, ugh) *LGBT friendly *Great music collection, particularly DRUM AND BASS! I get that living with a 3 year old (***HE'S THREE, THE THING WOULDNT LET ME ADD HIM UNLESS HE WAS 16 YRS OR OLDER-HAHAHA) is not everyone's idea of an ideal housemate, and yet I encourage you to meet us, and then judge for yourselves! I come with good references and referees, as does my little dude, just ask :). *I also have a fair bit of furniture (dining table/butcher's bench/couch, artwork) which is in storage in Sydney at the moment, from our last home. I guess I'll tell you about my favourite living arrangements that seemed to work best for us: BERLIN WAREHOUSE *We had a massive room and ensuite *The house was full of DJs and artists (perfect for my son to enjoy company and they were always making noise themselves, so didn't mind much what he was up to) *we got to be social and have company, but also enough space to retreat when we wanted GLASGOW HOUSE *This was a small space with one other gay woman and her cat. She worked a lot at a bar. When she was home, we were social and shared a vino or three while my son played. Will miss this place!! My son loves all animals and loves giving the dog a walk if you have one ! Spaces that DIDNT work: * People who are allergic to kids (they exist) *Toxic people who are low vibe and negative *If you communicate passive-aggresively via sms or post it notes and have no communication skills *Uptight/super anal people *If you are a light-sleeper (sometimes he wakes up at 5am, that's kids for you) ---Haaaa! That's what earplugs and wine are for riiiight? Looking forward to hearing from all the high-vibe lovers who'd be keen to setup a great space together or already established a space for us to add to! X Pixie & Zen
I’m an adventurous, active, and social person, and I’m a respectful and clean housemate. I love salsa dancing, and being in the outdoors incl hiking and camping, and I’m always keen to try new things. I’m 32. I'm a lawyer, working in an NGO.
Hi! I'm Tommaso, 25, from Italy, about to start working as an economist in Sydney. I've had a great time with flatmates from all around the world when I lived in a share house in Milan (for 18 months) and Geneva (for 6 months). I'm always up for a chat over a cup of coffee and making dinner together now and then, but if you need to do your own things that's also ok with me. I keep things clean and tidy. I love cinema and hiking. I'm studying Spanish in my free time and I'd love Spanish-speaking flatmates, if they can bear the occasional Italian word in the conversation!
Hey, I'm a 24-year-old Music Producer moving to Sydney from England on a Working Holiday Visa 21st November. Staying in a hostel for two weeks, so will be able to move in somewhere 6th December! I'm a Clean, Tidy & Easy-going guy. I like to have fun and socialise, but also enjoy my own space as well. Looking forward to meeting new people, and the right people to start my Australian journey with!
Working full time. I enjoy reading architecture books and watching Vox, sometimes on the beach or in a park. I'm finishing up studying architecture soon and am looking for a place in the Inner East/ West to stay for a month before going to Europe.
Prior to moving to Sydney to study postgraduate medicine, I was a shift worker in a clinical laboratory on a 24/7 roster - so I understand both the professional and study lifestyles. This has allowed me to understand different personalities and perspectives and I’ve been told I tend to ‘go with the flow’ if any issues arise. I see myself as a pretty relaxed person whose respectful of others space but also just as happy to socialise. I enjoy being active and in my spare time you’ll find me relaxing outdoors or near the beach if it’s sunny!!
I am a University of Sydney student from Armidale NSW looking for some short term summer accommodation. I am working 20 - 40 hours a week and will be back and forth from home during December, but am still willing to pay rent over the Christmas period. I have lived in share housing before, and am outgoing and personable, but will be easy to live with as I have loads of work to complete over the summer so am just looking for a chill place to settle down and rest between the many work hours I will be working over the summer.
Hi, my cat and I are looking for a room to rent. I currently live alone but it would be nice to have others around and to share bills with! I'm open-minded, inclusive and relaxed about about sharing with anyone as long as they are nice and stress free! No drama lamas please! I work full-time Monday to Friday and study so I'm a low maintenance flatmate. I think what makes me good to live with is that I do chores, am clean, pay bills on time and all that stuff that keeps things ticking well without arguments. The place must be cat-friendly please. My cat has been with me for 14 years and we are a package deal :) She's adorable I promise!
I'm a 23 year old working full time in research at USYD. I live a pretty quiet existence during the week; I'm up early for work and like to spend my evenings winding down with a glass of wine and a good book or Netflix series, or out for dinner with friends. My weekends are spent outdoors during the warmer months, or cafe hopping in the cooler months. I'm independent and tidy, but enjoy catching up with my housemates or sharing a drink when our paths cross. I’m looking for somewhere I can call home for the long term. I have a car so require either off street parking or decent, unmetered on street parking. If you have room your looking to fill that sounds as like it would be a good fit I’d love to hear from you :)
Born and raised in Sydney, young photographer and in general a lover and participant of the creative arts suck as music, fashion, visual arts and more. I have a pet cat, her name is Costanza (yes, I am a Seinfeld fan). I like to have fun and party the night through though I am still respectful of other peoples needs and schedules. I am comfortable with living with women and LGBT+ people, and I especially hope I get to live with other cool creatives. I'm also a vegan, but I'm still okay with living with people who aren't. All that I mostly require is a room big enough for a desk, an iMac and my photographic equipment, as well as other essentials. Other than that, my only other hobby is DJing and playing music. Hit me up if I'm your guy!
We are both super quiet, clean, rarely at home, and extremely considerate of other people. We will rarely if ever have people over and see our home as somewhere peaceful to relax, not a place for lots of socialising, which we do when we're out. Both working part-time and studying full-time, looking for 6 months - 12 months.
I'm a simple, fun loving, traveler, always up for experiments. By profession, I'm a software engineer moving to Sydney this December. My family will join me in the month of June, so I would probably in a shared accomodation till May of 2019. Please note that I'm a father, but my kid won't be accompanying me for the stay.
Future student in USyd majoring in Architecture and Environments, I came from Manila, Philippines and able to speak in English, Filipino, Spanish and a little bit french. I'm an organized, clean and able to cook. Arriving in Straya by 2019 Feb
Experienced with using flatmates and living with new people, I work full time so mainly only home at nights, don’t really talk, would like to be social with flatmates but very much like being able to come home and do my own things in my room aswell
I'll be commencing my Masters degree at The University of Sydney in February 2019. I love hiking and the outdoors and I get along well with active people. I am quite particular about cleanliness and I'll probably cook for you if we get along well :) I have travelled to 25+ countries I am very open-minded and accepting of different cultures and people. I don't smoke or party, but I'm always up for a glass of wine. Or two. Or three. If you think I'd make a good flatmate, message me!
